Two newly formed friends makes a competition with shooting game after the party yesterday where the loser has to obey the winner.

As the day went on after the class party the day before they both decided to make a competition to see who's best at a shooting game. The day for this event was perfect for it; it was stormy, the wind gnawed the walls of the houses which made the whistling sounds and the rain felt heavily down upon the darkened roofs and windows on the small city, not to mention that the short autumn vacation just started. No wonder, the autumn had clearly made its move. As they prepared to make a pleasant time they teased each other with compliments how the other part would fail or how the one would tear down another. They agreed that the loser had to obey the winner's order which would last 24 hours but they did made some restriction so it doesn't take any unfair turns. After they made some popcorn and readied some soda they went upstairs and already when they walked upon the stairs they raced each other to heat each other up, even Stan went so far he made George stumble and nearly fell with the popcorns.

"You idiot" laughed George who just found balance again but still swung a bit side to side "What if I fell and lost the popcorn?" he gave Stan a little push as a friendly retaliation "it's not even your home, Einstein" They both giggled because of an incident yesterday where the word Einstein was, mildly said, overused. "Let's just start the game" mumbled Stan and laid the popcorn down on the floor in front of the giant sack chair which had different variations of the color blue. George just raised his shoulders, smiled for himself and laid the soda beside the popcorn with safe distance.

Yesterday, as the party progressed, they both came to a point where there was a discussion about different genres of games and game consoles, which is not a usual subject to be picked in parties but since some consoles were published after several months of waiting and there had been such good recommendations about them in the news it was a bit inevitable to be a matter of attention. Most of the classmates have shooting games, even some of the girls, so soon after the discussion began the leading gamers in that genre started to give some arguments and claims that would support their own conviction they were best. Stan and George were among them. Luckily they didn't go so far that they would test each other because it's a party after all. If they were to test each other in the party this day of competition with Stan and George probably wouldn't have found place.

"So when did you actually start playing shooting games, Stan?" exclaimed George, repositioning himself on the one end of the sack chair. "To be honest nearly a year ago" answered Stan while he took a sip of the soda and ate two or three popcorns. "Now you're just lying" said George surprised, doubting if he should believe what his new friend said. There was some few seconds of silence. "No, it's true" now Stan turned his body and looked at George "I never played shooting games before that so I didn't realized that I would like it," he took a pause and viewed George who slowly but slightly opening his mouth "and even be good at it" finished Stan and turned back to the goodies, left his friend gaping. "That's just plain amazing, I mean I've played shooting games for years and... heh... it took some time before I began to play really well so..." George rubbed his back head, went out of words. "So it's basically a natural against a veteran, right?" stated Stan and teased with following while he turned his head in a funny looking way "You scared?" "No, I'm certainly not" said George nervously, still ready to show what he could do. They turned the new game console on and inserted the shooting game, started their duel intensely. There were many draws, started over again many times. The competition was really close but in the end the natural defeated the veteran. "Aw, come on" George sighed but couldn't help smiling, felt a bit embarrassed that he got defeated in his home "It was so close that I hit you first there" "You're really good at it though, George" Stan gave a friendly slap on his friend's shoulder "but now, let's look at the facts" George knew what Stan was going to say but still listened. "I won and you lost, that means you'll obey me" Stan stood up and took a victory stance "You'll call me sir from now till tomorrow" ordered he. "Heh... now you're just out of your mind" "You agreed to this so no avoiding the consequences!" Stan shook his forefinger. George sighed deeply, munching over this situation he put himself in but reluctantly said: "Alright... sir" he added when he saw Stan lift an eyebrow "What'll be your first order?" "Ehm..." Stan didn't think about that part thoroughly so he stood there like a cartoon character who tried to figure out what to do. George found that extremely cute and lost in thoughts for few moments. "Did you hear me?" Apparently George went into some sort of trance which resulted he didn't hear Stan's first order. George confusingly exclaimed: "Wha... what?" "Come on, get a grip on yourself, will ya?" he slapped George slightly on his head "You're going to help me with my home works" "Oh, I'm sorry... I mean yes" he shook his head to get rid of the flying thoughts "sir" he added when he saw Stan lifted his eyebrow again. George didn't know why but he felt happiness and warmth flow through his head and body, held him comfortable.

They went downstairs to get their school bags where they respectively found what they need to solve the issues. They were both clever but in the subjects that Stan had his difficulties George could help immensely and vice versa. George happily took all the small teases Stan made through the doing with the home works, feeling that he existed more than ever, enjoyed the situation. Since they were parallel classmates they had different projects given and the case is that they both received projects where they got their weakness as theme so even though George had to obey orders Stan willingly helped George with his problems, further strengthen their bonds. Several times George had the weird urge to take Stan's hand in his own when they had their hands close to each other, feeling a bit chaotic, resisted doing so but felt regret anyway, sighing which Stan didn't notice. Meanwhile the weather slowly but surely began to cool off in strength.

After they somewhat finished some of their own projects and made the home works they played some games, switching each time when they died. They told each other their life stories, laughed when the subject was about their times as bigger babies and smaller children, teased each other when it comes to interests, supported each other when they told their hard times. There was one subject that was sore for George; he never had any girlfriends. He did have a very close friend, a girl, whom he kissed once but never really interested in getting serious with her. He lied about this subject; instead of telling the truth he told his friend Stan that he had two girlfriends but didn't, of course, want to go in details. Stan in the other hand had some girlfriends, both good and bad ones. Furthermore he had a relationship ongoing right now and that stung a little when George heard that, briefly imagined him and Stan together. He would have blushed blood red but because of their being it was not visible. "I-is it going good?" George didn't really wanted to ask but felt forced to it, said it unsure. "This relationship is... different. That's all I can say about it" Stan looked directly at George's asking eyes and added "for now" George quickly withdraw his stare at Stan and instead looked down upon the floor, sighed nearly soundlessly. "No details, huh?" "Yeah" It got a bit awkward. "Speaking of details, you said that you can play on piano, right?" Stan obviously said this to change the subject completely but he did sound very real though. "Yeah, I can. Why?" George sounded a bit surprise of the sudden change. "What can you play?" Stan positioned himself so he putted himself down on the side and sat his head on the hand, looked a bit seductive and curious. "Ehm... let's say I play a bit of everything because I play pieces that fit my state of mind" "What pieces can you play then?" "Inner Flowing River, For Anna, The March, Dawn's Arriving, The Host..." "Wow... that's many" interrupted Stan, looked all impressed. "And that's not all of them" added George quickly, unknowingly tried to impress. "Teach me "For Anna"" said Stan with a commanding voice, smiled challenging. "Your word is my law" George didn't know why but he said that nearly automatically.

They went downstairs to the little hall where the old fashioned piano stood up against the long wall among other things. The sky began to show some blue spots and the light shone with small and narrow beams upon the little city, made some beautiful small rainbows above the wet roofs even though the wind still blew through the colored streets. The light made some sort of brightened atmosphere in the hall, didn't mean something significant yet. "Do you know the basics of a piano, my Lord?" George took the initiative and sat down upon the piano bench, testing the piano in case it was not tuned. "Yes, I actually do. I played with a band some time ago where I was the drummer and we had a pianist as a leading instrument" Stan gesticulated with his arms to explain better and illustrated that he had rhythm. "Ah, I see" George started to play some notes of the piece "For Anna", confirmed that it was tuned and for some reasons he didn't know it sounded better than ever. "Nice going, pal" he sat down but as their bodies touched each other George made few mistakes underway and stopped promptly which he usually didn't do "Now show me how it's played"

It was an enjoyable time together and the piece wasn't so difficult at first but as it goes there will be some notes that are harder to play than others. Many times their hands would slightly touch, made George nervous. At one point it looked like they held their hand together. Smiles were exchanged and some few push, one time Stan pulled George's hair which he happily received.

"Are you hungry, Stan?" concern as he was the question just purred out as they practiced "For Anna". "A bit, yes" "What would you like to eat?" George searched for Stan's eyes, trying to make a contact. "What do you have?" Stan looked back at George's eyes. They stared at each other for some second, perhaps few seconds too long. George broke the contact, looked directly down at the white keys and fumbled with his fingers. Finally he said: "We have different breads and ehm... spreads and fillings" "Like?" Stan scanned George and smiled. "Ehm... bacon, salad, tomatoes and cucumbers, chicken and..." "Make me a sandwich, you take care of the fillings and I'll practice what I've learned" "Okay, I'll do it fast" he said as he was standing up. "No need to, pal" Stan's eyes followed George as he went to the kitchen. Stan was a fast learner so he played the beginning nearly good as George who made him feel proud, smiling for himself. The sandwich was tasty and the weather was getting better.

After the practice they decided to go upstairs again restarted the games. As they played games Stan sat closer and closer to George and suddenly he laid his head down on George thigh, looked up to a confused face where the mouth was slightly opened and eyes full of feelings. Then Stan slowly moved his hand to to one of George's cheeks, gently caressed it with his thumb. At first George was surprised to no end but quickly realized Stan's doing and closed his eyes of joy. "You love me, right?" asked Stan very softly "Give me a sign" George turned quite indulgent, obeyed Stan's word and nodded and laid his hand over Stan's. Stan then sat properly so they held their hands comfortable and took the initiative; he slowly leaned his head forward and closed his eyes, readied himself for a soft kiss. George was astonished, breathed a bit fast of happiness but as soon he received the soft kiss he closed his eyes and returned the kiss. "Looks like they were two winners from the start" whispered Stan after they finished their kiss. George didn't understand at first but smiled when he realized what Stan meant.

The weather was in the end really beautiful.
