"So, did you have something you wanted to talk about, or simply just to enjoy the ride?" N asked, a little bemused at the scene he just witnessed.

"Well, a little bit of both actually. I have the feeling that you've probably got some interesting stories. If not, then I certainly do." Kyn said, waiting for the wheel to start moving.

N set the Oddish down on the seat beside him, gently so that it wouldn't wake. "Interesting stories eh? Not sure what you'd find interesting about my stay in the wilderness for the past two years in different places of a region that you've no doubt scoured at one point or another."

"For one thing, what types of Pokémon you encountered. For you, I'm sure meeting new Pokémon was as good for you as it was for me. Hell, since you were the Hoenn region, maybe you even found some of my team member's families."

"Well, I suppose...I went south of Petalburg city, found a house that was abandoned to take shelter in, looked like it had at one point been lived in by some rangers, but they were long gone. The tribe of Ralts and their evolutions confirmed that there was once a girl who lived there with her family that had befriended them, and they were more than ecstatic that they didn't have to invade my mind to speak with me; seems they find it quite rude."

"Well... from what I've learned from Serena, it is. Heh. Believe it or not... I'm actually working on a Pokémon Translator. Devon Corporation back in Sinnoh is trying the same thing, but of course they're still getting nowhere. Maybe eventually I'll utilize their manpower." He took out his Pokédex and looked up Ralts. "Ah... the pre-evolution of Gardevoir..."

"Yes, the Ralts line and the Gothita line seem to be comparable, except for the fact, of course, that one reacts to emotions and seems to focus on enjoying life and the other sees the end of life." He paused. "A Pokémon translator eh? That would be...interesting, to say the least."

"N, I've got another interesting revelation for you on the Ferris Wheel of Revelation, as we use it; Tensa can speak, read, and write our language." It really didn't make that much difference to Serena though, since she _could_read their language, but to the average person, and maybe even N, this type of thing would be of interest.

Of course it was of interest to him, quite the case, as he leaned forward, pulling one knee up to rest one elbow on it. "Does he now? How long did it take him to learn to do that? He is a very smart Sceptile."

"He learned it in a total of about five years. 'S also part o' the reason why I can understand their language. Back and forth exchange of information. We began with things like body language, combined with various types of growls or other things. Then it evolved to basic phrases, which then were able to be chained to advanced things."

"That's similar to how I learned, though the friends that I had were switched out, so they never learned the human language, unfortunately. It makes me think though, that they might have had a shot as well..." He trailed off, lost in thought.

"Oh dear. That reminds me. Colress would have probably just about had a creaturegasm, if he'd heard Tensa speaking to him in his own language." The image made him chuckle for a bit before he went back into regular conversation mode. "But, of course we can't let that get out."

"Of course not, and anything you tell me is in confidence, I wouldn't betray that for the world." He answered honestly. "I've actually got more to tell you, but Serena might find this next part interesting, as it involves other Bagon."

"Oh? Well I think I'll find it interesting too. Bagon are very rare, in any sense, so those that have well trained, ha, Salamence, are highly regarded." Kyn said, and then waited for the rest.

"I suppose that because Serena trusts you enough to behave for you, that does make you a dragon tamer then." He mused. "Ah, but yes, I visited the top of the mountain near Lavaridge town and discovered a nest, actually; I didn't realize at the time what the nest was home to, of course, and being a fool, I stepped in to get a better look, and ended up face to face with a mother Salamence...and a Sceptile father. Neither of them were happy to see me, as you can imagine...but I managed to talk my way out of it by explaining to them who I was, and that I didn't want their egg, and that they could kill me if they wished, and I wouldn't have resisted at all." He paused. "They told me that they were once a Trainer's Pokémon, and that when the trainer had died, they were released into the wild...not in the same place, of course, but eventually they had found one another and decided to start a family...and that I could stay and learn, but I had to get my own food."

"Interesting pairing. So then... of course I don't often mention this, but, you've noticed that Serena had golden head plates as a Bagon didn't you?" After N answered, he then continued with the last point that N made about having to get his own food. "Sounds similar to my first forté into her world, having to get my own food. I'm assuming that means that you're... now along the lines of being a gatherer or a hunter like I sort of am? More than likely the gatherer type since you were in that mountainous area."

A nod was his answer to the first part, and after a moment, he gave a slight smile. "Yes...I survived mostly on berries during my time with them, nearly had a couple close calls with falling down the mountain, of course, but I'm proud to say that I survived...and am now a rather proficient rock climber as well."

"Alright then. You might be prepared enough for Serena's world. Obviously you've never been spoon fed non-survivalist stuff like some humans here. We both learn things from our Pokémon." Kyn said, pleased with the fact that N _had_managed to find something to do involving the Hoenn region that furthered himself as a human being.

"Well, yes and no...If survival of the fittest is the way of her world, I would essentially be a sitting Ducklett should something choose to attack me, as I told the others; I would not defend myself against them, wouldn't be able to, actually; pacifism and all that." He pointed out.

"Hm. Then only half. I'd be other half. I will defend both myself, and you. I have no need for pacifism, but violence is not my first choice." Kyn explained. He supposed N was right... and it also brought up the issue of the fact that he'd have to leave Zekrom behind too.

N shrugged. "If it suits you, be my guest. I'm sure that even if you weren't willing to do so, that I would find a way to keep myself alive, though I admit, the rage of a mother is not something that I wish to experience again....Speaking of motherhood...Serena is nesting, isn't she?"

"Yes. We've decided to claim the Dragon's Den as hers. She's decided that she wants to find out what her egg will hatch into the natural way, which I don't really blame her for." The view was interesting again, and he took the time to observe the surrounding area, playing a small game of looking into the office buildings to see if he could see people in them.

He chuckled. "Nesting, and having a nest, are two different things...She's treating you as if you were her hatchling...that usually happens a bit before a reptile goes into heat, and since she has said that she has a heat cycle...I'm just guessing here."

"It has been a while since I studied Dragons, N. I've got so much in my head... I'm surprised my insanity hasn't had that much more of an effect on me." Kyn commented idly.

N just smiled, pulling off his hat to run his hands through his hair. "Well, I could be wrong, of course, I don't know her as well as you do, so I could be totally off base, but it would explain the...well, the anger, and then the rapid mood changes that she seems to be experiencing."

"N, you probably don't care much for fan girls do you? Well, I'm imagining the looks on their faces if they saw you with your hair cut. My my. It'd be like..." He trailed off not really finishing his thought.

The smile quickly turned into a frown. "Why should what I do with my hair make any matter to them; how I choose to dress and accentuate myself is no matter to them. I kept my hair long because I like it that way, not because of some fan girl."

"Well, don't know if you can tell or not but, forest green to green are my favorite colors. So, do you see anything of interest up here?" Kyn asked, now looking down to the ground instead of out in front of him.

"You're not going to tell me that you miss my long hair, are you?" He asked, then for the moment looked out the window. "You're probably going to be more specific, since we've been up here...I've been observing you."

"No. I don't. I don't really have anything specific in mind. I like being in high places, and I believe I can think best when I am above the influence of the ground. I suppose that could explain why I love flying."

"You and Serena make quite the pair, then. Her species being the evolutionary line that grew wings because they wanted to fly so badly, and You, who love to fly." He mused. "Lets see...The skyline here is always relatively pretty, especially at sunset when you can see only the outlines of the buildings, the rest in darkness."

"So, as it currently looks... after we deal with Team Plasma... I'll be headed back to her world for a bit. The interesting thing though is... time dilation." Kyn wasn't sure N would really be to interested in the specifics of how, but if he asked he'd explain it.

He slipped the hat back on his head as he thought. "Time dilation...? You're telling me that time here, and there, are different? That's got to be a time warp, going back and forth like that...having to resynchronize the calendars to read the proper dates and all."

Well, N didn't exactly ask but, it might as well be a variation of, what is this? explain? type situation. " It's not really that difficult. Besides, Miru has practiced enough that we can adjust the dilation at will so that even a second here equals a second there."

"I imagine that that would take a lot of practice...and adjustment as well...So did you decide to live bi-worldly then, a house there and everything?" He asked, definitely curious.

"I don't have a house there... just a large tent, surrounded by a wooden fort to keep out all the critters, even the climbers. The current time dilation had around a year here equaling 23 years there. It increased for one reason or another But that's going to change."

"Mmm, I imagine that would be easier to upkeep than an actual house." The smile was back. "So...you haven't seen Serena in 23 years? She is one loyal dragon to remember you that long." He looked out the window in thought. "Why doesn't Serena like humans, in general?"

"A different numbers of factors really. Some of which include Pokémon Trainers. Another I believe includes their... I mean our... well, damn, there I go again, excluding us from humanity. Let me try that again. _A_Superiority complex. But it was actually more than that 23 years. I came back two years later, and it more than 46 had passed." He sighed.

"I do it sometimes too, don't worry about it...Yet still when they do something that I'm proud of them for doing, it's always a 'we' but when they're doing something idiotic...well, I wouldn't want to associate myself with them then." He paused. "Superiority complex...as in they think they're better than everyone...I suppose in the wild such as her world, that if you do not deserve it, you are not given it...so it's disrespectful. Hm...I'll try to remember that I'll have to earn my respect from her, then...the fact that you've stuck up for me is likely the only reason she pulled me away from Kyurem when he changed back to normal...I suppose she thought that that would be volatile."

"N, I believe the fact that Zekrom chose you, is already a major step forward in that category. Though I was resisting the urge to chuckle after you tackled her because of the whole Zekrom thing... you shoulda seen the look on Serena's face."

"I....uh....Oh..." He looked a bit...flustered. "I suppose that I did invade her personal space there...but at least she let me pet her before you left. Kyurem went back to the chasm that was his sleeping place, I imagine that since he's awake now, he wont allow himself to be captured again."

"...I do have a bit of a personal question... Has Zekrom ever claimed you were his human, and ever threatened to well, electrocute someone that displeased him or you....?" Kyn wasn't going to go into specifics about the way Serena acted at those times, but he wondered if any other Dragons did it.

He scratched the side of his face. "Well...he's a bit possessive, but he's never actually...called me his? He's thought about attacking someone who caught him in a bad mood and did something that angered him...but usually I was able to calm him down...never for me though...I would think if we both lost our heads at the same time then it might...well, be bad. Better that he not...Why...? Has Serena......?"

"Well N... see, I wasn't planning on going into specifics but yes. Serena has literally referred to me as 'her' human. I believe this is a case of double adoption. She's now old enough to be near my mother's age..." Kyn said, thinking about the conversation that he and Serena had discussed sometime earlier.

N was quiet for a while as he thought. "And...this all began when...you adopted her as part of your family?"

"Well... actually, I believe it happened much before. Dating all the way back to the Bagon stage, actually. But I have no direct evidence there." He explained in mentioning the guesswork.

"After an event that she protected you, or something more...personal?" N questioned, hoping that he phrased it in a way that wouldn't be completely misconstrued. He doubted that Serena would want all the details of her life spread out on a page before someone she hardly knew.

"I'm leaning more towards the first part. I'm not exactly one hundred percent sure myself." Kyn said, trying to go over the time he had been rescued by Serena, as well as the times he had 'helped' Serena with various issues she was dealing with.

"Well, bonds that are forged in hell don't break due to a little fire, Kyn. I would say that no matter what happens, so long as it's not something that doesn't go against everything she wakes up for in the morning...that she'll still claim you as part of her family...and while we're on the subject of dragons, have you ever heard the saying, a thunder of dragons? They're most definitely not a flock of dragons, that's for sure."

"I've never heard that saying before in my life. Not even from Clair." Kyn said, thinking about the term in his mind.

"Ah...well it's a really suitable term, if you've ever heard a whole flock of dragons then you would understand." He looked back towards Kyn. "Does it bug you that Serena claims you as she does?"

"No. Not really. Her claim will not override Tensa's and she does have Heji so, really it's not that bad." Kyn sighed, and then looked back at N. "Have you found your special someone yet? Or are you just not... pursuing that type of thing?"

"I'm not...really looking for a relationship with anyone, aside from the time spent with Team Plasma, and then these two years out on my own, you have to understand, I was sheltered. I didn't get to see the world. If I'm to have someone to be with me, I wish to have a better grasp on reality first--not just my ideals. Besides, things like that rather find you when you're not expecting them to do so."

"Well, I hate to cut this meeting short but, I think I've just about finished all I wanna say. So, you got any last closing statements or questions before we go back down?" He scooted over carefully, as not to rock the carriage, and moved closer towards the window.

"Just one. Thanks for tolerating my socially awkward self at the start. If you hadn't allowed me to force you into being my friend, then I don't know where I'd be right now." As the carriage came to a stop, N picked up the Oddish and exited after Kyn to rejoin Serena on the ground.

Serena was laying down in front of the Ferris wheel, and when she heard it creak to a close, she lifted her head. She had long figured out how to, and practiced coming out of her ball, to where it took her less than 5 seconds to do so when she was needed to do it. As they approached, as they no doubt would, she picked up her ball from the ground and held it between her jaws as she nosed Kyn, and offered it back to him.

"Serena, that Luxury Ball has real gold in it. I don't know if it'd be something that you'd want to add to your horde or not. It's just a suggestion..." Kyn took the ball back, and clipped it to the front of his belt.

<You really are uncomfortable with me being one of your 'tamed' Pokémon, aren't you? Come now, you know me better than to think that I'd stay at my den constantly while you're off doing whatever with Heji and the others, or at least you should.> She tilted her head at him, not truly speaking, instead she nuzzled him. <Unless you specifically order me to stay put, at least.>

<Is it so easy to read me like that without even needing to read my mind? The answer is yes I am. Besides, Heji will be staying with you.> "I don't really know where to go next. Now, you wanted to know who the new Champion is. Let's go find out." He said, pointing towards the Pokémon center.

<You'll break his heart if you leave him out of your fun.> She answered, then followed his finger to the building that he designated as the Pokémon Center, and nodded.

"May as well, can also use the phone there and call our friend about the Sages and Shadow Triad...That way he can get a jump start before they know he's after them."

"Well... I hope they're someone strong enough to be able to withstand both the cold, and the challenge of... well, us two. Y'know I was rather surprised how quickly Zekrom was able to defeat the Champion. Despite being awakened after millenia of hibernation, he was still pretty damn powerful," Kyn directed at N, with much praise.

Serena chuckled to herself at the unintentional bragging. "They were dragons...he probably just gave up the title the moment he saw the Black One of legend." She tilted her eye back at N. "Ah...no offense, that might have come out wrong...I didn't mean to imply that you might be incompetent. Just that most people would be fools to stand up against the Black, or White, of myth."

N kind of blinked at both the praise, and the joke---Was it even a joke?---well, she had said no offense intended, so probably. "I just let him do his thing, he required very little instruction from me, really."

"But yeah... having to contend with all three of us, I don't think they stand a chance, whoever they are. N.... by any chance, while you were exploring, did you hear of a woman called Cynthia...?"

"I did." He answered "Never happened to come across her however."

<Your first statement was more proper than the second. Two, not three, while I might test this new Champion first to see if they are WORTHY of even facing you, I am still yours.>

<Whoa whoa whoa. Hold on a minute, what's this about being worthy enough of challenging me...?> "I believe Cynthia's lineup may prove a challenge for you both... since she's more than likely been training for the past two years as well as exploring," Kyn was mostly referring to her 'vintage', the Garchomp, as Cilan would call her.

Serena looked at Kyn, her green eye blinking as she did, revealing of course, not just one eyelid, but two, as most reptiles did. <Oh please; If Tensa is stronger than me, and he and I are compatible, then he can learn Dragon Pulse at least, and If he can learn Dragon Pulse, then he should be able to focus it into a beam as I can, instead of just that orb. _With_that being the case, don't you keep your strongest Pokémon for last?> "Perhaps, If we ever run into her. <Don't forget that I wanted to make a run into charge stone cave before we left this region.>

"I'd look forward to it. Now, lets get to work, would you care to make the call, or check the records?"

<Now that'd be something rather interesting. A new attack, Dragon Storm. Though... I think Tensa is better with Energy Ball since he is not a Dragon-type.> "I will be checking the records. It's still a bit ironic. Looker helped take down huge organizations like Team Galactic... and yet... you managed to avoid him so easily."

Serena flicked hear earfins and licked her nose. <Hm, might be interesting in a 2vs2 battle though.> She walked with Kyn, slightly curious, even she would admit that, about how this would work to begin with, besides, she wasn't going to go too far from Kyn anyway...being with the fact that she and technology didn't get along.

N nodded with a bit of a chuckle. "Well, to be fair, I wasn't on his list."

"Not at first you weren't. About six months later he approached Cheren, Bianca, and a few others about you." Once they arrived at the Pokémon Center the doors opened automatically and slid back, allowing them entry. He hadn't shown Serena this type of thing before, but maybe she'd found something digging around in his memory, if not, it'd probably be _somewhat_of a surprise for her.

Her earfins did flick open in slight surprise, but it wasn't like she hadn't noticed something similar in the big city they had just left a little while ago...she did hope that it wouldn't close on her tail, and actually did take care so that it wouldn't happen.

"Ah, well, I was long gone by then...and no one would have been able to find me, since I try not to draw attention to myself." he added "I do so hope that I'm_still_ not on his list, or I might have to disappear again."

"I also acquainted Tenshi to Iris, Drayden, and a whole bunch of others in various cities, in that six month time. So anyway, I believe I was going to tell you both, how the Shadow Triad are why I know Serena today." Kyn said, sitting down at the the computer terminal.

"You were, yes." Serena answered, sitting down behind him, her tail curled like a Kecleon kept theirs, her wings folded in tight so that they wouldn't be in the way. "It was before N caught up to us though."

"After Ghetsis first defeat... the Shadow Triad gave me three orbs. Those orbs were the Adamant, Lustrous, and Griseous orbs. Somehow Ghetsis managed to acquire them, making me think that there's more than one set. But, that Lustrous Orb allowed that first experimentation in Miru's space bending and in this case, space-tearing power." He went through the various entries stored, before he finally came up to where the current Champion was, and then he was utterly blown away. He immediately stood up, knelt down, and put his palm on his face.

Serena tilted her head at his actions, and tapped him with a claw, giving off a wave of curiosity and asking an unvoiced question.

"Something wrong?" N asked, tapping Serena's wing to get her to adjust it, relieved that she didn't snap at him for touching her, since her wings were of course, one of the most sensitive parts of her body.

"Somehow... Iris became the Champion. I'm guessing that after two years of absence she'll have at least gotten somewhat stronger." He said. He wasn't sure if N would remember who Iris was, since she played a _very_small role in the overall scheme of things regarding N and him.

Serena tilted her head. "Iris?" The name was familiar, but she hadn't actually seen Iris before.

"Ah...the little dragon tamer girl? I don't remember her too much...but dragons here while it's covered in ice? That's...well, I hope that her idea of an arena is warm..."

"Seems that her Axew is finally evolved into its Haxorus state... and she has... oh, this is rather interesting. She has a Salamence. As well as a Druddigon, and... a Lapras for some reason."

Serena's face skewed up. "Ice beam...she has a Lapras for its Ice Beam." She paused. "Get up off the floor, you're drawing attention to yourself." she chided.

"Blizzard, actually but yes, other than that though, none of her Pokémon know any Ice-type moves." Kyn got up off the floor, and sighed again.

"Blizzard? Merf...I'm not sure if she's foolish, or just Naive...Blizzard is powerful, sure, but it can rage out of control too easily, can be turned back on the opponent...and can only be used a few times..." She frowned. "Well...what do you want to do, Kyn?"

"She's probably thinks she's got enough Dragon-types to not need to use the Lapras, and her Haxorus is more than likely her vintage. I think we should... split up, sort of."

"Eh...? Split up?" She tilted her head off to the side. "Why's that?" she thought about what Kyn said about her hoping that she wouldn't have to use her Lapras, and she snorted at the idea.

"We'll cover more ground that way. Since the only remaining faction... is the one that is _not_Colress' then... I'm certain that we won't need to do as much convincing. With Colress stepping down, and Ghetsis dead, they'll have no reason to continue, unless they are foolish."

"Wouldn't it be...easier to let them spread it around themselves, rather than putting either or your names out there?" She looked backwards, expecting to see N, and when she didn't she figured that he had slunk off to make the call, whatever call that was, she wasn't exactly sure. "Of course, I suppose they would also be spreading around the fact that N was back, and they might get it misconstrued..."

"For all intents and purposes Ghetsis' 'son' is dead, as well him. When they find out he will no longer support their ideals it will be the ultimate defeat. Besides, for once, I think I deserve the ability to be in the spotlight again. One could even say... that I deserve the chance to be filled with moxie."

"So do you want me to go with you, N, or are you dismissing me to go off on my own and do my own thing? I imagine a lone Salamence in the region will attract as much attention as a Hurricane would." She mused, nosing his shoulder.

"Hm, well, right... I guess I forgot. Yeah... known some of these humans, they'd more than likely think you'd be on you way towards a rampage. Go with N then, I suppose. Dragon Support!" Kyn chuckled at that last line.

"Considering the mess I left in the first city...and what I did in front of all those Plasma grunts...I can't say that their claims would be totally unfounded...So then...where would you like us to meet you when we're done?"

"Aspertia City. It's in western Isshu, and there's a Gym there. Don't know who the Leader of the Gym is. It's actually just a bit southwest of where the Plasma Frigate is if it's still there/was if it's not." He said, getting out the map and showing her.

"I...See..." She once more looked over his shoulder, rather unsure, but she would be able to find it regardless. "I suppose then, I'll collect the green haired male of our group before he gets himself into an argument with your friend on the phone." The nose was at his cheek, then she stood and stretched. "Do take care of my ball while I'm gone...perhaps when I'm not with you, I will hide it with the rest of my dragon-y hoard."

"Well then, I guess I'll see you whenever. Hey would you lean back down here for sec?" He asked, reaching out his hand.

Serena did as he asked, craning her neck down to where he could reach her head. She let him do as he wished, guessing that he wanted to pet her, but she could be wrong, of course, she had been wrong before.

Kyn then used both hand to pull himself closer to Serena. He nuzzled her with his forehead and then planted a kiss, before saying, "Thanks for still putting up with me after all these years."

A soft churr escaped from her throat. "You put up with me as well, I call that a fair trade." She waited for him to let her go, though her tail had curled just a little at the tip, clearly he had just lifted her mood from the guilt that she had felt prior to.

"Well... good luck," Kyn said, releasing the embrace. This was something he was not afraid to do in public, as displays of affection between Trainer and Pokémon were commonplace.
