#6 of General One Shot Stories

Rerim and Tiran decide to go to an island for vacation, little do they know that the island has a habit of changing its visitors...

I hope you all enjoy, I would love to hear what you all think of this! =D

Rerim hurriedly packed his bags, jacket flying into a suitcase, 3DS and some books flying into a backpack, the corgi couldn't help but shake in excitement. Not an hour ago, his boyfriend had walked in with some plane tickets, Tiran had ordered them just so they could go on the trip and relax for a week. Rerim had actually been saving up himself to get the money for the tickets, but now that Tiran had gotten them, he threw his excess money into a pouch for him to use on the trip.

Making sure he hadn't forgotten anything, Rerim grabbed his cellphone and then rushed downstairs, Tiran had told him that he would be picking him up in just a little bit. As he reached the bottom of the stairs, he saw the silhouette of his boyfriend walking up to the door, he pulled the door open just as Tiran was about to knock. The otter jumped back in shock before smiling, "Hey, looks like you beat me to the draw."

Rerim hugged the otter who hugged back before rushing out to the car, soon they were driving out of town and towards the airport. The sights of hills and road signs thinned out as they neared the airport, driving in they pulled into a parking garage. "We'll grab this baby when we come back from the trip." Tiran said as he stuffed his keys into his vest pocket, Tiran and Rerim walked into the airport with their tickets in paw as they walked to the terminal.

As they got through processing, Tiran and Rerim just talked about Pokemon and Doctor who as they sat waiting for the airplane to be prepped. After an hour of waiting, the pilots apologizing perfusely after thirty minutes due to an engine blowout, the couple was finally on their way.

After lifting off, they both booted up their 3DS's and played Pokemon, talking about gym leaders and enemies as the flight passed by quickly. It took almost no time at all, but the pair had to admit, they were confused by how few people were actually on the plane. Besides themselves, the attendant, and the pilots, there were only four other passengers on the large plane.

Landing, they closed their game devices and smiled as they walked off the plane. The airport that they arrived in wasn't too large as not many airports actually siphoned into the island's airport, so they only had three landing docs, and for them it was enough.

Quickly walking through the terminal, they arranged to get a car, Tiran got into an argument with a rather snippy tiger who didn't want to cooperate with the otter. Rerim sat back and read a book as his boyfriend had a row with the tiger, but after thirty minutes of sniping back and forth, they came to a consensus and Tiran was able to get a pair of car keys. "That tiger has anger issues..." Tiran muttered aggressively as Rerim giggled, the otter's tail was flicking angrily.

As they found their car in the rental garage, Tiran slipped into the seat and smiled, the annoyance from the idiotic tiger fading. "So, where shall we go first? We can go to the hotel, or we can go to the ruins. The website for this place says that the Orcian ruins are some of the most impressive ruins in the world, holding treasures that are still yet to be discovered."

It didn't take Rerim that long to be convinced, the pair drove off towards the ruins happy that the island wasn't too heavily populated by idiotic drivers. The ruins weren't that hard to find, they were the centerpiece of the island, many tourists flocking around them but not approaching too closely. But Rerim and Tiran weren't so discouraged, they slipped past some of the guards and walked into the stone structure garden.

"Did you hear the rumors of the orcs that apparently live here?" Tiran asked, face solemn but his voice quavering with humor.

Rerim laughed, "Who hasn't? This place is known for the apparent tribe of orcs that reside here." Tiran nodded and the couple laughed as they walked towards one of the larger structures which towered over the nearby trees, "I'm surprised that this place isn't more well guarded..." Rerim muttered, Tiran nodded.

Walking into the building, the pair noted that the place was surprisingly clean for being supposedly abandoned. "Think someone is living in here while paying off the guards?" Tiran muttered, Rerim shrugged. As they walked through the variety of halls, they saw many odd tapestries with oddly brutish looking animals and weapons hung up. Somewhere along the way, the two separated, Tiran heading into a decent looking library while Rerim walked into a room with a lit hearth and plush chair.

"Who lit this thing?" Rerim questioned, it was extremely odd that the fireplace might be lit. Walking near the fire, the corgi had to admit that the fire felt spectacular. He kneeled by the fire and closed his eyes and relaxed, letting the warmth soak in.

As the fire's gleam passed over the room, Rerim noticed a glint coming from nearby one of the sofa. "What is that?" He asked himself, wandering over to the thing on the floor and realized that it was a dangerous looking axe. He knew he should stay away from the weapon, its serrated edge glinting dangerously in the firelight, but even so the Corgi approached it with an oddly profound expression.

While the corgi found the axe, Tiran was looking at a ornate amulet on a desk in the library. It was glamourous with inlayed rubies in it, the otter was entranced by the beautiful piece of jewelry. Not one to wear jewelry, Tiran shocked himself as he picked up the piece and slowly slid over his head.

As the piece of jewelry settled on his collar, Tiran shuddered, the amulet was freezing even against his fur. "Hav... have to to get this off..." He hissed, but as he reached up for the piece of metal he caught a glimpse of his paw and froze in horror, his normally gray fur had changed a mossy green color. "Wha... what the?" Under his fur, he could see muscles growing.

Rerim picked up the axe, entranced by the glinting of the firelight. Even as he picked it up, he knew something was wrong, his body tensed up. Where his paw touched the axe, the white fur become corrupted, becoming a pale gray that worked well with his now green fur that replaced the brown. His clothes started to rip, seams tugging and pulling as the corgi's body bulged, not only in muscle but a gut forming that hadn't been there before.

From his lower jaw, Rerim winced as two of his teeth formed into large tusks that protruded even when he closed his mouth. His claws grew out, larger and more dangerous than they usually would be when he was a dog. His glasses slipped off of his muzzle, shattering as they clattered against the floor underfoot, the changing corgi dropped to his knees as his mind started to slow down and throw out any cluttering thoughts.

From the shadows of the room, thick brutish creatures poured out to surround the changing corgi. They were members of the orc tribe who had seen the couple approaching, they smiled as they saw the corgi, they could tell his transformation was proceeding nice. They all appeared to be a sort of animal, but like Rerim they had green fur and more brutish aspects to them.

As the last of his clothes fell off, Rerim grunted as his voice deepened and all intelligence that he had leaked away quickly, the memories of his boyfriend stayed, but instead of the normal otter from before, he could only think of his brutish equally dim witted orc boyfriend. From behind, some of the orcs brought out some new armor and fit them around their new orc brother.

Rerim stood, his eyes drooping over his eyes in a feral way, "Mmm... me feel good..." He said, flexing his muscles and looking himself over. Clutched in one hand, his axe was still tightly clenched, now a natural feeling to the orc. The name Rerim still floated in the orc's head, but it seemed so simple and non-powerful, he needed a new one. "Roci, that my name." He said briefly, nodding as he accepted his new name.

Roci turned towards the doorway, the scent of his boyfriend lingering in the air, he knew he needed to find the changing otter.

Tiran moaned, his jacket had ripped, around him were mysterious creatures, and he just wanted them to go away and leave him alone. His teeth grew out into strong looking tusks, his forehead broadened as he felt his body start to become more feral. His stomach drop a bit as it formed into a chubby stomach, he hunched over as his mind slowed. Tiran felt all thoughts save those of his orc brothers leave him, he grinned as he saw his brothers carrying his gear. Around his waist he tied on his loincloth, and pulled on a fur vest moderately mimicking his old vest, the amulet that had changed the otter became a gold choker that carried the runes of the orc race.

"Tor." Roci grunted as he walked into the room, Tor turned towards his boyfriend and grunted in acknowledgement.

The pair had changed completely, the orcs knew that all thoughts that remained of their old life would be lost after a few hours of being in the orc village. "Come brothers, time to go home." Tor and Rocci nodded, the new orcs following their brethren, leaving the rental car and their stuff with no qualms. After all, orcs needed nothing but their brothers.
