#3 of Bunny Tails

As promised here is Chapter 3 as well! Not really any sex in this one unfortunately as it did not really fit well into what went on in this chapter. I do hope that this chapter does not end up disappointing anyone as I promise it is integral for the continuance of the plot! As always any and all constructive criticism is very much appreciated! Take care everyone!! :3

Miles put the truck in park and looked up at the house ahead of them. Klaus looked around at the land surrounding the place. The yard was rather large and open. A garage off to the side of the house held a tarp covered car and seemed to be neat and tidy on the inside. Miles smiles over at Klaus as the wolf opened the door and stepped out. Klaus smiled back, trying not to let his unease show through. The truth was that he still could not forget the look Chance had given him earlier that day. He still felt dirty from it. Before shutting the door he reached over and pulled one of Miles' hoodies from the back seat and threw it on. It was much too big on him, which suited him perfectly for the moment. He shut the door and looked over to see Miles looking at him curiously.

"A bit hot for a hoodie babe. Are you feeling ok?" Miles said with an undertone of worry lacing his voice. He stepped over quickly, placing the back of his paw to the bunny's forehead. "Hmm... You don't feel like you have a fever or anything..."

Klaus smiles and spoke quickly, "I'm fine! I guess I just haven't gotten used to the weather change yet. Probably just feeling icky from getting soaked yesterday on the way inside the bar..." Klaus smiled brightly and pushed Miles towards the door. Klaus followed diligently. He couldn't let on to Miles what was really wrong, not when he is so excited to see his best friend for the first time in so long.

He sighed softly as they ascended the stairs. Miles knocked on the door and stepped back, placing his arm around Klaus and rubbing his shoulder lovingly. The door opened and Chance stepped out with a grin spread across his face. He was so tall, at least a couple of inches over Miles. His upper body was bare. His well-muscled chest and stomach were both a deep brown with a strip of white reaching around the left side of his stomach and over the same shoulder. His black athletic shorts hung low around his waist. His eyes went straight to Klaus and he gave the bunny a kindly smile before looking to Miles. The stallion smiled at his old friend as they went in for a rather rough hug. "Damn it's good to see you two! Come in and make yourselves at home! There is beer in the fridge and also some wine if the bun prefers something a bit sweeter!" He laughed and looked at Klaus with a friendly air of nonchalance.

Klaus smiled back, letting go a soft sigh of relief. He had just been imagining things after all! Chance was too good of a guy to give off that vibe. It must have been Brent making him so nervous. Klaus looked up at chance with an agitated stare, "Excuse me, I may look girly but I'm not a total wimp. Beer is fine!" He smiled, giggling softly as Chance laughed. And clapped him on the shoulder gently.

"Ha! Good to see Miles has someone that can put up with his shit! Beer it is then. The living room is right down the hall if you two want to go ahead and get comfy. I will have dinner ready in a bit! The horse gestured down the hall before disappearing into the kitchen.

Klaus looked up at Miles who was chuckling softly. "Geez that guy never changes." He looked down at his mate and smiled, "Want to grab a seat love?" He asked while wrapping an arm around the bun's waist.

Klaus blushed and smiled, nodding happily as Miles led him into the living room. They sat down and Klaus took off the hoodie as it was a bit warm in the house. He leaned onto the wolf's shoulder and surveyed the room curiously. There were football posters everywhere. Shelves were lined with sports memorabilia, video games, and movies with some questionable titles. Pictures of Chance from what must have been high school hung above the fireplace. Klaus was drawn to one in particular and hopped up eagerly to run over and get a closer look. Sure enough it was a picture of Chance and Miles, both had their football jerseys on and their arms around a couple of attractive looking cats in cheerleading uniforms. The one next to Miles had her hand on his stomach playfully. Klaus sniffed derisively as he heard Miles come up behind him.

"Something wrong? That sound is never good coming from you." He chuckled briefly before halting as his eyes found the picture Klaus was holding. "Oh....well then..."

"I had no idea you were into the bimbo type... She looks like a real keeper buddy. What happened?" Klaus asked, his voice dripping with sarcasm as he looked up at Miles.

The wolf cleared his throat and opened his mouth, but his answer was interrupted by Chance bursting through the kitchen door with drinks on a platter. He stopped as he saw the two, "Damn guys what's with the heavy air in here? Something wrong?" His eyes moved to the picture in Klaus's hand and he froze. His look of curiosity melting as he burst out laughing. "HAHAHAHA! Oh wow... I'm so sorry man I should have put that one away. I did not know Klaus was the jealous type! Man no worries there! You should probably thank her really! Hahaha. She was the last girl ol' Miles here dated. Bitch was a total slut too! Cheated on him like eight times before yours truly caught wind of it and ratted her out. No one is two-timing my bro." He smiled and clapped Miles on the shoulder as the wolf grimaced, looking down at Klaus anxiously.

Klaus expression softened before taking on a look of forced aggravation. "And you just remember that! Girls can be bitches. That is why I have to take care of you, otherwise you would never last." The bunny closed his eyes and stifled a giggle as Chance roared with laughter.

"I like him Miles! I guess I have no choice but to approve! Glad to really meet you Klaus, I hope we can become real good friends yeah?" He reached out a paw to Klaus with a grin.

Klaus shook the horse's paw firmly. He smiled and winked playfully at Miles who was sticking his tongue out at his mate. Klaus giggled and placed his paw on the wolf's stomach as he looked up at him smiling. Miles rested his paws on the Bunny's waist and smiled, chuckling softly.

"Well I guess I will go set out the food while you two make googly eyes at each other." Chance grinned at his own joke and stepped back into the kitchen.

"Well you two are getting along well! I was worried that he would be a bit loud for your tastes." Miles said as he squeezed the bunny's hips lightly.

Klaus raised an eyebrow, "I can put up with your other friends can't I? Chance is no louder than Race is."

Miles chuckled, "Well, Race is Scottish so it is kind of expected that he is loud. Plus the fact that he is pretty much never sober."

Klaus giggled softly as he remember meeting the Terrier for the first time. Race had gotten up to say hello and fallen right down onto the floor. It would have been much less funny if it had not taken place in the middle of the cafeteria during breakfast. "That is true, but if he was any other way then his parties would not be half as hilarious." He looked over as Chance shoved open a set of shutters that Klaus had not noticed before. As the shutters slid apart the kitchen became visible. It was nice and tidy with a level of organization that was oddly out of place when comparing it to the living room. Klaus looked back around and rethought the set-up. Now that he really looked at things he saw that while the room looked cluttered, it had an air of organization about it as well. The posters were perfectly squared and not even one picture was out of place, save for the one he had picked up earlier. Chance must be really OCD... He thought with some mild amusement. He and Miles did have some similarities after all.

Chance placed three plates onto the bar, each one holding a steaming portion of stir-fried vegetables and some type of fish. Klaus inhaled the delicious aroma and pulled Miles over to sit on the stool beside them. "You two help yourselves! I thought the fish would be a bit lighter since our dear Klaus is not a huge meat-eater." He smiled and began to eat.

Klaus thanked him and began eating. The meal was delicious; each portion cooked to perfection. Klaus looked up to listen to Miles and Chance talk about how the rest of their old high school friends were doing. Chance seemed to have stayed in touch with most of them, Miles filling in the gaps where he could. Klaus sat back after eating only half of what was on his plate. Chance looked up curiously, "Everything ok man? You can't possibly be full already!" He said with a hint of worry.

Klaus blushed which set Miles to laughing. "Ha yeah he never really eats too much at one time. Unless sweets are involved." Miles winked at him. Klaus blushed furiously.

"Nothing wrong with that! As long as the food is good right? Besides I guess that is how he stays so petite right?" Chance said with an appreciative look.

"Hey eyes to yourself there stud. This little rabbit already has a mate." Miles said somewhat protectively, though his tone was joking.

"C'mon Miles! You know me better than that! I don't play for that side buddy. I mean nothing against it, just not my thing! Not when there are so many girls around. I mean I am loving this college! The football team is seriously lacking at the moment, but they are really taking their training seriously. And the girls.... Now that has been fantastic!" The horse gave a boyish grin. "Anyway, so what are you two up for after dinner? I think a movie would be good right?"

Klaus smiled and looked at Miles. The wolf grimaced slightly before smiling, "Yeah bud! A movie sounds great! Your choice, though try and choose something we will all enjoy?"

Chance gave a disappointed sigh, "Ah damn. Well that rules out porn I assume. Oh well, I have other movies we can try." He chuckled as he walked out of the kitchen to join the two in the living room. "Tell you what, Klaus you can choose! If you head out the back door there you will see what looks like a large shed. That is actually a small movie theater me and the roomie set up. Just a projector and some old couches but hey it's still pretty nice! Just go in there and on the back wall is where we keep everything. Just take your pick and Miles and I will meet you there after we clean up!"

Klaus smiled and nodded at the two before turning and heading out the door. He took a moment to look around a bit more at the yard. It was well kept and he could tell that a lot of care had been taken to manage the look of the surrounding foliage even before Chance moved in. Klaus saw the shed and his eyes lit up in surprise. It was a large building for just a shed. In the shape of an old barn the place was painted a light cream color and seemed almost brand new. The bunny opened the door and gasped as he looked around. It was amazing. Six couches lined the floor in two rows with each one that was behind the other was placed on a wooden platform so that it was just a bit higher than the one in front. The screen was huge and an expensive looking projector hung from the ceiling. Klaus looked over behind the couches and saw a large bookshelf filled with DVDs. He walked over and ran a paw across the dark wood of the shelf. He began to look around at the selection and was quite impressed with the vast array of movies present. It seemed like Chance had a good selection from each genre. The bunny was so engrossed in trying to find a film he wanted that he almost missed the creak of the door closing.

Klaus turned to see Chance walking in; Miles was not with him. Klaus smiled as the stallion came up beside him looking at the movies on the shelf. "Tough decision right? I have way too many movies... I buy whatever I end up liking, even if I never end up watching it again. See? Some of these still have the plastic wrapping on them." He turned to look at the bunny with a wide grin. "No rush though right? Miles ran to grab some more beer for us so he may be a while."

Klaus looked up curiously, "I did not think the nearest place was that far away. Why would it take him a while?"

"Oh he took my Mustang for a spin. A '67 Shelby. Very nice, though it tends to have some engine problems every now and then. It is a work in progress after all." Chance chuckled and fingered the movies one by one as if trying to decide which one to pick. "Hmm...How about something funny? A good comedy always ends the night well!" He smiled over at Klaus who was still readily browsing the collection of films.

"That sounds good to me! I am always up for a laugh!" Klaus smiled happily.

Chance raised an eyebrow, "Yeah you do seem like you enjoy a good time. I myself never pass up a chance at a good time..." His smile turned to a mischievous grin, like a child about to pull a prank. Klaus giggled softly and continued to browse. He was intently reading the back of a movie he thought promising when he felt a paw caress his rear softly. He stiffened and looked over to see Chance still grinning on him, his paw rubbing Klaus softly. Klaus pulled away, dropping his ears slowly. Chance raised an eyebrow at the bunny's rebuff, "What's wrong bun? Am I not attractive enough for you?" He stepped forward and reached his paw up once more towards Klaus's bottom.

Klaus stepped back further, "I'm sorry Chance, but I am with Miles. I love him and I would never do something that could hurt him. I am flattered but I think you should stop ok?" Klaus tried to smile warmly at the horse.

His smile faded as Chance's demeanor darkened. "Well, you see there is a little problem. I have always...sampled whoever my buddy Miles has dated. Call it quality control. That kitty in there in the picture? Yeah I was one of the guys she fucked while she and Miles were together. A nice piece of ass for sure, but I got bored with her pretty fast so I ratted her out. She tried to incriminate me, but honestly who would Miles believe? The cheating whore? Or his best friend since childhood? He has always been a hopeless romantic so the fact that she cheated at all sealed her fate. Plus, why would I tell if I was one of the culprits? Pretty genius if I do say so myself!" He laughed softly and stepped towards Klaus, backing the bunny up against a wall. "Now just be a good bunny-boy and enjoy yourself. I am told I have magic hands, though I have never used them on a guy before. But, you have a nicer ass than the majority of the girls I have been with, so I will make an exception for you." He reached up and caressed Klaus's cheek softly.

Klaus shivered at the touch as he looked up into the stallion's eyes. They held that same look as before, when they ran into him and Brent at the mall. Klaus felt his heartbeat begin to quicken. A sense of unease started to spread though him. "Chance seriously. This is making me a tad uncomfortable... Stop now and I won't say anything to Miles ok?' Klaus knocked Chance's paw out of the way and headed for the door. He was jerked back as the horse grabbed his arm roughly and slammed him back against the wall, almost knocking the breath from him. Klaus looked up pleadingly, "Chance please... Why are you doing this?"

Chance scoffed loudly, "Miles always has it perfect. He's always so happy with what life has handed him, and why not be? I mean, he was always the one to get the girls. Even though I was the better one at sports. I spent more time in the weight room. I bested him in every possible way! Well... minus academics but that is beside the point. Now he decides that he is just gay and I am supposed to deal with it? Fine, I can handle that. Then he says to me "Oh you need to meet my boyfriend! He's so amazing!" So of course my thoughts are 'Oh he is dating some dude' and I am picturing a guy like us you know? And I will be damned if you don't walk up. I'm not attracted to guys, but I had to admit you are one hot piece of ass! So I tell myself that this presents an interesting opportunity. I saw you check me out when we first met, so I decided when I got the chance I would see just how much like a girl you really are. I must say, the feel of that ass did not disappoint... but I'm not through yet. Now, we have wasted enough time." Chance held Klaus pinned to the wall with one paw while the other went back to caress his bottom once more. The stallion slipped his fingers under the Bunny's jeans and began to slowly push his paw down. He stopped and reached around to the front, fumbling with the button on the front of the bun's pants. Klaus squirmed and whimpered as he felt his jeans loosen as the button came unfastened. Chance grinned and slipped his hand under the jeans and began to feel Klaus's bare bottom. He ran a finger to the bunny's entrance and began to rub softly. The horse looked down with a curious grin to see the front of his athletic shorts begin to bulge. "Fuck man you are getting me hard. Never thought a guy would be the cause." He pressed a fingertip hard into the tight hole, pressing it in slowly. Klaus whimpered as the horse's large finger penetrated him. The horse smiled widely. "Look at the little slut, blushing when another guy fingers you. I knew you weren't such a good bunny, that face says it all."

Klaus glared icily at the horse. The bunny then grinned widely as he brought his foot up hard into Chance's crotch. The big horse went down hard. Klaus moved to the door and turned around before exiting, "Don't ever touch me again you stupid fuck. Just wait till Miles hears about this. I'll be happy to watch him kick your ass." Klaus's smile was filled with pleasure at the prospect. Miles may seem docile, but it was never a good idea to get on the bad side of a wolf.

Chance spoke, his voice a barely audible whisper, "I wouldn't do that if I were you.... Fuck that hurt." He stood up slowly as the bunny glared at him, curiosity mixed in with the anger. "Little shit.... Think about it. You may be his little boytoy, but do you think he would ever believe that his childhood friend would do this to him? I cemented his trust in me a long time ago with that cheating bitch in high school, I feel pretty confident that I could say that you were very rude to me. You are jealous of our friendship so you don't want us to hang out right? I sure would hate to cause trouble in your little perfect relationship."

Klaus paused, "No... He would believe me... He loves me... We have been together for two years now....He knows I am not like that."

"Does he? I mean you sure got jealous of the girl in the picture. Was that unlike you as well? I think you should really think about whether or not your story is really believable. I mean, I am not even into dudes remember? And honestly, I think you were coming on to me just after he left..." Chance stood, a bright smile lit up his face. "Now then, how about we just sweep this whole thing under the rug? I think it would be more beneficial to the both of us, ok?" He chuckled as he walked out the door, slapping Klaus's rear as he passed.

Klaus was frozen in thought. Miles would always believe me right? Of course he would....... Right? He looked down at the floor, a single tear rolling down his cheek. What if Chance is right.....Maybe I shouldn't tell him... Maybe.... He sighed and walked outside. He heard a door shut and saw Miles walking towards him, A bright smile on his face.

The wolf embraced him eagerly, "I missed you love. Did you and Chance have some bonding time? He said you two picked out a comedy. He always did enjoy a good laugh." He stopped and looked at Klaus intently, "Babe? What's wrong?" His ears twitched as he searched his mate's eyes.

Klaus smiled at him, trying to make it as loving as possible. "Nothing hun.... Just a bit tired for some reason...." He reached up and caressed Miles' face lovingly. He had to force himself not to tear up. He is so happy to have his friend back.... I can't ruin that...

Miles paused for a moment before breaking into a grin, "Well then, should we go home?"

Klaus looked up, trying to sound as cheerful as possible. "No I will be fine, we can watch the movie first!" He grabbed the wolf's arm and pulled him inside as Chance came out of the door. The horse winked at him and Klaus looked away hurriedly.

"Alright boys! Time to laugh our asses off! Klaus picked a good one here Miles, he has great tastes in movies." He glanced down at the bunny clinging to Miles' waist.

Miles smiled, "He has great taste in everything, right babe?"

Klaus smiled and nodded, faking a yawn as they sat down and Chance dimmed the lights. He made sure to keep his eyes averted from the horse, though at times he could feel Chance's gaze on him. He was relieved when the movie ended and Miles began to say his goodbyes. Chance grinned as he walked over to Klaus.

"It was nice getting to know you Klaus! I see us becoming real good friends in the near future!" He winked, making Klaus swallow nervously. Chance hugged Klaus tightly, whispering into his ear, "Smart choice bunny boy. Keep on like this and we will get along smoothly." He pulled away and waved as the Miles and Klaus walked around the house to Miles' truck.

"I think it is fantastic that you two get along so well. He is a bit rough and tumble, but he really is a good guy. He has been there for me through thick and thin." Miles looked over at his mate, "I hope you two will become as close as he and I are love." He mussed the bunny's hair and chuckled softly. Klaus just smiled and this time he did not have to fake a yawn. He laid his head down in the wolf's lap and was quickly asleep. Miles smiled and scratched the bun's stomach gently. "Looks like I will be carrying you in again my love." He whispered softly, a loving smile splitting his face.

Klaus slept fitfully that night....
