The Pleistocene: Sentiment's Void (Dragon, Feral, Romance, Erotica, M/F) Part 2 of 2

The night sky held a moon, and among the moon there were many stars, but it was still not enough to hide the two dragons that curled up in the rainforest below. For the longest time, the only sounds that night were the deep snores of the two beasts, and a hoot from somewhere above.

These two were holding each other in an embrace only found with lovers. The bigger Dragon had a blue wing that covered the other: His name was Vaixon, the scales covering him were dark blue, unlike the softer peach hide that lined his lower body. His neck was stretched out with the other dragon, their tails curled likewise. Fully extended, their bodies reached around six to eight feet. Standing tall, their backs reached three to four feet; along his back sprouted two wings that were delicate and leathery, connected through thin bones to long, skinny, but muscular arms. Between the wings, his back was lined with tiny, soft and flexible bright green spines. Their claws were ivory and sharp, along with their teeth and horns. Vaixon's horns curved back smoothly from his head, while the dragon under his wing had shorter nub horns that indicated she was female. Her scales shined like emeralds even in the dimmest light, her wings were a shade green brighter than Vaixon's and had yellow markings on the tips. The markings were also found on this tip of her tail and muzzle. This Majestic Dragon was known to be Zhera.

Zhera's tail started to twitch that night, the tip constantly brushed against Vaixon. It was a warning.

Vaixon silently lifted his head and looked around, yawning generously. Something was wrong, he realized, then listened carefully for any vibrations in the air. There is was.. It sounded like something he should remember, something he heard a long time ago and was warned of. Like stampedes from far away, and the howling of the wind...

A jolt of fear ran through his body; he let go of his mate and shifted to standing up. At his leave, Zhera woke as the warmth they shared vanished. She growled and rolled to her feet, uncertain what was wrong. All her protests ceased as the familiar tune reached her.

It all happened in one breath: A branch snapped in the distance. Vaixon lifted his wings instinctively. Something jolted from the bush, clipped him, streaming blood down his body. With a snarl, Zhera pushed through, declaring war with whatever ruined her nap.

An uproar of voice and feet flooded the forest. Zhera stood her ground bravely, ready to fight and kill every one of them. Two humans pushed their way through the bushes, yelling as they tried to poke her with their sharp twig-rocks. Another of the weapons just missed her left leg. She jumped to the right and swatted at the closest man, there was sharp pain in her shoulder, and a snap as she spun around and attack the man to her left. Jaws snapping, she dashed and decapitated the man. Another sharp pain hit her, this time in her right wing-arm. She squealed painfully and turned on the man, baring teeth. The man was cut into ribbons as Vaixon jumped at him, flashing claws.

The two dragons backed away as more men poured out of the grass. The hunters charged at them, throwing their twig-rocks - attempting a killing blow. Vaixon pushed against Zhera, covering her and hiding his head like he was taught as the weapons impacted, some penetrating his scales, some bruising. He pushed on her, growling in pain and desperation, until she obediently ran away from the futile fight. Vaixon followed her into the dark green grass, hoping it would hide their trail enough to escape.

With wings tucked tight, they ran as fast as their legs would allow, ducking, jumping, and sometimes running into the foliage around them. They could hear the war cries behind them as they ran forward. Vaixon felt the weapons leave his body or snap -and puncture again- as he ran through the thick green rainforest. Zhera charged for an opening of light in the distance and Vaixon followed. The two dragons leaped out of the grass and landed on a stone ledge, coming to a halt.

About two dragon lengths up and perpendicular to Vaixon's left was another cliff. Water soared off of that cliff and fell leagues below the two dragons to form a river that flowed for what seemed forever. The ground they stood on circled away from the waterfall and back into the forest, so they could not escape in that direction. The hunters were just starting to reach the rock, crawling up it and laughing, knowing they had the two dragon's cornered. Across from them, a few meters down was another ledge. Zhera roared dangerously as she sprinted to the cliff edge and leaped across, using her mighty wings to stay in the air. She landed hard on the opposite side, causing dirt to fly out from under the ledge. She howled a trill for Vaixon to continue, her desperate eyes were transfixed on him.

A spear landed beside Vaixon's right leg, he had to make the jump now or be killed. He ran at the edge and leapt, his wings folded out and made a massive down stroke. The pressure on his wings burned his wounds and he lost the power lift them again.

Panic attacked him and his heart pounded helplessly, he cried out as gravity gave presence; Vaixon spun around from the imbalance of ripped wings and started to plummet. Zhera cried as she watched him lose flight and desperately dived off the ledge as he passed, feverishly trying to reach him. She curved her wings backward to give her more speed. She shot downward and bent her wings a little to slide under Vaixon. Once he was above her, she spread her wings out to slow her decent and yelped as Vaixon's heavier body laid on her. She fought to keep stable and airborne, but the weight was too much.

No! She cried, trying to stay up with every last reserve of strength in her body.

The ground was almost near, just a little farther... With a last breath, her eye went white, wings and tail limp: She feinted from the effort and freely fell beside him...

The Ground was hard as rock, but broke easy, and very cold... The last thing Vaixon remembered.

Vaixon's eyes popped open and closed just as fast, pains attacked every muscle in his body. He ignored the pain and looked around, spotting half of Zhera nearby, the other half submerged in water. A large black bird cawed at her before jumping down on top of her. It opened it's beak up slightly and garbled a sign that it was about to feed. Vaixon quickly rose to his feet and growled a warning at the bird which hissed and flew away. Then he quickly grabbed Zhera's unconscious body with his tail, mouth, and one claw to pull her out of the pool, to the sandy shore. They had drifted forward down the river into a large opening, coming to a stop here in the still waters. Vaixon gently lowered Zhera to the ground and pushed her wings back into their folded position.

A layer of water coated the sand they laid on, it was soft and - unlike the icy cold river - slightly warm from the previous afternoon sun. Grass also grew in the sand, just rising above the water. Trees surrounded them in a half circle, connecting to the river. Rays of moonlight shined down among the leaves and reflected off the water into a mystical glow that caused all the flowers and plants to glimmer fluorescently. The glow also had a strange effect on Zhera's scales, they glistened as well but they shifted colours from emerald to gold as the light changed.

Vaixon stared intently at Zhera, cooing softly for her to wake up.

Wake up! He thought in distress, leaning in to nuzzle her cheek, Please wake up, if only to tell me you are safe! She stirred slightly then, but her eyes remained closed and he continued to whimper. It was all my fault, he thought, I couldn't make the jump, and now she suffers... Now I deserve to be alone, again...

Darkness. Zhera had little sense of sound, the vibrations were so disoriented, it sounded like heavy wind whooshing back and forth. She felt cold, very cold, and couldn't smell or taste, those senses were gone. She remembered what happened, her body and mind were in a state of recovery because she strained too hard. What seemed like an hour passed as she pondered on her strange senses, her worries and confusion.

She thought many times, I hope he is okay... I hope is safe...

Sometimes she wondered if she really wasn't alive, or if he left her... Or lost her...

A voice rang in her mind, it was definitely male, but she could barely make it out. She lost herself in thought again. Zhera jolted her attention back as a heated pressure touched her cheek then vanished. She could make out a voice again, definitely male, it was laced with anxiety and affection. The voice had no words, it was as if a barrier surrounded her head, and all vibrations were dulled to a steady note.

But no, this isn't sound, she realized, is it mental?

Zhera knew dragons had a language, and spoke telepathically, But just like all languages, it was a skill that needed teaching. She brushed the thought aside and concentrated harder, clearing her head completely through repetition thought, and listened.

Wake up... Wake up... It said... Wake up...

Wake up, she repeated, wake up... It must be my mind, the male must be from a long lost memory found in this stasis void.

Whatever train of thought she had afterwards was lost as a heat sank over her body. The warmth was enticing, and she felt safe.

Was it safe? She pondered.

Her mentality seemed to speed up, her thoughts that were before slow now seemed fast. It was like a part of her mind was holding her back, but now lifted, she felt clear and normal.

Wake up...

A hopeless sigh escaped his maw and carried, echoing through the trees as he laid beside and faced his unconscious mate. He had a wing draped over her and cuddled up against her cold body, attempting to keep her warm.

Even in the darkness of the night, Vaixon could see the moonlight flash across Zhera's eyes as they blinked open. Vaixon shivered his wings in excitement, watching as her haunted eyes slowly focused in on his. Her eyes softened and her expression relaxed; knowing he was with her brought a great relief, but it was still not enough to calm her. As she had learned in her secluded years, danger was forever present here.

Her wing was still ripped, and her shoulder was punctured; they both burned hot, causing her to squirm to her feet. Once Vaixon lifted his wing for her, she looked around and examined her surroundings, everything seemed quiet, calm, and peaceful... Her eyes adjusted and widened then, and she looked around this time with great awe, marvelling at the colors seemed to float in the air. Looking down, she saw the water below her. It reflected a perfect image of the sky and trees above, rippling with her movements.

The pain was almost too much to handle, he needed to get these weapons out of him. Several of the sharp rock-sticks were still stuck in his flesh, grinding against his muscles and bones painfully. Vaixon called out to her, he was worried at his draining strength and needed her help. Zhera quick padded over to him, noticing the pained tone. Vaixon shifted over and lifted a wing, exposing the damage. She squeaked and lowered herself, nuzzling his head gently. He gave her a pleading look and she seemed to understand.

A loud growl escaped Vaixon's maw as she tugged on the stone-stick with her jaw, ripping the first one out. Little blood leaked out, the puncture had already started to clog itself. She reefed on the second and it slipped out with a slurp. Vaixon cried out again, his wings started to shake as he felt her bite on to the last one. Pop! And it was out. He growled and stood up, panting as the pain slowly dulled. With the pain gone, he felt ready to continue. He looked at Zhera and swivelled his head, turning in the opposite direction towards the trees.

He made it three steps and realized he was alone.

Zhera laid on her side and rested her head flat on the ground, looking up at Vaixon. He loudly called for her to follow him, but she would not move.

Something is wrong...

Water splashed under his claws as he advanced toward Zhera. He stood tall behind her with his head above hers, looking down at her face. She tilted her head questioningly and Vaixon quietly yowled at her. No response came so he sighed and laid down on his uninjured side, folding one wing under him and the wounded wing spread over his legs to avoid irritation. Zhera noticed his pain and rolled over, quickly shuffling over to him. She found his injury and started to benevolently lick at it, cleaning the area around the wounds and protecting them with a layer of saliva.

Vaixon grumbled happily as she made the pain almost seem to go away with her gentleness. Then he lifted his wing up, inviting her to lay with him. She accepted his offer and laid down facing him. Her arms and legs embraced his, their tails wrapped around each other, strengthening their bond. Vaixon spread his wing protectively over Zhera as they pulled each other into a tighter embrace.

After some minutes passed, Vaixon could sense something was still wrong. Zhera felt it too, the sting from her wings and shoulder flared again. The feeling wasn't painful, her blood felt hotter than usual. She looked competitively into his eyes then bared her teeth, growling at him. As quick as Vaixon's flinch, she crossed his head and neck then bit at his shoulder. Her sharp teeth didn't penetrate his scales, but caused just enough pressure to hurt. He flexed his muscles against her jaw and growled back, but stopped himself from retaliating; she nibbled gentler, making her way up his neck, inch at a time. Vaixon squeezed her claws, relieved as he felt the all the worries in his life fade away from her massaging touch.

In her energetic frenzy, Zhera lifted her and Vaixon's tail out from under the water and bent it inwards. Holding on to his tail tightly, she traced it against her stomach, brushing his wet tail back and forth until he rubbed up against her swelling lips. She mewed faintly in her throat and stopped her biting at the top of his neck, arching her body against him. They crossed their heads in a draconic embrace. Vaixon pushed his neck, against hers, shivering at the idea.

She unwound her tail from his and returned the brushing sensation against his opening. He was holding it back and she knew it. Vaixon now knew what she was doing. He understood her eagerness; his blood had an effect on her arousal, so he kept pleasuring her outsides with his moist tail, teasing her. Zhera hissed at him in frustration, she would get what she needed from him. Her wings pushed against his and lifted them. She then hugged his body and rolled him over so that he was under her. Their eyes met and he could not look away or avoid her angry glare.

Her slim body quivered as it slowly lowered onto Vaixon's muscular frame. Their genitals touched, sending a shiver of excitement through him. Her sweet juices leaked in and around his opening. Her swollen vagina seemed dangerously hot as it caressed him. Vaixon stretched his wings to his sides and snapped them out of the water as an attack of pleasure shot through him, sending a shower of cool rain down upon them. He could not stand it anymore and his member started its journey to freedom. He felt ashamed that he could not control himself however he wasn't worried; this is what she wants.

As his tip started to escape him it met a resistance, the feeling of him against her moist vent sent another wave of fluids out of her and coated his member. Zhera lifted herself, this time she was the one teasing. She crawled backward until her head was over his pelvis. Calmly, she snaked her head down and kissed the side of his sticky opening, licking away her own bitter-sweet juices. His pinkish coloured penis grew longer and more firm as she used her lips to massage his base. The hot and slimy member was tapered and sprouted out of him like a flower: Weak, sensitive, beautiful, firm, and smelled sweet; the musky scent made her heart beat even faster.

Using her tail, Zhera guided Vaixon's tail up to her own privates. He gently rubbed her hole as she started to lick up and down the full length of him. Vaixon stared up at the glowing leaves and shot another joyful blast of water in the air. He could feel Zhera's body thrust along his tail and the next pass along her pelvis had just enough pressure for him to slide inside her well-lubricated lips. She contracted her muscles tightly, pushing him back out, daring him to push it back in. He complied.

Zhera's muzzle was just over his member, panting hot air down his now-polished shaft. The penis looked luscious and tasty, glistening from the moonlight. Zhera licked her tongue and, without warning, she greedily swallowed the whole member into her awaiting jaws, tasting the warm and sticky length. His tail tensed inside of her and she arched her back to push it in deeper. Her lips, cheeks, and slimy tongue contracted against and sucked him, she licked around the swollen member, taking whatever lubricant mixture it had into her gullet, gurgling with joy at the taste of whatever fluid escaped him. Her mouth was very hot and moist, she gushed his member around, feeling it with her tongue, pressing it against her teeth and gums; pressing it into her cheeks and as far down her throat as she could manage. Vaixon squirmed under her uncontrollably, he was near the edge of climax.

Zhera then stopped her pleasure just as fast as she started, releasing his flesh and letting him relax for a moment. Vaixon panted helplessly as she crawled back up his body. They were both ready for what was next. Vaixon held her tight and - almost in unison - they rolled over; water raced down his hide and wings, wetting Zhera's body. He hovered over her, his erect member hanged inches away from her sex, hard as ever. Their tails intertwined again and he nuzzled the side of her head adoringly.

Placing his tip against her slick genitals; she briskly thrust herself upward and devoured his member. The two dragons gasped as their sexes interlocked. Vaixon sprawled himself over her and tented his wings to cover them as Zhera tucked her wings into his. He grinded against her body and groaned as her vaginal muscles wriggled around, adjusting to his welcome size. The sensation was extraordinary and she was feverishly hot. He humped her instinctively and she responded by clenching against him harder and harder. He forced his way back in to her, filling her with his dragon flesh. Vaixon felt Zhera's chest rise and lower as she gasped for air. Her sultry breath ran down his neck. Organs pulsed uncontrollably against each other. Their tails tightened as Vaixon sunk deeper inside her. He fondled her jaw and licked at her throat. She graciously responded by licking him between his eyes. It felt like every part of their bodies touched, as if they were one being. Vaixon ventured for another half thrust, gently he slid back out, and was again swallowed in.

Zhera squealed in pleasure as the ecstasy between them amplified. Her insides started to tremor against him as she reached her climax. She savagely roared to the sky, her whole body tightened, fluids flooded around Vaixon's slippery length, squirting as they pushed out of the two dragons. The extra rasping and convulsing of her walls milked him, his roar added to hers and their bodies shivered against each other. He could not stop himself as he bit down on her, drawing blood from her neck. He tasted the hot fluid and clenched his member violently, slipping his full length in and pumping a load of cum deep inside. Zhera felt their juices mix, filling every inch of her sex. The thick and syrupy juices spread around his penis and he could not help but fill her more as their heated, swollen, and bound organs squirmed together. Her filled insides were unable to fully hold him and their sweet nectars vented out of her, leaking around their pelvises and sticking to her scales. Their gasps for air filled the silence. The delightful experience sapped their bodies as the adrenaline went away, leaving a wave of exhaustion to take them.

Vaixon sluggishly pushed off of Zhera, his member slurped out of her and caused another shudder of exhilaration. Their heads and tails still embraced as he fell to his side, she following with him. He grasped her reverently as if she would disappear without his touch. The world around them seemed to not exist as their blanketing wings folded into each other. Vaixon was undeniably happy and tears started to cloud his vision, leaking down his ridged head. Zhera leaned in close and flicked her soft tongue out, catching them, tasting their salty content. She licked his wet eyes this time, in two swift movements, cleaning them of any sadness that showed; he lifted his head to meet the penetrating eyes and saw the concern and confusion.

Those eyes held him in place for 3 heartbeats until he moved forward, pressing his muzzle against hers. It was Zhera's turn to cry. Her heart seemed to skip a beat as her golden maw was taken. She felt her head turn with his, and slowly they opened their maws and locked into each other. Their tongues timidly explored, touching one another in affectionate caresses until they perfectly slid together. The dragons ended their kiss by reluctantly pulling apart, letting saliva stay with one another.

Zhera nestled her nose under Vaixon's jaw, cooing faintly as he closed his eyes and purred back in happiness; the afternoon's joyful mysteries simmered freshly in Vaixon's head as he listened to her gentle snoring, slowly caressing her as the void took them - two lovers lost together in slumber.
