#4 of Summer Days

The next chapter in my Summer Series, at long last! After that dreadfully long wait, I hope this makes up for it!

Derek moaned lightly, rubbing his head as he awoke again. Unlike the night before, this moan was laced with annoyance. The dalmatian stretched out his body from underneath the covers, grunting as he heard and felt his joints pop. With a yawn, he wearily glanced at the clock on his bedside table and groaned seeing the time. 7:47 A.M. 'Way too early to be waking up on the second day of summer vacation', he thought.

He tossed and turned, trying to find a comfortable position again, but no matter what he did, he always felt an uncomfortable pinch or pull around his stomach. After several minutes of trying to get to get back to sleep, it was clear his body was wide awake. He growled in annoyance, lifting the blankets up and looking at his stomach. His eyes widened as he saw his stomach fur clumped together, the telltale signs of last night's wet dream.

"Oh, you've gotta be kidding me," he sighed, kicking his blankets off. True to his worries, his sheath and belly still had dried cum on it. Brushing his stomach, he could feel the dried fluid start to flake off. He ran his claws through the clumped fur, wincing as the pinching sensation returned when he brushed over a particularly rough patch.

'Right, I was gonna shower before breakfast,' he groused to himself, tapping his fist to his head as he mentally cursed himself. 'Stupid, stupid, stupid...'

His conscious fully knocked into him, the young dalmatian sat up in his bed, taking in his room. He looked toward his blind-covered window briefly, the sun's rays only just barely peeking through the folds. 'Can't even hear any birds out, it so early...' he thought. 'Why did I think that was a good idea?'

Derek rubbed his eyes, getting the sleep out of them. 'And why did it have to be a wet dream? Couldn't have just cum when I was awake?' With a growl, he rubbed his muzzle, making frustrated faces in the palms of his paws. 'And why... and why...' He flopped back down on the bed, staring at he ceiling in silence. 'And why am I not more worried that I had just dreamt about my brother like that...and enjoyed it?!'

He sighed and turned to look at the clock again. 8:13. 'If I wanna beat the morning traffic, I'd better go now'. With a huff, he finally got out of bed, giving his body another stretch as he stood up. Looking back on his bed, he saw the red towel from the previous night bunched up from his tossing and turning.

'Almost forgot about that.' He shook the crumpled towel loose from the rest of his sheets, and wrapped the wrinkled cloth around his waist. Next, the young dalmatian snatched a t-shirt from inside his dresser, slipping it on and letting it hang loose in the front. 'With any luck, I'll be in the shower before anyone notices.'

With some hesitance, he gripped the door knob to his room, turning it slowly. 'No time like the present.' With a small tug, he pulled his door open, thankful for the lack of a dramatic 'squeak' that he feared would come. He peeked his muzzle out of his door, checking for any signs of life in the hallway. His ears drooped as he turned to where his brother's room was. The door at the end of the hallway was opened, indicating the elder dalmatian was out and, most likely, in the bathroom.

Derek sighed, slipping out of his room, hoping that his brother was downstairs. He trudged out to the hallway to the bathroom he and his brother shared. Despite it being morning, it wasn't cold in the slightest. Another reason he liked summer: no frantic runs to the bathroom to avoid the morning chill.

Derek grumbled as he heard the shower running, meaning his own would have to be postponed, but was surprised when he saw his brother standing outside the door. The older dalmatian was wrapped in his purple bathrobe, tapping his foot and swishing his tail to an unheard rhythm as he waited outside.

"Adam?"

"Oh, hey, bro," Adam smiled. "What're you doing up so early?

The younger dalmatian blushed, fiddling with his shirt so that the evidence of his late night fun wouldn't show itself.

"I just... woke up early," he shrugged, silently praying his scent wouldn't give him away.

"Heh, good on ya. Early to rise and all that," he chuckled, before turning to the closed door. "Dad certainly has that in mind. He's taking a shower. Apparently their shower's on the fritz."

"I see" Derek said. His gaze looked over the purple bathrobe his brother wore. "So you wanna take one too?"

Adam shrugged his shoulders again. "Kinda. Maybe I just like walking in the buff" He opened the front of his robe briefly, showing off his nudity. A brief mental flash of the night before went through the dalmatian's head, making him turn away with a blush.

"Dude," he whispered , "Do you know how much Mom'll flip if she sees you--?"

"It won't be that bad." His brother waved. "It'll be awkward, but not bad. Besides, you know they've seen us naked. That rule is just for the patio, where the neighbors can see us."

Derek's gaze withered from his brother's point. His mind was still hazy from his early morning thoughts and not fully functional yet. Though as that bit of information sunk in, a grin tugged at his muzzle. He couldn't pass up the opportunity to rib his brother a little, after all.

"If I didn't know any better, I'd say you liked being in the nude all day," he wiggled his eyebrow at his brother. Adam grew a smug grin of his own.

"Could say that. Maybe not all the time, but it'd definitely have its perks..."

"Showoff" Derek teased, swatting the older dalmatian's arm.

Adam stuck his tongue out, but retracted it quickly as the bathroom door opened. James Hendrix stood drying his head, donned in his own green bathrobe. The eldest dalmatian kept in relatively good shape, his physique belying his true age. He kept most of his figure from his college sports days, even with the change in lifestyle, and it showed. One only had to look at their sire to know where the boy's athletic genes came from.

"Oh, sorry guys," He chuckled, seeing his sons waiting. "You should've told me if I was taking too long. I'm not used to have anyone waiting on me in there."

"It's alright dad," Adam spoke up. "We weren't waiting long. Plus you warmed the shower for us!"

"Maybe too well," James smirked. "Just don't be too long. I'll let your mother know you're up so she can have breakfast ready."

Two sets of tongues wet anticipating lips at the mention of the female dalmatian's cooking. "Okay!" both called to their father. As he turned the corner that led to the staircase, Adam opened the bathroom door, the stuffy air from its previous use washing over the siblings.

"So, why are you up so early anyway?" Derek wondered.

"You weren't the only one to have an exhausting first day of summer vacation, little bro." Adam's wink made the younger dalmatian blush, the memories and dream all coming back to him. That blush grew as Adam hung his bathrobe on a hook on the door, leaving him naked as the day he was born... again.

"Yeah, well, I didn't intend on having that happen, ya know?"

"But you enjoyed it. Said so yourself, right?" The naked dalmatian elbowed his younger sibling playfully. Derek just chuckled weakly. "Besides, what else is summer vacation for?"

"More than just a fluke run-in with the neighbor's dog," He muttered to himself. Derek watched as Adam rummaged through the wall mounted cabinet for his toothbrush. "Hey, you mind if I use the shower first?"

"Sure, go for it," Came his brother's affirmative.

With that, he quietly disrobed, placing his night shirt on the counter. Adam glanced at his brother, and couldn't help but chuckle as Derek tried to cover his modesty, keeping his sheath out of view. "No need to be so shy, bro. Nothing I haven't seen before."

Derek's blush never left his face, he could only cover himself as he moved to the shower. Adam grinned as his brother's butt came into view, and his grin widened with the nice opportunity.

The younger dalmatian yipped as he felt his brother's paw swat his exposed rump, barely stopping himself from jumping up. He turned to his brother, still holding his butt as he fought between being aroused and frustrated.

"Well, now I know why you need a shower this early in the morning," His brother's cheeky grin grew even wider as he saw his sheath and clumped up stomach fur, the tell tale signs of his masturbation still on him. "Wet dream?"

His ears stiffened at that, and he wondered if his muzzle looked the same shade as a tomato from how hard he was blushing.

"Hah, I'll take that as a yes," Adam grinned, finally moving to the toilet. "Just save some of the hot water for your dear older brother, alright?"

Derek entered the shower, breathing to try and calm his blush down. Surprisingly, the sound of his brother pissing helped distract him mind.

'It's come to the point where hearing my brother pee calms me down... I'm so messed up.' He could only chuckle as he turned the shower on, leaning into the warmed spray as he adjusted the heat.

Breakfast at the Hendrix household proceeded as usual, in spite of the brothers' escapades. Their early awakening led to the previous school routine being followed, with things running like clockwork, though at a much more relaxed pace. Gone were the subtle glances at the clock, made by both parent and son alike, to make sure everyone left the house at their right times.

Instead, the brothers Hendrix found themselves busied by a much fuller meal their mother usually saved for weekends. Each one had a large omelet in front of them, with a stack of pancakes and bacon in the middle of the table to be shared. Their father was reading a newspaper, his plate empty and cleaned, save for a few strips of bacon which he munched on.

Their mother was finishing in the kitchen, putting away the dirty pots and pans into the sink to soak. Upon hearing the two rush down the stairs, she returned to the dining room, a small smile on her slim muzzle as she watched her sons devour her cooking.

"I didn't expect you two up so early. I wanted to treat us to an old fashioned brunch today," Samantha Hendrix, more commonly known as 'mom' to the brothers, jibbed with a giggle. "I was almost disappointed! But it's still early on in the month, so its good to be prepared."

"Aw, ya spoil us mom!" Adam said before stuffing his muzzle with another large bite of his omelette.

"Your mother's just in a good mood," The eldest Hendrix chuckled. He dipped his newspaper to look at his sons, both still engrossed with their mother's banquet. "With you two boys doing so well, she's been absolutely beaming all day. Nothing like good marks on your report cards to do a parent proud."

Through it all, Derek chewed his pancakes with a light blush on his face. 'If they only knew...' he thought. It almost made him lose his appetite. Almost. It still bugged him, though, that his summer was turning out so wild. He knew his mother would have a conniption if she knew even half of what was going through his mind at the moment. And his father...

"Derek!" His father's voice broke him from his thoughts. The young dalmatian looked around, seeing all eyes on him. Nervously, he swallowed his mouthful of pancake.

"Um, sorry. Could you repeat that?"

"We asked if you had any plans for today." His father reiterated. "Since your brother's going to be heading to his friends' place, we wondered if you were going to do likewise."

While hearing of his brother's plans disappointed him slightly, it did bring up a good point. A good distraction might just put his mind at ease, and, failing that, he knew he had at least one friend with whom he could trust if he needed to talk about it.

"Yeah," He nodded. "I'm gonna visit Justin, if that's alright."

Justin, a fairly average rabbit in most regards, was one of Derek's oldest friends and was usually the go-to guy whenever the dalmatian had plans to go out. More often than not, the duo would spend most of their free nights staying up and playing games into the wee hours of the morning, and ended up staying the night at the end of it all.

"Well, of course it is dear." His mother cheerily said. "Just call if you want to sleep over so we know not to worry."

Derek ducked his head again, munching on another pancake, trying to keep his light blush from deepening. Never mind the deviancy that he'd done yesterday, he forgot he never told them he was gay to begin with. Moreover, he never told them about one of the bigger reasons he liked spending so much time with Justin. 9th grade was one of the more exciting times in his life...

"Right, I will," He managed out, aware of how long he left the question hanging.

The quartet continued eating at their leisurely pace, all parties glad to not have to rush out the door to miss a connection. After another 10 minutes, 3 well fed dalmatians leaned back in their chairs, Mrs. Hendrix looking bemused at the group as she finished up her own meal.

"As good as always hun," Mr. Hendrix chuckled, stifling a burp. Adam was less inclined, and let out his own appreciation with a loud belch. Derek and James snickered while the eldest son got a glare from his mother.

"Adam!" She scolded, though it lacked any real bite to it.

"Only in front of the family, I know." He smiled, sitting up and folding his paws in his lap. Through their early years as pups, Samantha instilled a sense of politeness in her boys. They both knew from their mother's teachings that it wasn't polite to let loose a belch in public. It was a general compromise that came at the reactions of an unruly, young Adam that had it be okay to be so crude in family's company.

Usually Adam always acted super polite after he burped in his mother's presence, partially to show he remembered what he taught her, and partially to, again, show off. It also served to spur Derek as well, either to match up with his brother, or look polite in from of their parents.

"Boys, would you mind cleaning the dishes?" Their mother asked, sensing her son's not-so-subtle queue to be useful.

"Of course!" Came the all too chipper and playful reply, the elder brother picking up his dishes as well as Derek's and rushing off to the kitchen.

The younger dalmatian huffed, muttering a quick "I'll help" before moving to pick up his parents' plates and trailing after his brother.

"Never fails to amaze me how easy it is sometimes," James chuckled quietly, his ears listening to the tell tale signs of the dogs hard at work.

***

Derek glanced at his brother, his arms on autopilot as he cleaned the various pots and pans. His brother seemed to be his usual self, not at all bothered that he had just discovered his brother doing inappropriate things with the neighbor's dog, and then jerking him off in the shower. While it made the dalmatian happy that his brother wasn't angry with him, it still confused him as to why he was so lax with it all.

'Is he really so easy going? Did he really want to give me a paw job back there? Could he even be...?' His mind almost wouldn't let him finish that thought, too jumbled to possibly add that to something that might've been more than fantasy.

Still, it couldn't hurt to ask.

"Adam..." he gulped, his pace slowing as he became aware of his actions. His brother answered with an affirmative grunt, still keeping his pace. "About yesterday..."

"Hmm? What about it?" He turned to the younger dalmatian, a playful grin on his muzzle. "What, ya wanna brag about your insanely kinky escapade some more?" He said, speaking just above a whisper, which only served to make the insinuation all the more perverted.

Derek could feel his cheeks flushing hard. "It's not bragging!" He tried to match his brother's tone, but found it hard to do with the nervousness in his system. "I just... wanted to know..." He trailed off, unable to complete his thought.

"What if I've ever done anything that wild?" Adam picked up after several moments of silence, still in a hushed tone. "Nope, in that area ya got me beat." His voice rose back to normal as he patted his brother's back. "Congrats, bro! FInally managed to out do me!"

It was an odd feeling of embarrassment and pride that flooded the younger dalmatian. Adam's competitive nature garnered from his sports team in school had rubbed off onto Derek at some point, and drove the dalmatian to try his hardest to best Adam in several areas that he excelled in. Usually with less then stellar results.

"I told you, I wasn't really trying to..."

"Hah, rub it in why don't ya?" Adam laughed, reaching for a towel laying near the dish rack.

"That's not what I..." Derek sighed, seeing this was going nowhere. He really couldn't bring himself to ask if his brother's actions may have meant more then what they were. And even if he could, no doubt the bigger dog would just play it off as a joke. He usually did with subjects that made him slightly uncomfortable. "Never mind. It was nothing."

The dalmatians resumed their tasks, Adam now putting away the dry dishes into their proper places. For a few minutes, the sound of lightly clinking dishes and utensils filled the kitchen room.

"We can't really have that kind of conversation with our parents in the next room," Adam's voice cut through the light noise like a knife, and Derek almost hurt his neck from how fast he did a double take. It held a serious tone in it that he wasn't used to hearing from his brother, but it wasn't unhappy. "If you wanna talk about it later, we can though."

"We can?" He felt his smile as relief washed over him. His brother's chuckles brought back some of the earlier embarrassment.

"Sure, why not? You seem all too eager to share what happened anyway." He gave a teasing grin. "I've been told I have magic paws, but I never knew they worked for both sides of the fence!"

Next thing Adam knew, he was being splashed with dishwater, courtesy of one Derek Hendrix. The younger dalmatian giggled, and Adam could feel some of the soap suds on his forehead.

"Yeah, I deserved that." He couldn't help but laugh at his own expense, joining his brother.

***

The dogs laughter reached the dining room table, both parents shaking their heads at the two's antics.

"Sibling rivalry," James chuckled, going back to his paper. Though they didn't have a fierce competitiveness to them, Adam always seemed to know how to push his brother's buttons when he wanted to.

"As long as their careful with my dishes," Samantha smiled along, leaning over to her husband. "By the way, you have some syrup on your muzzle"

"Do I?" James looked at his wife, folding his newspaper and leaning forward. "Silly me. Would you mind getting it for me?"

Samantha giggled, cupping her husband's muzzle and licked over his slightly sticky muzzle. James' closed his eyes, turning his head slowly as his wife licked. It wasn't long before she was facing him and the licks slowly melted into a kiss. James' paw reached over to cup his wife's head, his tongue sliding out to meet hers as he made to deepen their embrace.

"Careful now, dear," She pushed her husband away, standing up and taking his plate. "We'll have plenty of time when the boys go out." She leaned in, whispering in his ear. "You got the day off right?"

James' tail stiffened up hearing the tone in his wife's voice, nodding once. "I...." He gulped as his wife took his ear in her maw, nibbling and licking it. "I have, yes."

Samantha let his ear go, giggling softly and yet innocently, as if she hadn't had a seductive tone to her suggestion before. "Good. Just sit there while I take care of these."

He inhaled, seeing her wife's arm slowly caressing his chest, moving out of the way to collect his plates. His wife pressed her arms together, accentuating her bosom and stifling a giggle as James' gaze was drawn downwards. Just as suddenly as she started, she pulled away, taking the dishes with her.

"Still a damn tease, after all these years." He panted, watching her shapely rump sway as she went into the kitchen as well. "But dammit if she isn't good at it."

***

Their mother sauntered into the kitchen, smiling at her children. The two brothers were both hard at work cleaning and organizing the dishes, working with each other in favor of against one another. It made her proud to see them cooperate, she almost didn't want to interrupt them. Her tongue licked at some syrup on her muzzle. Almost.

"Alright boys," The two dalmatians turned to their mother, putting their dishes down. "I appreciate you wanting to help, but I'm sure you don't want to spend all day cooped up in here. Let me take care of this, you two go out and enjoy your day. It'd be a shame to be cooped up here when the summer's just starting."

Derek and Adam looked to each other and smiled knowingly. The two picked up on their mother's behavior whenever she was in the mood. Well, more like Adam picked up on it and told Derek about the signs.

"Got'cha, mom." Adam said trying to keep an even tone. "We'll get outta your hair."

Derek couldn't help but grin at the thought. "Yeah, thanks!"

With a quick drying of their paws, both boys were out of the kitchen and bounding up the stairs to get dressed. Samantha chuckled lightly at the pair's eagerness. For a brief moment, she had to wonder if they were excited for the same reason she was. The thought made her pause, but only for a second. She was shooing them away for her own deviancy after all.

'They're good boys. They'll be careful.' She reassured herself, falling into routine with the few dishes the boys left behind. 'Besides, it's not like they're into anything too outlandish. I mean, what could they possibly be doing at their age?'
