"How is the subject coming along?" A dark shadowy figure asks. "Good so far the drug is enhancing all of his skills making him fast, stronger, smarter and his reflexes are becoming amazing. We believe that when the drug wears off he will slip into a coma though. The Sleipnir has still not worn off yet and we are not sure when it will. Law enforcement has yet to catch up with him." They say looking at one another other. "Only time will tell what happens when, he chose to take the drug he knew the consequences." The other says.
Fire! A car crashed! Someone is screaming. There is a screeching sound in the background. My eyes slowly open to observe sterile white walls there is lots of "beeping" noises. Something has been shoved down my mouth. There is a lot of running feet. "Calm down you will be Alright." Someone says looking at me. I flinch and moan as they start pulling out needles and other odds and ends....
"How do you feel?" Someone asks as they walk into the room. "Fine." The other says while sitting up, "I have something that we need you to look at." The other person says putting a folder in front of the one sitting on? The bed. "What am I looking at?" He asks as they continue to leaf throughout the contents of the folder." This is what happened before the crash." They say. "None of this happened!" He says. "Are you sure?" The nurse says. "Yes I am!" He says. "It will be okay, maybe you will remember something a little later." The nurse says states as she leaves the room.
I bolt up in bed; "This is a different room." I mutter to myself. Everyone keeps calling me "George since I look like one" I do not understand what they mean. As I close, my eyes, there is a slightly dim flash. "Hey!" someone shouts. "Behind you!" They shout loudly. I turn around There is a fox sanding about five foot three. "Who are you?" I exclaim. "Well that hurts." They say. They cross their arms across their chest. "Maybe to much magic?" They mumble quietly. "I have absolutely no clue what you are talking about." I say. "You really don't know who I am?" They ask incredulously looking at me. "Should I?" I ask looking at her. She nods. "Oh. I'm sorry." I say. "You look like a human." She says. "I am." I say. She shakes her head. "You are not." She says calmly. "You are a fox. A fox who is very confused right now." She says. There is a flash.
Odd dream." I mutter to myself. I am back in the other room that I was in earlier. Looking around I stagger to my feet. "George how do you feel?" a nurse asks. "Good." I say looking at her. "So can you answer a Question for me then?" They ask. I surge my shoulders. "Why do you look so confused?" They ask. "I am not confused." I say calmly. "Okay than why don't you walk with me for a little while?" "Sure." I say following after her. "So did you remember anything?" The nurse asks. "Not really." I say. "Don't worry you will sooner or later." She says. As we walk down the hall I, get this flash of the fox again. "Come on let's get a move on!" she shouts at me. I chase after her. She turns around a corner. I push past two nurses who shout at me to "stop!" I keep running. I run in to a room someone asks: "Are you aware of what is going on around you?" "What do you mean?" I ask. "Everything that is going on is an illusion you just do not know it yet." They say. "I don't understand." I say. "This is nothing more than a test for a drug." They say. "Yes I know that." I say. "How well are you sure of that statement?" She asks. "What do you mean?" I ask. "That drug does more than what you think." She says. "You are making no sense." I say calmly as everything goes black.
"You really should not run full tilt down the hospital halls. Someone might think that you are crazy." A nurse says walking over to edge of the bed. I try to sit up. "Why can't I sit up?" I ask struggling. "Oh we put you in restraints." They say calmly. "Why?" I shout. "Because you are considered a threat." They say. "Why am I considered a threat?" I say calmly. "The three orderlies you knocked out may be why!" She says. "I did nothing!" I say calmly. "Oh but you did you may not remember it?" They say.
The fox walks into the room "They can not see that you can see me silly." She says. "Why can't they see you?" I Shout. "You and I are from the same place silly." she says as everything fades out.
