Endless Tides

Chapter 2: Equivalent Evelonox

A dark shadow falls across the land as an eerie howl resounds though a quiet lands. The setting sun casts long shadows as night falls and marks the beginning of All-Hallows-Eve.

A full moon starts to rise over the horizon as Illuminates a dark wolf like creature, a moment longer and it disappears from sight. Only the lonely howl echoes through the night.

Miles' attention snaps towards a strange sound. The fox Pokémon becoming fully alert as the moon starts to rise over the hill side. Miles lets out a light growl as something more dark catches his attention.

"What is it Miles?" Hakuzo asks his pokemon.

"Something dark is near. I don't know if it is one of those heartless creatures or something else." Miles projects into Hakuzo's mind. The Ninetales carefully sniffs at the air trying to see if he can pick up any scent at all.

Soon the darkness seems to grow around them, becoming thicker and almost solid. Before the two could react the darkness quickly surrounds them completely.

Ivy is busy working on Dan Strout's farm to repair the damage caused by the heartless attack. Dan rounded up the remaining Miltank he has and is force to keep them in their Pokéballs until he knows it's safe for them to return to the fields. He's been forced to milk them manually one at a time.

Ivy does her best to repair what she can of the fences with the help of Zora. The two work together to remove all the splintered and damaged fences while trying to salvage any parts they can. The moon giving ample light to see by as they work.

"I wish we didn't have to be out here right now but this place needs to be fixed before the Miltank can graze again." Ivy tells Zora as she sits down for a moment to rest. "Not to mention who knows if any of those Heartless will return..." Ivy's voice trails off as she starts becoming a bit scared.

"If they show up, we will deal with them. You shouldn't be afraid, besides you still have a job to do." Zora projects into Ivy's mind.

"I know it's just--" Ivy's words were cut off as the moon seemingly disappeared from the sky suddenly and the area was shrouded in darkness. Ivy tried to let out a scream but before she could the darkness completely surrounded her and Zora.

Tsukos arrives back at the home he and Hakuzo shares in the White Forest. The woods around him start to get darker suddenly. At first Tsukos didn't notice it until it was almost pitch black around him. Once he sees this he freezes in place, but before he could react the darkness swallows him up.

A deep dark laugh is heard across the lands. "Finally those three will be no longer a threat to me!" Thranos gloats to all those that can hear.

Ivy wakes up and stretches out her tail while yawning. She stops mid yawn realizing she has a tail. Her eyes snap open fully and she looks down at her golden colored tail. She's in her Leafeon form with white fur and golden leaves. It's still dark outside and the moon casts a glow over the landscape and Ivy slowly remembers that she was enveloped in darkness.

Ivy jumps up and starts looking around. The land is grey in colored and very desaturated. She's also by herself and none of her Pokéballs are with her. She starts calling out to Zora but she received no answer. Ivy starts to wonder where she is. This place looks far different from the Unova region. She slowly wonders if she is stuck in a dream.

Ivy lets out a sigh and starts traveling along the small hilly terrain. She passes some white colored trees that grew in odd circular shapes. The branches corkscrew around in random directions. The landscape was eerily quiet as Ivy travels along on all fours. Off in the distance ahead lights can be made out and Ivy runs forward hoping she can find someone that could help her.

Jack-o'-lanterns with candles flickering inside of them line a small path. Ivy is suddenly reminded of Halloween as she draws near. She takes a moment to look at the Jack-o'-lanterns. The face was jaggedly carved in. The face has sharp teeth and a crooked smile. The eyes are skewed and sideways; not perfectly lining up.

A sudden voice surprised Ivy and she quickly darts behind the Jack-o'-lantern. A skeleton dressed in a pin-striped suit walks along the road with a human like creature that's much shorter but also very plump. He is also wearing a pin-stripped suit as well.

"This Halloween celebration will blow all the others out of the water. It will make last Halloween look like mere child's play." The skeleton announces out energetically.

"Jack Skellington, You have such a nack for scaring anyone. Though, can you really outdo yourself again?" The plump creature replied.

"You need to have faith in me Mayor. I'll make sure that this celebration will be excitingly scary!" Jack Skellington replies while walking past the carved pumpkin that Ivy is hiding behind. She crouches lower to the ground and wraps her tail tightly around herself hoping not to be seen.

Off in the distance, shadows start moving around the hillside. A single set of yellow eyes appears at first, and soon followed by more. The shadows take shape into shadow heartless and they rush towards Jack.

"Oh my, what manner of creature are these delightful pests?" Jack exclaims out loud as one of the Shadows jump up and claws at him. He simply catches the heartless and holds onto it as it struggles to try to break free of the skeleton's grasp. "This is exactly what we need this Halloween!"

Ivy tries to sneak away but one of the shadows closes is on her. She feels the creature before it gets close enough to strike and Ivy bolts out of the way. Only a streak of white and gold is seen as she dashes deep into the town.

Tsukos wakes up besides a Jack-O'-lantern that rests besides the base of an oddly shaped hill. It reaches up and out like a tentacle. A stone fence surrounds the hillside. Tsukos shake his fur a bit and realizes he's in the form of a Glaceon. He soon wakes up enough to realize this. He then remembers that he was surrounded by darkness, and then woke up here.

Tsukos gets up and walks around the fence. His short pokemon form making it impossible for him to jump over the fence since it's far too high. He walks the parameter and finds no breaks in the fence or anyway other way to escape. He sighs then decides to climb up the strange hill. He sits down on and looks around from his new perch.

Nearby the fence on the other side is a graveyard, and further past that appears to be a town. Without warning the ground beneath Tsukos starts shaking and the curled up tendril of dirt stretches out and forms a bridge that leads into the graveyard.

Tsukos gingerly steps along the dirt bridge and steps down into the graveyard. Once Tsukos landed on the ground the Tendril of dirt coils back to its original position. Tsukos takes a moment to steady himself as he looks around the small graveyard.

A pale yellow light falls over Tsukos and he quickly spins around. A search-light ghost heartless starts floating towards Tsukos. He slowly backs up until more lights fall on him. He turns tail and starts running towards the gate of the cemetery. By the time he makes it past the gates he has ten heartless chasing after him.

Hakuzo slowly wakes up in what appears to be a small forest. The trees were jagged shape and most appeared to be dead and hallow yet the still had leaves growing on them. The leaves were in autumn colors but there wasn't a single leaf on the ground.

Hakuzo caches a small hint of mint on the wind and finally looks down at himself. He realizes he is in his Leafeon form. All of his pokéballs are gone and he realizes that Miles is gone as well. Hakuzo's goggles and Pokétech is also missing as well. He then remembers Miles' warning about something evil coming then being surrounded by darkness.

A sound of flapping wings overhead draws Hakuzo's attention. He notices a Flygon flying overhead. Hakuzo soon wonders how many others got transported into this place. Hakuzo starts running along the ground trying to keep up with the other pokemon.

A ball of dark shadow forms in front of Hakuzo causing him to stop in his tracks. Yellow eyes form in the middle of the ball and takes the shape of a Darkball Heartless. "Come on, I don't have time for you!" Hakuzo yells at the Heartless while he takes up a defensive stance.

The Heartless swoops down to bite at Hakuzo and he rolls out of the way. With a quick movement of his tail, Hakuzo Leaf Blades the Heartless causing it to fly back some. Hakuzo's attacks seem to do no damage at all to the Heartless and it continues it assault against Hakuzo.

Several more Darkball Heartless started to form around Hakuzo. Hakuzo quickly becomes surrounded as he quickly looks around for an escape. He quickly ducks under one of the heartless and runs in the direction he seen the Flygon flying.

Ivy runs head long into the town. Not paying attention to where she was running. She runs head first into something cold. She shakes her head and looks up seeing a Glaceon rubbing his head.

Ivy gives a slight blush, as she realizes she knows this Glaceon. "Tsu, is that you?" She asks the Glaceon.

"Yeah... I was being chased by heartless." Tsukos replies.

Ivy nods, "There were some chasing me as well..." Ivy closes her eyes and gives a small shake of her fur. "Where are we?"

"I don't know, this place is nothing like Unova." Tsukos replies as he sits down to rest as well. Both of the trainers turned Pokémon rest and catch their breath. The odd lantern over head slowly flickers as if a strange wind is blowing.

The blue flame flickers more violently and then burns out. The lack of flame casts the area in darkness. Within a few moments multiple eyes start forming around the two pokemon and many Heartless surrounded them. Ivy let out a scream in reaction to the sheer number of Heartless.

Not far away Hakuzo hears Ivy scream and rushes forward. He jumps over some of the heartless and lands adeptly near Ivy and Tsukos. He growls out at the Heartless but having no idea how to protect his friends.

The area quickly started filling up with Heartless. It was apparent the three trainers were clearly out-numbered. The situation looks desperate as they started to close in. Soon a flapping overhead drew they attention, a blur of green is seen and slam's onto the ground near the three trainers.

The same Flygon lands with a shockwave and the large bellied Dragon starts slamming its shoulder around into the Heartless pushing them back. "RUN!" yells out a female voice. "I'll catch up as soon as you find a clear spot!"

Without hesitation the three run out of town again. Once they are far enough away Ivy tells the others of Mayor and of Jack Skellington. They decide it would be best to find these residents again and see if they get some answers as to where they are.

The three trainers travel down back near the forest where Hakuzo woke up in. The three sit down to rest as the same large Flygon flies in and lands lightly on the ground near them.

"Thank you for helping us...." Hakuzo tells the Flygon as she lands.

"No problem, I seen you three were in trouble and I had to help." The Flygon replies as she flops down onto the ground.

Ivy walks forward a bit, "Do you know where we are maybe?"

The Flygon shakes her head. "No... I woke up near here. I was enjoying a snack outside of Undella town when suddenly I was swallowed up by darkness."

"Are you a trainer too turned pokemon just like us?" Tsukos asks as he lightly scratches at one of his ears with his paw.

"Ah... no I'm just a pokemon. My name is Zolzi. I don't have a trainer and I kind of roam around from town to town. It's a bit of a lonely life...." Zolzi replies with a soft sigh.

The three introduce themselves and Hakuzo slowly walks up to Zolzi and places a paw onto her. "Once we return to Unova, I promise you that we will be your friends. We may look like Pokémon right now but we really are trainers. We lost our own Pokémon upon arriving at this place. They could be lost or hurt....." Hakuzo looks away slightly worried about Miles and the rest of his Pokémon.

"I haven't seen any other Pokémon around besides just you three..." Zolzi comment as she gives a lazy yawn. "I'm also getting hungry again."

The sound of children laughing catches the group by surprised as three small children dressed in Halloween costumes run past. A male dressed up like a devil carrying something as they run past. The soon disappear into the woods again.

"Get back here with my whip you little demons!" Jack yells out as he emerges into view, but it was useless the three children disappeared before he could get near them. "Oh, hello are you with those delightfully scary creatures that have been roaming around these lands?" Jack asks the small group of Pokémon.

Hakuzo shakes his head. "If by scary creatures you mean the Heartless, no.... We got transported here because of them."

"Heartless? Magnificent, they will be a great addition to this Halloween's Festivities!" Jack announces with glee.

"Halloween? So it's Halloween here as well?" Ivy asks with a bit of excitement.

"Why it's Halloween here all the time!" Jack replies giddily.

Ivy's eyes light up slightly with excitement. She hopes that once things return to normal she can come back here and visit any time. Ivy suddenly remembers that Jack was chasing after someone to get his whip back. "You said those three stole your whip right? Maybe we can help you get it back. All of us could spread out and search for it?" Ivy suggests to the rest of the group.

"That would be a wonderful idea. If you help me get the whip back all of you will be honorary members of this celebration!" Jack exclaims out with his unnatural enthusiasm.

"Though, we shouldn't split up. If those Heartless attack again we could easily get out-numbered." Hakuzo suggests knowing that the heartless could show up anywhere and at any time.

The group divides off. Tsukos, Zolzi and Jack go out to try circling around to cut off the advance of the three hoodlums. Hakuzo and Ivy take on the direct approach and by following the same path the thieves took.

Both of the Leafeon trainers run through the woods trying to find any sign of where the three may have went. They soon find a large stone wall with a very small opening. In their current forms the two trainers easily squeeze through the opening and stop short when they see a giant mansion which was oddly shaped.

The windows were placed at odd angles with no solid square shapes. The jagged shapes gave the appearance of broken teeth exposed through a crooked smile. Parts of the mansion bulged out as if swollen. Rusted iron spikes and fences line along at random intervals. The moon reflecting of the remaining shiny bits casting odd glairs and reflections over the ground and building's sides.

Both trainers slowly sneak their way up to one of the windows and peeks they peek inside. As soon as they do the see a room swarming in heartless along with a table piled up with random stolen objects. Hakuzo spots his Pokétech along with Pokéballs and the rest of their missing possessions.

"How are we going to get in there and get our stuff back? There's too many Heartless to get in there." Hakuzo whispers to Ivy.

Ivy lets out an hmm and looks around. "I don't know... If we could draw their attention somehow, then we could sneak in..."

Jack leads Tsukos and Zolzi through the woods. Jack knows every square inch of Halloween Town and he leads them to where he thinks the thieves may have went. "Lock, Shock and Barrel are the name of those three hoodlums. They are always causing mischief and pranks. They will steal anything that isn't bolted down." Jack commentates as he leads the two Pokémon down a winding path. Tsukos noticed that the whole time they have been here the moon has never changed its position in the sky and it's been hours since he woke up.

Jack's long strides make it hard for Tsukos to keep up with his short Glaceon legs. Zolzi see this and scoops him up carrying him in her arms as she keeps pace with Jack. Tsukos starts to fall asleep as if he was held like a baby Pokémon.

Zolzi smiles as she carries Tsukos along. Jack boldly leads the way forward to the front gates of a large mansion. Jack Throws the gates open as if they were no obstacle at all, a feat displaying super-natural strength.

"WHAT! Jack is here? You three hooligans led Jack straight to my front door!" A large creature made out of burlap sacks addresses Lock, Shock, and Barrel. "Now Jack needs to be dealt with --"

The creature was cut off by the appearance of flames fill the room. A final burst of flames reveals a creature with blue skin and hair made of flames stands in the rooms. "Greetings, I see you have a bit of a Hero problem?"

The Burlap creature recovers from the initial shock before recovering. "What the blazes are you?" The creature asks the intruder.

"You are partially correct. I'm Hades the god of the Underworld. Pleased to meet you." Hades introduces himself smugly.

"Can you make Jack Skellington disappear permanently?" The Burlap creature asks.

"Why of course, for a price that is." Hades replies with glee.

"Deal with Jack first and then we shall talk about payment" The Burlap creature counter-offers.

"Very well then Oggie Boogie. We shall talk business after." Hades states as he starts walking outside.

Oggie stops short, "How do you know what I'm called?"

Hades laughs as he leaves, "It's my business to know these things. Now stand back and watch a master at work."

* * *

Hakuzo and Ivy watch everything going on in the room. Both over-hear the exchange between Oggie and Hades. Hakuzo shakes his head.

"We have to warn Jack!" Hakuzo exclaims.

Ivy give Hakuzo a concerned look back. "What go will it do? We have no way to fight the heartless, we won't last ten seconds."

"We have to try something. We need to get Jack's whip back to him, at least then we will may have a chance to stop the heartless." Hakuzo replies while looking around to see if he can find a way into the mansion from here.

"Fine, you get inside and get the whip and I'll warn the others." Ivy tells Hakuzo as she runs off towards gate. She soon spots the others and rushes straight to them. Hakuzo continues to look around trying to find a way into the mansion. He finds a broken window that's low enough to the ground for him to climb through.

He rolls as he lands inside a small room stirring up dust as he does so. The room looks like a child's bedroom including a small bed and a few dolls that look similar to Voodoo dolls. Hakuzo doesn't pay them any mind as he attempts to move as quietly as he can. Dim candle light is the only thing that allows Hakuzo to see his surroundings as he carefully creeps through the house.

Hakuzo heads in the direction of the room they saw earlier. Hoping that he will have an easy time getting to it, he still is unsure how he will get back everything without being detected.

Hakuzo stops suddenly, he started to notice an odd feeling. He quickly presses himself up against the wall. A few minutes later a shadow heartless walks down a hallway that was connected perpendicular to the one Hakuzo was currently in. "Did... I just sense that heartless before I actually seen it?" Hakuzo thinks to himself. He carefully considers this, realizing this could be very useful indeed. Maybe he is starting to develop low level psychic powers being so close to Miles.

Suddenly Hakuzo remembers about Miles and tries to communicate with him. "Miles, can you hear me? If you can please respond."

Ivy rushes out to Jack and the other. "There's danger coming. Someone claiming to be a god is coming after you Jack!" Ivy shouts as she comes to a stop in front of the others. Tsukos wakes up from the yelling.

"A god you say? No one can beat me, Jack! The great Pumpkin King!" Jack explains proudly as a sudden burst of flames spreads out and Hades appears.

"Hello, you must be Jack. Pleased to meet you and time for you to disappear forever!" Hades says as the flames around him change from blue to red. Just as Hades launches a fireball at Jack, time around the group stops suddenly.

King Mickey appears in a burst of life. "Run, there's no way you three will be able to fight Hades. Myself and Jack can handle this. You only have a short time now GO!" Mickey commands the three Pokémon. Ivy and Tsukos hesitate for a moment but Zolzi picks both of them up and starts flying off.

"He's right, both of you would be devastated by his fire attacks." Zolzi tells Ivy and Tsukos as she flies back to town. "Both of you would have been burnt to a crisp."

"Hakuzo would be able to avoid his attacks easily then." Ivy Explains. "Some how as a Pokémon he has an uncanny ability to dodge elemental weaknesses to grass type Pokémon. I just hope he's all right."

* * *

Hakuzo gets a response from Miles but it seems a bit faint. "Yes, I can hear you but barely." Miles responds in Hakuzo's mind.

"Can you get out of your Pokéball without being seen by the heartless?" Hakuzo asks.

"I think so." Miles replies then leaves his Pokéball. "Ok, I'm out and it's clear here."

"Stay there, I'll be there shortly." Hakuzo continues to make his way slowly to the direction of the room. The further along Hakuzo goes he notices that he can feel Miles as he get's closer. Hakuzo arrives outside a room and he can strongly feel the presence of Miles inside. He carefully pushes the door open and indeed the Fox Pokémon was there.

Miles nuzzles Hakuzo once he emerges into the room. "I missed you too, but we have to get out of here fast and meet back with the others." It takes Hakuzo only a few moments to gather up his Pokéballs and Pokétech. Miles grabs up Ivy's Pokéballs and Hakuzo takes up Jack's whip in his maw.

The two carefully exit the room, keeping all of their sense open for heartless or anyone else. Hakuzo leads Miles to the room with the broken window and both jump out of it just in time as an explosion erupts.

Hakuzo and Miles dash around the corner of the mansion just in time to see Jack and Mickey fighting Hades as fire erupts all around. The fire spreads quickly and even engulfs the mansion as well. Oogie and his three flunkies run out of the house immediately.

"YOU FOOL! YOU DAMAGED MY MANSION!" Oggie yells furiously at Hades.

"Collateral damage. Now stop bothering me and let me work!" Hades retorts back, but Oggie doesn't listen and attacks Hades. Hakuzo quickly makes his way to Jack as the two villains were fighting and he tosses Jack his whip.

Hades launches a fireball at Oggie hitting him in the middle of his chest. His Burlap skin quickly ignites an all that is left is ashes. "That was anti-climatic." Hades says to himself as he turns his attention back to Jack and Mickey. "After that useless expense of energy I need a break, So I want you to meet a few of my friends." Hades waves his hands and several Wight Knight heartless appear. Hades disappears in a puff of smoke while laughing.

These heartless are covered in bandages and closely resemble mummies. They are much faster than a Shadow heartless and they quickly swarm around the group. Jack simply grins and walks forward. "You think you can take on the Pumpkin King? I now have my whip and I will show you fools not to mess with me!" Jack exclaims as he starts swinging the whip over his head like a helicopter. He slams the whip down on the ground an shockwaves shot out striking all the Wight Knights.

The heartless all disappear completely from the attack. "Too easy!" Jack proclaims triumphantly. "Let's return back to town and prepare for this Hades to return."

"Where are the others?" Hakuzo asks Jack and Mickey.

Mickey walks forward. "They already went back to town. We should meet back up with them before heartless attack them."

Hakuzo nods, "You're right, let's get going as fast as we can." Hakuzo decides too stay in his Leafeon form for now, figuring he can travel faster that way. Unknown to the group as they left the flames around the mansion suddenly disappears.

Zolzi continues to fly along carrying both Tsukos and Ivy along with her. A swooshing sound catches Zolzi's attention to her right. A Gargoyle heartless slams into her flank causing Tsukos and Ivy to desperately grip onto the Flygon to keep from falling off.

The heartless slams into Zolzi again and Ivy loses her grip. As she falls she tries to use her tail to cut down her velocity of her fall. She uses her tail like a rudder to guide her fall. It was working until a gust of wind catches her and slams her into a nearby tree. Ivy blacks out from the impact.

An unknown amount of time passes as Ivy remains unconscious. She dreams a strange vision with unclear shapes and an echoing sound of a howl. Slowly the howl became sharper and clearer in this vision. Ivy's eyes suddenly snap awake as the sound continues on. She nearly passes back out from a headache that suddenly hit her. She shakes it off and quickly becomes aware that a creature was making the howling. It is a wolf like creature with crystals growing out of it.

The howling stops immediately when the creature sees that Ivy is awake. A strange airy voice entering her mind. "You are still alive. At first I thought you died from that impact." The wolf like creature talks into Ivy's mind.

"Are you a heartless?" Ivy asks the creature, since it looks very similar to a heartless, but Ivy never seen any of these creatures communicate before.

"I am the same manner of creature you are. My name is Evelonox" The Pokémon replies in the same airy manner as before. It's voice having an eerie feel to it. "I am trapped in this place and I need your help to escape it and return back to your world. For that, I need your help. You have a very special power, unlike that of your brother."

"What... kind of power?" Ivy asks Evelonox.

"The power to travel freely between the worlds. The power of the Keymaster." The wolf like Pokémon explains to Ivy. He then narrows his eyes a bit, "I know you are really a human disguised as a Pokémon. That in it's self shows me why the Key has chosen you."

Ivy's ears perk up a bit, "A key? What does a key have to do with anything?"

"It is no ordinary key. It is a Keyblade, a weapon that can restore the heartless back to normal. It can also seal the doorways between worlds to keep the heartless from spreading. You also have the power to restore Kingdom Hearts to its original glory, returning all the heartless back to normal immediately." Evelonox paces a slow circle around Ivy. "And for that, you need your brother to show you the way. You can not hope to restore Kingdom Hearts by yourself. You brother is also chosen by the Keyblade as well. Are you ready to receive your destiny?"

Ivy nods slightly and the crystals on Evelonox start to glow purple. A shimmering light form infront of Ivy and it takes on the shape of a small key. It appears to be made out of crystals similar to those found on Evelonox. The key is almost the same size as Ivy length wise but it is very light. Ivy takes the Keyblade into her maw and an energy courses through her body. It gives Ivy intense warmth as if she's shrouded in light.

"That Keyblade is called the Crystal Guardian. You can use it to summon me out of this place." Evelonox fades way into light and it travels to the Keyblade causing it to glow for a moment.

Jack leads Hakuzo and Mickey back into town. As soon as the group makes it to the gates, Tsukos comes running up to them. "Ivy got separated from us. We were attacked by a heartless in the air and she fell into the forest below somewhere. Zolzi has been flying around trying to find her but I haven't heard anything else yet."

"We have to go find her!" Hakuzo exclaims, running back to the gate. "I don't care if there are Heartless around I'll have to find her.'

"You are not going alone, I'm going with you." Tsukos replies as he follows along. He stops for a moment when he realizes Miles is with Hakuzo. "I see you found your missing stuff."

"Yeah, I also have Ivy's Pokémon as well." Hakuzo replies as he keeps on walking.

Jack runs over to the two for a moment. "You two run ahead, I have work here to do in town to keep these pests under control."

Hakuzo nods then dashes off with Miles and Tsukos following close behind. Hakuzo keeps his senses clear while searches for his sister. Miles keeps up easily also searching as best as he can. Hakuzo would have his Aerodactyl assist as well but he doesn't want to risk him getting hurt by flying heartless.

Hakuzo skids to a stop suddenly as he felt a sudden evil. A few moments later Hades appears again in burst of fire. "Well if it isn't the Goodie-Two-Shoes. I can't have you run off to your sister and ruin my big surprise for her. So we are going to play a game, it's called Die!" Hades shouts out as his flames once again change from blue to red as Hades launches fire at Hakuzo.

Hakuzo easily dodges the fireball thanks to his Critical Dodge ability. Miles grins at the fight knowing if that's the only trick Hade's knows then this fight won't be a challenge at all.

Hakuzo thinks carefully, worried that if Tsukos gets hit with one of those fireballs he's going to get hurt badly. He quickly sends a command to Miles telepathically, "Stay close to Tsu, if he gets hit he's going to get knocked out instantly. Take any hits aimed at him." Miles nods in response and quickly moves towards Tsukos.

"Come on Hades; is that the best you go? I've been in deserts hotter than this." Hakuzo shouts at Hades, trying to use Hades' temper against him.

"Why you! I'll show you hot!" Hades launches even a bigger fireball at Hakuzo and he jumps out of the way of the attack. He quickly dashes up to Hades and uses his tail to Leaf Blade the Fire Deity. The attack causes Hades to back up slightly but it didn't cause any lasting damage.

Hades reaches down to try to grab Hakuzo but he quickly darts out of the grasp. Hades continues to try to grab at Hakuzo but in his Leafeon form his agility is too much for the deity to keep up with.

While Hades was distracted with Hakuzo, Tsukos launches an Ice Beam at Hades. The attack strikes the deity in the shoulder and causes him to recoil back slightly. "Why you! You will pay for that you ice rat!" Hades launches several fireballs at Tsukos. Miles quickly races forward and intercepts the attack, absorbing them and becoming stronger.

A sudden thud is heard as Zolzi slams into Hades knocking him to the ground. A keychain goes flying out of Hades' hand and lands besides Hakuzo. The keychain is in the shape of a tribal fire ball.

Hakuzo quickly picks it up with his paws and a Keyblade starts to form between his paws. The Keyblade is mostly red and puts off warmth. The 'teeth' of the Keyblade houses the same tribal like fire design as the keychain.

Hades growls out, "This isn't over yet pipsqueak. I'll be back to finish you off once I deal with Jack!" Hades yells out as he disappears in a puff of smoke.

Ivy carries the Crystal Guardian in her maw as she looks for a way to get back to town. The ground under Ivy starts to shake and a roar like howl assaults Ivy's ears. The creature that made the sound appears out of thin air, that creature being Hades' personal pet Cerberus.

The three headed fire hound locks its eyes on Ivy with a burning ferocity. In Ivy's current form Cerberus towers over her like a titan. Ivy takes a firm grip of the Keyblade in her maw looking for a way to escape the massive beast. The voice of Evelonox enters her mind once again. "Stop running, there is no way for you to escape this beast. Stand and Fight!"

Ivy takes a deep breath around the Keyblade in my maw. She rushes forward at Cerberus and bashes at the creature's colossal leg. The attack wasn't even felt by the creature as it tries to snap at Ivy with one of its massive heads. Ivy quickly darts under the Cerberus' legs keeping near its tail. The creature tries to stomp on Ivy but its blind attack only gave Ivy the chance she needed to dart up its tail and she stand on its back.

Cerberus tries to snap at Ivy with one of its head. Ivy swings her blade at the head of the Cerberus and smacks it square on the nose. The head roars out in pain as if it has been severely wounded. The other two heads immediately try snapping at ivy in response to the strike. She simply jumps back again and lands another strike on another head.

Cerberus shakes madly sending Ivy flying off. She lands roughly on the ground and staggers to stand up. "Summon me before you get hurt again." Evelonox's voice enters into Ivy's mind again.

"How do I do that?" Ivy asks as she backs up away from the titanic creature.

"Hold your blade out then raise it high into the air. Saying 'I summon you!'". Evelonox explains to Ivy in her mind. Ivy does as instructed point the Keyblade forward and up into sky as best as she could. A flash of light followed by battle cry from Evelonox and the Pokémon rushes towards Cerberus not quite matching it in size.

Evelonox glows a purple color as a psychic energy radiates from the pokemon. Cerberus is lifted into the air then slammed down onto the grown and held in pace by the power of Evelonox. "Strike now!" Evelonox commands into Ivy's mind. She nods and strikes Cerberus squarely in the middle head.

A sharp and harsh whistle is heard and Cerberus looks up and disappears suddenly. Ivy looks on confused. "That was too easy..." Ivy states with a sigh.

"Its master called it back. This battle isn't over yet. Summon me again if that over-grown mutt returns." Evelonox replies into Ivy's mind again as it returns back inside the Keyblade.

Ivy lowers the Keyblade while panting heavily. She takes a moment to sit down and rest soon falling into a deep sleep suddenly.

Hakuzo runs through the oddly flat land. He runs full blast and Tsukos has trouble keeping up Hakuzo. Miles keeps up easily with Hakuzo also while still carrying Ivy's Pokemon. Hakuzo tries his hardest to see if his new senses can help him locate his sister. He keeps running hoping to find the smallest trace of her but has no luck yet.

The two run for almost an hour arriving in an even more unfamiliar place compared to the rest of Halloween town. Hakuzo stops as they reach a sudden dead-end that wasn't there moments before. "What the...." Hakuzo manages to get out before Rot-iron fences completely encircle around him, blocking off any chance of escape. The ground opens and swallows up Hakuzo.

Miles frantically uses flamethrower on the Iron fences to try to get to Hakuzo but the fence suddenly disappears as fast as it showed up. Tsukos runs forward and tries digging at the ground but the ground was harder than baked clay.

An ominous laughing fills the air. The voice sounds similar to Oggie's voice. Miles grows out at the sudden laughing. "I have you master held captive. Come face me if you dare!" Oggie's voice fades away into the night.

"We need to find Ivy before the same thing happens to her." Tsukos tells Miles as he looks about trying to figure out where she is. Before Tsukos could go on, Zolzi lands on the ground in front of the pokemon.

"I found Ivy; she's being attacked by a large three headed dog. We need to hurry!" Zolzi quickly explains, as Tsukos and Miles climbs onto her back. Zolzi take to the skies and flies straight to where she spotted Ivy.

Ivy wakes up suddenly surrounded with a thick darkness. The shape of a Darkrai forms out of the darkness. It looms over Ivy reaching out towards her slowly. Ivy feels as if her energy and life-force is being drawn away.

Ivy tries to move but she's frozen in place. Her muscles refuse to respond as she tries to silently scream. Just as she felt she was going to pass out, a piercing light strikes Darkrai and it fades away with a shriek. As soon as the Darkrai disappears Ivy fully wake up this time as she realizes she was trapped in a nightmare.

Ivy stands there sweating after the nightmare. She stands there shivering for a few minute trying to regain herself. "Where.... Did that light come from?" Ivy asks herself wondering who or what saved her. She didn't have much time to figure it out because Zolzi lands on the ground and Tsukos jumps off running towards Ivy.

"You brother has been captured by... Oogie... He corned Hakuzo and the ground swallowed him up. We have to save him." Tsukos relies rapidly explaining everything that has happened.

Ivy shakes her head. "Hakuzo's in trouble and needs my help." She looks to Miles, "Are those my pokemon with you?" She asks the Fox Pokémon. He nods and tosses her, her belt. She nods and releases Zora her own Ninetales. "Zora, I need you to change me back. I have to rescue Hakuzo."

Zora nods and starts to glow with energy as she transforms Ivy back into her human form. Ivy returns to her human self wearing new clothing than she had on before. A red flowing cape is clasp onto her collar. She also has a purple colored zip up shirt. She also has on black shorts and thigh high socks followed lastly by black shoes with spikes on them. Lastly her Keyblade shimmers for a few seconds and disappears. Evelonox's voice enters her mind again, "The Keyblade will return again when you need it. Do not fear and remember the Keyblade is bound to you." Evelonox's voice fades away.

"When did you get that outfit?" Tsukos asks with a confused look on his face.

Ivy looks down at herself. "I don't know must have happened when we arrived here. Though, we have to get going before Hakuzo gets hurt..." Ivy replies as Zolzi look at Ivy for a few minutes. Zolzi says something but Ivy can no longer understand Zolzi without being in her Pokémon form.

"She says you really are a human?" Zora tells Ivy into her mind.

Ivy nods to Zolzi. "Yes I am, so is Tsukos and Hakuzo. But I need your help to rescue Hakuzo quickly. Can you take me back to that mansion?" Ivy asks the Flygon. Zolzi nods and allows Ivy to climb onto her back. Tsukos and Miles follow along while Ivy recalls Zora back to her Pokéball for the moment.

Zolzi flies as fast as she can towards the mansion. As the Flygon draws near Gargoyle Heartless fly out from the mansion towards Zolzi. The heartless screech and attack the group. Ivy holds on tightly around Zolzi's neck and tells her to dive close to the ground. Tsukos and Miles hold onto Ivy tightly as Zolzi dives suddenly and skims along the ground.

Ivy pats Zolzi's neck and tells her to slow down. Once Zolzi slows enough Ivy hops off of holds out her hand, the Crystal Guardian forming again in her grasp. "Let's do this!" Ivy says as she rushes forward holding her Keyblade close.

One of the Gargoyle's screeches and claws at Ivy. She deflects the attack and counter-strikes the heartless. The Gargoyle recoils backwards from Ivy and she simply follows through and combo hits the heartless. The heartless fades away and a tiny crystal heart floats into the air and disappears. Ivy quickly fights her way through the other heartless despite to find and rescue her brother.

Once Hakuzo could see again he realizes he is in a metal cage. He tries to use his leafy tail to cut through the metal but he doesn't even leave a scratch. He starts honeing his claws as best as he can in the cage. He slashes at the bars with his claws but again the metal proven too tough.

"Make yourself comfortable, you'll be here for a long while. You don't want to wear yourself out before the main event!" A voice materializes followed by the wall in front of Hakuzo morphing into a face. The face takes the shape of Oogie Boogie.

"Oogie? I thought Hades killed you?" Hakuzo asks confused.

Oogie laughs, "You can't kill a ghost! I can just possess something else. Now be a good moss covered rat and wait for your 'Entertainment'."

"Entertainment? What sort of nasty trick do you have planned?" Hakuzo once again asks the face on the wall.

Oggie laughs again. "You'll find out in a few moments." Suddenly the cages is drawn up through a tunnel at a fast pace and Hakuzo is suddenly outside. The cage is suspended high above the mansion. Hakuzo notices the mansion shift and move around as if it's a living creature.

The cage swings back and forth vicariously as the mansion shifts and morphs into a humanoid like shape. As the swinging stops Hakuzo spots his sister in the distance carrying a Keyblade. Hakuzo also notices the new clothing Ivy is wearing. Hakuzo tries yelling out to his sister but he is too far away for her to hear him at all.

Hades appears next to Hakuzo, "Save your breath, the show is about to begin. You get a front row seat to watch your sister's death. Not something you get to see everyday." Hakuzo lets out a growl at Hades. "Don't worry Kid, you're next after your sister so sit tight and wait your turn." Hades laughs as he floats down towards a different part of the mansion.

The mansion moves freely on it's own as Ivy approaches. She has no idea how she's going to handle this fight and rescue her brother. Hades takes this time to start throwing fireballs towards Ivy.

Ivy sees the fireball hurdling at her and she smacks it away with the Keyblade. Ivy yells out, "You have to do better than that Hades!" The fireball impacts the ground harmlessly near by.

Suddenly the mansion starts to shake and then speak. "Oh, so you have returned to save your precious brother hmm? He's up here in this cage if you think you can reach him!" Oggie laugh causing the whole building to shake and the cage Hakuzo in to swing widely. Hakuzo holds onto the cage with his broad leafy tail to stop from sliding around.

Ivy looks around, trying to figure out how she could defeat a possessed house. She get's an idea and grins waiting for another fireball from Hades. As predicted Hades launches another fireball at Ivy and this time she deflects it towards the mansion. It strikes the mansion and Oggie shrieks out.

A few moments later the flames goes out and Oogie swings part of the mansion at Ivy she quickly runs out of the way and get's an idea calls out to Zolzi. Ivy rushes up to her and asks if she'll take her to the skies again. Zolzi nods and allows Ivy to climb onto her back again. "Tsukos and Miles you stay on the ground and to keep away from the mansion. I'll save Hakuzo!"

Ivy urges Zolzi to take to the skies once again. Ivy directs Zolzi to fly towards the cage. Hades growls out and the flames on his body turn red. He launches several fireballs at Ivy and she deflects them away once again with her Keyblade. The fireballs she deflects keep striking points of the mansion and Oogie swings around madly trying to hit the Flygon. Zolzi easily dodges and weaves between the attacks and makes her way towards the cage.

Zolzi flies in close and Ivy shouts to her brother. "I'm here to get you out of there. I have to figure out a way to do it safely." Hakuzo nods, still holding onto the bars of the cage with his tail.

"NO!, That will ruin all my fun and my plans! I can't let you do that." Hades' yells out as he flies towards Ivy and Zolzi. Zolzi swoops downwards and Ivy strikes Hades across the back.

The three keep up their aerial combat until suddenly a large wave of water strikes Hades from the ground somewhere. The attack came from Mickey using water magic. Having been severely weakened, Hades plummets towards the ground.

Ivy nods down to Mickey and takes this chance to free Hakuzo. "Try your best to hold on to the bars of the cage, I'll try striking at a weak point with my Keyblade." Hakuzo nods and climbs up the bars a bit.

Ivy holds her Keyblade firmly and strikes at the base of the cage. The attack causing the bottom of the cage to buckle a slight bit. The hit jars Hakuzo a bit but he keeps a firm grip onto the bars of the cage. Another strike to the same spot causes the cage to smash open. Zolzi flies right under the cage and Hakuzo lets go landing lightly onto Zolzi's back. Hakuzo holds onto Ivy and she has Zolzi once again descend towards the ground.

"I have to fight Oggie from the air. Stay on the ground here and stay out his reach." Ivy tells Hakuzo as he jumps down to the ground. His own Keyblade forms and he grips it closely with his tail.

"You're not fighting him alone. Besides I'll be more effective on the ground." Hakuzo say. Ivy nods and takes back to the air. Miles greets Hakuzo with a nuzzle, Hakuzo gives a light pet back. "Miles I need you to transform me back, I have to help Ivy fight. The Fox Pokémon nods and does so. Hakuzo resumes human form and joins the fray.

Hakuzo's own Keyblade being much smaller than Ivy's, is easily held in one hand. Hakuzo wonders if there's a second Keyblade to match this one. He doesn't take much time to ponder this as he rushes forward with his blade. He strikes at the misshapen leg of Oogie. Each strike leaving scorch marks everywhere he hit.

Mickey also enters the battle as well attacking with full force and launching magic at the possessed mansion. Both Mickey and Hakuzo were preoccupied with fighting Oogie that they didn't notice Hades sneaking up for an attack.

"That's not very nice, sneaking up on someone and not even having the courtesy to yell BOO!" Jack rebukes Hades for his improper scaring techniques. Jack starts attacking Hades with his whip causing the deity to recoil back.

"This isn't over yet. I'll be back to finish this when you least expect me!" Hades screams out as he fades away into a puff of smoke.

Jack casually walks up to Mickey and Hakuzo. "Sorry that I'm late to the party, but I have a bone to pick with Oogie." Jack jumps into the action singing his whip at Oogie as well.

From the skies it appears to Ivy that the attacks from the ground are not having any real effect but it's keeping Oogie distracted. She notices a strange opening in the mansion and she directs Zolzi closer so she can investigate.

Once above the opening she notices it leads deeper inside the mansion. "I have an idea, I'm going inside the mansion. You keep flying around and come around and pick me up once I emerge again." Zolzi nods and Ivy jumps down off of Zolzi.

Ivy goes through the doorway and deeper into the Mansion. Candles light the insides of the creature as she goes deeper inside. Ivy has the an odd feeling she is going down the creatures throat but she reminds herself it's just a building.

She quickly arrives to a very large room with an oddly shaped door with a massive Keyhole. Ivy's Keyblade starts to react as she approaches. She holds up the Keyblade and a beam of light shoots out towards the door. The sounds of a lock being turned becomes audible filling the room before the door disappears completely.

There was a large shudder and Ivy felt a sudden downwards movement then all was still. "Did... I defeat him?" Ivy asks herself while she listens carefully for a while. After a few moments she could no longer feel any movement from the possessed house an she exits the same way she entered.

Zolzi swoops by and picks Ivy up and carries her down to the ground. The mansion was still misshapen but no longer moved under its on violation. Mickey rushes up to Ivy as soon as she lands on the ground.

"Heh, I see you found the doorway to this world. Now heartless can no longer enter into this world and destroy it. The Heartless were attracted to this place because of Oogie's intent. Now any remaining heartless should be easier to deal with." Mickey explains to everyone.

"Does that mean our world has one of these doors as well?" Ivy asks the anthropomorphic mouse.

He nods. "Yes it does, along with many other worlds. What I don't get is how Hades is here, he doesn't belong to this world."

"He did claim to be a deity after all... Maybe there's more going on here than just the heartless?" Hakuzo asks.

"Hmm... could be, I'll have to investigate into it more but for now we need to get you back to your own world." Mickey explains he carefully ponders over what's going on.

Jack walks up to Hakuzo. "You are an excellent fighter Hakuzo." Jack reaches down and pats Hakuzo when suddenly a strange card forms in his hand. "What's this?" Jack asks as he looks at the blue bordered card. An image of Jack appears onto the card.

"Your heart is bound to that Card Jack. With it, you can travel safely to other worlds." Mickey explains to the Skeleton.

"Is that so?" Jack looks over the card and hands it to Hakuzo. "Here you take it with you Hakuzo. Maybe you can use it to allow me to visit your world and learn more about those fascinating creatures you have."

Hakuzo takes the card and nods. "Sure thing, I know a few people that would really Love to be scared by you."

"Great! Onwards to adventure!" Jack exclaims.

Tsukos walks up to Hakuzo back in his human form and hands him his Pokéballs. "Here's your Pokémon back." Hakuzo takes the belt with the pokéballs and re-attaches them.

Ivy runs over to Hakuzo and hugs him closely. "I was afraid you were hurt, so I came as quickly as I could to help you." Ivy explains to Hakuzo.

Hakuzo hugs Ivy back as well. "When I heard you where lost somewhere around here possibly hurt as well I went looking for you right away and that's how I ended up getting trapped... then you ended up rescuing me."

Mickey smiles at the two. "Both of you have strong hearts and a strong bond. One that no heartless could ever break. That is why the Keyblades chosen you two as their masters. You both have a rare gift that must be protected. Now then, let's get all of you back home." Everyone nods stands close together as instructed by Mickey.

Once everyone was close by Mickey makes elaborate gestures with his own Keyblade and suddenly a door appears. Everyone steps through the door and it closes behind them. When they arrive on the other side of the door. They are greeted with bright neon lights that run along the road ways. Electric pulses causing them to strobe along reminding the group of runway lights of an airport.

"This doesn't look like home at all..." Hakuzo says while fading off.

"I don't under stand... We should have arrived at your world." Mickey states with a slight sigh.

A man dressed in neon blue armor rushes up to them. A glowing disk on his back as well, he shouts with urgency. "These are where the games are held, It's not safe for standard programs to be here!"

"Games?" Ivy asks.

"Yes, as Guardian Program it is my duty to inform you of this. My name is Tron." Tron replies in an almost robotic manner.
