you contemplate what your going to do in terms of a place to sleep; you think about having a last night in your bed but you quickly decide against it. you've already started your adventure there's no need to go back to square one! if nothing else you going to sleep in viridian, so bidding the professor goodbye you start to walk back in the direction of viridian with two pokeballs on your belt with Brasa walking beside you and a brand new pokedex! what more could a pokemon trainer want!
the road to viridian in itself is quick and simple, mainly because Brasa is too strong the pokemon in the route, so you decide to train dare and ali for a bit. nothing much really happened, you defeat a wild rattata here, a wild pidgey there, in fact the only interesting thing that happened was a Greatball you found laying haphazardly around the floor.
the journey to viridian takes half an hour, but it was made quite difficult because of the light in the night, but you do make it in the end, so you have that going for you. you head to the nearby inn you pay the fee for the night and head upstairs. being 15 poke poorer isn't that bad to feel the warm cover of a duvet and the wonderful softness of the pillow. you have Brasa sleeping beside you is an added bonus with the warmth from his body making it even more comfortable for you to sleep in the soft bed.
you wake up early without a problem and you quickly get showered, brush your teeth, eat your breakie' and set off refreshed and ready for the second day of the adventure. you rush to the entrance to viridian forest and hurriedly run through route 2, but are quickly stopped by a bug catcher called Rob "oi! you there, battle me!" he shouts to you, before rushing over with two pokeballs in hand.
your second battle goes... very disappointing, all he has is bug type, and Brasa, he's a fire type, soo, no contest there against his first pokemon, caterpie. fortunately for the bug catcher you like to give him a bit of a fair challenge so you send out dare (the pidgey) against his next... caterpie, god damn bug catchers! at least dare could dispatch the caterpie with a good few gusts and win the battle.
the bug catcher was in some disbelief as you defeat him and his team of pokemon (how he was you don't know, you had a fire type pokemon for pete's sake!) but still hands over the your winnings of 60 poke. grinning a little at the easy win and start walking along your merry way. unfortunately not even five minutes before you are challenged yet again by another bug catcher. the battle preatty much plays out the same only this time his pokemon happens to consist of a caterpie, a metapod and a weedle, still ali was able to take on the metapod himself (all the metapod knew was harden!) but otherwise went the same way before.
of course good things come in three so before you made it into viridian's forest you had to fight yet another bug catcher much to both you and your pokemon. the bug catcher was easy to defeat and you do make it into the forest, with all your pokemon a little more experienced and you slightly more richer.
the forest of viridian is big and very spacious but what happens in there?
A. find and catch a wild pikachu
B. Brasa's feeling a little wierd again :P
C. grind and evolve ali and train dare and Brasa (things are going a little stressed! :D)
