#56 of Iron Dragon

Perenth and Inilth found Nodrog assisting with salvage operations. The council had given them their answer at first light, as promised. They had other responsibilities to take care of first thing. Nodrog was thankful the cold air and a little work had erased the lily smell from him. He was not sure how some of them would take to the fact he lay with Mianth in her own chambers.

"How has the council weighed?" Nodrog asked in draconic. They had walked a little ways off from the humans and the Velopians.

"They understand our reasons, but in the end they will not let us get involved." Inilth grumbled.

"Dallarth, having been named a typhoon recently and you are the only ones who the council cannot order." Perenth said and almost on cue, Dallarth walked over to them.

"I can see why you dislike the council so." Dallarth said.

Nodrog chuckled. "They have their purpose, I suppose. If you want, I can take you to them, and the two of us can hand out revenge."

Dallarth laughed. "If Perenth and the others will excuse my absence, I would very much like that. However, we will have to do something about your lack of a true form."

"Three forms is not enough?" Nodrog asked with a laugh.

"I might have other reasons..." Dallarth turned to Perenth. "I know my status has changed, but you are our leader and I respect that. So I will ask permission to go with the iron dragon and crush the dragon enemies where they dwell."

Perenth was a little surprised since they did have their differences. "This is still a point we very much agree on. Dallarth I will gladly let you and Nodrog go and deal with those mortal vermin who think they can control us."

Dallarth and Nodrog smiled wickedly. "Oh, they will know the cost of crossing our kind." Nodrog said his eyes glowing icy blue.

"Try and keep up with me, and we will take care of your true form." Dallarth teased, her own eyes glowing an eerie violet. Her form darkened and stretched as she took to the sky, the iron dragon spreading his four wings and leaping after her.

Jenny's collar glowed slightly as Nodrog told her that he and Dallarth were going to take care of something. "Excuse me, Mr. October."

Marko turned to Jenny. "Is there something wrong?"

"No sir. Nodrog wished I tell you and Ambassador Sharn; that he and Dallarth have gone to take care of something. He apologizes for not informing either of you in person." Jenny was getting over the nervousness she usually had around Marko. Maybe it helped that Lilith was here, or that the Velopians were easy to be comfortable around. She had forgotten how kind he had been when she was much younger.

"The council must not have weighed in their favor if only those two are going." Eryk said softly.

"I suppose that cannot be helped. This greatly effects the power we have as allies since we each have a typhoon. The grays dislike dragons more than any other race. It also means we will have to be careful once you reach further into space." Sharn said and looked at Jenny. "Jenny please tell him, we appreciate the notice."

"Of course." Jenny said. She closed her eyes only for appearance sake and told Nodrog they thanked him.

Nodrog still smiled wickedly as he chased after Dallarth, who had found an old quarry lake, a good distance from any people. "This should do, before we move on." Dallarth said as he landed with a heavy thud.

"And what are we doing?" Nodrog asked as she walked over to him.

Dallarth ran her finger lightly across his chest as she walked partly around him. Dallarth was standing directly behind him. She put one arm around him and caressed his cheek with her other. "I am going to help you gain your true dragon form. Because you should have that freedom once more... Mianth had told me about last night, and it has been a long time since I lay with a strong mate."

Nodrog smiled as she whispered in his ear. "I barely remember my original form. I did not think she was the sort to kiss and tell."

"Okay, I overheard her talking to the young Velopian woman who takes care of her chambers and helps her with other duties onboard the ship. Her soft skin was still lightly flushed when we saw her this morning." Dallarth still spoke softly. This close, she could smell the water dragon's faint scent on him. It was something several dragons could do, usually those who disliked fighting and violence. They released a soothing or calming scent, when they were nervous, afraid or aroused.

"So you do have an ulterior motive." Nodrog said.

"It is a little more thrilling to mate in that form. And unlike Mianth, I like to be a little more, physical." Dallarth let go of him as she spoke and moved so she stood once more in front of him.

"Even partial memory will be enough. Close your eyes and focus all of your thought on how you used to be." Dallarth said and began to cast a spell in front of her. "Remember that was the reason the other races revered and feared you. Think back to how you could soar through the skies and strike fear into the hearts of your enemies."

While Nodrog did as she told him, Dallarth's spell was pulling the images from his mind. Focusing them even more until they were crystal in clarity. She focused on turning that spell into his transformation spell, one he had forgotten he always could use. "Open your eyes and take this spell into you, and take your true dragon form."

Nodrog held out his hand the spell shot from Dallarth's hands and into him. His eyes glowed once again and he fell to his hands and knees. He grit his teeth in pain as he grew.

Dallarth took a step back and shielded her eyes as his magic exploded instantly changing his form. She smiled as she looked up to him, now a proper dragon in size and shape. His metal skin lightening in color to that of a forgotten sword, dull and un polished. He spread his wings and was larger than a small passenger jet.

Dallarth took her true form. She was blacker then night, and was a little smaller than him. She smiled and rubbed her neck against his, whispering. "Mmm... Now I am pleased... We could not just drop in without being properly dressed."

"We should not keep them waiting." Nodrog said, nearly feeling as good as he had in omega form.

As it turned out, some of those on the list were meeting at one of their large and lavish mansions. They even had some gray officials with them discussing what they should do about the loss of the facility. They panicked as Nodrog and Dallarth landed with heavy thuds, cracking the decorative stone and concert work around the pool and patio.

Their body guards turned the magic nullifier as high as it would go and armed themselves with weapons that could harm dragons. Well normal dragons, since the rounds did nothing against metal flesh or shadow. Dallarth breathed out a thick poisonous cloud as Nodrog breathed fire.

The humans and grays cowered in fear as Nodrog called them out by name. The list even had the names of the grays on it. The two dark dragons leered down at them, with contempt and hatred. They attacked in broad day light and with the nullifier clearly having no effect, the grays and humans remembered why at one time they feared the dark and dragons.

As an unholy light formed in both dragon's maws they realized to late their mistake in capturing the one. Like the dragon they had tortured, their own cries of mercy fell on deaf ears. Dallarth and Nodrog left nothing standing before moving on to the next home, and then the next.

At each place, they made certain to call out those who they had names for. They killed family and staff first, before those who had committed the atrocity against dragons and the two mortal races.

Dallarth smiled as they stood in the crumbled remains of the last. "After that, now I really am in the mood."

Nodrog turned just in time to see Dallarth shoulder into him, knocking him to the ground and crushing a small out building. He smiled and whipped her legs out from under her with his tail. As the two now fought each other, Nodrog laughed at her earlier comment about being more physical.

Dallarth was breathing a little heavy as he pinned her under him. The glow from her eyes faded and she nuzzled his neck, submitting to him. If he was not metal she would bite him, but that would not work no matter his form. It was a problem one faced when being a little more physical with some earth elemental dragons. As he pushed all of his hard member into her she moaned loudly.

Nodrog licked the wounds he had given her, as they lay tails tangled. She humped her pelvis up, matching his pace. The pair tossing aside romance for just the animalistic fucking they wanted. They both came twice and did not tie either time.

Dallarth rolled over and stood. "I really needed that. I suppose we should head back, or the others will worry about us."

"I think they will manage without us, for a little longer." Nodrog said and quickly took her from behind once more.

Dallarth cooed as he entered her. "No wonder those two humans do not want you to leave." She arched her back and pushed back into him. After their third mating, they spread their wings and took to the sky.

Both mortal races were not prepared for the two dragons to return in their true form. Due to his metal nature, at first they thought they were under attack again from the grays. With no need to frighten anyone, they landed softly.

"You are right, this is fun." Nodrog chuckled as he looked down on the humans and Velopians.

"I thought you would enjoy it. Still we should change back before drawing to much attention to ourselves." Dallarth said.

The two took their false form once more. They had been gone most of the day and wanted to see how salvage operations were going. Alyvia and Sherman were standing to one side. After spending a great deal of the day working together, both sides had gotten past the initial worry and nervousness of working with the other. It helped that Alyvia and Sherman were making every effort to be good examples to their troops.

From what Nodrog and Dallarth observed, neither officer was trying very hard, they simply got along naturally. The snow was mostly packed down hard from the vehicle traffic from both sides. The Velopians salvaged a little to help offset some of the damage the ships took.

"It looks like you have made very good progress in our absence." Dallarth said and stood next to Alyvia.

"We would like to think so. The ship repairs are nearly complete, the humans have been very helpful and have very well equipped machine shops." Alyvia said.

"I cannot say how things are going inside, but out here; things are going very well. We have had very little trouble." Sherman said and looked at Nodrog.

"I am relieved to hear that." Nodrog was relieved since he had brought all of this about. He wanted it to succeed, to show he could do more than wage war and slaughter. Maybe it was a bit selfish to think that way, but he really did want to be known for more than the evil he used to be.

Perenth and all of the dragons walked over to them. "You were gone for a long time, did everything go well?"

Dallarth bowed. "Indeed, it went very well."

"They know the cost of crossing our kind. We were a little long in making sure the nullifiers were unsalvageable." Nodrog said and crossed his arms.

"So the humans and grays expected us to retaliate? That is troublesome. We will need to warn the others about those machines." Bothrog said.

"There is not much we can do at this point. We should have the Velopians take extra care and give the grays a wide berth." Inilth said.

"But we already give them a wide berth, the only way we can give them more room is if we avoid certain stations all together." Alyvia said.

"Alyvia raised a good point. We cannot avoid some stations and planets completely." Mianth quietly added.

"It might be taken as a sign of weakness. I think you should continue as normal, it will show a strong front." Sherman said.

"Alyvia and Sherman are correct, the Velopians cannot afford to show weakness. Least others might start taking advantage of them. They have strong allies, so the grays would not risk a full scale war." Dallarth said.

They all turned as a large truck pulled up. Marko, Eryk and Sharn got off and walked over to them. "Good the two of you are back." Sharn said.

"We did not want to interrupt anything further." Nodrog said.

Marko chuckled. "We wanted some fresh air and to see how the rest of you were fairing."

Alyvia and Sherman recounted much of the day, aside from a few language problems, everything went well. The armor could translate, but humor and sarcasm where a little harder to convey. Really there was little problem on either side once the more technical staff from both sides came out. They were rather surprised there had been so few problems.

It had taken very little effort for one of the Velopian techs to reconfigure a few of the armor radios to work outside of the armor and for the humans. Allowing those not in armor to have translators, speeding up everything. Certain things worked the same regardless of who made them. Hydraulics and electronics all followed the same laws and principals no matter what. Voltage was always voltage and fluid pressure was always fluid pressure.

Motors, transmissions and other hard parts were fairly straight forward. Even the most complicated of computer circuitry still broke down to the basics they all knew. The programming that ran it was the most difficult to figure out.

Marko and Sharn were very pleased and happy with how well their people were doing and getting along. It was one thing if they worked well together, but they knew for it to really work out and last. The people under them had to work well together.

The dragons did little to interfere, allowing the mortals to work things out for themselves. Which was how things were supposed to be. The week passed quickly without further incident. Nodrog was glad he got to spend a fair amount of time with other dragons, still he was thankful for the quiet that came after the Velopians had taken to the skies once more.

It was the only night Jenny did not cook. They went to the lounge for a little celebration. Which did involve a little drinking. It was the last night Lilith was going to stay with them before she headed back to get to her own work. Nodrog did not have to carry any of them to the apartment, just put up with their giggling.

Alice woke up and stretched. "I think I drank too much." Alice grumbled as she rubbed her eyes, sitting up.

"I think I did too." Lilith said and sat up.

It took a moment but Alice and Lilith looked at each other, then they looked down. Both of them were naked, with a few of the toys forgotten on the bed. Lilith still had one side of the handcuffs around her wrist.

Jenny came out of the bathroom naked and smiled. "I didn't think elves were so kinky. Last night was amazing." Jenny said and quickly got back on the bed crawling over to the two of them.

Lilith blushed as Jenny got next to her. "I have been with a few women, but I have never made one squirt before. For someone who has never had sex with a woman, you are really, really good at it." Jenny said and kissed Lilith.

Lilith's mind raced as she remembered what they had done. She had not been the only one to be handcuffed, or tied up. What troubled her the most was how much she liked it. "But I like boys not girls!"

"Could have fooled us." Alice said as she now remembered over an hour of hot, sweaty, girl on girl on girl sex.

"My back is going to be sore for a week." Jenny said and stood up to go take a shower. Alice and Lilith both blushed as they saw how scratched Jenny's back was. Neither had drawn blood, but the poor cat was scratched up. "I am surprised we didn't break the strap on..."

Alice and Lilith blushed even more as Jenny turned on the shower. "Um could we find the key?" Lilith asked holding up her right hand.

"It is around here somewhere." Alice said as she reached for her glasses.

Nodrog smiled as he leaned against the door jam, admiring Alice and Lilith's naked little asses as they searched for the handcuff key. They were not going to find it, since he held it in his hand. "Looking for something?"

Alice and Lilith froze and turned to look at Nodrog. He had the key in his hand, with a smug little smirk. Because they were both on their hands and knees, he had a very good view of their assets.

Nodrog walked over to the bed and Lilith quickly sat down trying to cover herself up. He wanted to punish them, since they had forgotten about him. In the end he couldn't do it. Nodrog held out the key. "Don't worry, I am not going to do anything."

Lilith tentatively took the key from his hand. "Thank you."

Nodrog smiled and turned to leave. "I still got a pretty good show before the three of you came back here."

He laughed as Lilith yelled at him in elf. He could have stopped them, but he thought they might let him join in. It did require a cold shower after they had moved to the bedroom, but he did have sex with Mianth and Dallarth. In that regard, things were sort of fair.

Jenny cooked up a fairly big breakfast since the three of them did a lot of screwing around last night. She was very pleased with how many times she had gotten Lilith to cum. Alice and Lilith both took a shower since they were still a little sticky from the lube and their own fluids. Alice would have to wash their sheets.

Breakfast was a little awkward, but after Lilith packed up her things, they were mostly back to normal. They said goodbye and Lilith called Azule to take her home. Where the first thing she would do was take a nap. She did have a lot of fun, but it was hard to keep up with Jenny's constant energy.

Jenny was freed from translating finally as they had gotten a computer program to get it done much, much faster. She was glad to be back in their lab with Alice as things slowly quieted down from the excitement of meeting the Velopians. There would be many more meetings over the next several months.

Jenny and Lucy had made all of the wedding arrangements. Catering, the minister, and renting a tent were all scheduled and paid for. The only thing not set in stone was what song Alice would walk down the aisle too.

Nodrog was downtown at the club one evening after a practice, looking through sheet music.

"What are you looking for?" Winston asked. Jennifer standing next to him.

"Jenny and Alice want me to play a song for Alice to come down the aisle too." Nodrog said as he glanced over some music.

"Funny Sherman had mentioned they insisted." Winston said with a smile.

Nodrog chuckled. "They did."

They all laughed and tossed out a few suggestions. It was three weeks off so he had a little time, and they had narrowed it down to four different songs. None of which was the traditional wedding march, that was boring and unimaginative.

Chapter.

February passed quickly and with little incident as well. It did not take the defensive scientists long to figure out how to reproduce the grays' shield generators or some of their other technology. Sherman and Nodrog were outside with Marko and a large group of staff as they did a few demonstrations on a pair of howitzers and a truck with the generator on it.

"We are hoping to have a unit powerful enough to shield a building in a few more weeks." One of the techs said as two of the heaviest tanks they made lined up shots.

"The biggest drawback right now is powering them. The grays use small fusion reactors in nearly all of their medium and heavy armor." Another tech said.

Both tanks fired on command and the two howitzers were unharmed. The shield becoming partly visible when the rounds hit it. "From my understanding, that is also the limit it will work?" Marko asked as he glanced over some notes.

"Unless it is tied into the main power grid, yes. We have gotten the hydrogen fuel cell to protect the truck itself for an hour." The first tech said.

"Still, tied into a facilities' power system, it would protect static defenses for considerably longer." Nodrog said.

Sherman pretended to look at the notes. "Why did the facility we attack not have them? Or do you think with enough energy, a weapon could punch right through."

"I was thinking it was like bullet proof vests, works great for something moving at high velocity, but against something moving rather slow, it is worthless." Nodrog said.

"In our testing that is what we have found. Low velocity incendiary rounds, large howitzer rounds, and a few shoulder fired rockets will go right through it." The tech said.

Marko smiled. "You have been reading up I see."

"Roslyn and Sherman got me interested in the history of breaking the sound barrier, I also read a few very interesting books on the history of weapons. I spend much of the night reading while all of you sleep." Nodrog said and crossed his arms. "Actually thanks to Cindy, Roslyn and Alice, I have read a lot about flight and auto racing."

"Did you know that when you were fighting them?" Marko asked.

Nodrog chuckled. "Yes. That is why all high velocity weapons were aimed at the unshielded aircraft or small unshielded units. The grays are so concerned with cutting edge weapons, even a twelve pound cannon ball could damage their front line armor."

"What is the smallest weapon omega has?" Sherman asked as the techs set up a few another demonstrations. This one he was looking forward to, a plasma cannon.

"Either the twelve pound smooth bore cannon or an equivalent to a thirty mm gun." Nodrog said.

"And the biggest?" Marko asked.

"Gun? It would be the nine twenty four inch guns along omega's back. Most powerful, would be the dark light cannon." Nodrog said and read the overview of the next test. "I can use the dark light cannon even in this form... though it is greatly reduced in power."

Marko reached for his insulated coffee mug. "Is that how you dealt with the ships in orbit?"

"Yes, I couldn't do that now, but those tanks would be easy." Nodrog chuckled.

Sherman leaned back. "I thought you always kept a card up your sleeve?"

"Omega was and still is the ace up my sleeve. Unfortunately, some of you have seen all of my cards now... it does you little good. I could give you a complete rundown of all the weapons at my disposal in that form, but it would not change one simple fact." Nodrog said.

"And that is?" Marko asked.

"I am always the victor." Nodrog said coldly. The point was emphasized by the towed plasma cannon firing. Basically a light energy field gun, there would be bigger or smaller, but this was just to make sure they understood all of the physics behind it.

Sherman and Marko thought on his last point, his tone of voice leading to them believing it was an actual fact and not a smug idea. That form had single handedly stopped an advancing army, then annihilated it. What had not been salvaged was either used for target practice, or melted down for the titanium alloys and other metals. Currently they had more of the metal then they knew what to do with...

Actually Marko knew exactly what to do with it, once they salvaged parts from the star ships floating in orbit. He knew of two ways to travel through space quickly, not everyone might like using magic. But he was not above keeping superior equipment for himself.

The hardest part Marko had to figure out was, what could the human race offer to the other races out there? The only thing that came to mind were novelties, and perhaps some food export. After all, the rest of space might not have coffee, or garlic. From a purely business standpoint, it was going to be a logistical nightmare. From the scientist's or adventurer's standpoint, why not just jump right in?

As Sherman and Nodrog talked with the techs, Marko thanked god he had a leg up on his competition. Nodrog has been to other worlds, and dealt with many different races. And he had the tactical foresight to see advantages in certain areas. The iron dragon may have caused a few problems and headaches, but was greatly making up for his short comings. Now even more so, since he managed to convince the Velopians not base their opinion solely on the humans who had done them wrong.

Nodrog and Sherman still had work to do, to get ready for the large recovery out west at the end of March. Final staff assignments and equipment considerations... Basically all the boring shit they had to do first. Which was how the two of them saw it as they returned to Sherman's office.

"Have you and Samantha picked a date yet?" Nodrog asked as he sat in a chair.

"I hate to say it, but when ever Samantha wants it is fine. We were thinking in the fall once things quiet back down." Sherman said as he sat at his desk.

"To bad they will not get much of a honeymoon since the recovery is a week and a half after the wedding." Nodrog said.

"We will be in sunny southern California, staged next to a beach and a bay..." Sherman laughed.

Nodrog looked at him with a raised eyebrow. "Alright, what is so funny?"

"We just might get paid to watch a bunch of topless women chase after Jenny." Sherman said with a smile.

"We have it so rough some days." Nodrog chuckled.

"Yes we do." Sherman said. And after two hours, they called it a day without doing much work. Granted they spent most of it watching demonstrations and in a meeting. They did get everything done before they had to leave for the wedding.

Jenny, Lucy and Carrel all took off to head to the beach house the Monday before the wedding. They drug Nodrog along to help move heavy things, because no one had been to the little house in a while.

"This is such a cute little place." Carrel said as they got out of the van they had rode in from the airport.

It was a small, blue two story home tucked in a row of other small little houses. It was a little expensive, but Jenny kept the lawn care service her grandparents had been using for the sixty years they owned the home. The garden and the flowers were all well taken care of and had started to bloom. All of it sat behind a short little white picket fence along the South Carolina coast.

Lucy held the gate while Nodrog carried all of their bags up to the house with the help of the van driver. Amber was bringing the dresses down with her and Marcus.

Jenny opened the door and almost dropped her purse, everything was exactly the way it was, the last time she saw it

Nodrog paid the van driver as Jenny slowly walked further into the little house. The two empty rocking chairs bringing tears to her eyes. She had never thought she would see them this way. The house lacked the usual busy sounds and smells that she always looked forward to. Even the lack of her father complaining or arguing was missing, not that she missed that part in the slightest. Her ears twitched searching for sounds that should be here.

The only thing out of place was a small wooden box sitting on the kitchen table. Jenny picked up the card addressed to her. It was in grandma's elegant hand writing, just telling her how much she loved Jenny and Alice. She turned as the old wood flooring creaked under Nodrog's weight. "I. I didn't think... it would be this hard." Jenny barely managed to say as she sank to the floor sobbing.

Carrel hurried over to Jenny and helped get her in a chair. There just was nothing any of them could say to ease her pain. Lucy had Nodrog take the things up to the bedrooms while she opened a few windows. Jenny sat at the table and looked at the little wood box, with a deep breath of the sea air Jenny pulled it close and opened it.

The small box held a few photographs of Jenny and her grandparents, a couple of silly trinkets from the only part of her childhood she never wanted to forget. And of all things, the necklace Mr. October had given her for her ninth birthday... She had thought her dad threw it away or she had lost it. Finally she remembered the man Marko had been back all of those years ago, and was glad he had not changed. Actually she felt a little bad for being afraid of him.

Jenny closed the little box and walked out onto the deck. There was no back yard, just a big wooden deck, then sand and ocean. For her, the buildings way out in the flooded city had always been there. When the house was built, it was not on ocean front property originally. A great deal of the coast looked like this, all over the world. The house was built on a lengthy hill, nearly eighty miles from the actual coast, well before the massive flooding.

"Are you alright?" Nodrog asked as he came out.

Jenny wiped the tears from her eyes. "I will be, it's just the first time they were not here waiting for me... Jim had waited for me for so long, I just figured they would be here like always."

Nodrog stretched, he was still sore from the cramped commercial flight down. "I know they meant a lot to you, but you know this time is different for another reason."

Jenny looked up at him as he leaned on the deck railing. "How so?"

"There is someone who cannot wait to walk through the front door and see you." Nodrog said with a smile.

"You meant to say us." Jenny said.

Nodrog shook his head. "No, because Alice is not marrying me, she is marrying you."

Jenny watched as he headed back into the house. She wanted to yell at him, but Carrel and Lucy were in the kitchen. She put a hand on the railing and turned back to look out at the drowned city. He had a point, even if it wasn't right... that part of their life was still a secret from most. She wanted to shout it to the world, but while the world was more accepting of some things, there were still taboos and things that were simply frowned upon. "Stupid rules..."

Nodrog helped Lucy tidy the little house up. He was the only one tall enough to dust certain spots and take care of the few spider webs and the spiders in them. Jenny and Carrel walked down the two blocks to a little mom and pop owned grocery store. The middle aged couple running it recognizing Jenny. They were sorry for her loss, but greatly relieved she had been given the house instead of her other family members. Which only reinforced why Jenny distanced herself from them.

The three women needed food and drinks to get them through the week. While they did not plan it that way, the wedding fell during spring break, so Lucy was already off. Carrel was mostly retired, so getting time off way easy. And since Nodrog could travel instantly, Marko was not concerned with him being gone.

Tuesday they met with the caterers to double check everything. Wednesday, a crew brought and set up the tent back on the beach. Thursday and Friday were last minute forgotten things and everyone else showing up.

"You look relieved." Ron said as he tossed a horse shoe.

Nodrog chuckled. "I am, they were starting to drive me nuts."

Sherman glanced around. "What about your surprise?"

"That will be close, but I got word today that it will happen." Nodrog said and tossed a ringer.

"Do we get to know about it?" Jim asked as he tallied the score.

"When it happens." Nodrog said with a smile. Thankful everything was in place and they could actually relax a little. Most of the ladies had gone off shopping, except Katie V. her due date was only two weeks out.

"Hey I can keep a secret." Katie said as she lay on a beach chair. Content to be off her feet and not working. She really wanted a drink, but was being good.

"It is not you, I am worried about." Nodrog said.

Katie laughed. "Good point."

Saturday most sat around and visited the morning away, they split up for lunch and to head to the hotel they were staying at to get ready.

Jenny sat as still as she could while Amber did her hair. Nodrog had removed her collar the night before. She felt odd without it, like something was missing. She was reluctant to put it on the first time, and was a little surprised when she did not want to take it off.

"You are allowed to breath." Amber teased.

"I know, I am so excited and nervous." Jenny said.

"Every girl is. However I am so glad you and Alice are not crazy brides... Okay, you are ready." Amber said and tidied up before Alice came in.

Jenny made her way down stairs and found a rather nervous Jim getting help with his tie from Carrel. "Well there she is." Jim said with a big smile.

"And how beautiful she is." Carrel said. She finished tying Jim's tie and gave Jenny a hug before heading outside.

Jim and Jenny walked to the kitchen and looked out the window, most everyone was getting seated. "I still can't tell you how happy I am to be doing this."

"I think I can imagine, since I can't tell you how glad I am you said you would." Jenny said.

Alice blushed as Stacy zipped up her dress. Jenny might be a little nervous. But Alice was rather calm. "I was expecting to be more nervous and excited."

"I think I am nervous enough for the two of us." Stacy said as they walked down the short hall to the room Amber was getting them ready in.

"Alice, lets get you ready first. Stacy's short hair will be a quick and easy affair." Amber said and Alice sat down in a chair.

Nodrog was waiting out front and smiled when the car pulled up. He walked over and opened the door. "Right on time." He said and held out his hand.

"Always a gentleman. I am a bit nervous myself, I have never sung at a wedding." Wednesday said as she got out of the car with his help.

"Well I have never played at one. I guess that makes us even." Nodrog lead her around the side of the house so Jenny and Alice would not see her.

"So that was his surprise." Sherman chuckled as Nodrog and Wednesday stood next to the small piano they had also rented.

"Wow, he really can pull some strings." Lucy said.

The preacher got everyone seated on time and with Amber now standing next to Marcus, they knew Alice and Stacy were ready as well.

Jim held out his arm. "It's finally time."

Jenny took his arm in hers. "Thanks, for everything."

With nearly eighty people attending it was a little bigger than the two had planned, Lucy insisted they invite everyone they knew. As Jenny walked down the aisle by Jim's side all of her nervousness went away. This was the first time they saw the dresses Jenny and Amber decided to make.

Since Alice's favorite color was red, Jenny was wearing a light red pastel dress. More of a simple sun dress then a wedding dress, it accented her athletic figure nicely and was cut modestly along the bust and fell just a little off her ankles. All the brides maids were in pastel yellows.

Jim was a little choked up as he said he was giving her hand in marriage. It was a day he thought he would never get to experience as a father. He stood next to Carrel who was starting to tear up with happiness.

Jenny only noticed Wednesday after she had stood next to Grace and Samantha. Nodrog had that single tooth smirk on his face as the doe anthro gave her a little wave. As he started to play the song for the ring bearer and flower girl Jenny looked back down the aisle and couldn't help but giggle.

Kenny's oldest, Mike was carrying their rings, and the look of absolute determination on his face to not mess up was comical. Very few could stop from letting out a little chuckle or laugh as he carefully marched past, taking it very seriously. Jenny had asked him to do it, and he wanted to do it right for her. Since aside from his mom and dad, Jenny and Alice were the greatest people in his whole world.

Randy's heart about stopped as Stacy followed the comical little guy closely. A pink flowered crown sat lightly on her head. Stacy's dress was the only one not a single color, the top was the same light red as Jenny's but the bottom was a light green. Making the flower girl, look very much like a flower. And to Randy, she was the prettiest little thing he ever had seen.

Nodrog played a few soft notes and Wednesday softly joined him singing Amazing Grace as Alice and Ron came around the corner and entered the tent. Jenny covered her mouth as she saw Alice, the flood of emotions she felt the birthday Alice burnt the cake and first put her arms around her; came back just as strongly. The rest of the world didn't matter anymore as she watched Alice. Her Alice, the first person Jenny had ever really loved.

Jenny could tell Alice as usual, was a little nervous about all of the attention she was getting. Alice had several colors of flowers in her hair and that innocent, nervous smile on her lips. The same smile she always had when Jenny told her how pretty she was, or how great at something she was. The same little smile that showed just before Alice laughed, and the one that always held Jenny captive.

Jenny mouthed 'I love you' to Alice as she stood across from her and the preacher started the ceremony. They each picked a prayer and a quote to be read, otherwise it was a simple ceremony. They all giggled as Mike still taking his job very serious, held out the pillow with the rings that Carrel had sewed on, just in case, when the preacher asked for them.

As they said 'I do' Lucy and Carrel both started crying in motherly fashion. And while they might deny it later, Jim and Ron were fairly choked up at the time. Due to the nature of some, there was very loud cheering, clapping and whistling when they turned to be officially announced as a married couple.

The hardest part of the whole thing, was not kissing Alice to long when Jenny was told she could. Pictures were quickly taken care of as Marcus and Amber insisted they would get better ones as the day went on.

Nodrog and Wednesday still had one other little surprise, since he could read Jenny's mind, he found out what her favorite song by Wednesday was. The two were going to perform that song for Alice and Jenny's first dance. Which gave them the best picture of the wedding. Alice and Jenny dancing, their foreheads almost touching and both with smiles on their faces.

Wednesday sat the microphone down after she turned it off. Alice and Jenny both getting a chance to dance with their fathers. "I want to thank you for asking me to come and sing for them."

Nodrog smiled. "I am so glad you could, I know it meant a lot to them."

"Watching the two of them, that's why I write the music I do. It is so pure and genuine... I might have an idea for another song." Wednesday said with a smile.

They both turned as they heard a car honk. "That time all ready." Wednesday reached into her bag and pulled out an envelope as she spoke. She handed it to Nodrog. "These are two tickets to my concert later in the year, front row seats, backstage, the works. Give it to them for me."

"Of course, and thanks again." Nodrog said. As she hurried off to be rushed off to the next thing she had to do. Nodrog smiled to himself and placed the envelope in the house with all the other gifts.

Stacy was quickly snatched up by Randy to join Alice and Jenny on the deck to dance. Sherman managed to make one full song without stepping on Samantha's feet... He still looked like an uncoordinated fool, but he tried. Which also created a few good pictures. Jenny and Alice both picked Mike up to dance with him. Praising him on a job well done.

They ate a fair sized meal, and cut into the cakes. Making Jenny's list of best photo's of the night was the look on Randy and Stacy's face; after Randy caught the garter and Stacy the bouquet. Most stayed up rather late, with a few calling it an early night.

Jenny had her arms around Alice as they lay in bed. "Alice, I love you so much."
