Just a li'l gift for FA: geckonori ! Enjoy. c:

"Three.. Two.. One..! Ready or not, here I come!" A mustard colored Kirin giggled out. He slowly turned around, no longer facing the white wall of his kitchen. His sapphire blue and emerald green eyes scanned the dining room, looking for a distinct white and purple bat, who had (reluctantly) agreed to play hide and seek with him. It was clear that the little Pygmy bat had not wanted to partake in the game, but the promise of freedom was too precious for him to turn down.

"Ah.. I love playing with my test subjects.." Geno blissfully sighed out, as he began to search for the bat. He decided that he would first search the immediate area, since such a small creature would not get very far. The Kirin peeked inside cabinets, drawers, and even inside his refrigerator, just in case his test subject somehow managed to slip into it. It was a silly place to look, but Geno couldn't risk losing such a rare species of bat.

...

Nox wriggled further down into the cookie jar, making sure that his obvious colors were hidden by the soft brown of the chocolate chip cookies, each of which easily covered the three-inch bat. The sweet scent of chocolate invaded his sensitive nostrils and heavily tempted him to eat a piece of one. It was difficult to resist eating, when he'd been kept on a liquid diet, for the sake of "science", as the Kirin had delicately put it. All of a sudden, Nox stiffened, and squeezed his eyes shut even tighter. For a moment, he thought he heard Geno's footsteps approaching the plastic cookie jar. "Okay.. Calm down, Noxxy. Just an hour to go.." The bat whispered to himself, in a shaky voice. He knew all too well what would happen if he was caught. After, he'd seen what Geno did to his other test subjects.

...

Geno wandered back out of his small lab, and frowned. "Where could he have gone?" He murmured, strolling back into the kitchen. He leaned against a marble counter and drummed his fingers along the speckled surface. He frowned and stared off into his living room, in thought. If not for a faint wiggle from inside the cookie jar, Geno would've never guessed that the bat had hidden there. A cruel grin spread across his muzzle, as he reached towards the jar. ...

Nox shifted, getting his wing into a more comfortable position; it was previously pinned beneath a cookie, with his circulation cut off. Once his wing was tugged out from under the cookie, he carefully let it drape across his chest, keeping it close to his body. Unfortunately, moving in such a manner, caused one of the cookies to shift and wiggle. Nox's face drained of color when he heard the sound of the jar popping off.

...

"All this searching is so draining. I'm starving!" Geno loudly stated, resisting the urge to giggle. The Kirin popped the lid right off of Nox's hiding place, and reached in. He prodded around with his fingers, until the tip of one jabbed into something warm and fuzzy, and squeaky. The squeaky 'object' was promptly snatched up between two fingers, and brought out of the jar.

"Oh, Noxxy." Geno sighed out, holding Nox by a wing. The scientist leaned closer, bringing his muzzle close to the little bat. He exhaled, warm air washing over the little winged rat's body. "You're pathetic. Did you really think that a cookie jar would keep you from me? Well.. If you're going to pretend to be a cookie, I'm going to treat you like any other cookie." Geno grinned and raised raised his hand far above his head, dangling the bat in place. Without another word, he released the poor creature, and watched as Nox plummeted down into his open muzzle..

As soon as Nox landed in his mouth, Geno snapped his jaws shut. He used his tongue to push the bat into a cheek pocket, and then proceeded to idly suck on his test subject. "Mmhr.. Well, the cookie jar wasn't such a bad idea after all. You taste great!" Geno exclaimed. He snickered and rubbed at his cheek with a finger, pinning the bat between his cheek and tongue.

"G-geno!" Nox squealed out, pushing at the Kirin's cheek pouch. "P-please..!" The bat squirmed as much as he could, in an attempt to wiggle away from Geno's oppressing tongue. Each of his squirms, however, were met with increased strength from the tongue.

"Oh, shut up, don't be such a sore loser.. The least you could do is stay still and accept the fact that you lost." Geno rolled his eyes, speaking with the bat in his mouth. Each time his mouth moved, Nox was rubbed against the Kirin's slick cheek, effectively forcing him to stay silent while Geno spoke. Geno, quite pleased with the bat's muffled whines, cleared his throat and continued. "It's not like this is your fault, anyway. I was still gettin' rid of you today, since you're pretty much useless to me. You hardly show as much of a response as you initially did, and that just won't do."

"I-I can be more responsive, I swear!" The bat sputtered out, from around the Kirin's flesh. "P-please, I.. I've learned my lesson!" He pleaded and begged, using every ounce of his little spirit, in an attempt to convince the Kirin to spare him.

Geno used his tongue to maneuver the squirming bat onto a molar, and kept him sprawled over the hard tooth. The scientist cleared his throat, and spoke again. "Why don't you go ahead and beg? Maybe I'll let you live." He grinned, his mouth already watering at the thought of chomping down on the tasty little bat.

"G-geno, -please-.. I've tried my best to be a good test subject! I've never disobeyed you, or resisted you! Please..! Just give me another chance, I promise I'll pro-!" Nox's begging was cut short, as a row of teeth chomped down and pierced his chest, smashing through ribs and organs, creating a row of gaping holes in his body. A sharp shriek accompanied the bite.

Geno hummed quietly as he casually leaned against the against the counter, muffled crunches and squelches coming from his closed muzzle. Occasionally, a thin trail of blood would dribble out from the corner of his muzzle, but he'd simply lick it up and continue to chew up the bat, as if he was nothing more than a lump of meat. By now, though, he probably was.

The chewing had been much more painful for Nox than he thought possible. Razor-sharp teeth rhythmically stabbed into his belly and chest, crushing organs and turning his stomach into a pulpy mess of meat. Soon enough, he was positioned vertically along the Kirin's molars. Even in his ruined state, he knew that just one bite in this position would crush him altogether. The poor bat weakly raised a torn wing, covering his little face.

Geno grinned, and chomped down hard. A sickening crunch, squelch, then pop came from the little creature in his maw. Nox was dead by now, Geno was sure of it. Still, there was much more flavor to extract from the little lump of meat once called Nox. The Kirin continued to chew Nox out of existence, until he was just a little clump of ground meat and bones. The chewed mess of organs, bones, and flesh, was promptly swallowed, and Geno cheerfully waltzed out of the room, soon forgetting about the little bat. After all, he had important science to do.
