#3 of Crossover #1

Here's part 1 of my crossover series between my two characters, Jason the lucario and Brandon the dragon. If you've read the preview i posted before, you should know what would happen next. BTW, adult because of the violence (if violence isn't under the category of adult, please correct me)

NOTE: I won't be spoiling events in the info of my stories anymore, you'll just have to look at the tags and guess for yourself.

ADDITIONAL NOTE: Don't base Brandon off of the first series I made in the past. Although Allen and Tristan are people Brandon really met in his true story, the scenery isn't modern or in a college. If you have any questions (I'm sure some of you do), don't be afraid to PM me. I'll be glad to answer and questions that pop up in your heads.

CHARACTERS:

Jason: Lucario (Pokemon character)

Aiden: Blaziken (Jason's father)

Lucius: Luxray (Jason's enemy)

Nidoking: Nidoking (Lucius's partner in crime)

"Jason..." a stern male voice called out from his sleep. "Jason, wake up." The male shook the Lucario out of his sleep and snapped him out of his daze.

Jason's vision was blurred but he could make out the figure of a Blaziken, his father, standing over him. "Dad..." Jason stretched and yawned. "What's going on?"

A loud explosion from the outside answered Jason's question as the shockwave knocked him out of his bed and onto the hard wooden floor with a loud thud. "That's going on." Aiden answered, the male Blaziken spoke as he strapped on his bracers preparing for combat. "Get dressed," he commanded as he gave Jason a pack containing his vest, bracers, shoulder guards and shin guards. "this ends here and now."

Jason's eyes lit with anger at the thought. "He's leading this assault, Lucius?" Jason asked, confirming if his target will be on the battlefield.

Aiden nodded with a grim expression. "I've left this issue alone for a long time now. And because of that, he's given you much pain and torment..."

"There's no need for that, dad." Jason strapped on his shin guards and fitted his bracers. "It's not your fault... it's nobody's fault other than his." Jason stood up, put on his vest and fixed his shoulder guards. "Besides, he's given you much torment as well. I believe it's time we teach him a lesson."

Aiden nodded in agreement as he clenched his fists with anticipation. "Well then, let's not keep him waiting."

"Hold on, let me go get my weapons first." Jason walked toward his cabinet and opened it, revealing an array of clothing. Jason reached in the cabinet and pushed on the false back wall revealing a secret compartment where two sabres, two 45 calibre pistols, a pouch of extra magazines for easy reloading and his "lucky" pugio are contained.

He held the bronze dagger in his hand, staring at it as a wave of nostalgia washed over him. He remembered the day he got the dagger from Damion. Honestly, he nearly peed his pants when Damion burst through the door flaunting the dagger in the air like a psycho back when they were kids.

"Jason, Jason!" the Zigzagoon called out with glee, unable to contain his excitement. "Look what I got!"

"Dude, you nearly scared the pee out of me!" Jason leaped from his chair in surprise and stared at Damion in bewilderment.

"Sorry, it's just that my dad gave me this nifty dagger!" Damion waved the bronze pugio in front of Jason's face, the shiny dagger reflecting the light of the morning sun into Jason's eyes blinding him a little.

"Damion, careful with that." Jason gripped Damion's wrist in an attempt to contain the excited creature. "That's a real dagger is it not? You could cut someone or hurt yourself."

Damion let out a big sigh as all of his excitement was drained. "I know, I know... it's just that I thought maybe you'd like it."

Jason stared at Damion in surprise. "But I thought your dad gave that to you."

Damion rubbed the back of his head in discomfort. "He did... but I don't really fancy the knife much, let alone a dagger."

"Right... you preferred the original way of fighting..." Jason mumbled as he remembered Damion's words: _I don't really see a reason for pokemon to learn how to use weapons or different forms of martial arts. Pokemon are born with the ability to fight for themselves in their own special way, I think I'd like to stick with that._Because of those words, Jason admired how determined Damion was. No matter how goofy or childish Damion acted, he still somehow had some wisdom inside him.

"Besides, I don't like killing people." Damion continued, staring at his hands deep in thought. "If I use my pokemon moves, no matter how hard I hit them all I'll do is incapacitate them. Pokemon can't kill other pokemon as easily as a weapon can so... you get the picture. Well, would you want to keep this dagger?" Damion held out the dagger offering it to Jason.

"Well, it IS beautiful..." Jason took the dagger and gave it a few tries. He gripped the dagger with and swung it around, getting the feel of the new weapon. When he was satisfied, he stopped and turned his attention towards his friend. "You sure you don't want it?"

"As sure as I am a Zigzagoon." Damion answered. "Besides, it seems to suit you more than it will to me."

Jason smiled and nodded. "Thanks for the gift then." Ever since then, Jason has always used the dagger in every one of his battles.

He sheathed the two sabres and strapped them to his belt, he holstered the two pistols and strapped them to his thighs and he strapped the pugio by his left ankle. "Okay, I'm ready."

Aiden stared at Jason in surprise and concern. "How long have you had that secret compartment?"

"A few months since Sarah moved to Avalon." Jason answered, unsheathing his sabre and swinging it in the air to test if he was still used to the feel of the blade. Jason held the sabre with an icepick grip due to his mannerism of wielding the dagger. Although that isn't the standard grip for wielding a long blade, Jason somehow manages to fight just as capable as most experts can with the standard hammer grip.

"Are there anything else that you've been hiding from me?" Aiden asked.

"None that I'm aware of..." Jason answered as he sheathed the blade. "And none that are important in any way."

"I'll let this slide for now," Aiden walked hastily towards the window and peeked outside. "we must move now or we'll miss our opportunity."

"He wants us to find him, you know." Jason joined his father's side as the two surveyed the scene through the dusty window. "He'll be expecting us." Jason gripped the hilt of his sabre in anticipation.

"But you're not afraid?" Aiden asked, placing his hand on Jason's shoulder in a gesture of support. "You want him to find you, that's why you took the scenic route on your return from Japan."

"Hmph." Jason grunted as we made his way towards the door. "Let's not keep him waiting."

"Get down!" Aiden yelled as he tackled Jason to the ground, an explosion decimating almost half of Jason's room. The two scrambled through the room and made their way through the broken door and hurried downstairs.

"Son of a fuck!" Jason cursed as he unsheathed both of his sabres and gritting his teeth in anger.

"Come on!" Aiden ran forward as Jason followed. "it's not safe staying in one place!"

The two ran outside their house just as the northern half collapsed into rubble. The two mumbled their own share of curses as they ran through the rubble of the city as the bandit raid grew more severe in intensity.

"What the fuck?" Jason made his way through the maze of rubble with his dad and paused to survey the damage. "How do bandits and rogues get this much firepower, fire power enough to level an entire military city?"

"Lucius has his ways..." Aiden answered. "he's a cunning one, always so tactical and strategic... he has the talent to make cities fall just through tactical warfare... if only he could put that talent to good use."

Jason stared at his dad with concern in his eyes. He knew that Lucius was his dad's former partner and friend, Jason's concern was that his dad wouldn't get himself to kill Lucius. He knew it was up to him to end the Luxray's life, his dad musn't bear that kind of pain in his heart. "Sarah... are you still with me?" Jason mumbled under his breath calling for his dead girlfriend.

"Never left your side, not even for a second." Sarah's voice echoed inside Jason's mind. "What do you need?"

"I need your help, I can't do this alone." Jason answered.

"But you're not alone." Sarah replied as she placed her hand on Jason's shoulder giving Jason a cold yet comforting sensation. "you have your father with you, and he'll need you through this one as well."

"Then keep us safe, I've lost so much already... I don't want to lose my father as well." Jason was getting nervous and desperate, drops of tears began to roll down his eyes at the thought of losing his dad.

"I'll do what I can." Sarah softly replied. "At best, I can transfer a little of your aura to form a protective shell around your father but that's all I can give."

"Thanks..." Jason turned to his dad and approached him. "Dad... are you alright?"

Aiden seemed to be deep in thought as Jason's question seemed to startle him. "Hm? Oh, yeah... I'm alright. C'mon, let's get moving."

The two maneuvered through mobs of pokemon, both friend and foe, but stopped at nothing to reach the treacherous Luxray. Jason wielded both of his sabres, cutting down the rogues that stood in his path without mercy, while his father followed behind doing mostly nothing but avoid the occasional flying carcass. Pretty soon, the two of them found Lucius and his new Nidoking friend fighting inside a crowd of Avalon's elite guards down the gorge.

"Well, there he is." Aiden mumbled through gasped breaths. "How do you plan on approaching?"

Jason stared down the gorge and tried to give it some thought. "Um... Sarah, got any ideas?"

"Well, you could start by making sure that you two don't get killed." Sarah suggested as some force urged Jason to turn to his left revealing a squad of rogues running towards the two of them.

"Dad, you ready for another round of fighting?" Jason snickered as he unsheathed his blades.

"Son, you've been the only one between the two of us that has been fighting." Aiden clenched his fist causing his knuckles to make a crackling noise. "If anything, I have the energy to keep fighting."

The minutes went by as the two slashed, kicked, punched and defeated several rogues. Jason sheathed his sabres in the middle of the fight and switched to his pistols and started shooting down as much rogues as his guns can. Soon, Jason ran out of bullets and felt too lazy to reload so he sheathed his guns and began fighting in hand-to-hand combat with a hint of pokemon moves. Flames enveloped Jason's fists and feet as he harassed his enemies with a combination of fire punch and blaze kick just as his dad was doing by his side.

"I gotta say son, I'm impressed you're learning to control your fire abilities!" His dad cried out as he sent a rogue flying with sky uppercut. "Following after your dad's footsteps?"

"As much as it hurts to say it, the only reason I'm using my fire abilities is to increase the damage of my fighting abilities." Jason answered as he snapped a rogue's neck. "I've never really thought about following in your footsteps whenever I train... sorry."

Aiden let out a weak chuckle. "Well, what about now, thinking of making me proud?"

"Not..." Jason's sentence was cut off as a rogue slashed his sword with the intent to kill Jason. Jason ducked down to dodge the blade and shattered the attacker's jaw with a sky uppercut. "Not at the moment. I'm too busy fighting off..." Jason turned and shot a rogue with a powerful aura sphere. "...these guys."

"Jason, Lucius is escaping!" Sarah's voice echoed inside Jason's head.

Jason quickly turned to see what Sarah meant and immediately got his answer. "They're headed for the cliff!" Jason exclaimed as he chased after Lucius and his Nidoking buddy.

"Jason, wait, we must take them on together!" Aiden cried out as he slammed his foot down his enemy's head, crushing his skull.

"Then hurry up!" Jason yelled, avoiding the enemies that tried to get in his way and cutting down those who didn't move out of the way. "They're getting away!"

"Not on my watch." Aiden leaped forward, kicking off of the ground with his strong legs and covered a great distance with one jump. Soon, Jason and Aiden were now running side by side chasing after the same target.

Jason's ears flickered as a familiar sensation in the atmosphere coursed through his fur. "Get down!" Jason tackled his father to the ground and surrounded them both with a strong defensive shell of his aura just in time to shield them from the large bolt of lightning that fell from the sky.

"Well, it seems that our young Lucario knows when and where my attacks will land." Lucius chuckled menacingly atop a bolder, a large Nidoking stood at the foot of the stone eyeing the father and son with evil intent.

"Lucius..." Jason growled and grit his teeth as anger boiled within. He clenched his fists around the handles of his sabres and charged for the Luxray at full speed. The Nidoking positioned himself in Jason's way and charged towards the Lucario. "Don't you dare get in my way!" Jason slashed with his swords but the Nidoking only parried them with his hands, the large pokemon doesn't seem to be affected by Jason's blades. "What the..."

A grin crept across the Nidoking's face as he effortlessly swatted Jason away with his powerful arms. "Your pathetic steel is no match for a pokemon of my caliber!" The Nidoking roared with pride as he charged after Jason.

"Jason!" Aiden cried out as he raced after his son only to be stopped by a bolt of lightning that dropped from the sky.

"Hold up Aiden..." Lucius purred with delight as he slowly drew his cutlass to face his old friend in combat. "You're fight is with me. Let our apprentices play with each other alone."

The two pairs were locked in a seemingly endless struggle. Aiden and Lucius exchanged hit after hit, Aiden's deadly kicks and Lucius's cutlass neither seemed to make their mark on their target. Jason's attacks seemed to do no such damage on the Nidoking's immense defense whilst even the Nidoking's brute force wasn't strong enough to shatter Jason's aura shell.

"I'm impressed kid..." the Nidoking taunted as the two just stood there, sizing their opponent. "Not many people can last this long against me."

Jason was panting in the fatigue but he held on. "I guess I should give you some credit as well..." he managed to comment and he flexed his arms and gripped the handles of his swords. "Not many people can force me to use my aura shell to its max power."

"Heh, so you can't get your defence any stronger?" the Nidoking asked as he grinned menacingly.

"Don't act so cocky, I can't tell you can't pour out any more strength in your attacks either." Jason took a few steps to his left, slowly formulating a strategy to overcome this mountain of an obstacle.

"You should try using special attacks." Sarah suggested. "I doubt his immense defence can block an esper attack."

"But I don't like using esper attacks..." Jason mumbled under his breath. "It gives me nerve-wracking headaches."

"Well, do you know any other way of breaking through his defence?" Sarah asked as her voice faded away.

"If that's the case..." Jason sheathed both his sabres and lit his fists and feet ablaze. "Flame Burst!" Jason exclaimed as he formed an aura sphere on his palm and fused it with his fire affinity turning it into an orb of fire which he shot towards the Nidoking causing a large fiery explosion to enshroud the behemoth.

"Graaa!" The Nidoking growled in pain as the fires slowly died down revealing him with several burns around his body. "Tsk, if that's how you want to play... so be it. Stone Edge!" he slammed his fists onto the ground sending immense columns of rock to burst out of the ground at such blinding speeds it nearly slammed into Jason, but he managed to jump out of the way in the last second. "You were smart to avoid my attack." The Nidoking chuckled as he regained his composure. "You Lucarios may be doubly resistant to rock but I wonder what would have happened if something slammed into your chest with such force."

"Damn..." Jason panted. "Just what is this guy capable of?" he felt himself begin to buckle under his own weight, the fatigue of the entire day began to get the best of him. Now that he thought about it, he hasn't had he breakfast yet. He won't last any longer in this fight, he has to end this soon.

Just over the Nidoking's shoulder, Jason caught a glimpse of the fight between his father and Lucius and what he saw was a grim sight. Aiden and Lucius stood right in front of each other, Lucius's sword thrust deep inside Aiden's chest, blood dripping from the tip.

At that point, Jason felt like his heart was torn out. Everything seemed to slow down into just a few frames per second, every moment that passed felt like hours. He slowly watched as Lucius viciously pulled out his cutlass from Aiden chest causing blood to pour out as Aiden slowly fell to the ground. "DAD!!!"

The Nidoking used this opportunity to launch another devastating stone edge. He slammed his fists against the ground once more sending gargantuan spikes of earth to bust out of the ground with such devastating force. Jason's despair made him lose his focus, his aura shell weakened and his sense dulled, Jason was vulnerable to the attack. The stone spike the burst right under Jason's feet slammed viciously into Jason's chest crushing every bone and organ in its way. The force of the impact was so devastating it caused Jason to cough out a lot of blood as he was sent flying into the cliff and plummet to his doom.

Lucius slowly made his way to the Nidoking's side and joined him in staring down the cliff, watching as Jason's disfigured body plummeted to the ground below. "Such a shame..." Lucius crossed his arms and turned to walk away. "I wanted to play with him some more."

"Avalon's defences are in ruins." The Nidoking joined Lucius's side as they strolled through the piles of dead bodies that was scattered all over the battle field. "Shall we proceed?"

"Hmph." A large, evil grin crept across Lucius's face at the thought. "Yes, let's proceed. Avalon will be mine at last."
