Chapter 20

"You have explaining to do." Zane said to Fredrick as we were getting ready to go the next morning. Zorua was still passed out, snoozing silently in a wrapped up blanket. Zane did this so that when he woke, any struggling he might do wouldn't get him free.

Fredrick grimaced as he was packing, both me and Zane staring at him sternly.

"I've already explained to you, someone told me he was in there." He grumbled lightly

"Naw, there's more than just that." Zane said, "Why didn't you let me and Ruli go in there with you?"

Fredrick stayed silent, as he hefted up his backpack onto his shoulders and he walked past us both, away from the mansion.

"Look, can we just go all right? I did what I came to do..."

Zane watched him walk into the forest, eyes squinting. I could feel his suspicion and distrust of the trainer, and I said, "He might not have told you what he was doing, but he wasn't doing anything bad..." I looked at Zorua sleeping in the blanket then.

Zane sighed, "Yeah...I know...I just wish he'd tell me things."

We got back onto the main trail, following it as normal. Fredrick checked his map after a bit.

"The next town with a pokemon gym is...Ken'tish town." He said, breaking the tension that had been there between him and Zane.

"Great." Zane said as he was carrying Zorua in the blanket. "How far is it?"

"Hmm not very, but it's a special town."

"How so?"

"It's on an island." He said and looked over at Zane, "There's a port up ahead with ferries to take us to the island."

"Whoa really? I didn't know that there was an island town in our region."

Fredrick nodded, "Yup, there's not much else out there though. The town is built on the rocky shelfs of a mountain, which is half submerged in water."

I could see a small town up ahead in the far distance just then, ports and boats and sails marking the water around it, and the vast ocean beyond stretching out of site, except for the large spike of land jutting up from the water, and a very noticeable tower built upon it. That had to be the island he was talking about.

Blaze shivered next to me, "We have to cross the water?"

I looked down at him, "You could ask Zane to put you in your pokeball while we're on the boat." I suggested to him.

He shook his head instantly, "No, no. I'll be fine...not gonna let myself be scared." His voice wavered slightly though, it was clear he was frightened of the water.

I smiled, and looked over at Silver who was on my other side.

"He scares easily when it comes to water." Silver said to me through our mental link.

I nodded and chuckled slightly, "Yeah I know, I'll keep an eye on him."

It was later in the day when we reached the port, and we had to wait a moment for the next ferry to arrive. It would the last one of the day, night would fall by the time we got to the island we were told.

I sat with Zorua, still comfortably sleeping in the blanket he was wrapped up in, as Zane got us tickets. Blaze was over by the edge of the docks with Silver, as he stared out into the water over the edge of the dock. It was fairly high out of the water, so it seemed he felt secure enough to gaze out at it.

When Zane returned, he called the two of them over, and then gave each of us a ticket. He walked up to Fredrick, who had his nose buried in a tour guide booklet.

"Hey!" Zane got his attention and the older trainer looked up.

"Oh." He said and took the ticket, "Thanks." He said before returning his nose to the book.

"What are you doing?"

"Research." He responded, "You'll learn someday that if you're going around, it's important to talk to everyone and learn everything you can. Who knows what kind of special things you might find out about or hear or see, or hell, even catch a really rare pokemon."

"Like Zorua?" Zane asked lightly, but the tone in his voice was clearly accusing.

"Look..." Fredrick grumbled and he closed the book, putting it away in his back pocket while looking into Zane's eyes, "Somethings...aren't for you to know..."

"No." Zane said back sternly, "You're traveling with me, you were hired to. If I'm just another job, fine, but I'm not gonna let you keep being around me if you're going to keep secrets. So, I'll ask this before we get to that island. Is there anything I should know that you're planning to do?"

Fredrick stared at Zane a moment, before the older trainer turned away. He picked up his backpack from where he had been sitting a moment ago. He pushed past Zane as he grunted, "No, there isn't." He continued to walk away until he reached the edge of the dock, and he stood there.

The others and I watched him a moment as he stood there, confused and understandably concerned for him.

"He is very strange." Raze whispered to me, "You should be careful to keep an eye on him."

"Or maybe I can molest him in his sleep so I can know his every thought." I joked.

"With him..." Raze said seriously, "I would say do it, he's becoming a bit of a liability."

"What? Naw..." I returned, surprised he took me seriously, "It's Fredrick...he's helped us out lots of times."

"He's also a mercenary. His loyalty lies with whoever will pay him the most. As far as we know, he could be in the employ of Team Flare right now, keeping an eye on you and Zane."

I folded my ears back at the thought, but shook my head, "No...he's a mercenary sure, but he has a heart." I looked over at Zorua then, and I felt Raze think as well.

"That is true...but still...keep an eye on him."

I nodded slightly, "All right I will."

The wait for the boat was otherwise pleasant, aside from when Blaze nearly fell over the edge of the dock as he dared himself against the water. However, Zane quickly put him in his pokeball to make sure he would be safe until we were safely on the ferry.

He released him back onto the dock of the ferry then, but he kept a close watch on him while I stayed with Zorua. I sat on a bench against the wall of the captains lodge and watched the water flow by and the sky as it was just starting to turn orange as dusk was settling, keeping one paw on the blanket next to me. Zorua's breathing was starting to become more rapid, I had noticed. Would he wake up soon?

"Hey..." A voice snapped me to attention and I looked to see Fredrick there, and I nodded to him in greeting.

He sat next to me then, while he kept his eyes on Zane who was watching Blaze nearby, playing Silver and trying to keep his mind off of the water surrounding us.

"I know that well...I'm not being very...straight forward. But, I guess this is something that Raze would want to know."

I tilted my head, and Raze hummed, "Oh?"

Fredrick pointed out at the upcoming island, "I told you earlier, that the island was once a mountain on the land, until the ocean rose and covered the land. The peak of the mountain is what now makes up the island."

Fredrick opened up the tourguide that he had in his hand, showing it to me. "Look here." He pointed to a picture of the mountain then, which showed a map of what looked to be caves inside the island.

"The island is dotted with holes and caves, all connected to a large cavern here." He tapped the map with a finger. "You said you were looking for Mt Vazuvious, but time and nature had probably changed the mountain, and what it was named. Is this it?"

Raze stayed silent a long moment, but after a while he spoke to me. "No, it's not mount Vazuvious..." He said it really silently, and I felt sadness from him.

I shook my head at Fredrick to tell him it wasn't Mt. Vazuvious, and the human seemed disappointed. "That's too bad, I thought I had really found something, but I guess I'll have to keep researching it."

When Fredrick got up and walked away, I focused on Raze, feeling the deep sadness. He retreated from me a bit, but I held onto contact with him. He seemed too distracted to be able to break the contact completely.

"Raze!" I yelled at him in my head and he stopped trying to retreat. The sadness I felt coming from his mind was overwhelming, "What is it?"

"That mountain..." He sniffled loudly, "It's not Mt Vazuvious but...it's..."

He took a deep breath then, "It's my home, it was our home..."

I looked at the mountain, standing up slowly and walking closer to the railing of the ship. "That was your home?"

"Yeah. All those caves and that big one in the middle?" Raze said sadly, "It's where I lived, it was where we all lived."

____________________________

Stepping foot onto the land of the island felt strange. Knowing it was once Raze's home, as well as the home of dozens and maybe hundreds of Lucario and Riolu, I did feel a deep connection to the place. I kneeled down to touch the ground with my paw, rubbing the dirt around slightly. I looked up then to see the city close by, one building towering over the rest.

"It was my home..." Raze sighed to me, "But it's changed so much, too much, to still be called such."

"Naw." I stood up and looked at the mountain side. There were many visible holes and caves dotting the surface. "The face of the mountain has changed, but I bet the inside is the same."

"Heh...maybe."

"Come on!" Zane shouted at me as I had fallen behind, and I smiled and did a quick sprint to catch up.

The gym was rather quick to find, it seemed it served as a town pool for the residents. But, being that it was already pretty late today the pool, and the gym itself, was already closed for the day.

"Guess we'll have to wait until tomorrow." Zane said and shrugged. "Let's find the pokemon center."

I looked over at the mountain again and I thought a moment before talking to Zane.

"You guys go on ahead, I'm gonna...explore the mountain a little."

"What?" Zane asked, confused, "Why?"

"It's important that I do this." I told my trainer.

"You don't have to do this for me Ruli..." Raze said, "I already know what it looks like inside."

"Yes, but it's not just for you. Who knows, maybe there's something else in there now. Wouldn't it be nice to see?" I said back to him in thought.

I started to walk away, but that was when I felt something warm press up close to my side, and I looked down to see Blaze standing beside me.

"I'll come with you." He said, and I opened my mouth to say no, but he continued, "It'll be dark in those caves, my flame can light the way."

I stared at him a moment before I nodded, and Zane sighed. "All right fine, just be back before morning so you can get some sleep okay?"

"We'll be back soon Zane. I promise."

________________________

Getting up to the caves was slightly difficult. It was clear that the mountain was not often traveled now. Rocks and boulders covered the pathways, but some spots I saw I could tell were not natural rock fall. There were clear cracks and marks in the sides of the mountain where powerful attacks had hit it, long in the past.

"A fight happened here." I said out loud as I examined the boulders.

"A fierce one." Blaze commented with me as he was nearby, using his tail flame to examine some marks on the face of the mountain.

Raze sighed in my head, "After the fight with Calamity, Zul must have tried to keep this mountain home. Who knows what kind of chaos continued to go unchecked without the megas to keep the pokemon in line?"

I stood up and looked over the pathway, eyeing one of entrances to the caves beyond and I quickly made my way toward it.

I put my paw on the edge of the opening as I stared into the darkness beyond, until Blaze came up beside me and he took a deep breath, before he exhaled and a few small embers blew from his maw into the cave, laying on the rocky ground and lighting up the walls so we could see deeper in.

Nodding to Blaze to follow and keep the way lit, I started to step farther into the tunnels.

The air whistled around us as we got deeper and deeper, and the air turned dank and musky after a bit.

"These tunnels are still the same." Raze whispered to me, "Be careful, we're close to the main chasm that connected all of them.

"Blaze, shoot an ember as far as you can."

He inhaled behind me, before he shot a large ember over my shoulder, which made my body tingle just a moment but it flew past me down the tunnel, until it hit a wall and fell down a hole. I blinked and walked forward, the glow of the ember leading me to the hole and I looked down to see the huge room below.

"Oh wow...it's huge..." I looked down at the circular like cave, dozens of holes which lead to other caves marking all over the walls. I sat on the edge of the hole, as Blaze watched me, before I huffed and let myself slide down.

I landed heavily onto the ground, catching myself with my feet and kneeling to absorb the fall. My steel made bones absorbed the impact easily. Clearly, this had been the intention that only Lucarios would be able to make that fall without harm. I looked up at Blaze as I stood up, and held out my arms and waved my paws.

"Come on, I'll catch ya." I told him and he peered down at me a moment, eyes narrowing before he sat on the edge of the hole and eventually pushed himself down. He fell down at me quickly, and I made sure to get myself under him. I caught him, but he was heavier than I anticipated and I fell back onto my rear with him against me.

"Oof!" I grunted as I hit the ground, my bones again absorbing most of the impact, but it still smarted to hit my ass on the rocks. My feet and paws had pads to land on, but the rest of my skin was fairly soft and unprotected.

"You okay?" Blaze asked me worriedly as he laid on my chest, just off to the side of my chest spike. I sat up, holding him against me still.

"Yeah, I'm good." I said and shook my head clear, then I suddenly felt something poking me in the stomach, and I looked down between us to see his oddly shaped cock poking against me from between his legs, sliding from the slit only a few inches. It was lined with hard looking ridges on the top half, while the tip was curved to a point, an barely visible hole showing where his urethra was.

"Um...Blaze?" I whispered as I looked down.

"Huh?" He started and then he realized how he was aroused and he quickly scrambled off of me.

"Oh shit I'm sorry!" He quickly said as he turned away from me, as he closed his legs tightly, looking like he was trying to keep his cock inside himself.

"It's okay." I told him and reached our for him, putting my paw on his shoulder. He turned his head to me then, staring back at me with one eye. He seemed frightened.

"How is it okay?! It's not okay! I mean..." he looked away from me, then he turned back around towards me, more of his dragon like cock poking from the slit. Were his testicles internal?

"How am I always attracted to other guys...?" He whined to me and he blushed at me. "When you held me like that...I couldn't help it."

I chuckled lightly, and I used my paw on his shoulder to pull him closer to me. I smiled, this was a surprise, I wouldn't have thought this would be the place I would get to be with Blaze. In a dark, dank cave inside a mountain, the only light being the ball of ember close us and his flame tipped tail.

He let himself get pulled against me, his warm body pushing against mine and I felt his surprisingly smooth shaft brush into my fur and throb on my body. He blushed visibly and I smiled at him as I hugged him closer, feeling my own cock starting to throb and slide free of my sheath.

"Hehe, there's nothing wrong with it Blaze. You remember how I told you I created bonds through sexual acts? Those bonds help me and the ones I make it with understand each other, so we can help on another and battle together. Lucarios like me are meant to create the bonds."

"Yeah but..." He said and looked down away from me, "I'm not...into it...I mean...I need to find a female mate..."

"You're Zane's pokemon now Blaze, you let yourself get captured. Breeding with a female is a miniscule possibility at this point, so why restrict yourself?"

He shook his head rapidly "Cause doing it with another guy is just so odd..."

I tilted my head, "And yet, I bet the only pokemon who ever aroused you before were other guys huh?"

He narrowed his eyes and growled lightly, but remained silent, and it was confirmation enough for me as I chuckled and reached down with my paw to rub his soft belly.

Blaze closed his eyes fully at my touch, as I started to rub slowly with my paw and he stood still. A few moments past as I rubbed, just watching his dragon shaft throb and pre started to ooze from the tip, sliding down the underside. Then I heard him moan softly and I looked up at his face. His eyes were slightly open again, as he watched my paw, his maw open only a bit as he panted lightly and I murred.

He blushed as I moved slowly, lowering my paw slowly until I could wrap it around his cock. I clenched it tightly with my fist, making him gasp out in surprise as he watched with one eye closed as he felt the tight pleasure from my paw. I rubbed slowly, rubbing my fingers on the ridges on the top of his cock as I examined his shaft. The ridges looked hard, and indeed, they were, but only as hard as the rest of his cock was. Filled with blood as they were, they were still spongy, but I knew if I would let him fuck me, they would probably hurt. But at the same time, maybe they would rub on my prostate just the right way inside me.

Hmm, was it worth the try? I thought to myself and grinned, looking at Blaze's face as he panted, silently letting me stroke his hard cock.

I'd never let anything in my rear yet, asides for that Lucario's finger when I had still been a Riolu. That had hurt, mostly because his finger had been huge compared to my smaller body. Now that I was a Lucario though, could I take a cock more easily?

If I could take something with ridges like Blaze, I could probably take Silver and Zane too I surmised, and I nodded as I made my decision.

I let go of Blaze's cock then, and he blinked in surprise while I gently pushed him away. I grinned at him while I rolled onto my paws and knees, lifting my tail up high and looking over my shoulder at him.

"W-what are you doing?" He asked as he saw me present myself to him and I looked over my shoulder at him.

"Letting you take control, you'll be more comfortable like that right?"

"W-well...but..." He looked down at his hard cock, then sighed as he closed his eyes and looked back up at my rear, "Lower it down farther..." He whispered as he came up close behind me slowly.

I smiled and did as he asked, lowering my rear closer to the ground as much as I could while still staying up on my paws and knees. I wiggled slightly as I settled into place, and instantly felt his small paws grip onto my waist and then his pre covered slimy cock pushing between my cheeks.

I blushed myself now as I realized what I was doing, I had never taken anyone before, but it was too late to take this back.

He spared no time as he found my tail hole with the pointed tip of his cock, and I felt it and shivered lightly. Spurred on by his happy lust, he pushed forward with his hips against me. I relaxed like Zane had done for me, and cringed as I felt his cock slide into me suddenly.

"Ohhhh..." I groaned out, feeling the ridges of his cock slide into me one after the other as he just pushed in without pause, and as he bottomed out into me, I felt the most electric sensation within me as the tip of his shaft and the very first ridge grinded on my prostate.

I gripped the ground hard with my paws, surprised at the feeling of pleasure this gave me. I had expected pain at first, but it seemed my body, being bigger than I had been as a Riolu, was able to handle Blaze's comparably smaller size.

And this I was thankful for, as he growled behind me happily and he instantly began to hump in earnest, already lost to the pleasure he apparently had been denying himself for years.

I already felt the burning sensation in my chest that told me of our forming mental link. Did that mean he was already really close to cumming or was I? As I felt him thrust back into me, I felt another spark as he jabbed on my prostate and I felt my own cock throb heavily, my knot already formed.

"Ohhh wow..." I moaned again as he pulled back away from me, then thrust back in. My arms and legs were shaking in effort to hold myself still for him, it was difficult to stay in place with the pleasure I was getting.

It wasn't quite as pleasure as taking someone myself like I had Zane, but still, the pleasure was there, and it was fun. To keep myself from falling over, I started to thrust back into his own thrusts as I groaned and he growled out again in pleasure. His cock throbbed deep in me with each push, and I could feel the warmth of his body against me.

"F-fuck..." He moaned, "This is great..." He panted over me and I smiled slightly, and I focused on the moment as he started to move faster and rougher, grinding the ridges of his cock into me. Did he get pleasure from the ridges I wondered? I squeezed around his cock then as tight as I could, giving a resistance to his thrusts.

He moaned and whined, my tight clench actually stopping him in mid thrust, catching him between ridges and he tried to push against me over and over, but he was locked in place as long as I was squeezing down on him.

Oh so was that how that worked? I grinned and I relaxed again, and he slid into me fully and then I clenched on him again as he sank into me fully.

He yelled out as I squeezed on the root of his cock, and I felt a sudden rush of warmth as he throbbed heavily inside me. Squeezing and locking him into me acting like me locking myself to someone by my knot. He jack hammered against my rear as I kept my tight grip on him, as his thrusting brought on his climax quickly and he began to cum into me.

Even as he emptied into me, I felt my chest explode with the growing fire inside and I felt my mind connect to Blaze's own. In an instant, I understood everything about him, I felt his emotions at this moment, the deep burning passion he was feeling as he indulged in deep rooted sexual lust that he had always ignored around others.

Images and emotions flashed through my mind, as I felt every moment of his life. The times he had been happy with his friends back by Gracel town, then the sadness, anger, and loneliness he felt when he realized that those friendships seemed so fake when they had all abandoned him. The confusion he experienced when I had rescued him at risk to my own body, and when Zane had thanked him by giving him all those sandwiches. I giggled as I watched a flash of memory, him crying in the underground cave he called his home, devouring the sandwiches without pause, trying to drown his confusion and sadness with food. I felt his convection and will when he had burst into the town's gym and confronted Rosy and allowed himself to become Zane's pokemon. I lived through his own feelings when he had been with me in the bathroom, how strange he had felt, slightly aroused but unwilling to let himself indulge in them. Apparently, he had a growing affection for Silver, would he and Silver become mates in our little family I wondered?

And it was now that I was returned to the present situation, returning to my own body as he continued to thrust, and the continued grinding on my sensitive and previously untouched prostate driving me over the edge with him and I gasped, my hole flexing rapidly over his cock as I came onto the rocky ground of the cave. He gasped behind me, as I knew that at that instant, the mental linked reached him, and he was now feeling and seeing everything about me.

"Wh-what?" He murmured out, and I looked back at him, almost able to see my memories flashing through his eyes as he looked down at me. I relaxed, and he pulled out from me quickly, still stunned at all the visions he had just seen. "I knew we were...in such a thing but...this is Raze's home?" He looked around the cave, apparently forgetting so quickly that we had just mated, his cock already softening and slipping back into him slowly.

"Yeah." I nodded, as I knew now he knew everything about Raze that I did.

"Maybe Zul left something here..." He said lightly and I blinked. I had never thought of that before.

"I thought that too." Raze stated, talking now that we were finished with our quick and random fuck, "While you too were rutting about, I did a little search of my own, trying to feel about what I could, and I did find something. There's a Mega gem below us, farther down the tunnels."

"Oh?" I said to him, and told Blaze he was right on the money.

"Really? Great!" He said happily and I smiled, pleased that he seemed so happy.

"Which tunnel do we have to go down?" He asked me and Raze directed us to a small cave towards the corner of the room.

"Through there, you might have to crouch a bit to get in there, the Riolu's lived in there."

I nodded and knelt down slightly as I crawled into the tunnel, Blaze following me and letting his flame tipped tail light our way.

"Be careful. It's close..." Raze said to me as I focused on the tunnel ahead, and it dipped down a bit into a smaller, den like room. I could stand up here, and I waited as Blaze quickly got out beside me, the flame of his tail lighting up the room.

"Oh...no..." Raze said in my head as I saw the sight in front of us.

Skeletons littered the ground between us and a bright red glowing gem that laid on the ground, inside the skeletal remains of a humanoid body.

"Is that...?" I started as I saw the skeleton.

"I hope to whatever forces may be that it isn't..." Raze said sadly to me and it was then that the gem glowed bright and a thunderous voice shouted.

"YOU!!!"

"What is that!?" Blaze shouted, and I was surprised he could hear it, but didn't have time to think about it as the cavern shook as the voice continued.

"BOTH OF YOU!!!" The voice was tremendously booming.

"Raze!" I shouted over the noise, "What is that?"

"It's...It's Calamity!"

"WHAT?!" I shouted out, and I turned to Blaze, "Get back!"

It was then that Raze's gem glowed in my necklace, and Blaze's own gem started to glow with it.

The chain necklaces lifted up from our bodies, and began to tug us towards the gem laying on the ground as the cavern shook.

"What's happening?!" I grabbed hold of Raze's gem with my paws and tried to pull back as I slide through the skeletons, scattering the bones about as I tried to tug away from whatever force was dragging us.

"He's sucking in my spiritual energy! Merge with me before he can take it all!" Raze shouted and he unleashed his energy at me then, wrapping it around me and I transformed into my mega form. My connection to Raze was lost while I was in this form, and I couldn't speak to him anymore.

The tugging from my collar stopped as Raze gave me all his energy that he could,

"RRRRRR SO YOU CAN PROTECT YOURSELF FROM ME MEGA LUCARIO...BUT YOUR COMPANION..." I looked at Blaze, who was still sliding along the ground past me, and closer to the gem, "IS NOT SO LUCKY!!!!"

"Hell no!" I growled and I wrapping my arms around Blaze's body, trying to pull him back, but the pull was just too strong. Calamity continued to pull on Blaze's gem, and without the ability to merge with the spirit inside, there was no way to stop it.

"HAHAHA! EVEN IN THIS USELESS GEM FORM, I CAN AFFECT THE WORLD!!! THE MEGA'S POWERS COMBINED MIGHT HAVE BEEN ENOUGH TO DEFEAT ME, BUT ALONE, YOU ARE NOT BUT A SPECK OF DUST IN THE WIND TO ME!!!"

"What, are you doing?!" I shouted as I leaned back, placing my paw against the ground as I then used Metal Claw to extend my pointed spike from the back of my palm into the ground, anchoring me there as I kept my other arm wrapped tightly around Blaze's body.

We stopped, but the tugging continued. I felt my steel spike strain from my paw rather painfully at the force being put on it. I grimaced in pain at the tugging sensation being put on the very bone of my arm. The spike of my paw was made of the bones of my arm it seemed. I saw blood start to seep from around the spike and I looked at the glowing red gem that was Calamity.

"How, How did you get here?!"

"THAT FOOLESS HUMAN..." Calamities horrid voice chuckled at me, "HE MISTOOK ME FOR YOU MEGA LUCARIO! AND THE MOMENT THEY ALL LEAST EXPECTED IT, I DRAINED THEM ALL OF THEIR LIFE ENERGY!"

My eyes went wide. Zul had brought Calamity down here, mistaking his gem form as Raze's he brought him too the deepest part of their den, and then...

I stared at the skeleton holding Calamity, preserved throughout the years by being so deep inside this mountain...

I gasped out as the suction power of the pulling force increased dramatically. I gritted my teeth and howled in pain, the steel spike on my paw making a very loud cracking noise as it actually started to snap apart! Was that even possible?

"NOW, ALL I NEED...IS TO DRAIN OUT JUST A LITTLE BIT OF SPIRIT ENERGY FROM ONE OF YOU, AND I CAN GET OUT OF THIS CURSED FORM! THIS WORLD WILL DROWN IN THE GREAT RIVER OF MY POWER!!!"

"Not today it won't!" I shouted out, and thought quickly. I retracted my metal claw before it really break. In a split second, I swapped my arms around Blaze, grabbing him again with my bleeding paw, and then slamming my other paw back into the ground with a new metal claw to anchor us. We had slid halfway down the room before I could stop us again.

A red stream of energy was being sucked from Blaze's gem as he held onto my arm tightly, it flowed through the air to Calamity's gem.

"Yeeeeessss..." He gave off a whispering growl and I gasped, if he drained out Blaze's Mega, he'd be revived!

"Hang on to me as tight as you can!" I yelled at Blaze and he nodded, his legs and arms gripping onto my body, and he held onto the chest spikes I had for extra leverage with his hands and I started to use my spikes and metal claw to slowly try and make my way back up the room to the tunnel, if we could just get away from the gem enough, and keep him from draining his gem

Streams of energy continued to pour free of Blaze's gem as I slowly made my way away from Calamity. Was I going to make it in time?

Calamity glowed ever brighter as seconds ticked by, the streams of red energy starting to lose density and color.

"Yeeesssss...almost..." He growled out again as I panted. "You're too late..."

The suction suddenly ended, me and Blaze falling to the ground suddenly. There was silence for a moment. before Calamity gem's shined brightly and seemed to explode.

"I LIVE AGAIN!!!"

I didn't see him, but the way the mountain feel apart around me was clue enough of his massive body bursting free of the mountain. As me and Blaze began to get buried in a pile of rocks and rubble, I heard a strange yet familiar voice calling out to me in my head.

"No! I will protect you! Raze!"

A sudden force field appeared over me and Blaze, blocking each of the rocks as they tumbled down around us and the ground shattered, but the space around me and Blaze remained untouched. The small slap of rocky earth lifted us up, surrounded by the glowing green force field as it lifted us up to the surface and into the air.

I sat up slowly, slightly aching from the experience and the injured spike on my paw giving me flashes of pain. "What...what?"

"This is our home Raze...remember?"

"Z-Zul?" I whispered out as I looked around at the force field. I could see Calamity flying in the air, his massive body blocking out most of the sky. He flew in circles around the island, and then he seemed to notice us, as he folded his wings and a large ball of red energy formed between them, before firing at us in a large beam.

"I don't think so!" Zul's voice shouted, another beam of green energy of his own shooting from our little bubble to meet Calamity's

"RRRR INTERFERING HUMAN! EVEN DEAD YOU GET IN MY WAY!"

"You will not hurt my friends!" Zul's voice shouted again.

"Zul, wait!" I started, "I'm not really-"

"Easy Ruli..." His voice said to me kindly, "I know you're not really Raze, but I know he can hear me...this mountain has always been our home. I can't believe that I really brought him here like that..."

"What do we do?" I asked worriedly, as Zul brought us closer to the ground, close to the middle of town. The residents were already scrambling, it was the middle of the night now, people were running around in their night clothing and gowns. A few trainers from the gym were directing the citizens.

Zul's force field faded as we landed on the ground, and a spirit then formed in front of me and Blaze then. He looked exactly as Zul had in Raze's memories, and I hoped he was seeing this. His body glowed with a green glow slightly and he floated off the ground just a few inches.

"He's still weak...having just awakened, you should be enough to drive him off, but you have to give it your all." He looked at Blaze. "All of you. Together, just like the Megas had done."

The sky rumbled heavily above us, clouds were starting to form and gather.

"If he's allowed his way..." Zul said, looking up at the sky with his, "The world will tear itself it apart just like it did so many centuries ago." He looked back at me, and I stared into his eyes, they seemed so...peaceful really.

"Ruli...Raze has given you his power. His is stronger than the mega that Calamity drained...with it you can drive him off, but you will need your...trainer's help. Your trainer...heh, I like that..."

"Am I..." I stopped, "Are we enough? What about after? What will happen even if we can drive him off..."

"He is weak, not at full power, until he is, I doubt he will dare to try and do anything. Drive him off now, and you can buy the time you need. even if you can't drive him off, keep him distracted long enough here right now. Someone very strong is already on their way to stop him."

Zul faded away then, and I reached out to him quickly as his body seemed to wash away on the wind.

"Zul!"

"Raze..." his voice whispered on the air in my ear, "I'm sorry...I wanted to...with you as well..."

Even while in his form, those words struck a cord even to me, and a tear formed in my eye all at once. I dabbed at it with my paw and stared at the wet spot on my fur. Was that Raze's tear, or mine...?

"Zane!" I yowled over the commotion of the town as I found my trainer searching for me as well.

"Ruli! What's happening!?"

"It's Calamity, he's back! He was in the mountain!"

"What? How? Why?" He asked me as I stopped in front of him, panting, with Blaze close behind me.

"No time!" I shouted and waved my paw, the long tendrils of my head appendages flowing in the air around me. "We've got to drive him away, we all need to pool our strength together!"

"Already on it!" Fredrick shouted nearby, and he flew close to me on Dragonite. Pidove quickly followed, flapping his wings and hovering over my head.

"Grab on!" He shouted down at me.

I took hold of his talons with one paw, and then grabbed hold of Blaze's with my other one. The fire pokemon looked at me in surprise a moment.

"Wh-what?!"

I grinned at him, "Come on! Raze and Mega Charizard were a good tag team in the past. We can do the same, just cause you're not evolved yet don't mean you can't help." I gripped his paw tightly, and shouted up to Pidove, "Let's go!"

The flying pokemon flapped his wings hard and we took up off into the air. He seemed to have no trouble flying with me and Blaze dangling under him.

"Be careful!" Zane yelled out at me and I looked back down at him a moment, and I noticed Zorua standing close behind him. When had he woken up? I cleared that thought from my head, and focused on the moment as we flew up high in the air, the wind brushing along my face and my head appendages waving about behind me.

Fredrick and Dragonite flew up close to me and he shouted out at me, "We'll get his attention, you get him from behind!"

I nodded to him and then he flew off quickly in front of us, flying directly at Calamity as the giant pokemon was swirling about in the air. The clouds were starting to spin in the same way he did, was he trying to start a tornado or something?

He noticed Fredrick flying at him, and he folded his three wings up together, another ball of red energy forming quickly before he fired it out in a long beam.

"Whoa!" Pidove shouted as he swerved with us to avoid it as the beam arched at Fredrick and then tried to lead on us.

Fredrick shouted at Dragonite, who opened his maw to fire a beam of orange energy at Calamity, who with wings still folded up, produced a protect barrier to hide from the attack. It blasted against the barrier, and Calamity then flew off away from us both, going around the mountain.

"Quick, go over the mountain so we get behind him! Try to stay out of his line of sight!" I shouted up at Pidove then.

"All right!" He responded and turned us toward the face of the mountain, ascending up along it quickly to the very top, where we could see Calamity and Fredrick still battling.

Fredrick pointed again, and I saw his Shaymin fly up close to him as he shouted and then Shaymin fired a green ball at Calamity, while Dragonite fired another orange beam of energy.

Calamity screeched loudly, folding his wings once more to make a protect barrier. The attacks exploded against it, just as large yellow stars and a ball of purple energy was fired from the town below us. Zane and the others must have been trying to help too.

The stars slipped past his frontal barrier from behind, blasting him in the back with many small explosions, making him stumble visibly in the air. The shadow ball attack quickly followed the stars, hitting him with a much larger explosion that made him screech loudly.

His attention focused on the town, and he folded his wings and started to gather energy for a massive attack.

"I don't think so!" I yelled and I held up a palm, gathering aura energy into a ball quickly. I threw it down at him as hard as I could, shaking Pidove a bit but he kept us aloft.

The ball sailed down at Calamity, guided by my intent, it struck him smack in the middle of his head, catching him unaware again. The powerful explosion made him screech once more, his attack fading into the air as he fell a few hundred feet in the air before regaining his balance and flying again.

"RRRR PESKY VERMIN!" He turned at me then, another barrier of energy forming around his entire body to protect him from all sides, but I also saw energy gather between his wings. He could do both at once?

"Watch out!" I shouted at Pidove, who moved quickly with me and Blaze clinging to his talons.

I bright glow appeared at the side of my vision and I looked over as Blaze was taking a deep breath, his maw glowing with fire before he yelled out and shot a thick jet of flame at Calamity.

As it reached halfway through the air at the destructive pokemon, he fired his own attack at us. Blaze's flamethrower colladed with it in midair, but Calamity's power was much stronger, and it pushed it aside. It did give Pidove enough time to quickly flap away to the side quickly and avoid the massive beam of energy just in time. I felt an intense heat from it, and it made my bones itch greatly. Calamity was a fire type?

"That was close!" Pidove shouted over the wind, and it was then that the sky started to rain down on us, and the sky boomed with lightning bolts.

The bolts of lightning began to strike around us, too close for comfort.

"Whoa!" Pidove shouted again as he started to fly difficultly, and me and Blaze had to use both paws to hold on.

The lightning just didn't seem to stop though, it struck around us repeatedly, and I saw Fredrick and Dragonite actually get struck with one in the air, and they began to tumble to the ground, the human jumping free of Dragonite. He hung onto Shaymin who flew by him, and then called Dragonite back to his pokeball.

"It's too dangerous to stay up here!" I shouted up to Pidove, "Take us down!"

"No way! We can do this, we can-" It was then a lightning bolt got just too close. It wasn't a direct hit, but it was close enough to zap us with electricity. I felt my teeth shiver, but thankfully, it seemed my steel bones were able to absorb most of the zap. Blaze, however, didn't have that ability, and he suddenly dropped from next to me into the air as he let go of Pidove. Pidove started to fall as well, fainted from the zap of electricity. I let go of him, reaching out for Blaze as we all started to fall through the air.

"Whoa! Easy there friend!" A sudden voice shouted and we all landed on a sudden green and serpent like pokemon who had come flying in as if out of nowhere. I grunted as I landed on the back of pokemon, gripping onto Blaze and Pidove both with one arm to keep them from flying away, and holding onto a plate jetting out from the pokemon's back with my other one.

I panted and rested a moment before looking up, seeing a human standing with his back to me, riding the pokemon I was holding onto, standing up as if the wind and rain and the wavy flying pattern of the pokemon did nothing to disrupt his balance.

He looked back at me, I could only see one green eye, his slightly blonde hair flowing on the side of his face and behind his head.

"You all right?" He asked me and I nodded.

"Who...who are you?"

"Name's Chris." The human turned his attention back forward, and I looked at him.

"Wait...you can understand me?" It was just like Steve, how could random humans understand me?

"Of course. Now, hang on!" He shouted at me and he leaned, the pokemon leaning with him and I had to grip tightly as I slightly slid along the pokemon's smoothly scaled body. What pokemon was this? Was this the strong person Zul had said was coming?

We began to fly right at Calamity, I could see him screeching and folding his wings once more over the human's shoulder. Was he crazy?!

A ball of energy began to form between Calamity's wings once more as we continued to fly at him, Chris mumbling to the pokemon as we drew closer and closer quickly.

"Easy...easy..." The ball of energy Calamity had gathered glowed brightly, "Now Rayquaza! Thunderbolt!"

The pokemon that I was riding shouted out, a loud roar of might and I saw a bright glowing yellow shine from its maw in front of us. It was so powerful!

The lightning in the air seemed to gather up in front of us, attracted by the force of the electricity gathering at Rayquaza's maw, before blasting it all at Calamity, who fired his own beam to met the yellow streaks of lightning.

The lightning from the sky continued to zap down in front of us, and I had to close one eye and use a paw to shield myself from the brightness, but Chris continued to stand still, his jacket and hair waving about in the air like crazy but he remained unphased.

"Come on Rayquaza! Show us everything you got!" He shouted out and the dragon like pokemon roared, the bright sparks of electricity increasing in glow and volume as it simply increased the power. The bolts of lightning began to push Calamity's beam back, and I heard him screech out.

"NOOOOO!!!" There was a huge explosion, a enormous cloud of smoke filling the air where Calamity had been. It filled the air, as we floated in place, watching and waiting, until Calamity shot free of the smoke cloud, screeching. His body was covered in smoldering burn marks and his body sparked with jolts of electricity.

"THIS WORLD..." He shouted out as he flew away, "IS STRONGER THAN IT SEEMS...BUT I WILL STILL BATHE IT IN A FLOOD OF POWER AND DESTROY ALL THAT EXISTS!!!"

He screeched repeatedly as he continued to fly away, until I could see him no longer. I closed my eyes as I felt Raze take back his power at that moment, the streams of red and black returning to his gem and I heard his voice in my head.

"We did it..." He panted loudly in my head, clearly, having spent a large quantity of his energy in maintaining my mega form.

"That was intense..." I panted as well and I heard Chris turn and kneel in front of me, still moving like riding this pokemon was a natural as walking.

"We have introductions to attend too, but first, let's get us back down to the ground yeah? Your trainer's probably worried."

I nodded and closed my eyes again tiredly, holding onto the large scale plate as I rested.
