"I love you."
Those simple word where spoken,I knew they meant so much more though. I also knew that I was confused even more. Having experienced shown love from not just one,but two gods in different ways. I froze up,I stalled and hesitated. I had no words. Arceus had openly confessed her love for me and I was speechless. I stared at the ground not knowing what to do.
I had always dreamed up that I would know what to say in a situation like this,I had even experienced this with Giratina and still didn't know what to say. I just stared at the ground. I felt so lost. Did I say I loved her back? Did I deny her? What would I do?
"He doesn't love you."I heard automatically knowing who said it"He loves me."
Giratina stood there,she had a look of slight anger on her face. Arceus stood and confronted her. They both seemed to stand like that for a few seconds staring each other down."Hmph And here you are trying to steal my love,two words for you,He's mine!"
"_It is his decision who he loves."_Arceus said back
"And he loves me!"
Arceus seemed to sigh and that only pissed of Giratina more,all the while I just sat there and watched to scared to step in."I will not deny that he loves you,but it is..."
"Shut up Arceus,I wont let you take him from me!"
"Im not trying too..."
"BULLSHIT!"
"GIRATINA STOP THIS!"
"NO IM TIRED OF YOU TAKING THINGS FROM ME,FIRST MY FREEDOM,THEN MY HAPPINESS,NOW THIS!"Giratina yelled
"I HAVE NEVER TAKEN ANYTHING FROM YOU!"Arceus shot back
"OH YEA THEN HOW COME YOU BANISHED ME?! HOW COME YOU MADE ME SIT IN THAT HELL HOLE YOU CALLED A WORLD?! AND NOW WHY DO YOU DENY ME MY LOVE?!"
I could feel tears coming to my eyes,and tried to hold back. They constantly argued back and forth between things. Giratina trying to keep Arceus from loving me and Arceus trying to say it was my choice. I don't know what happened next all I could hear was the enraged voices of the two gods. Right before my eyes they both argued it out and then the next thing I knew there was a bright flash of light and I was thrown from my sitting position and flung further than my room allowed. I hit the ground and was lucky enough to not get hurt as bad is I could have.
I opened my eyes after a few seconds and realized I was in the main hall now. Though the legendaries where all watching me and seconds later their eyes turned to a new sight. Giratina was in her normal form standing nearly fifteen feet high and Arceus was also in her regular form. They stared off for a few seconds before they both started. The other legendaries backed off knowing what was happening and they dared not step in.
They both launched their attacks at the same time,Both firing powerful beams of light that collided in the center causing a huge explosion that rocked the ground. Many of the others,who where in human form,fell to the ground as well as their guardians. I just covered my ears and closed my eyes.
I could feel another attack collide but this time I heard the yells of both legendaries as they where both hit. This continued on and on but I kept my eyes closed and tried to stifle a scream. It felt long as the two battled it out. I opened my eyes and saw nothing but destruction. The others had long since fled from the scene leaving only the two and I.
I watched as they both fought Giratina launching powerful shadowballs and Arceus beams of light aimed at each other. Then in a last effort they both let out a powerful hyperbeam aimed to kill.
I didn't know what happened,The next thing I saw was the two beams hit each of them. I saw red. And I let out a scream. It was then that I started crying harder than I had ever done before. I felt helpless. I cried and cried and cried. Then I finally felt a sets of hands grab me and I was pulled close to someone. I cried into whoever was holding me. IT was a long while before I stopped.
When I finally gained the courage to see who had grabbed me,I realized it wasn't either Giratina or Arceus. IT was Giratina's Guardian. She had a look of sadness on her face and was whispering something to me,but they where lost on deaf ears. Then as I felt new tears wet my face I felt Something. It was hard to explain,but the next thing I knew there was a brilliant light that blinded me,and I blacked out.
When I woke,I felt like I was floating. I felt like nothing mattered and that everything was right in the world. Then it came back,the argument and the fight. I almost started crying again,but one look to the sides revealed that both Arceus and Giratina where curled up next to me in their anthro forms. They where asleep.
I looked around a noticed I was in my room,in my bed. I looked around but no one else was in the room. I was still dressed in my robes so I quietly crawled out of the bed and out the bedroom without further thought. I felt like I should have been crying,but I didn't. I made my way slowly to the main hall.
IT wasn't hard to miss. With burn areas and massive damage to the area,it was hard to miss for miles. Several most of the legendaries where around helping clean the mess as well as their guardians. When I entered though many stopped and looked at me for a few seconds before resuming.
"Are you OK?"I heard from behind me. I turned and saw Giratina's guardian standing there. She wore her usual robes but instead of the look of anger or hatred,it was one of sorrow and sympathy.
"I,I don't know. I saw them,I saw them die. I don;t know what to think,i just woke up. And,And they where right there,next to me. What happened?"I asked
"I don't know,one second they where fighting,the next you where crying and then all I saw was a white light and both of them where unconscious as well as you next to each other. You all seemed to have no injuries but the hall itself told otherwise."
I looked down at the ground."So,so they are OK."
"Yes they have been sleeping for a while though in fact you are the first to awaken. I only hope they do not fight even more when they awaken."
I nodded,now I wanted to get back to my room and make sure that didn't happen. I turned and started walking back,but was nearly instantly stopped.
"Hey,I know we haven't gotten off at the right foot,but I want to say im sorry. But please,if you wish to pursue a relationship with them make sure that they are both happy. I know the one thing they want is you. Also we all care about Both of them and we don't want to see them go,so please,try and mend their relationship."
I nodded,this got a small smile from her. I didn't stick around though. I made my way past her and back to my room. Some other legendaries and their guardians where in the halls,but I didn't bother to take note of who they where. When I finally got back to my room I stood in front of the door and hesitated. I didn't know how I was going to be able to get them to get along,or know if they would outright attack when they got up. I sighed and pushed open the door.
Both Arceus and Giratina where still asleep. I was lucky,for now. I didn't know who to wake first,and I certainly did not want to give them a rude awakening. But eventually I decided to deal with the harder threat first. I walked over to Giratina. She slept peacefully but I was scared she would hurt me or Arceus. I abandoned any other thoughts and put my hand on her shoulder and gave a small shake.
She gave a small sigh and slowly opened her eyes. At first she seemed confused,then she seemed a little surprised and finally she spotted me and gave a wide smile."Aww my mate has woken me,and I was having such pleasant dreams. Wait,Why are we in your room? Why..."
She went wide eyed with shock."THAT BITCH!" I cringed but still stood at her side. She quickly sat up and stood facing me. She was angry and that was what made me scared."WHERE IS SHE!?"
"Giratina..."
Giratina turned,Arceus was sitting there on the edge of my bed. Before anything else Giratina prepared an attack and Arceus seemed to prepare for a counter. But right before they could do anything I stepped in.
"Please stop...I don't want to see either of you hurt,please."I said.They turned to me,stopping their attacks."Please,i don't want to see more fighting between you two,I just want us to be happy."
Giratina sighed."And why should I? I won't let Arceus take you from me. I won't let her stop me from loving you and being with you."
"Giratina,I want to be with you,I,I love you too. But you have to understand,i love Arceus as well,I want to be with both of you,i don't think I could live without the other,and I just want us to be happy,together."
Giratina closed her eyes and sighed."Giratina,I,Im sorry I never wanted to take him from you,but I do love him and maybe we can both love him."
Giratina turned and looked at Arceus. At first I thought she was going to attack,but she surprised me."Fine,Im sorry too." I smiled. "Thank y..."I was stopped abruptly when Giratina turned and kissed me. I was startled at this and soon she was pulling me closer to her. She stopped and looked at me lovingly."Anything for you."
Giratina let go,and I blushed. Though before I could move I was hugged from behind by Arceus."I leaned into the hug. I heard a small bit of dark laughter. I turned to Giratina again. "Maybe we can spend some time together? Im sure Arceus would want to,wouldn't you Arcy."
"_What are you proposing?"_Arceus said
"Oh nothing,just this and that,and maybe some quality time with Blake here,say just in this room,specifically in the bed."
"I quite would like that Idea."
"Come here Blake."
