He was the last to step on the loading ramp of the gray C-130 as it sat on the runway a gray cloud slowly rolled over the sky blocking the sun. He looked back out the ramp to the group of people watching as there loved ones boarded the plane. Looking to the left he saw his friends and family holding a flag, smiling and waved goodbye to them as the ramp slowly closed and the rain began to fall on the group outside and as the plane started up a break in the gray clouds opened up letting a beam of light shine onto the single aircraft and it shined from the water on it. As the plane taxied and headed down the runway the cloud started to cover the break as the plane lifted off the tarmac into the sky and was out of sight. The soldier pulled out a picture of him and his best friends and on the back someone wrote "You come back home safe so we can keep the pack whole." The soldier choked up a little wiping away a tear from his eye
