The Dragonite and the Champion
To tell the truth, even though I had intended to make Jaden a recurring character, I too, found it really suck that his appearance was too short (Jaden and Latios are my favourite characters, because their bond is stronger than any other couple in my stories, even more than Jake and Lucario), so...I decided to write an extra chapter about him and Latios, this one takes place right after the previous chapter. Just a little adventure with some smexy scenes as bonuses (Also, because it's been a long time since the last time I wrote something sexual, the sex scene in this story will be a little short. After having given Jake and Ryan the mega stones, Jaden asked Latios to give him a ride and they continued to fly through Eterna Forest. While they were flying, Latios was still puzzled by his lover's decision. Latios nodded as he angled himself and sped up to head for the direction Jaden mentioned. Once they finally got there, Jaden quickly climbed off his mate and ran over to check the injured pokemon, which was quickly recognized: A Buneary.
"A new pokemon." Jaden muttered and pulled out his silver pokedex, "Let see..."
Buneary, the Rabbit Pokemon. By quickly extending its rolled-up ears, it can launch powerful attacks against its enemies.
"Are you okay?" Jaden asked as he tried to examine the pokemon's injuries, but Buneary seemed to be scared by the trainer's present, as it tried to get away from Jaden.
"Hey, don't worry little guy..." Jaden explained, trying to make it sound as soft and genuine as possible (his intention was genuine alright), "I know you're hurt, and I want to help you, please."
"It's okay, you can trust him." Latios added. Buneary looked at the Eon pokemon, then at Jaden. It took ahile, but it finally calmed down a little and let Jaden come near to check its wounds. May be it was Latios' majestic and soothing appearance that made Buneary feel relaxed.
"What a mess! You've got wounds all over your body, thanksfully none of them is lethal. Latios, hold this for me please," Jaden said, handing Latios his backpack after pulling out some items from it, including some bandages and healing potions. The trainer quickly, yet precisely, sprayed the potion on Buneary's injured parts, then patched them with bandages.
"That ought to do the tricks," Jaden said while wipping the sweat away from his forehead, "You see, I just want to help. Now if you don't mind, please tell me what happened?"
"I..." Buneary muttered, still seemed hesitant to trust Jaden. It casted a quick glance at Latios, who nodded assuringly, "I, and other pokemon in the forest...we were ambushed by a group of human. They said they wanted to capture a powerful pokemon in this forest, and they would use us as baits..."
Jaden was so angry that he could have sworn his blood felt as if it was boiling in every single one of his veins. How could someone be so wicked, to the point of attacking and having nearly killed innocent pokemon just for their own use, their selfish ambitions? No, as a trainer and a champion, it was his duty to stop those evil-doers!
"Do you know what kind of pokemon those human wanted to capture?" Jaden asked, gritting his teeth in an attemp to restrain his fury. Buneary nodded, "It was a Dragoni-..."
Their conversation was suddenly interrupted by a loud explosion nearby the place they were standing. The trainer quickly turned to Buneary, "Listen to me, Buneary! It's not safe to stay here, so I want you to get away as far as possible, and if you spot any pokemon, alert them of the danger. Now go!"
The rabbit pokemon nodded and quickly ran away.
"Latios..." Jaden muttered, his hands clenched into fists and trembled violently, "Let's teach those bastard a lesson...A lesson they will _never_forget!"
Heading for the source of the explosion, Jaden and Latios crossed several trees and bushes, until a horrifying scene came into their sight: A big, orangish pokemon was being surrounded by a group of ten human and and a bunch of pokemon that Jaden had never seen before.
"Dragonite? So that's the pokemon those guys want to catch." Jaden exclaimed, now looking at the group of human. They all wore some kind of nutty spacesuit-like uniforms with an modified "G" letter embroidered on their chests, and have the same crazy-looking hair style. Jaden guessed they were in some sort of criminal organization.
Jaden moved a little closer and hid behind a tree to have a better view. The Dragonite seemed incredibly strong and tenacious, as he was still struggling to counter the enemies' attacks. But no matter how strong you were, being outnumbered was still a huge disadvantage, and Jaden could tell Dragonite was near to complete exhaustion, judging from the copius amount of sweat on his face, as well as his heavy pantings.
"Glalie, use ice beam!" one of the human ordered. Jaden flinched, ice beam was an ice-type move, thus it was super effective against Dragonite. Were they really going to use such a move against the exhausted pokemon? At this rate, Dragonite would die before those people even got the chance to capture him. As Jaden were lost in his thoughts, a spherical, horned pokemon floated towards Dragonite with a blue energy ball in front of it. Blue lightning-like beams then shot from the ball at Dragonite.
"Damn it! Latios, use protect!" Jaden said. With his incredible speed, the Eon pokemon was able to get in front of Dragonite instantly. His eyes then glowed, and a dark blue barrier formed around his and Dragonite, deflecting the ice beams.
"What in the world?" the human who had just ordered the ice beam said in shock. Dragonite also had a stunned look on his face, "Who are you?"
"I'm here to help you. Don't worry." Latios replied as he glanced back at Dragonite with an assuring smile. At the same time, Jaden also decided to step out of his hidding place to confront the group of human.
"Who are you to interfere with team Galactic?" one of the human asked. Jaden shot him a disgusted look and pointed his finger at the group, now team Galactic, "I don't care who you are, but your evil deeds will end right here and now. In the name of a trainer and a champion, I will not allow anyone to harm innocent pokemon for their selfish goal! Latios, blow those bastards away with dragon pulse!"
The Eon pokemon nodded and put his arms together, channeling very bit of his power into this single attack. Blue waves of light could be seen gathering between his arms in spiral motions, forming an turquoise energy ball.
"Eat this!" Latios exclaimed and fired his energy ball at team Galactic. The ball explosed as it hit the target, blasting the members of team Galactic and their pokemon all over the place.
"Had enough?" Jaden asked, his voice was quiet but extremely dangerous. Even Latios shivered a little, because he'd never seen Jaden express such a frightening fury.
"Retreat, retreat!" came an order, but Jaden couldn't spot who made it (he didn't care anyway). The members of team Galactic quickly retrieved their pokemon and fled. Jaden smirked as he enjoyed the sight of his enemies running away, but suddenly snapped when he remembered something even more important, "Dragonite!"
When Jaden turned around, Dragonite had already collasped from exhaustion and the punishments by team Galactic. Running over the pokemon, Jaden got on his knees to examine Dragonite's wounds. It was alot worse than he thought. The trainer quickly took out a berry from his backpack, then craddled Dragonite with his arms as he tried to ferd the berry to the pokemon, "Here, eat this pecha berry. It will make you feel better."

"Can you look after Dragonite for me? I'll be back in no time." Jaden asked.

A sharp headache struck Dragonite as he tried to open his eyes again. Several parts of his body were also aching with pain, but they didn't hurt as much as before. Running his eyes around, Dragonite realized that he was lying on a nest of leaves, a thick, comfortable blanket covered his chest and a warm, cracking fire rested on his left side. There was another bigger fire not very far on the left, right in front of a small tent which was big enough for 2 people.
"Where is this place? And who were they...the human and pokemon that saved me?" Dragonite asked himself mentally. Before any possible answer popped up in his head, the dragon pokemon suddenly spotted 2 figure walking through the trees, slowly approaching him. Dragonite tried to stand up and defend himself, but the aching body didn't allow him. However, the pokemon soon sighed in relief as he realized those 2 figures were none other than his helpers, Jaden and Latios.
"Dragonite!" Jaden exclaimed and he ran over to the pokemon, "Thanks goodness you're awake."
"Who are you? Why did you help me?" Dragonite asked.
"Easy now...I will answer your questions, but first you need to eat. Here..." Jaden said softly and placed some berries in front of Dragonite, "I was trying to find some pecha berries cuz they will help you heal faster, but there wasn't any in this forest, so I got some of these oran berries instead. If only we had more pecha berries, but the one I gave you was my last one."

Taking a deep breath, Dragonite began, "Jaden...In order to avoid those bad people, I've traveled through places, many forests, but in the end they still managed to find, as well as trying to capture me, and many innocent pokemon have been caught in our battles. I don't want this...If my existance causes other to suffer, then I just want to disappear from this world. But I found something different in you, so I've dediced...to gamble one last time. I'll leave this forest with you, but I want you to promise me one thing: Use my power to protect the weak, to defend justice. Can I place my last bit of trust in you?"
"You can, I promise!" Jaden declared. He reached his belt for an empty pokeball. Dragonite looked at the ball in Jaden hand, then nodded and pressed the button with one of his claws.
