The year is 2013 on an alternate earth where the cold war did not 1992. When what was though to be the prototype for the ultimate biological weapon was stolen from a top secret military base. It was designed to wipe out all humans that where not vaccinated off the face of the planet effectively leaving only those treated alive. Unbeknownst to the soviets who stolon it this weapon was actually an x-gean bomb and would activate the locked geans in a human body turning them into part animal upon activating it over 75% of the human race was wiped off the face of the planet in their place where the Morphs.
The side affect of the x-gean bomb was that all pollutants on the planet where purified and returned to earth as a nutritious substance that revitalized the environment. Along with restoring the environment all creatures gained the gift of tong. Allowing animal, morphs, and the 25% percent of the human race (now known as Pures) left to openly communicate with each other. This in turn cause animal testing of any kind with out the consent of animal illegal along with hunting for sport in year 2000. After much debate in the year 2002 Pures X Morph marriages became legalized opening the avenue to legalizing zoosexuality 2005.
Unbeknownst to the general public magic was also restored and magic users also known as immortals began to return and the few that had been here in hiding with what little magic they had left decided to hide in plain site. Immortals such as kitsunes, werewolves, and vampires could come out under the guise of being morphs.
Dictionary:
A
Ability: the unique power that only Pures have each on is different and only a pure knows the true name for there ability.
Angle of Death: A type of astral user whose job is to protect living souls till there destined time.
Alchemy: the magical ability to break an object down to the atomic level then reconstruct it into another.
Arch: when an Angle of Death fails to protect their charge less then 5 times and chooses to resurrect them blue there physical body is temporary destroyed blue markings appear all over there spirit body. They gain the same limitations as a Ghost only they are still capable of using minor magic. they gain their physical body back after the equivalent length of the charges remaining life span is met +20 years for every charge that died before.
Astral projection: the magical ability to temporary project ones spirit to another location but leaves its body in an unconscious state.
Astral user: a type of Immortal that only has powers while astral projecting I.E. Angle of Death

- Beast Tamer: an Immortal that specializes in familiar magic.
C
Changeling: a type of Immortal that was once mortal but due to some event in their life they became an Immortal.
Cleaners: an immortal police force that specialists in keeping Immortals there usually made up of Fairies and Kitsunes.
Curse: a magical affliction tat is caused by the backlash of a spell, a hex, or a hexed object.
D
Demon: a type of Rouge that is a threat to the mortal races it can be any type of immortal.
Devils Mark: a magical crest that mark appears on any Rouge that has become a Demon each is different but any Immortal that sees it will instantly know they are a demon.

- Elementalist: an Immortal that specializes in one or more elemental magic such as earth or water magic.
F
Fairies: a type of Immortal that is gifted in nature, healing, and Illusion magic.
Fallin: when an Angle of Death fails to protect their charge 5 times the 5th automatically becomes a Grave Digger and there physical body is destroyed an Red f appears on their fore head and they have the same limitations as a ghost.
G
Ghost: an earth bond spirit with no magic and if they enter a grave yard they can never leave.
Grave Digger: a type of Changeling that was brought back to life by their Angle of Death because it was not there destined time. This can only a cure when a Grave Robber comes into existence and causes the angle to be come either a Fallin or an Arch.
Grave Hatred: this is the hatred that is often born between Grave Diggers and Grave Robbers being the nature in which they often come into existence.
Grave Robber: a is someone who is able defy destiny and become an immortal on what was suppose to be their destined time they often due this by in inadvertently having some one else take there place though some acceptations are made.
Graveyard Academe: The schools that teach changelings how to be an immortal and help prepare them for there future it is located in a Nexus class Pocket dimension in order to enter before registration is to go through a grave yard. All Changelings will be guided to academe even if there is no Immortal there during the change a representative will find and take them to the academe.
Grey: an Immortal that has begone training as a grim but dose not have their Personal Scythe.
Grim: an Immortal who is training to become a Reaper and has acquired there Personal Scythe.
Grim Reaper: an retired Reaper whose job it is to train the next generation of Reapers.
H
Hidden Immortal Gean: also known as HIG or the Suppressed Immortality Gean is basically a gean passed down to mortal from an Immortal ancestor and can become active at any point in time and is the cause of every 1 in 100 Changeling coming into existence and is the cause of 1 in every 1000 Grave Robbers coming into existence.
Hex: a type of malicious spell meant to cause prolong damage to an opponent it is always.
I
- Immortal: any magic user *All Immortals have a significantly greater life span than Mortals.
K
- Kitsune: A type of Immortal resembling a fox Morph their power level is gauged by how many tails they have 1 being the weakest 9 being the strongest the exception to this rule are Black Kitunses where a 1 tail is equivalent to a 9 tail.
P
- Personal Scythe: The weapon of a Reaper and what a Grey must acquire in their first 3 months of training in order to become a Grim. It is the Physical manifestation of an Immortals heart. to look at it is to see the very nature of its user and it can come in any form very few are scical shaped.
R
Reapers: An Immortal police force that specializes in investigating cases involving demons Demon. Once it is confirmed a demon is involve, they send in Red Hunters to capture the demon.
Red Hunters: a division of the Reapers they specializes in detaining or in extreme circumstances eliminating demons unlike other Reapers they can Manifest their Personal Scythe into a sentient being known as a Hearts True Form.
