#8 of Text adventure

The idea of this choose your own adventure is that I will write a page of a story ending in a choice of what action our hero takes next. You can then vote by commenting with your choice, I will then write the next page using the most voted on option to build a story page by page. It will be an adult story with sexual scenes and you get to chose partners, positions and such. I will look to post a minimum of once a week but with the aim of doing it twice a week whenever possible.

Sneak attack by a fox barbarian and a giant polar mage it is.

The two scaled a nearby hill to get a vantage point on the camp, from there they could see the camp was a hub of activity. Aleoric counted at least twenty goblins. He could also see a corral of horses and what looked like some cages but he couldn't tell what was in them from this distance.

"I think we should wait until night fall, rest up a little and then try and pick off the guards silently first. I don't like the idea of taking on the entire camp at once." The bear whispered to the fox.

Kenia shrugged and fingered his axeblade. "If that makes you feel comfortable we can do it that way. Personally I think we could take the lot of them. You and your magic, me and my axe. Cut, slash, blast and run." With each word the fox motioned with his axe.

"My dad would like you." The bear muttered. "He was always asking me why I had to try and think my way through, plan a strategy. 'Just hit the fucker hard enough and he'll go down son.' That's what he used to say."

"Sounds like good advice to me." The fox observed with a grin.

"It didn't work for my brother Dante, he tried to punch a frost giant to death and got squashed. Sometimes you can't hit hard so you need to hit smart." The bear retorted with a grim look.

"Hey, I agreed to wait and do your one at a time stealthy attacks didn't I?" The fox lifted up his loincloth. "Could a fox get a muzzle job while we wait?"

Aleroic couldn't help but laugh and while it was tempting he would need all the energy he could muster for the fight. "Afterwards I promise we can have some fun, but right now we both need to rest and prepare."

"You're no fun." The fox grumbled as the bear rolled onto his back and closed his eyes.

"That's not what you said last night, or this morning for that matter." Aleoric replied with a chuckle.

"Fine, you're no fun before a battle." Kenia moaned with a smile and then winked. "But I will keep you to your promise."

The two rested for a few hours and then as the sun finally sank over the horizon and the shadows grew long they began to creep towards the camp. Spotting a pair of goblin guards on the edge of the camp the bear waved a few hand signals t the fox. Kenia crept up behind one and the bear another. With a flash and a squeak they fell down dead. One with a fiery hole in his back, the other without a head which rolled a good few feet.

"So far so good." The bear whispered and the two began to creep into the camp. As they heard another patrol approaching they ducked behind a bush. Then as the two heavily armed guards passed they jumped on them. Aleoric muttered quickly and used an earth spell to turn the air around the goblins into rock.

"Wow, that was amazing, can you change air into gold?" The fox whispered in awe.

"It doesn't last, the rock will turn back to air in a few hours." Aleoric whispered. "Plus it is a hard spell to prepare, I spent our preparation time getting a few of my more impressive spells ready to cast."

"So, if we were discovered and had to fight the entire camp at once you would be able to kick some ass?" The fox asked his eyes looking passed the bear's shoulder.

"Well possibly, but lets stick to the plan until we are discovered." Aleoric replied feeling particularly smug, the earth spell had been a difficult one and to pull it off so expertly in combat was a proud moment for him.

"Oh ok, but I think they might have a problem with us sticking to the stealth plan." Kenia replied pointing out the seven goblins armed with bows, arrows drawn pointed at them.

"Oh Shit!" The bear shouted as the goblins let their arrows fly. Kenia threw himself at the ground as Aleoric waved his paws letting loose a wind spell sending the arrows tumbling harmlessly.

As the goblins scrambled to grab arrows and shoot again, Kenia leapt to his feet and charged screaming a battle cry. Before he arrived Aleoric let loose with a fireball catching one of the goblins in the chest, followed by another wind spell to knock the arrows out of the goblins hands as they drew back to shoot. The fox arrived with a scream and a crash. Two more goblins fell dead and a third turned and ran.

"We've got them on the run." Aleoric shouted as he dispatched another with a lightning spell.

Kenia quickly finished off the remaining two goblins and then turned to run into the camp. His blood lust screaming through his veins, the red mist covering his eyes and clouding his mind. The bear ended up running after him, getting to see his crazed friend as he charged a line of twelve goblins single handed.

The bear knew that the fox was able to handle himself, but he didn't like the odds. He cast the few protective spells he had prepared for himself on the crazed vulpine. Then turned his mind to offence, reaching out his paw and releasing the last of his prepared spells a rather good wind spell. A gust of wind lifted two goblins clear off the ground at least twenty feet into the air before dropping them onto the ground where they screamed satisfyingly.

The fox was carving his way through the goblins and with the defensive spells in place none of them were able to lay a weapon on him. Then just as the bear was about to unleash another fireball he was hit by a powerful crackle of lightening. It sent the bear sprawling onto the floor, fortunately he had enough defences prepared for himself that it didn't kill him.

Aleoric spotted his attacker, a goblin shaman, squatting outside one of their tents, waving a totem and chanting. The bear reached out and unleashed a fireball, the shaman swotted it out of the air easily. The bear got to his feet and pulled out his magic tome. He flicked through tome for a good spell to use and let loose another standard fireball just to keep the shaman offguard.

As the goblin suddenly unleashed a deadly lightning spell, the bear caught the lightning on one paw, screaming as pain shot up his arm. He focused his mind and chanted holding the power of the shaman's spell in his paw and as he chanted flaming runes surround his paw. As the pain began to overwhelm him the bear unleashed his spell, combining the shaman's magic with his own, it slammed right through the goblin's defences and it screamed in pain and then fell over smoking.

The bear fell down to his knees gasping for breath, the paw that had held the spell felt numb. Which was an improvement on the searing pain it was feeling during the spell. He looked up to see Kenia standing with his axe on his back grinning. There wasn't a live goblin in sight.

"Fucking hell that was impressive!" The fox exclaimed. "You just nailed that shaman in one hit. Good thing I came with you those bloody horses wouldn't have stood a chance."

"Thanks, you were great too, completely unstoppable." The bear replied taking a deep breath and standing up. The two wander further into the camp to inspect what they have won.

They found two chests of loot, mostly silver and gold coins taken from travellers. They also found that the cages were full. A blonde furred equine in one, he looked quite young, late teens maybe, and didn't speak as the two approach just hid behind his paws. In the other was a naga, He looked up at the two heroes and shouted. "Let me out, I'm just a merchant I was captured yesterday."

Kenia stops and whispered. "Never trust a naga, that's a basic rule of adventuring."
