It had gotten to be afternoon by the time I found the road, and began walking on it about half an hour ago, it was tiring, I was tired and wanted to rest dreadfully, but I knew I had to move forward. "Keep going." I encouraged myself pathetically.
But finally, I heard the noise of people, life, a horse neighing could easily be heard, and I soon found myself running, forgetting about how tired I was, or how bad my legs ached, I ran up and finally saw the small buildings and sighed in relief.
I was finally somewhere, a town, brushing off my dress as best as I could I got to the first building, it looked to be somebody home, I swept behind it and around, moving to walk behind the buildings and continued walking.
Trying to keep out of sight as best as possible, I didn't need people seeing me, I just needed to keep walking, 'Keep walking.' I thought to myself yet again, I needed the self encouragement.
The chatter of men, women, and some children could now be heard, but I still kept quiet and walking behind the buildings, I didn't need anyone finding me, I stopped for a moment and caught my breath, I just wanted to sink down onto my knees and stay there till tomorrow, but I forced myself to move forward and further into the town.
