Chapter 5: Adam's memory
Adam was amazed about what was in his mind. He saw many sights. He saw a door saying 'Adam's previous life' "That's odd," Adam thought "I never saw that door before. He tried to open the door. "Odd. The door doesn't seem to open. Usually on my mind I can open any door, but this one looked like it can't be opened."
"That's because only our kind can open it." Adam looked behind and saw Belle and Nick. Adam couldn't believe his eyes.
"How did you guys get in my mind?" Adam asked. Nick replied
"We have special powers. We use the element of water to enter anyone's mind. In this case, open this door for you."
"Both of you," Belle said to Adam and Nick "stand back." Adam and Nick moved behind Belle as she approached the door that said 'Adam's previous life'. She went to grab the handle and turned the door knob on the door, slowly and cautiously. She opened the door and looked inside; it was dark as the night itself. She whispered to the two "Its all clear." Adam and Nick approached Belle who was next to the door. Nick asked
"Why are we whispering?" Belle replied
"If we talk too loud, we might disturb some of his memories when we he was in our family." Nick nodded slowly as Adam and the rest of them looked inside the door of Adam's previous life. They all saw a burning forest and a lake in the middle with three small figures in the middle.
"Mum, we're trapped!" The younger version of Nick shouted as the fire approached. "The younger version looked at the animal version of Adam in his previous life. The present version of Adam couldn't believe his eyes. He looked just like Nick in his previous life. "Adam, help me take out this fire. If we don't stop it, we may not survive the rest of the season." Adam nodded and put both of his hands in front of him. Belle did the same. They both shouted some made up language and shot water at the fire to stop the fire.
They cleared up most of the fire when Adam saw a giant blaze, like fire creature supersized attacking the forest with fire. Adam run towards it "Adam stop! He's too strong for you." Adam ignored those words and ran closer towards the giant fire monster. Adam shot water at the fire monster, it didn't seem to be weakened by the water, and it just seemed to get its attention.
"Huh? Another one just waiting to be burned. I'll teach you to mess with Carus!" Adam was dumbstruck. He heard about Carus. He thought that it was a story. Carus shot his hand at Adam and hit him on the stomach. Adam sounded hurt and his back on an oak tree.
"Noooo!!!" Belle screamed. She shouted some made up language and shot something at the monster. The monster was Defeated. The forest returned to its original state. Belle came next to Adam, holding him in her arms. "Please don't die now. You have still so much to live for."
"I'm sorry... Mum." Adam said, on the brink of death. "But... this is the end." Adam closed his eyes and breathed his last. Belle started to cry while still holding her dead son in her arms.
"That's what happened to you all those years ago. You died in this very forest by Carus, the fire spirit. The next day, while your body was still fresh. I took your body and turned your body into a soul. The body is now fresh and ready to go back into you." Adam seemed to be surprised by What Belle had told her. Adam understood, and they walked out of Adam's Memories of his previous life. Nick still looked at what happened. He quickly followed Belle and Adam out of the door. After they had left, Belle closed the door and left Adam's mind.
"You'll be out of your mind when you leave this place!" Nick joked. He also left Adam's mind. Adam chuckled a bit at that joke and decided to leave his mind and go back to the world he was currently in.
