Maw Of The Masterbal
I hope i did a good job.... I need new inspiration. Maybe if enough of you like it i will continue.
There is a backstory to this. I am too lazy to type it out, so maybe when i am less lazy i will.
I tackled him in our usual playful manner. Then a dark shadow slowly crept over us. I turned around and before I could attack this hostile being, I was lifted into the air by a purple cloud of suffocating smoke that was making me very sleepy. "Espy, No!" My crush screamed. My eyes filled with tears as I was lowered into a purple ball. Will I ever see him again? I thought. Then, with a sudden whoosh and a sharp pain, I fell to the cold rocky floor and hit my head with a thud on a strange colored stone. My eyes opened slightly in hopes to see Ember fighting off the monster, only to see my friend lowered quickly into the maw of a Masterball. Then I saw no more.
I awoke to the sound of footsteps. "O quae est in vigilia," I heard over to my left. I immedietly recognised the language as Latin, and jumped up at the sudden voice, only to hit my head. "EI!" I squeaked in latin. (Check google translate if you dont know latin.) "O, tibi amet?" He answered back. (Im going to make it easier for you and just translate. Translation: Oh she is awake, OW, Oh are you ok?) "Just fine." I grumbled. "Oh you speak english too? I always thought you spoke latin." He answered, tone full of curiousity. "My race invented latin," I answered back with added emphisus on the word Latin. "but i can see how you were confused. I'm glad to see that the language that we so loved is still spoken today." I looked at my surroundings for a moment, then i was struck by alarm. Where was Ember and where could he be? Ok, i thought, im in a anti-magic glass box with no other evil people but a nice teen of some sort. A glass box is still a glass box, and by all means, glass is very breakable. I felt around the box for the smallest hole or line in case there was a door of some sort. When i could not find a single dent in the box, I rammed as hard as i could at the side of it. "You really dont want to do that, you could hurt yourself," He said without moving his head. "Well, could you help me the slightest by helping me find my friend? Where is he?" "Where your about to be" A dark voice said off to my right. I caught a glimpse of a purple sphere, and darkness yet again came upon me.
When i woke i was thrown out into the grass next to another Esper. His fur light green, while mine Light violet. The one thing that really set us apart was that he had a scar, and not just any old scar, it was a claw mark that went all the way over his eye. I took a step back and was pushed from behind to face the horrifying creature! I gulped and took a step back to get my footing so i could use my magic to defeat this foe. Thats when i found that i had no magic. I was an eevee. While to regular eevees this was a small thing, to me it was devastating. Why it was so devistating would be in fact that i am no regular eevee. I am a Shifter Drake. (Shifter Drakes are well... there is only me. You must be born of both Dragon and demon as well as fall in love with a necromancer and get your heart broken by that same necromancer to even grasp what you have to have gone through to become one. My life is of pain and sorrow, as you can tell so far. That is why it is so great that the story is no where near over.) Being an eevee made it so i am mortal and not a shifter drake anymore. I tried to run from the beast, but it picked me up in its mouth using my scruff and carried me off to a similar eevee, but this eevee was almost bigger than me and looked sickly. I picked it up and cradled the eevee in my arms, only hoping for some miracle to save us both. Why must i save the other one, you ask? It is because he is no random stranger, he is Ember. As i cradled Ember and sang a soft song to him, he fell asleep. I wandered off to a corner of the woods that looked safe, and curled up around him to sleep.
