It was a nice day in Ponyville. Twilight Sparkle was walking home from visiting her friends when she passed a house with some stuff sitting outside. A yard sale. It couldn't hurt to take a little time to check it out.

Twilight looked through the things laid out on the tables and blankets, and saw some books that were not in her library's collection. She asked how much they were and was told "7 bits the lot", so she happily brought them all.

Upon getting home she set them down on an empty table, and then looked at her collection of books. They seemed to be getting a bit over-crowded, but Twilight didn't care; she could always re-organize.

At the same time, Fluttershy was looking after some stray animals; every time they left she felt sad, so she then told them that if they wanted to stay they could. The animals were a bit confused, but nodded. It was much better then going back outside to the woods or plains beyond town and getting hurt again or even killed. Fluttershy smiled warmly as she got some more feed for them.

In her boutique, Rarity was looking though her dresses. She had kept so many of the dresses she'd made for her friends that had hardly been used; She couldn't just get rid of them, what if they where needed again? She had also kept all the off cuts of her dresses; they might come in handy too.

Rainbow Dash sat outside her home waiting; she then got her copy of Wonderbolts Weekly's latest issue. She had everything related to them, even some of Soarins old pie dishes.

She smiled as she read though the magazine. Her home was full of Wonderbolts related stuff, even backup copies of the fan letters to them she had written. She liked them that much; Even if it was a poster of something else but Spitfire or Soarin were present, she had to have it.

Pinkie Pie smiled as she came back from another great party. She had a load of balloons left over, as well as unused streamers and some nice party poppers. As she walked into the Cakes' home she smiled, putting the left over food in the counter in case anyone wanted it.

She then went upstairs to her room, which was full of old party stuff: balloons that had long since deflated, old party invites, and used confetti. She always said it would be used one day, but how she wasn't sure.

Applejack smiled as one of her friends dropped off an old cart, she put it round the side of them barn.

There was loads of old farming equipment that was now no good, but Applejack said it was still useful just that no pony wanted to use it.

The old equipment was rusting and had grass growing up around it, most of the wood rotten or compactly gone.

There were also loads of old tools, all broken but still Applejack kept them, just in case in her older days she wanted to repair them.

But this was only the start of something very bad, something that takes people years to do, and can be very hard to get over.

The thing I'm talking about?

Hoarding.

One day while Twilight was looking up stuff on her computer she looked on Pony List, typed in free items and clicked the find.

There she would look through, then she saw something, loads of free books, all of which were going to be either recycled and made into writing paper or were going to be burnt for fuel if no pony claimed them.

Twilight contacted every single pony.

She then hired a cart and a strong pony to pull it and started going to from one of them to the next. She picked the books up, then once the cart was very full went home. Spike wasn't too pleased to see loads of new books, asking Twilight where they were possibly going to put them? The library's shelves, vast though they were, were at capacity!

She just said to put them over there, in front of other books or on top of books, just make sure they're not blocking important books.

Fluttershy in the mean time was looking after loads of animals; her home was now overrun with animals, to the point that the very forests were a bit empty compared to Fluttershy's cottage!

She loved inviting the animals to stay, and she had said they could if they wanted to.

And nine times out of every ten, they did. A safe place, free food and best of all no need to do what they did? It sounded like paradise! They could do whatever they wanted! But this was rough on Fluttershy. She was working 20 hours a day to get each animal happy, and it was taking a toll on her.

She spit food on the floor, and at this point couldn't be asked to clean up the mess the animals left as well as her own.

But she didn't care; animals first, hygiene last.

Rainbow Dash was reading her first-ever Wonderbolts book; as she did, she got a knock on the door: her action figures for the Wonderbolts had come! She opened the box up and put the boxed cards on a shelf.

The sad thing was, there was also her Daring Doo collection: she also collected stuff on her, her home was now full of both Wonderbolts items, and Daring Doo stuff.

Anything related or that had been related to the Wonderbolts or daring do rainbow dash had to have. She had everything from signed pictures to signed cooking items. Even Daring Doo clothes. She was now starting to wonder... maybe she should collect Cloudsdale stuff too?

Pinkie Pie was looking though her party items and saw that she now had quite the load of stuff. Old balloons were on the floor, old party invites were on the walls nicely mounted (and each was dated, too!). Her bedroom now looked like the inside of a shop for parties.

Pinkie Pie then found out that she hadn't put up her "Happy Birthday" banners; she had loads, and while all were pretty much the same each had their own special story.

Gummy looked on, seeing Pinkie bring in more old party stuff; this time it was baby party stuff, and then Hearthswarming party stuff and Heart's and Hooves Day party stuff.

The boxes piled up, and now her bedroom looked small.

Rarity was now ordering in more blank pony dolls, as all her normal ones where full of her dresses from the past, it was easier to display them than get them all winkled and flat in the wardrobes.

Sweetie Belle looked annoyed, as the guest bedroom that was supposed to be for her visits now had 20 of the ponies in there; the whole house was full of dresses and off cuts and every room even the bathroom was starting to fill up. Rarity couldn't help herself, she couldn't let them go.

Then she found Pony List and saw her dresses that she had made and sold in the past on there; she had to go and rescue them. Which meant more space was taken up.

Opal didn't like the crowding either, but the boxes full of old off cuts or left overs made for nice kitty-beds, so sometimes she would ignore the insult.

Applejack smiled as in came more old farming equipment. Big Mac said she had a problem but she didn't, she just said that she was storing this stuff up in case it was ever needed. She had now covered it up as well, as a few ponies had wanted the items for their museums.

But Applejack said no, as they were going to be used again even if they were rusty and slowly decaying away.

The barn was also full of items. Carts mostly old ones and broken ones, but they were also rare ones, or so applejack saw them - they were rare in her eyes, as they had come from one of the family's old friends as gifts.

One night things started to happen to the ponies' bodies: Their cutie marks disappeared and were replaced by just a big very well covered H; the H was visible, but it was under whatever they had hoarded.

All of them screamed and met in town, and it was then that they all saw what had become of themselves.

Applejack had inside her hat a flyer for the latest for sale farm equipment. Pinkie Pie was covered in old confetti and had a party hat on. Rarity was wearing one of very old dresses; it was in bad shape - slightly torn and it had stains on it. Twilight had her saddlebags on and they where sagging from being full of books. Rainbow Dash landed and had her Daring Do outfit on, the one custom made to fit her. Then all 5 five turned noses up as they smelt Fluttershy; her hooves stank of gods-knows-what, and she looked so tired.

"Girls, I think we have a problem," Twilight said, getting out a book and looking at the cutiemarks. "It says here that we've become hoarders, a pony or person that hoards items of all kinds or one type of a certain item. The only way to break this... is to go and get some help."

All looked at themselves and didn't want to admit to being a hoarder, each one just walked away.

But Twilight was right, and the more they left it the worse it would get, and only one pony would see this: The Princess.

One day as Twilight awoke and made her way down to the kitchen, making sure not to knock over the piles of books that had been stacked nicely (but were looked on as a mess) by Spike, she saw the mail on the floor by the door.

She picked it up and read them. Nothing of consequence... but then Spike burped and out came a letter from the Princess.

"Dear Twilight, I'm coming to vist you and your friends as I've heard you're having a hoarding problem. I'll be coming along today."

Twilight clapped her hooves in agitation; the princess was coming. The others had also gotten the letter, mind you, only Fluttershy hadn't seen it, nor had Rainbow Dash, as they were too busy (And Dash did not have anything on order, so she wouldn't have been checking her mailbox).

Later that day the Princess came, and her first stop was Twilight Sparkle's house. She looked worried, as she could see the windows were blocked by books. She knocked on the door, and Spike answered.

It took some force as the books where in the way of the door, but Spike was able to move them. Then the princess looked to see just how bad it had gotten.

Twilight's tree library had become a book store -no, a book *warehouse*, but an un-safe one.

"Princess, hello, pleased to meet you, I hope your trip was okay, c'mon lets go see our friends, I don't see what all the fuss is about, I'm not a hoarder and I'm sure my friends aren't too!"

Twilight Sparkle smiled, but Celestia could see the H cutiemark and it was very covered.

Their first stop was with rarity, as they got to her home the first thing they saw was loads of blank pony mannequins there. Blank, and new.... and outside the shop. As they opened the door, Rarity was busy trying to get all of the mannequins to fit into a good place while at the same time not wanting them block her from her work.

"Ah princess pleased to meet you, I hope you don't mind but I'm a little bit busy, hay, your dresses I made for you, you don't need them cluttering up your wardrobe, I'll take them off your hooves free of change of course," Rarity said as a box full of scraps fell to the floor with Opal inside it.

They left as Rarity shouted at her cat and moved the dresses around again. Twilight smiled nervously, hoping the princess hadn't seen that Rarity had gone a little mad.

They then got to the Cakes' shop, but as they came in, there was no Pinkie Pie. As they went upstairs they heard her in her bedroom saying "No" over and over.

"Where are you? I know you're in here!" She said, looking though boxes.

"Pinkie, what are you after?" Twilight asked as a box full of nightmare night party items fell onto her.

"Gummy, I know I put him in one of these boxes, but I can't remember!" More boxes flew after being looked in.

They left and headed to Applejack's house but along the way they were surprised. Along the road was loads of covered up farming equipment.

When they got to the farm house Big Mac and Applejack were having one hell of an argument.

"I say we build another barn then I can store my items in the old one and all the stuff we use now-"

"Eenope, you got to clear this old junk out"

"No I will not!"

They didn't even stop to try to short things out; they just flew to Rainbow Dash's home, which had changed a load.

The first thing they saw was the Wonderbolts flags and the Daring Do banners (all talking about the new books... which weren't the new books anymore and hadn't been for months). As they entered the house, they had to stop and just stare. There before their eyes was everything related to Daring Do and the Wonderbolts. At least three of every scrap of merchandise ever produced for the two phenomenon's, both licensed and otherwise. A copy of every book known to have been read by a Wonderbolt. One of any item a Wonderbolt had been reported to use with any significance or regularity. And, mercifully kept in cases with blacked-out glass, the adult stuff. Be it unlicensed merchandise or discards they had used, according to the card.

"Oh hay twilight, did you find that book on pie making that Soarin once used?" Rainbow Dash said, looking at her collection of pie-making books. "Or the very first paperback collection of Daring Do?" she added, looking at the hardback versions.

"Um no, we came to see if you okay," Twilight said as the princess looked around, seeing everything that a hoarder would ever want.

"I'm fine, now then if you don't mind, I'm bidding on daring do and Wonderbolts corn cob holders," she left typing in another bid on her keyboard.

The last place was Fluttershy's cottage. As they landed they saw a really dirt and worn-out looking yellow pony. She was feeding the animals she had, and also getting new ones. Then Celestia's own phoenix Philomena flew out from the horde and landed on her keeper's horn.

"So that's where you got too," Celestia said. She then smelt the awful smell of the place over run with animals.

"Twilight, I have seen enough. You and your friends are hoarders. I want you to go to this class and do not miss it. I then want a report." She left with her phoenix keeping it in the cage so it couldn't go back to Fluttershy, dropping a card for her student to read.

The card read "Hoarders Anonymous"; it was in town hall and was free.

The next day, everyone went to it, even Fluttershy, who had of course not washed and smelt horrible. Rainbow Dash was reading the first Daring Do book for the millionth time. Applejack was thinking of where to put a cart that once carried the first ever pumpkin grown in Ponyville.

As they sat down a pony walked in, he was brown and had the hoarder cutie mark just like them.

"Hello every pony, thank you for coming, I want you to first off not be ashamed that you're here. Hoarding is a normal part of life, we all do it, I'm the best -or worst, depending how you look at it- but it's a curse, like with dragons and greed. They grow big and halfway mindless wanting more, however, your hoarding grows instead of your body o the point that it gets out of hand. Now, the princess has told me about what you hoard and I'm here to help you to at least cut down the amount you have.

"Let's start off by saying what we hoard. I'll go first, I hoard comic books or newspaper comic clippings and stuff like that," he said as Rainbow Dash perked up from her book with a gasp.

"Do you have the Wonderbolts comics?! I'm missing a few, I know which ones but I'd be glad to pay anything for them!" She said, looking at him.

"See, this is what we call the obsessive hoarder, only after one certain thing to hoard, they are the ones easy to deal with, it's the multiple hoarders that are hard to deal with, like collectors of items.

"They can hoard for years even after they're long dead; another family member will pick up where they left off."

Applejack then spoke, "Now you listen here, I've got a little sister and she does not hoard! I know that for a fact! She's more after her cutiemark then hoarding!"

Rarity spoke up after Applejack was done. "Yes, same with my Sweetie Belle, she'd never hoard! And even if she did it would be something fabulous," Rarity said, sitting in a dress she had made years ago and had brought back.

"And what's not making them want there cutiemarks in hoarding?" the stallion retorted. "They could simply just hoard the same items as you! But you wouldn't notice from your own hoarding.

"Now then, how do we stop this, you ask?

"Well... Sadly there is no way of stopping it, but there is however ways to stop building on it.

"You just need to first of all pause. If you see something you want look and make sure you really want it - what if you already have that item but it's just been re-coloured or just re-printed?

"The other thing, is it broken? If its broken get rid of it, unless you're willing to pay for it to get mended it's not going to be worth it. It might not be worth it then either because once you've fixed it; it might be a loss when you sell it.

"Now then, I'm going to vist each of you at the end of week and see what items can be gotten rid of, but I want you to take away these three simple steps:

"Is it worth anything? Is it complete or all there? And lastly, do need it or will it be useful in the next 5 years?"

All 6 went away to see what they could do, they knew the pony was coming but who would he vist first?

He first visited Fluttershy as she really needed help. She had hoarded animals but only because they didn't want to leave and it had taken its toll.

As the pony entered he first was taken back by the smell, but it was the living conditions that were really spooky.

Animal hoarders usually forget to clean up the animals or look after them, but that wasn't wholly the case here.

Fluttershy had looked after them but too well in one way and not enough in others. Most of them where fat, or not doing what they normally did.

Fluttershy was given a cup of hot tea and told to make them go home, and that was just what she did. She first made the birds fly back to their homes, and so they tweeted and flew away. Fluttershy cried but she then finally noticed the mess, and started to clean it up.

As she did other animals left too, the hoarder pony saying to the animals to go home and only come back when you're un-well or hurt.

Most of them did but a few stayed; these were the ones covered in poop or who were sick from the overfeeding.

He left and headed to the blue pony's home. The first thing he saw was the banners that were outdated. He then saw the door matt that was in the shape of a Wonderbolts pony. As he got in he saw all the posters and all the Wonderbolts related stuff.

"Okay now rainbowdash, I want you to tell me, why do you have banners that are out of date?" he asked, sitting in a Wonderbolts-style couch.

"Because it's the Wonderbolts! And I needed it; besides, no one minds, I'm there biggest fan" she said as she a signed gold copy of spitfire picture,

"But what about the none related Wonderbolts stuff? Books on pies? The pie tins that are used? And all the Daring Do stuff?" He asked looking at the stuff.

"Soarin's a pie fan; the books are the ones he likes or have had his face on 'em!" She said, showing that each one was a good choosing by Soarin.

"I see. Well Dash, your hoarding is okay, but do you really need the books? You could store them away, you know them all off by heart anyways. And the non-boxed models, they could be wrapped up and put away, or hung from the ceiling. Unless you're going to do dioramas or play with them, it's better to have boxed stuff on display then open."

Rainbowdash sighed. She was thinking about all the stuff she had boxed and opened, most of it she hardly used, like the daring do egg timer. And the boxed stuff was better on display then the open stuff, and easier to clean as well.

"I want you to sort and either sell or put away the open or not-used-a-lot items. You can do it Dash, you just have to put your mind to it."

He left and headed to the pink pony's home. As entered, he wasn't welcomed by a party; instead he went upstairs and found the pink pony looking though boxes.

Pinkie was looking for her "Welcome to my Bedroom!" stuff but it was so messy. Boxes were just full of used or new but the wrong kind of party type stuff.

"Pinkie, you need to sort these boxes out!" he said, opening one up and finding a crossed-eyed alligator.

"Gummy! That's where you got too! ...But if I tidy up I won't know where stuff is!" Her mane flattened.

"But do you know where anything is now?" the pony replied. "This is why we have lists. If you label stuff or keep lists you'll know which box to go to. "Also, do you *really* need to keep old balloons and used confetti?" He said, looking at her. "I guess in a pinch you could re-use the confetti, but even if you got the balloons untied the nylon gets thinner and less able to hold air as time goes by."

"Your right, I need to sort these boxes and throw away anything that's used or isn't good-looking for a party," Pinkie admitted.

He smiled and left heading towards the white pony's house, seeing the ponies outside. Inside, Rarity was looking at her dresses and trying to get them to fit into places that they looked like they would fit but didn't.

"Rarity, you need to not display them like this. Use bags to store them. And as for little bits or scraps, do you really need them? Most of this isn't exactly rare or hard-to-get cloth. Think about it, if you were to try and find a certain bit or part of clothing, you'd spend hours looking for it, then just order in new bolts of fabric to make a new one," he said.

"But dear, these are my art! I can't just let them rot in some wardrobe, I need to display them, so that I can show off how my work has improved over the years!" she said, moving stuff around.

"Yes but how many have you sold since you started like this?" he asked. An armor-piercing question, that.

Rarity's face dropped. She had sold nothing. Not one single dress or suit. Not even stockings.

"What I want you to do, Rarity is to buy some good clothing protectors. Then, if any of these clothes are ripped, damaged or need repairs to put them in boxes. Then. Sort though the boxes, making sure that anything you hate you either throw away, scrap, or sell."

He hugged her, and she started to sort out the boxes, finding stuff to repair the dresses.

He went to Twilight's home, but saw that the lavender unicorn was already doing good. Outside her home was a cart full of books, it had a sign on it saying "Free to good homes".

As he walked in he could see Twilight looking at the books and her dragon friend also helping. They were checking pages, condition and if they where keepers or junkers or even salvable. There were also sketches for building an extension to house any overflow they had left (it *was* a library, after all).

He left Twilight as she was doing good, and went to the most difficult pony to deal with hoarding-wise: Applejack.

As he walked down the path to her farm, he saw loads of old carts all in various stages of disrepair and decay.

He got to the farmhouse, and found that she was looking on Pony List for free carts. He looked and saw all the old equipment outside, face hoofed, and then spoke to Applejack.

"Are you just going to ignore me?! You need to stop; most of the carts out there are only fit for firewood! You must stop, look if you need help I'll help, I know these are important to you but you have to stop, you're clogging up the path!"

Applejack sighed and got up; she then went to the outside next to the barn. There she lifted up sheets and started to sort out the equipment, mostly removing broken tools, but not the machines.

"You know what, no, I like this stuff. I'll just only buy stuff that's good from now on."

She went inside, as the hoarder pony sighed, looking at the carts. He then thought of a way to get her to look at it another way... but that would be for another day. He now wanted to see what would happen in a week.

As a week passed and all of the ponies were back in the town hall, 4 of them had there old cutie marks back, but two still had the H covered in what they hoarded: Applejack and Twilight.

Twilight's book collection had gone down but not enough and too slowly.

Applejack's collection had grown; her farm was now more looking like an old western graveyard from the amount of carts around it.

"Okay, now I see you are almost all back to normal. 4 of you have your cutie marks back, two of you still a way to go.

"Well, I'll vist you and see how you're getting on; you've all done very well. I'm a little disappointed in you applejack, you appear to be growing your hoard rather then reducing it."

"That I am, its ma land and I can do what I like, I don't see any order to remove it! Now you'll excuse me I've got a few sheds to see that have some nice old farming tools in them."

She got up and left, all of them did.

The hoarder pony first visited Fluttershy, who was MUCH better now.

A week ago, her home was covered in animal poop and her animals were really just busking off of her niceness. Now, her home smelt clean and her animal friends only came to her when they were sick, ill, or needed a place to stay while the weather was bad.

He was very proud of her; he gave her a hug and said she was cured of the hoarding bug.

Fluttershy yayed lightly and waved bye to the nice hoarder pony.

His next trip was to Rainbow Dash's, the first thing he saw was the banners had gone. The flags were still up, but the banners for Wonderbolts books had gone. When he went inside a lot of stuff was gone too, mostly the open stuff.

Rainbow Dash showed him she'd put the open stuff away, and hadn't brought anything new, as his caution of it being the same crap just re-coloured had proved true.

He smiled and hugged her; she was too cured of the hoarding bug.

She flew around the room happy then gave him some comics of the Wonderbolts that were just no good; they were re-issues of ones she already had (and with WORSE colour quality to boot). He took them and thanked her.

His next stop was to Pinkie Pie's place. When he came in this time, he was welcomed by the pink pony, she then showed her room.

The boxes had words on them, most of them stated the contents and the other thing was they all had names. Nightmare Night party stuff, Hearts and Hooves party stuff, Hearthswarming party stuff, used-but-still-loads-of-use-left-in-it stuff.

He was amazed at how much the pink pony had done. He hugged her and told her that she cured of the hoarding bug; she smiled and wanted to throw a party, but couldn't think what kind of stuff to use.

As he left he saw a truck outside Rarity's boutique. As he walked to her, he saw all the blank mannequins ponies being loaded up into it to go back home.

She had sorted out dresses, and some of her very early stuff was so Yuk, or not what she wanted. It was put in the charity shop bin, the bits boxes had gone too, and the dresses were put away in bags with labels on them.

Her home was now more easier to move around in too; She was also now keeping track of orders and was even offering that once you where bored with the dress, it could be returned to her for preservation or resale, but it would be lobbed if she hated it.

The hoarder pony hugged her saying she was too over the hoarding bug. Rarity then gave him some old comics that contained guides on sewing; she had found them in a scraps box, covered in dust.

He thanked her and headed towards Twilight's.

Twilight was still sorting out books, but sadly she had gotten more books; most were from the cart.

The hoarder pony then decided help her; he said that any books she wanted to keep but were not much good were to be kept if they were unique, but if she found a better conditioned one to keep that instead of the dogged one.

She smiled and hugged the hoarder pony, vowing she would get over this hoarding bug she just had to work on it. It was, after all, just a wee bit challenging to over come the urge to hoard books when you lived in and ran a library.

He then headed towards the farm, but now he had a plan, a plan that even though it might seem evil it would change Applejack's mind. As he got to the farm she was there looking at her newest hoard, a load of foals' carts, all either rotten or rusted to just nothing. It was a sad sight indeed.

"Glad you're still hoarding, but have you thought of something Applejack? What if it was a dry hot summer? All these old wooden carts and farming equipment...

"What if a fire started, all this nice wood, it would burn. And then given where the carts are it burn the apple trees down, then you'd be out of home and money, I've seen it happen, I know you want to keep these items but sometimes its better to just keep the good old stuff.

"If you need help I'm here, besides I know what you're going though."

Applejack's ears fell and her hat sagged. She cried. She hadn't thought of fire; it could spread to destroy the farm and even kill her family.

She got up and grabbed an axe, then started to destroy the old rotten carts. She put the rotten splintery planks in the woodpile, where it belonged and where flames wouldn't spread beyond if it caught, and piled up all the nails and metal bits into a good cart to haul to the scrap yard, where it would be sent to the foundries for recycling.

She then remembered the ponies who wanted some of the equipment for a museum; she called them and they came eagerly, taking away a lot of items when they went.

Her cutiemark then re-appeared. She hugged him and got rid of all the old equipment, telling her friends that if they had any old farming equipment that wasn't useful anymore to give it to a museum, rather than her.

Twilight had also cleaned her library; she still had loads of books, but they were there purely for the functioning of the place.

Then, they all decide to have a big bonfire party, in celebration of getting rid of the hoarding bug.

Each pony brought something to burn.

Applejack, a few old carts that were rotten and rusted beyond any hope of repair.

Fluttershy, some old worn-out feed bags and wood the animals had chewed on.

Pinkie Pie, a load of old paper party stuff that was sun-bleached or food-stained or otherwise ruined.

Rarity her torn, old, dresses that even a charity shop would reject.

Rainbow Dash, a load of old useless Wonderbolts and Daring Do items that were just re-colours no foal would want or were broken from play (Nothing plastic of course).

And Twilight had loads of old, horrendously damaged books (Some of them might have been either Prench porn, or dissertations on the physics of the cosmos. They were /that/ badly damaged).

They lit the bonfire, and thanked the hoarding pony for helping them.

After the fire had at last burned itself out, each pony went home and went to bed.

A few weeks later while reading though some old books on newspaper clippings Twilight found a shocking story.

She ran to her friends with the article. She put it on the table in Rarity's house and read the story out loud.

"A fire in a pony's home was started by a single candle that was left on.

"The pony inside was a hoarder of paper-related items and eye witnesses say the house just went up in flames in a second. The doctors at the scene only found one body.

"The pony was not named but was known for his cutiemark, it was the only thing that wasn't burnt, it was an H with loads of items covering it.

"The pony had a book huddled in his hooves and when they opened the burnt book they found a note.

"This is to say that if you ever have a pony or ponies that hoard stuff, let them know that I'll come to them and help them."

The newspaper clipping was over 700 years old. Twilight and her friends were shocked.

Had they really been visited by the ghost of the hoarder pony? Or was it just a spell used by Celestia?

All I know is that from that day on 700 years ago, if a pony did hoard, this strange pony would appear from nowhere and help them get over their hoarding.

But only when the princess had seen that they were a hoarder.

Twilight then thought about it, and then sent a letter to the princess; the promised report.

"Dear princess Celestia,

"Today we all learned that hoarding isn't good, it can harm you and your friends.

"We were visited by a strange pony who helped us get over the hoarding bug, we do still hoard but we only do it because it's in our nature to do it.

"Ponies have and always will collect strange items, but it's when there home fills that it becomes a problem. But now we know about the hoarding bug; we shall not do it any more.

"Sincerely, Your faithful student and her friends."

The End
