#5 of Bunny Tails

Well, here it is! Chapter 4 has been a pivotal point for me in that I had to make a major decision as far as which of two paths I was going to take the story. I feel that my choice is the right one and I hope all of you agree! That being said I have come to a decision that I did not think I would even consider. I plan on eventually going back and following the path that I did not choose in order to work with some of the ideas I had in mind for my characters. At this point I am not sure if I am going to use a totally different set of characters or if I am just going to write an alternate version of Bunny Tails. I have plenty of time to decide though! Now enough of my babbling, on to my other works, which will include Chapter 5! Take care everyone! I hope you all enjoy! :3

Klaus woke suddenly from his fitful slumber. His eyes stared into the night focusing lazily as he tried to breathe deeply and cam his heart which was pounding in his chest. He looked over at Miles who was sound asleep, his arm gripping the bunny's waist tightly. Klaus sighed and could not help but smile. He felt safe like this, with Miles snuggled up close holding him. The wolf always held him in his sleep, keeping his bun safe and warm against him. Klaus snuggled back against the fur on his mate's chest. Miles stirred slightly, smiling as he moved his arm up and ran his paw through the fur on Klaus's stomach. Klaus smiled and kissed the wolf on his muzzle lightly. He then turned and stared into the darkness as his thoughts on what had happened earlier began to surface.

Chance seemed like such a good guy. He and Miles have been friends for so long yet the horse had betrayed Miles multiple times. Klaus frowned as he thought of what all Chance had revealed in their encounter. He looked again at his sleeping mate. Miles should know....I should tell him what happened...He would believe me over Chance... right? Klaus frowned further. Could he really tell Miles? The wolf has been so excited that his best friend is going to the same school, could he really ruin that happiness by telling him about what happened? Klaus shook his head with a soft sigh. No...I can't do that to him... Chance will probably leave me alone now anyway... He thought, more hopeful than matter-of-fact. Klaus closed his eyes and tried to breathe steadily. He finally fell into another fitful sleep. His dreams were those of darkness. Of being in a room with things unseen caressing him as he tried to scream and call for help. He lay down in that darkness, those unseen paws running over him. He sobbed softly into the quiet gloom, pleading for Miles to come rescue him from this hell.

"Klaus....sweetheart...please wake up...." Miles whispered, concern permeated his voice as he struggled to hold panic at bay. He sighed and smiled as Klaus opened his eyes slowly, "Thank goodness... I was starting to get worried..."

Klaus sat up groggily and looked around. His mind was racing with thoughts of the dream; the things that had been done to him and whispered in his ear. He looked over and saw the look of worry on his mate's face. He smiled, "Hey love. I'm sorry... I just did not sleep well so I guess my body just refused to wake up." He smiled as the wolf sighed and smiled back. Klaus leaned in and kissed the wolf softly, not intending for it to be a long one. Miles held him there kissing him passionately. Klaus melted into his arms willingly. The bunny's thoughts dissolved into a haze as Miles' kiss invigorated him. He pushed the wolf down onto the bed and lay there atop him kissing lovingly. He moaned softly into the wolf's muzzle as Miles held him tight.

When they finally pulled away they both were short of breath. Miles smiled, "Bun you sure know how to take it out of a guy. I feel sorry for everyone else since they will never be able to experience you." He smiled lovingly and ran his paw over the bunny's cheek. Klaus closed his eyes and nuzzled his mate's paw. He laid his head back down onto Miles' chest and sighed. "What's wrong babe? You are acting a bit strange. Where is that bubbly Klaus that I always wake up to in the morning?" Miles asked softly.

Klaus looked up at him, staring into the wolf's ice-blue eyes intently. "Miles... Do you love me? I mean... I know you do... but I just want to hear it..." Klaus's ears fell back slowly as he blushed in embarrassment. Why did I ask that?

Miles wrapped his arms around his mate and hugged tightly. "Klaus I have been through some rough relationships in my past. I have felt like I was in love before and I have been hurt every time. With you it is different. With you I do not think I am in love, I know. I look at you and my heart beats wildly in my chest. Having you in my arms causes me to halt for fear that if I were to let go you would slip out of my reach forever. When you smile I know that nothing in this world could ever make me feel unloved. I love you and I will always love you. Since the day we met I have felt this way. I will feel this way until the day that I die." He smiled as he nuzzled Klaus.

Klaus's eyes brimmed with tears as he buried his head into the wolf's chest in order to hide his trembling lower lip. He bit his tongue in order to stem the oncoming flow of tears and held himself there until he gathered the strength he needed to look into his mate's eyes. "I love you too. Miles I want you to know this. Never forget that you mean everything to me." He wiped his eyes as his tears returned.

Miles looked down at him, concern filling his face. "Klaus what is wrong? Why do you seem so upset?"

"I'm not! I just... never want to lose you." Klaus hugged his mate tightly.

"You will never lose me love. I promise." Miles smiled and kissed Klaus on the forehead. "Now, you probably should get ready. You have a class at 11 remember? I have to get going or I am going to be late, and I don't really need to give Dr. Lightfoot a reason to dock points from me"

Klaus looked over at the clock in the nightstand. He sighed as he indeed saw that it was Monday, though he had 2 and a half hours before his class was to start. The weekend seemed so short. He kissed Miles once more before hopping up to grab a shower. Klaus let the warm water rush over him. He tried to suppress the thoughts of yesterday and found that it was much easier now that school helped to preoccupy his mind. His first class of junior year at Southpaw University. He was somewhat excited about the start of this semester. He would start the morning off with an abnormal psychology lecture followed by what was the only course he dreaded this year, Public Speaking. He had put it off for two years, yet his advisor insisted that he go ahead and get it over with this semester. He sighed and ran his fingers through his hair. Miles was always so good at talking to people. His confidence and charm meant that people were drawn to him no matter where he went. He always seemed to be able to make friends. Klaus finished bathing and stepped out of the shower.

After completing his morning routine he threw on some jeans and a shallow blue V-neck and went to grab breakfast. He was just finishing up when the loud honk of a car horn drew his attention. He stepped out and smiled as he saw his ride pull up. Klaus's car had been borrowed by his sister for the past two weeks since her own was in the shop so he had to rely on a friend of his when Miles had to leave early.

Raine was quite the character. She and Klaus had hit it off almost immediately during their freshman orientation and had been friends ever since. She was a tall, curvaceous tigress with a very outgoing personality. Talkative, mildly intelligent, and always curious she was one of the only people Klaus felt a connection with in his class. She grinned as she saw him walk out the door. "Geez bunny you are way slow this morning. You're going to make us late!"

Klaus smiled and giggled softly, "I think that is saying a lot coming from someone whose internal clock is an hour behind. We have 45 minutes to get there!" He winked playfully as he jumped in the passenger seat. "And how is milady tiger this morning?"

Raine laughed and shut her own door. "I'm good. Can't say that I am looking forward to starting classes again... But hey we won't have any classes with the asshole jocks this year!" She laughed as she pulled onto the main road. "How about you Klaus? Things going well? I see your puppy hasn't driven you too insane." They both laughed at that. It was her running joke to refer to Miles as Klaus's "puppy". It drove him crazy to no end. Miles and Raine got along well though they both had a habit of picking on each other. She acted a bit like an older sister. Raine was the same age as Miles but had taken off school a year to travel.

The two talked about their summer as they drove. Raine had gone hiking with her older brother and his friends. Klaus was a bit envious of her vacations but he always felt like he got the better end of the deal when he told her of his time spent with Miles. He spoke of their time at the beach as well as the week they spent in the mountains. That week Miles had been raving about the fishing he was going to do when they arrived. He went fishing once, the rest of the time being spent in the cabin snuggled up with Klaus. When he got to this past weekend he froze as memories began to invade his head. Raine's ears perked as she glanced at him curiously. "Well? Are you going to finish? Who was this "friend" of Miles? Is he cute? Single?" She winked, chuckling softly.

Klaus turned to look out the window. "His name is Chance. He transferred to play football...'

"Ah well damn. Not my type then. His head is probably too far up his own ass to ever be attractive, although..." She hesitated, looking at Klaus with a grin. "Miles quit for you, so if this guy is anything like Miles then he may get lucky enough to attract me." She winked at the bunny playfully.

Klaus sighed with relief as they pulled into the student parking lot. Klaus hopped out and he and Raine took their time walking to class. Raine took up her usual habit of poking fun at others. It consisted mostly of giving little nicknames to furs she did not know based on little quirks she noticed about them. She said it kept her aware of those around her, though Klaus was not quite sure if that was really the reason.

The rest of the day was relatively uneventful. Klaus and Raina ate lunch together under their willow tree as usual. As they walked back to class Klaus heard a voice shout his name. He turned and his hair stood on end. Chance was walking their way. The horse was smiling confidently as he approached. "Hey buddy how are ya? And who is this lovely feline you're with?" He winked at Raina, causing her to raise an eyebrow in amusement.

"I'm Raina, and you must be Chance." She replied casually, looking him over curiously.

Chance glanced at Klaus curiously, "Oh? Been talking about me have you? Well I hope good things. I feel like we hit it off when you were at the house. We had this connection you know?" He looked at Raina, returning her once over eagerly. "I think next time you should bring this gorgeous creature along with you. My apologies miss Raina but you are stunning. I think we should have lunch sometime." He gave her another confident smile and Klaus could tell he had piqued her interest.

"I think that could be arranged... Let me check my schedule but I'm sure I could pencil you in." She gave a low lusty chuckle. She quickly wrote her number down on a scrap of paper and handed it to him. "I'll leave you boys to chat. Klaus I'll be in the classroom. Nice meeting you Chance. "She gave him a playful wink and walked away, her hips swaying seductively.

"Shit man she is some nice piece. Though..." He said as he leaned in close, "I doubt her ass half as nice as yours." He grinned as Klaus blushed.

Klaus glared icily at the stud, "What do you want Chance? I have to get to class."

Chance drew back as if struck. "Geez man calm down. We are friends right? So what if I copped a feel? Besides you can't be acting like this in front of Miles. I do however give you permission to act like this when we are alone..." He grinned as he pushed Klaus through a nearby door, pinning him to the wall as he locked the door behind them. "That whole cold bitch aura really turns me on."

Klaus prickled and tried to push Chance off of him. "Chance, we can't be in here. Someone probably saw you push me in here. Besides I need to get to class." He gasped as the horse slammed him back against the wall.

Chance grinned and leaned in close, "No worries. No one saw. And as far as your class goes, just make it quick and we won't be too long here." He reached around and stroked Klaus's butt lustfully. "Oh and don't think about yelling. I would hate for everyone to know how you tried to frame me after I rebuffed your advances. Sound cliché? Well you would be surprised how well it works." He stood and began fumbling with his pants.

Klaus was stunned. He could not believe this was happening again. "Chance please... stop this... Miles..." He was cut off as Chance's paw clamped tightly around his throat.

"Do not say his name. I told you how this works. If you don't cooperate, you lose him. Simple as that." The big horse stood back up with a look of disdain that quickly turned into a look of sheer pleasure. He had pulled his cock out of his pants and it was now pressing against the Bunny's leg. It was huge. Klaus had never seen anything quite so large. He blushed and glanced up to see Chance grinning. "Like it? You little slut." He placed a paw on Klaus's shoulder, squeezing hard and forcing the bunny to his knees. "Now be a good little bunny and work on this cock. I am horny as hell so it shouldn't take too long." He pressed the bunny's head against the thick shaft.

Klaus whimpered as the large equine cock pressed against him. His mind raced to find a way out. There was no way he could do this. He couldn't betray Miles this way. It was then that he heard a faint click. He looked up to see Chance with his phone pointed down. Klaus shuddered as he realized what just happened. Chance smiled eagerly, "Well now, either suck me off or Miles gets this pic of you with your face all over some other horse's cock. There are plenty of other horses around to name, and some are even on the team. Get my meaning?"

Klaus felt his heart fall in his chest. He looked down at the floor in defeat. There was no way out. Chance had him backed into a corner. Miles would never believe him over his best friend. He looked up as Chance spoke, "How about this then. Since you wasted so much time and I have things to take care of, we can continue this later. I can't wait to have that hot little maw around my cock." He turned and adjusted himself before walking out.

Klaus sat in stunned silence. _What do I do now..._He wondered despairingly? He slowly stood, his stomach churning. He walked into his classroom and sat numbly in his chair. Raine looked at him curiously but he avoided looking at her. He fought tears back as he thought of what Miles would say if he found out what had happened. Part of him knew that Miles would believe him over Chance, yet part of him still worried that Miles would take Chance's side. His head throbbed as class ended. He walked silently beside Raine as she discussed the day's lecture with one of their classmates.

As they reached the parking lot Klaus was startled as a paw caressed his rear. He turned around swiftly to see Miles grinning playfully, "Heya cute bun, want a lift?" He blushed as Klaus embraced him tightly. "Well, I missed you too love." He looked up and greeted Raina, the two joking like old friends while Klaus listened and laughed.

They parted ways and Miles put his arm around his mate. Klaus nuzzled happily into the soft black fur. The two talked of their day on the ride home. Their dinner was spent laughing about Miles' professors troubles with the projector. "It seems that smashing a projector into the wall for it not working doesn't fix things. Plus it turns out that though the projector was plugged into the wall, it had come loose where the cord hooked into the projector." The wolf laughed happily as he spoke. Klaus was glad things seemed so normal. He sat beside Miles and snuggled up close, laying his head in the wolf's lap. Miles smiled down at his mate and ran his paw through Klaus's hair. "I missed you bun. I don't like having to be apart from you for so long."

Klaus smiled lovingly up at Miles. "I missed you too. I was a bit lonely without you..."

Miles chuckled and leaned his head back against the cushion, closing his eyes as he enjoyed having his mate in his arms. "Awe well at least Raina kept you company right?"

Klaus smiled when he saw Miles has closed his eyes. He reached up and gripped the wolf's waist band as if hugging him. "Yeah.... But she doesn't have this..." He pulled Miles' shorts down swiftly, exposing the wolf's sheath and furry sack. Miles looked down in surprise just in time to see Klaus take his sheath into his mouth. The big wolf moaned as he felt the bunny's tongue caress him. Klaus giggles around his sheath as he felt Miles growing erect inside his maw. It wasn't long before Miles was fully erect and shoved deep into Klaus's throat. The bunny bobbed up and down eagerly, moaning at the taste of his mate's cock and the pre-cum that was now leaking from his tip. He sucked eagerly at the thick shaft, riding it with his throat and feeling his mate tense and squirm in pleasure. It was not long before Miles let out a low growl. His hips bucked and he reached down with both paws and gripped Klaus's ears tightly. Klaus moaned and felt a shiver of pleasure shoot through his body. He almost doubled his pace around his mate cock. Miles growled deeper and he massaged the bun's ears as his hips stiffened. He moaned loudly as he released his load into his mate's warm maw. Klaus moaned as the hot seed shot down his throat. The bunny fought to swallow every drop before pulling his mate out of his maw, cum dripping down his muzzle. He smiled as he looked into his mate's eyes. Those beautiful blue eyes. His grin widened as he noticed Miles' cock still throbbing and hard. "Oh? Not enough?"

Miles grinned and pulled his mate onto him, kissing him passionately. "Never enough..." He said lovingly. Klaus kissed him deeply, slowly straddling the wolf and placing the tip of Miles' cock at his entrance. He moaned into the kiss as he pushed down onto the thick rod. Klaus pulled away and locked eyes with his mate. Light blue met dark blue as the bunny began to rise and fall. His pace quickened sharply as the thick shaft caressed his insides. Klaus moaned and arched his back. Miles had to reach out and catch his mate in fear that he might fall back. He grinned and locked his paws onto the bunny's waist. He stood up, causing Klaus to slide down which impaled the bunny ever further on the wolf's cock. They kissed passionately as Klaus was pounded unrelentingly. The thick cock tearing in and out of him, sending shivers down his spine. The wolf looked down at his mate and smiled as he laid the bunny onto the bed. Miles kissed him lightly once and stood up, grabbing Klaus's hips and holding tight. The bun's legs draped over his muscular forearms. The wolf's claws digging softly into the fur and flesh of his mate. Miles was careful not to break the skin. He began to slowly slide in and out of the bunny's tight entrance, but was soon pistoning in and out of the warm, welcoming hole. His knot slamming into the bunny over and over. Pre overflowing from the bunny with every thrust.

Klaus's moans increased in volume as he felt the knot begin to push its way into him. His head spun as the impending pleasure of his mate's knot brought him closer to his own orgasm. The air was filled with the sounds of their love-making. Miles growled deeply and howled as he slammed his knot into his mate, shooting load after load of hot seed deep into Klaus. The room spun for the bunny as he felt his limbs give out underneath him. His orgasm came as a wave of ecstasy washed over his body, causing his fur to stand on end. Klaus looked up at the blurred visage of his mate. Those loving blue eyes staring down at him from a muzzle that shone beautifully with sweaty black fur. The white of Miles' teeth was stark as he panted heavily over the bun. Klaus reached up slowly to stroke his mate's chin. He thought of how important Miles was to him. Without Miles he would not have come so far. "I had given up on it all before you came along..." He blushed when he realized he had just spoken that aloud.

Miles face was a mixture of worry and joy, "Love... Don't say things like that. Back then you were going through a lot but you are one of the strongest furs I know. You would have been fine. I'm just lucky I was able to meet you before someone else got to you first. I don't know what life would have been like for me if I you had not returned my feelings back then, but I do know that I would never have been as happy as I am now. I live so that I may love you. That you love me in return is more than I deserve." He smiled and kissed the bunny deeply, sighing into their passion as the warmth of their bodies melded. He pulled away and spoke softly, "And I will always love you. With all that I am I love you Klaus Nightfur. Nothing could ever change that."

Klaus blushed and felt his eyes sting as tears threatened to spring forth. He wiped his eyes and found the wolf chuckling at him. He smiled at his mate and giggled softly, "I cry much too easily... It is slightly embarrassing." He smiled back up at Miles as tears still streamed down his face.

Miles held his gaze locked onto Klaus's deep blue eyes. He wiped the tears away with a paw, tingling as the bunny's soft fur intermingled with his own. "I will always be here to wipe your tears away. So never be embarrassed about them."

Klaus felt his heart flutter. From deep within him a resolve and assurance rose forth like some large beast rising from a long slumber. His mind was made up. He lay the cuddling the wolf that lay on top of him, caressing the black fur lovingly. Miles is mine. How could I have ever doubted him? Klaus smiled and nuzzled his mate, murring happily. He had decided to tell Miles the truth about Chance. The only problem now was how.
