Author's note: well this one has been in my head for a long time and now I have gotten it out. I hope you will enjoy the story.

The egg shakes as the surface begins to crack as a umbreon and alakazam, filled with joy and hope watch the egg shake. A young zangoose look on bored as he eats an oran berry. Finally a multicolor head burst through the shell. The tiny eyes to the small head did not open but moved towards the sound of voices that it hears.

The umbreon look sadden as if it was not what she expected. Her ears wilt a bit as the alakazam tries to comfort her. The seviper finally opens it's eyes as it falls from the egg shattering the rest of the egg. It looks around confused and sees the umbreon and slithers up to her trying to get food as hunger racks it's tiny body. The umbreon smiles at the tiny snake as it looks up at her trying to get food as it cries out in hunger.

The alakazam eyes glow a bit as he uses his power to bring some food for the tiny seviper. The little snake sees this and it begins to cry seeing the alakazam use its power. The umbreon berates the alakzam for scaring the little seviper. Some multi color pokeblocks land in front of the young seviper. It sniffs the blocks and then smiles as it begins to devour the blocks until one get stuck in its throat. The seviper begins to gag a bit until the alakazam hit's the sevieper's back making the food go down. The young seviper gets full for being so small. They see the bulge in the middle of its body as the young seviper hisses loudly but happily.

"Well for now we don't have to worry about feeding this one." The alkazam smiles. The umbreon head butts his leg. The alakazam looks hurt by the attack as he rubs his leg.

"What is wrong with you?" The umbreon barks at the alakazam "Trying to starve the baby You can be heartless at times Kai."

"Look Gale snakes digest food slower than we do. Look the little one is asleep already." The tiny snake is curled up next to Gale sleeping. "Look I read about it online how they digest their food slowly not needing to eat for extended periods of time. I am glad Jeff lets me use the laptop so much." Kai smiles.

Gale sighs as she curls around the tying snake pokemon. " Only because he makes money letting you use it. Jeff doing that stupid stuff while you record for him doing that foolish stuff with Link. Sometimes I wonder if Jeff's head is made of rock like the dumb mutt Link?"

Kai laughs knowing full well Link the lucario has grown up with Jeff and just adopted his trainers mannerism, and stupidity.

Gale looks at Kai from the corner of her eye as she watches the seviper sleep. " I am surprised you didn't turn out the same way."

"Well unlike Link I don't have to worry about having a bond like he does with our trainer. Also Jeff raised Link like he was his brother so it was a small wonder that Link turned out the way he did. "Still I am happy our trainer was able to get this egg for us. I am sorry I have not been able.. Hey!!" Kai rubs his leg where Gale had just nip him harshly.

" I told you not to talk about it. I knew from the start when I became your mate that it would be hard for us to have a cub together. I am not going to fret over this little one. She will be my daughter. No matter what she is I will raise her as my own. It will be hard but I will love her no matter what." She nuzzles the sleeping seviper. A breaking of some branches wakes the tiny seviper as young zangoose walks over looking at the tiny snake.

Gale just glares as it is Jeff's new pokemon a young zangoose. He is a bit smaller than most zangoose as he has yet to fully mature yet. He was given to Jeff as its mother had triplets. He look to be the runt of the littler at the time. Though he has proven himself in battle time and time again that he is more powerful than he looks.

The zangoose looks at the tiny seviper as it looks at him trying to figure out what he is. "So what is this dinner?" He playfully jabs his claw finger at the tiny snake. He continues to laugh as he does that daring the tying snake to do something. Gale is about to fire off a shadow ball at him when the tiny snake bite his paw taking the zangoose by surprise as he runs around screaming bloody murder saying it's trying to eat him. Kai sighs as uses his power to the stop the panicking zangoose. "You're always act like a baby you over grown plush doll." Kai is able to get the seviper off of the zangoose who is crying and rubbing his paw where he was bitten.

" That thing has a taste for zangoose we have to put it down!" He wails as he is hit with an iron tail from Gale who is now standing over the zangoose.

"You will not touch my daughter unless you want me to castrate you." She bares her sharp teeth at the zangoose. He looks away knowing she would carry out her threat.

Kai just laughs as he pets the seviper who is trying to wipe the blood from it's mouth on the alakazam's fur while nuzzling his leg. As Kai pick up the small snake as he notices something on the back of her head. Beside the normal color that a seviper usually has. It has a unique design of a crown on her head. He smiles thinking what to call her now. "Gale I have a name for our daughter. I think Queen might be a nice name for her." He shows his mate the pattern on her head. Gale smiles and nods as she calls her Queen as the young seviper curls up and falls asleep.

~A few years later~

A very large seviper hides in the deep weeds waiting for her prey. A young meinfoo is looking around for opponent as she tries her best to be on guard. The young meinfoo is beginning to panic as she continues her path as it knows that her opponent their but cannot see it. As she jumps at every sound, she beings to lose her nerve and begin to visibly shake until a dark shadow covers her. The young meinfoo screams in terror as the seviper pounces on to its prey.

A zangoose who is sitting near by eating from a bowl of mixed berries with a shinx playing with a ball of yarn next to him watch the meinfoo flail in the coils of the seviper. " Really do you have to abuse your sister like that every time?" The zangoose says bored.

The seviper laughs as it licks the meinfoo's face making the meinfoo shiver in disgust. "Come on sis stop being a baby. You're getting stronger everyday and yet you act like scary meowth. You don't see Lyon being like that." Both look at the Lyon the shinx now tied up in the string of the yarn. The meinfoo looks away with a blush on her face. "I knew you liked him." Queen's laugh comes out a stuttering hiss. As she releases the meinfoo as shadow ball hit's the back of her head. Queen is taken by surprised by this as she is sent flying a bit from where she was. She is about to attack the fool who dares to do such a thing to her. She stops when she sees an angry umbreon, her mother Gale, who's rings are glowing brightly as are her red eyes. Queen knew she was in deep trouble.

"How many times do I have to tell you to stop picking on your sister like that!" She basically barks at Queen.

"Oh come on mom if she is going to be a fighter she needs to learn how to fight. She is afraid of her own shadow." At that the meinfoo is hiding behind umbreon poking her head out a bit. But to terrified to say anything back at Queen.

"She can't learn anything if she is terrified to face me, and I am not even doing anything to her expect coil around her . She needs to toughen up if she is going to battle one day." Queen states proudly.

At that the zangoose just laughs as he finishes off the berries. " With your ugly mug no wonder she can't fight. Are you using scary face now...oh wait you are always been that ugly." He starts to laugh but jumps back a few feet when a glowing tail pierces the ground where he stood. "Temper temper your royal highness." He taunts as she charges at him as he moves in a flash out of her way. He climbs a tree as he sits on a branch waiting for her to come after him. She stops knowing better as zangoose laughs at Queen mockingly.

"Don't be mad your highness. I am sure your loyal subjects will help your slow ass." He sticks his tongue out at her. With that her tail blade glows and she actually cuts the tree. The surprised zangoose holds onto for dear life as it falls over with him screaming that she was bitch.

"What do you know you can hear a tree fall in a forest." She laughs as the zangoose voice can be heard moaning from the fallen tree.

Gale sighs "How you two fight together in team battles is beyond me. Saber get your worthless ass out of there. You have survived a nidoqueen falling on you."

Saber crawls our from the tree as he just glares at Queen as he walks over to the terrified meinfoo. "Don't worry Lin I'll protect you from the big bad sister." Laura nods and runs over to Lyon as he is all but tangled up with the yarn as she picks him up and runs off with him.

Saber just smiles as she leaves with the tied up shinx. "They are cut..." He jumps out of the way of a glowing tail. " tut tut your majesty. You have such a nasty temper." Saber's claws begin to glow as he looks ready to attack. Just before both begin to charge at each other. A light engulfs a surprised Saber. Kai seems to be smiling from a table near by not even watching what he is doing to the flailing zangoose. As on cue Queen is about to attack the floating zangoose when a shadow ball explodes in front of her. Her mother is looking at her with that death glare. If it was a move her mother used in battle Queen was sure most opponents would just outright quit.

Her mother was small compared to Queen's larger size. Yet she still cower before her knowing full well the umbreon would not hesitate to put Queen in her place. She looks towards Saber who is spinning around asking to be put down before he throws up. Kai not really paying attention to him as he works on the laptop.

Jeff and Link walk up looking like they were playing in the dirt all day. Link with a broken skateboard. His fur matted with dirt but with a goofy grin that matches his trainer. Link sees Saber and runs up and pokes at the sick looking zangoose. 'Trying to color change Saber?'

Jeff sighs as he puts his ear piece in. " I hate to have Link translate for me and Kai's mental link gives me a headache after awhile. No offense to you old friend but I hate to have my head spinning after a while. Still let Saber down he and Queen need to battle later. After a shower." Jeff grabs Link by his arm and drags the lucario with him. Link seems not to keen on the idea of a shower as he begins to flail saying no water.

Kai watches them leave as Saber drops to the ground after he is release from Kai's power. Saber mumbling something about beating the shit out of some bastard as he glares at Kai. Kai just smiles as he gets back to work on the website. As Queen slithers over and watches her father upload the videos of Link and Jeff. " How is it that he is our trainer as idiotic as he and his fellow mutt are?" She watches a video where Link is pushing Jeff in a shopping cart up a hill and lets him go down the hill into a tree. Link runs down the hill his arms flailing as he is laughing at the out of control cart with Jeff in it.

" The so called great lucario and his fearless trainer bring home the bacon so to speak as we get cash from the fools who watch him online." Kai states mildly.

Queen huffs a bit "Then tell me why do I have to always have to team up the plush toy to battle. If our trainer and Link do these stupid things to make money why do we battle at all?"

Kai sighs " You do see all the stuff we have here and your sister? Her egg was bought with that money from the videos. Still we have several mouths to feed." He looks at Saber as he still tries to keep his food down. " Some eating more than others. Still it takes money for us to be together. Because of that our trainer still battles. You and Saber do great together. I know you both hate each other but still you both work great together."

"Does it reall..oh god I hate you Kai." Saber clutches his stomach as he stumbles a bit. Trying to move closer to Kai. " Oh gods do I hate you fucking bastard..." Saber still looking green as he tries to hold his lunch down.

Queen looks at Saber as he still tries to stand. Yes he was good in battle. He always put his pettiness aside when they battled. What made it worst is that he always seem in battle to protect her. She hated that he would do that in battle as if she could not defend herself. She loathed to have him doing that in battle. Even if she was injured or weak from the battle. She hated to rely on Saber. He was a good for nothing lazy bum. Yet he was kind to her. In his own insane way. Saber out right hated her and never really show any respect to her.

In his own way he does respect her but rarely shows it. He respected her as a fighter yet outside of battle he seem indifferent about her yet always found time when he was bored to tease her. What caught her off guard was that he got her a gift a few months ago. It was a pink ribbon, she hated it. She hated the color and it look so pink. It felt petty to feel that way her mother loved it and wanted her to wear it when she had tried to push her to do a contest. Queen never wanted to do anything like that. She was a warrior and fighter thru and thru . It later when Saber went to see if she was wearing it. He look sad that she was not wearing it. Yet Queen thought it was because he wanted to make fun of her. Though after that he never got her anything. Later her father , Kai, told her that he sensed that Saber had gone out of his way to get her that. Though Kai thought Saber stole it from somewhere.

Queen tried to be nice to him but he just start up on her making jokes about her name and that she was just a bully to her sister. Yes she did but it was to toughen her up. One day she would battle other pokemon as she and Saber do now. Queen's mother a few weeks ago pull her to the side and ask if any males caught her attention. Another of her kind or an arbok servine, or serperior.

It wasn't that Queen wasn't into males, just none really caught her eye. Some tried but being a serpent it was hard to find males that would warm up to her. Most other mon like her seem to be inferior as they always seem to lose to Saber, or were actually afraid of the zangoose. One arbok told her that he was afraid the zangoose would eat him. Queen laugh saying that Saber would only eat him if the arbok was covered in berry juice.

She looks at the still sick looking Saber as she sees the scar on his back where the horn had cut the zangoose despite his fur she could still see it. It was the last team battle they did. A Rhydon nearly impaled her. Saber took the brunt of that attack. If he didn't she would have been dead. Yet after the battle when she was going to thank him for saving her. He just told her if she moved any slower the slowpoke would always win the race with her. With that she nearly impaled him as Link caught her blade tail from doing any more harm. Saber would scream out loudly calling her a killer.

He always seem to get under her skin. She never knew why she put up with him. Yet battle after battle they would always win. Despite the lack of respect for each other. He was the most unbearable overstuff mon ever. Yet something deep down always made her put up with him. She was going to see if she could help the green looking Saber when Jeff showed up with a clean looking Link who was trying to go for the dirt when he was recalled as were Saber and her parents. As Jeff looks towards Queen she just sighs as the light engulfs her into the pokeball.

She floated in the darkness with her thoughts. She wonders if it was possible to really find love. Her mother wanted other cubs to play with but she had yet to find love. Yes she has thought about it, yet she could not bring herself to love anyone.

As queen drifted inside the poke ball she lost her train of thoughts and track of time when the light engulf her once more and she was in arena. Link had took off towards what look like a kirlia who belongs to Jeff's long time rival. Link seems to be trying to impress the kirlia who is giggling at the lucario's antics. Jeff and his rival who is a human who goes by the name of Vicky. She seems the opposite of Queen's trainer. She is up tight and believes in being a tough trainer. Queen wishes that her trainer would have some more common sense but that would like asking Saber to go on a diet... Not going to happen.

As she slithers over to Saber who is laying on the ground still looking sick. As both Gale and Kai both check to see if he was ok She is cut by a off seperior . He looks down at her as he seems to be look her over . Queen always hated these bastards mostly how full of shit they are. Fucking weeds always believing they were superior to all other snakes.

" You seem nice Queen is it?." He says in a low voice as he coils around her. One thing was she notice to late was that he was a large one bigger than she was. He moved closer to her his tongue darted out to lick her. She shivered in disgust. With that she head butted him away. The superior is dazed from the unexpected attack.

"Do not touch me. I am not your mate or lover. You have no right to do anything to me." Queen glares at the grass snake. As he smiles at her regaining his composure.

" You don't remember me do you? I was a young servine when we first met. My trainer seems to hate yours. " He nods to Jeff and Vicky who are both arguing. "She believes that you and your fellow pokemon are weak. I learned the hard way that is not true. You are a ruthless in battle as your are cunning. Yet of all things you are partner with a zangoose a mortal enemy of your kind. I do not see how you two are able to work together?"

Queen often wonder that. Saber was a zangoose but she grew up with him and they never had any problems besides the bickering between them.

" OH it seems that my trainer has talked to yours and has made the bet I asked for." The seperior just smiles, as that smiles sends a chill down her spine. As he slithers off she can hear her father in her head and he sounded angry. That was a rare thing for her father to be mad. He was usually calm and composed most of the time.

'What do you mean you wager my daughter to that bitch!!!' Jeff stumbles back as her mother looks depressed.

Jeff tries to say something to Kai but the alakazam cuts him off 'Do not speak to me. She is my daughter and you plan to gamble her away to that fucking bitch just to prove her wrong. I thought better of you!'

Queen looks at her father and then Jeff as she sees the earpiece. "Then all I have to do is win right Jeff?"

Kai looks at her. ' I will not lose my..'

Queen just smiles as she curls around her father. " You think so little of me? That I cannot win this battle father. " She snakes her tongue out and licks his face as she always did to show her sign of love to her father.

" I am not some little mon you have to worry about." Queen nuzzles Kai.

"I would hope not. I hate losing. Since I have to save the Queen her knight will ride to the rescue and I will be her sword ...well saber that is " Saber walks up looking better as he is eating a poffin

"You are a worthless plush toy. Thank you Saber." She smiles at him. He smiles back yet it fades as fast as he sticks his tongue out at her. Same ole Saber he will never let up.

"Don't worry mom I will be back to make Lin's life miserable." She slithers over to her mother and nuzzles her. " I won't lose with Saber."

Gale just glared at Jeff as he look ashamed at what he had done. Yet Queen was use to his stupidity. As they leave Saber gets another poffin from Jeff. Queen needed to know what the wager was. Jeff stutters it out. She was being wager for the kirlia that Vicky owns . Then it made sense why the serperior was so confident that she was going to be his.

That human was using Link's love of that little kirlia to get to her. Yet what pokemon would she use. She knew that serperior would not battle he would have said something yet she knew it might be a problem if Vicky used a fighting type to over power Saber. Not to say Saber isn't strong enough or fast enough to dodge an attacks. Yet since he was a normal type one hit could spell doom.

Fearow and a Gallade. This was not good as the fearow would stay in the air out of their reach. This was not going to be a easy battle. As Queen and Saber got into position. Saber looks calm. He closes his eyes to get ready for battle by releasing all his stress he told her once.

As Queen watches the furball get mentally ready she forget that the referee started with the battle. As the fearow takes flight. The gallade charge straight at Queen his arms glowing as he collides with Queen's razor tail. Sparks fly as the gallade is over powering Queen. She sees the fearow preparing to dive and skewer her. Where the fuck was Saber he was suppose to be protecting her. She catches him out of the corner of her eye and sees him charging up. He was going for the one hit kill. Knowing what is at stake he does that now? She sees the swords dance around him. Yet her opponent didn't give her chance to watch her partner ready himself for battle as the gallade presses his attack. Even using all her strength to keep the gallade at bay she could not dodge the fearow in time unless she let the gallade attack her. Either way she was screwed.

The fearow descends on Queen she see the beak close in on her. The gallade smiles as he knows she is about to be in a world of pain. In a flash a white furry body tackles the fearow in the air, and slams him to the ground. Saber made his move. Yet now he was on the other side of the ring, the tackle carried them there. Despite all that weight he had he could always move when he needed to. Also having that weight bear down on the fearow made it worthless to do anything, as Saber began to pound on the bird pokemon. The fearow could do little but take the hits as his wings were pinned to the ground.

The gallade broke from the clash between Queen and him. He rushes over to stop Saber from what looks like he is about to beat the fearow to death. Yet as the gallade is open to Queen yet she is still in shock as Saber is unaware of the gallade running towards him.

" SABER!!!!" Her voice rings out at the last second before the gallade is able to slash at Saber he moves out of the attacks path. With one swift movement he slashes at the gallade's stomach. The gallade stumbles to the ground clutching his stomach as blood seeps from from the wound given to him by the zangoose. Saber gets off the beaten fearow, and walks over to the down fighter as his clawed hands glow a bit he is about to end the match with extreme prejudice.

At that she hears her trainer yell at her to stop him other wise they will be disqualified. Queen moves as fast as she can move across the battle floor and is able to wrap her tail around his arm and stop Saber's final attack.

Saber looks at who is stupid enough to stop him. He looks at her with an angry glare then it softens when he realizes who it is. He pulls her close and hugs her. For a brief second she is taken aback as she can feel him hug her with not anger or a reason to hurt her, but a warm embrace. She starts to nuzzle him when he pushes her away. Then bops her on her head taking her by surprise. He begins to berate her calling her slow as a slowbro. She wants to be mad yet something is holding her back as she starts to cry.

"Happy now? You failed to get me. I was never a prize you could have anyway. " She scoffs at him as she begins to slither away.

" I was hoping you would see me as a mate or lover. Yet I think my trainer got over zealous in her attempt to get you for me. Still I see you have a knight already Queen. One I would never expect you to have, one of his kind." He says softly as he coils around her once more. Queen's tail blade is at his throat. " I can see I have no place in your heart, though I think another is there." He looks at Saber who is cowering before Gale as Kai tries his best to keep her from killing the zangoose. " Be careful if you keep it hidden from him. You may never get another chance." He uncoils from around her and slithers off to his irate trainer. As he leaves Queen looks at Saber who is running now as Gale chases him screaming at him saying he almost lost her daughter by being an idiot.

"One chance..." Queen mumbles.

~later that night~

It has been a party at Jeff's house since they arrived home. Link was the happiest she had ever seen him. Even more happier than when he jump rooftop to rooftop on a scooter. Yet as she does he notices something near her tip of her blade tail. Under the blade there is a ribbon tied to it. A pink one.

He mulls it over as he follows her. He does remember giving it to her yet. He did it just to have a joke on her as soon as would have worn it he was going to tease her. Yet after all this time she is finally wearing it. He runs right into Queen not realizing she had stop and basically trips into her as the roll a bit on the ground she becomes wrap around Saber.

After a bit they stop as Saber sits up with Queen wrap around him.
