Chapter 6: The Transformation
"Now, do you see that you are one of us?" Belle asked, hopeful.
"Yes, by all the things I've seen, I do believe that." Adam replied "that's why when I arrived here. I felt I have lived here all my life, like I've been here before."
"That's because you were," Nick said "in your previous life."
"I know." Adam quickly said "How will I get this soul of my previous self into this body form all those years back when I was that animal?"
"Okay, first of all," Belle started "We're not 'unexplainable animals' I'm a Floatzel, and Nick here is a Buizel. Your soul is also based on a Buizel. Second, I know how to do something like this."
"Is it... painless?" Adam asked
"I'm not quite sure." Belle replied "It's never been done before. But I expect it will be painless."
"I hope so." Adam said.
"To do this," Nick started "we need to get you to the transformation stone and chant a water spell to turn you into a Buizel like me. A.K.A, your brother." Adam nodded.
"Will the way there be dangerous?"
"It won't," Belle said "We're the only animals here. Besides, all those years ago. Carus was destroyed."
"Okay."
"What are we waiting for?" Nick shouted "Let's get moving!"
The walk there was long and they going round in circles, it seemed to go on for ages. They finally reached a stone that stood up straight waiting for a body to go into its stony claws. Waiting for a soul to be transferred into Adam, to his original body.
"We're here." Belle whispered. She turned to look at Adam. "Adam, there is the stone is right there. You have to stand on the right side of that stone. I'll go on the left side and enter your Buizel soul into you. Okay?" Adam nodded "Good." She kissed him on the head. They went up to the stone. Adam did as she instructed, he went on the right side. Belle was on the left side. Adam stood up, the wall just barely touching him. The transformation started with a bright light showing Adam's soul going out of him. Nick caught Adam with spare he kept with at all times. He closed the Bottle and Adam's human soul, was caught. A hole appeared on Belle's side of the stone showing Adam's mind where his human soul was previously. Belle opened her bottle, poured Adam's Buizel soul and went to stand next to Nick to chant the spell with him. They said some of the words that Adam couldn't understand. After the light disappeared, Belle and Nick stopped chanting and Adam fainted, collapsed on the spot.
Adam felt really, relaxed as he got up. Seeing Belle and Nick sitting next to him.
"Wha--?" Adam started "What happened to me?" He tried to get but quickly fell back. Belle helped Adam get up.
"Don't rush." Belle told Adam "It looks it takes time to get used to your Buizel body." Adam looked down and gasped. He was turned into a fully-fledged Buizel! He looked just like Nick! Nick smiled and hugged Adam. "Welcome back brother." Belle also hugged Adam. Adam shared the embrace of being back by hugging his mother and brother.
Epilogue
Over the years, Adam got back into his previous life by doing everything he used to do. Adam and his old family were finally back together. Nothing would break them apart by their family bond.
