Link and Malon

•PROLOGUE

Place: Lon Lon Ranch

Time: Sundown

(Thoughts were running through his head, everything was spinning, could he really have feelings or her)

Links Head- Wow, the moonlight makes her look even more beautiful in the

Malon turns around seeing Link, and a big smile appeared on her face

Malon- Oh, it's you Link. I haven't seen you here in a while. *waves* How have you been?

Link, still quaking in his boots- I've be great Malon, how 'bout you?

Malon-I've been great, ever since you beat Ganon, things have been very peaceful around here. Papa even let's me leave the ranch without someone to protect me now, thanks.

Link- No problem

Malon- So, why are you here, anyway?

Link- Oh yeah! I came here to give you this.

He pulls out a Blood-Stained Rose, a rare red and white flower known to be found near the top of Death Mountain.

Link- I heard you really liked flowers, and I saw this one when I left the Fire Temple, so I thought you might like it.

Malon, shocked- Wow, a Blood-Stained Rose, this is a super rare flower! Thank you Link. *hugs Link*

Link, now blushing again, hugs her back.

Link- Why don't we plant this? So it can keep on growing.

Malon- That's a great idea, and I know the perfect place to plant it.

She runs to the Mill

Malon- Dad finally fixed the ladder to the second story, so we now have an empty room, and now I know what I'm going to do with this place.

Link- And what is that?

Malon- A happy place, and the first thing will be this rose, so every time I come in here, it'll remind me of you.

She walks over to Link, leans in, and kisses his cheek.

Malon- Thanks, Link

She leaves the Mill and goes back to tend Epona

Link, just standing motionless, slowly starts to smile.

Then, he too, leaves the Mill to help Malon.
