#7 of Land of the Elves

Kiseki's POV

Darkness is what I fell into once the explosion occurred. I felt my limp body being picked up after I fainted. I was scared. Not just for myself, but for Hikarume and Kage.

I knew who the man was.

I wished I could have told them, I really do, but he made sure that I wouldn't accomplish and knocked me unconscious. When I awoke next, I saw Hikarume's worried face. God I was glad to see a familiar face.

"Kiseki! I was so worried you wouldn't wake up! Are you alright?" she began to become hysterical with concern.

"Yes, I'm fine. There's no need to worry." I said in a small, shy voice.

In my peripheral vision I saw Kage walking towards me with a cup of water. I turned my head and see him standing there worried. He hands me the cup and I gladly drink down the cold water within a minute and give the glass back to Kage and muttered a kind thanks to him.

"Kiseki, do you know why that man kidnapped you?" Kage asked curiously.

I looked up at him and began to twiddle my thumbs, "I do know, but do you know who he is?"

Hikarume looked like tears were threatening to spill over, "Our father..."

"Exactly. His spirit was resurrected and to become full again,"

"What do you mean by, 'full?' I killed his sorry ass!" Kage punched his open palm in a gesture of violence.

"By full, I mean being able to be in this world without using a host, Kage. You killed and innocent elf that was being controlled by Koshech! (Note: Koshech is Hebrew and it translates into 'Darkness') Kage looked absolutely dumbstruck. He looked at his hands and clenched them in hatred.

"Kiseki, how the hell do you know this?" he asked whilst glaring at me. I felt kind of intimidated for a moment, and I realize how much Kage had grown since the last time I had seen him. He was much more burly and confident rather than the small and overly skinny boy from so long ago. I bring my attention back to his question at once.

"The diadem. Before he appeared, I put it on and memories came flooding in my head. I immediately took it off and threw it in the safe box in Hikarume's room.

"That saves me the time of forcing you to put it on. Now, tell us what the memories were about." Kage sat down on the ground in front of me.

"Well, the memories started in a wet cavern with four giant statues of dragons made out of different types of gems: sapphire, emerald, garnet, and onyx. Your mother and father were standing in front of it chanting some thing that I can't comprehend. The sapphire and emerald began to glow and a blinding light filled the area. When the next memory started, it was of the same place, but it was just your mom there and the onyx dragon was gone!" I shouted. I hope they understood what happened.

"I'm just guessing the onyx dragon was out father, Kage." Hikarume gazed at Kage for a while until he replied.

"Keh! So what? The memories could just be fake" he shot back. Hikarume gave him a 'you better shut your mouth before I hurt you' look with a low growl., "What!?" I honestly tried not to laugh.

"I understand you're trust towards me is not high, but I can insure you that these are real. I know the location of the cavern. We will go at noon. Best get sleep now, for the sun shall be rising." Wh-where'd that come from? Could it be the diadem. I honestly would have never thought to say that. Hikarume nodded and walked out of the room, but Kage didn't keep his eyes off me nor did he move. "Kage, are you alr-" He jumped on top of me on my bed with my arms pinned down, "Kage! What has gotten into you!? Get off of me!"

"I know you're little secret, Kiseki. I know you were with the bandits, because you were the one who took care of me before Tovua. That is why I cannot trust you." his voice was menacing when he spoke in my ear. My face paled. How did he know? Damn! I had hoped he wouldn't remember, and everything was good all week! Kage got off of my bed and walked down the spiraling staircase, his sapphire eyes in a glare.

"I guess I should be getting some sleep." I yawned. My blankets were spread out across the bed and my pillow was on the floor. Oh well, I'm too tired to care. As soon as my head hit the cold mattress, I fell into a deep sleep.
