It's out

Chapter 13

I woke and found Kino still asleep. I kissed him gently. "Oh Kino." I

snuggled with him kissing him again, and got out of bed. I walked into

Jay's room, and he was still in a coma. I wonder... I took a deep

breath "Here goes anything." I touched his head and focused as hard as

I can. Everything began to go fuzzy. Then, everything went black.

Brian (mind)

I saw Jay just walking down a path. I walked up to him "Jay?" He

didn't respond, and he kept walking. I pulled his arm, but he kept

walking. "Can't you hear me?" "My name isn't Jay." I looked at him

and walked beside him. "What's your name then?" I grabbed his arm

pulling him back, but I tripped on a rock as he began to drag me. "Why

should I tell you?" I let go and stood up brushing the dirt off of me.

"Because I'm part of your family." He stopped as I walked up to him.

"Your not part of my family! I have no family!" I held him tightly "I

am part of your family and you are part of mine." He moved his hands

up as we appeared in a house engulfed by flames. The flames themselves

seemed to do no damage to us like this is all a memory. He pointed to

two burning bodies. "That's my family! Being burned alive! By humans!"

I looked away. He then pointed to the blue haired boy in the corner.

Crying...for his parents. The mom reached out for her child, but her arm

dropped as part of the ceiling came crashing down crushing the mother

and father. I heard the mother scream for Stephen to run away. The boy

cried, but he did as he was told and left threw the window. "Jay..."

"But wait it gets better." He began walking upstairs so I followed

him. There I saw a baby crying. "That is my baby brother." I looked at

him and he had blond hair with chubby cheeks and a blue blanket

covering him up. I was about to go out and touch his cheek as the

floor broke making him fall down. I couldn't hear the crying any more.

I flinched and began to cry softly. "It's not done yet." The scene

changed to the outside of the burning house. It was Jay running

away, but a group of men stopped him. I couldn't hear what they were

saying to him, but I saw them began punching and kicking him once he

was on the ground. "No! Stop it your going to kill him!" I knew it was

pointless, but still I ran and tried to cover him. I could still feel

the punches hitting my body, but so did he. The scene changed quickly,

and he was all alone bleeding and bruised. He looked straight at me

crying blood. "Why couldn't you do anything to save me!" He was

speaking to his parents, but it felt like he was saying it right at

me. I flinched as everything began to fall to pieces. Only me and

Stephen were left here. He kept walking slowly away. "Wait!" I grabbed

him tightly he could feel my tears falling down in him. "Let go of

me!" He tossed me to the ground and saw me crying like a baby. He

looked at himself for a bit and went on his knees going over to me "Do

you really care about me?" I couldn't speak, but I could nod my head.

He touched my shoulder as the world around us became to crumble. "Will

you be..."

Kino

I saw Brian on the floor bleeding from his nose. I picked him up as

Jay opened his eyes. "Jay?" He didn't say anything for a while. He

just ran over to me holding my tightly and began to cry. "I'm so

sorry." Soon enough Brian woke up looking at us smiling slightly. "My

little boy..." He shut his eyes as I felt his pulse quickly. He was

asleep thank god. Jay got on my back and he was still crying. He's

changed. I took Brian and Jay to our room. Sigh. "Ghost can you take

Jay down stairs he's probably starving." "Sure come on Jay." Ghost

grabbed Jay by his arm taking him downstairs. I looked over at

Brian's bleeding nose. It looks like he may also have bruises on him.

I stroked his body slowly. He began to nudge slightly. His eyes opened

quickly and he sat up quickly hitting me on the forehead. "Ow!" He

looked at me straight into my eyes. He smiled slightly and kisses my

forehead "You know that I love you right?" I laughed slightly at him

"Of course I know." "Then it's fine if we're their parents right?" He

looked at me with tears in his eyes as if I said no he will burst into

tears "Sigh, yes it's fine if we become their parents." "Good because

I kind of told Stephen that we are. Oh and Jay's real name is

Stephen." Of course he did. Wait parents equal a mom and dad right? If

so am I the mom? Is that why he was acting all cute because he said

I'll be the mom!? "Who's the mom?" He blushed "I-It's me." "Ok at

least it makes sense." "What are you implying?" Crap did I just make

it sound like I'm saying he basically is a girl. "No, no I wasn't

saying that you are like the perfect fit for fitting the mom because

you act like a girl or anything." "You never said I acted like a

girl." Crap. Ding "That's the door I'll go get it." I ran out of the

room and opened the door to see Axel at the door with something

wrapped around it. "Dude you have to see this shit." "This isn't the

best time Axel." "That's Axel? Why haven't you told me you were still

talking to him? It would have been nice to know who you're always

with." "Hey there Brian no grudge for high school life?" "No, it's

fine didn't really bother me that much." That's a lie. Axel came in

and set the thing on the table "Well Kino you have to check this out."

It looked like it could fit in anyone's hand. It looked like some type

of scanner. "What does it do Axel?" I hope Axel doesn't say much about

what we do on the side. "Well you two it scans for people who are gifted."

Brian didn't say anything at first "What makes you think there's such

a thing as supernatural things?" He laughed slightly "Didn't Kino ever

tell you? I'm a vampire duh." Brian didn't say anything he didn't even

look at me. "I trust you enough to tell you everything in my life, but

you don't trust me enough to tell me your best friend is a vampire..."

"Brian you know it's a rule to tell people about vampires." Brian

didn't look at me he was about to say something, but Axel cut him off

"Kino you can tell other people that are dash were part of the

supernatural world. Brian was the one who was almost breaking a rule,

but you are part of the supernatural world so he didn't brake it

knowingly. He just really trusted you enough to tell you the type of

world he was part of. Seeing the few council members who know what is

going to happen might cheek on him, because of certain things he's tied too.

If things become way out of

control because of it then he would ether be killed or have his

memories wiped. But, he told you a person who is in the same world

he's part of. Well that's what I hear around town." I looked at Brian

and he was crying not normal crying, but crying like he doesn't know

it. He only does this when he thinks he's hiding his sadness. I took a

step towards him as he stepped back shaking his head. "Brian I would

have told you." "But you didn't. I told you everything I didn't care

if people would have gotten mad. We've lived together for two years

and I was able to trust you ever since and loved you ever since. But

apparently it was a one sided love. Seeing you didn't trust me enough

to keep any of your secrets." "Brian I do love you I really do." He

covered his ears crying more "Shut up and get out!" It was weird I

could feel something like sadness crawling all over my skin, and it

wasn't my own. I think it belongs to Brian. "Brian..." "Get out now!

Ghost get them out!" I was about to reach out for Brian as Ghost came

out with Noah. Ghost grabbed my body tossing me out the window. Noah

and Axel were having a stare down, but Axel walked out the door. I

looked back at the house seeing Stephen, Noah, and Ghost. Looking

straight at me. Axel grabbed my hand pulling me away from the house as

one by one they all left the window. "You can crash with me till this

thing blows over ok?" I didn't speak nor moved, but some how he was

able to move me.

Brian's words still ranged in my ears "you didn't trust me enough to

keep any of your secrets." Sigh Axel gave me some soda, but I couldn't

drink it or eat anything. Axel sat in front of me "Hey dude snap out

of it." "Why there's no point he doesn't trust me and probably hates

me now." I began to cry slightly "Dude remember what you told me

before?" "No..." "You told me that you absolutely love him." "That

doesn't matter anymore." "Yes it does come on let's go back there and

you speak from your heart to him." I should, I should tell him

everything every secret I may have he trusts me and I trust him and I

so do love him hell I'll even marry him. "I'll marry him." He laughed

slightly and looked at me "He may think that it's an impulse, but do

you really want to do this?" He's right Brian might just reject me

thinking I'm just doing it to make him feel better. Should I do it? I

really love him and if marrying makes him happy then I will marry him.

God I need to practice and shit. "Axel will you help me in this?" He

smiled and laughed slightly "You know it Kino I'm going to do my best to

help you." "I need to go see if my boss will give me enough money to

buy a ring for him."

"Miss Cortez I have to ask for a favor." She looked at me with a

somewhat cold look "Yes what is it?" "Can I have a raise?" She looked

at me and her cold look left "Yes you have been working hard."

"And can I have an advancement on my pay." "By how much?" "How much

would an engagement ring cost?" She smiled happily "Ah so your finally

marrying that boy well we're closed up so I'll come with you. What

color does he like?" "Black it's our color. We made it our color." I

smiled slightly as she looked at me "I'll ask him some more questions

seeing it looks like my big strong bouncer is going to keep crying if

I ask him more questions." "No, it's going to be a surprise." "Ah I

see well come on let's go to the jewelry shop and get you two a ring."

Miss Cortez took the lead and showed us a place that were selling

rings. I saw one that caught my eye it was a ring with black diamond

on top with white pearls circling it. The ring looked like demon's

wings being pulled back to create an opening for the finger to slide

into. "That's perfect." A man came over and pulled it and the one next

to it out. It was almost the same but it had a clear white diamond

with black pearls circling it with angel's wings begin pulled

back to create the opening. I wasn't sure, but I felt like the angel's

wing one was calling out to me. The man looked at me and then glanced

over at Miss Cortez. "Well I was never going to sell these rings so

just give me five hundred and I'll give you the boxes for them too." I

gave him one thousand dollars and looked at me he didn't say anything.

But, he gave me the rings and two boxes the angel in white and demon in

black. The white box was white on the outside and baby blue inside,

and the black was black on the outside with a gentle shade of red. I

put on the angel ring on my finger and looked at it Axel spoke to me

"Kino it suits you. You know?" I looked at it and it looked amazing. I

looked at Miss Cortez and Axel "Thank you." They both smiled as Miss

Cortez walked out of the shop "I should go open up now. Kino hun you

don't need to come to work for a while ok? Just think of that as a

favor for him." Axel looked at me "She's one of the most nicest witch I've

ever met." "She's a witch?" "You never knew god dude catch up." "Well

what ever come on I have to get to Brian and ask him to marry me!" I

am over joyed. I hoped on my bike with Axel holding onto me as I drove

to Brian my future.

I drove up to our house to find it half destroyed. Axel stayed silent

as I ran in "Brian!" I ran inside and saw Noah knocked out. He was

barely alive breathing heavily. I saw Axel picked him up as he grabbed

the scanner also. I saw Stephen on the floor twitching and Ghost

bleeding like crazy right next to him. He began to speak "I-I'm a

failure as a guardian..." "Where's Brian!" "They took him..." He shut

his eyes and stopped moving. I didn't know how to cheek if he was

still alive. Axel took them all outside as I looked in our room. Who

ever took him took him without much struggle, but Brian's necklace was

on the floor. I grabbed it and pulled out the floor board. Taking my gear out from it. I kept it a secret from Brian and walked outside where Axel was waiting. I was surprised to see Miss Cortez there "I'll take these three back and see if I can't fix them

up." "Thank you Miss Cortez please take care of my children. Axel you

go with her. Axel do you know who got him?" He looked at me a bit "There's

a lot of human blood, but there is also vampire scent there. It's

possible that they took him back to be used as bait later on." I

clenched my fist "I'm coming Brian!" I screamed it as loud as I could

so they could hear me. I will save you and risk my life for you. I

turned on the scanner and saw he went east. I jumped onto my bike

and kicked it in gear. I promised I will protect you and I will.
