Welp, this is part 6 and the last chapter of my Pre-Summer Fun series. Since I placed the setting a week before graduation and planned to end it on grad day itself, i guess it was inevitable that this series is short.

BTW, this story may not contain anything adult in nature but it's a little mature (i think it's counted as mature). the tags should explain why.

A few days have past since that. The weekdays were used for the practice in preparation for the graduation ceremony and Allen, Tristan and Brandon got along quite well during that but did nothing in particular during that span of time. The day before the ceremony however, the students (or what's left of them) were given a day off to rest and relax, to enjoy their last day in this campus and pursue a life in college or start anew. Brandon and Allen, sitting in their room staring blankly at whatever it is that caught their attention, had nothing planned whatsoever.

"So..." Brandon said to break the long silence. "what do you plan on doing once school is over?" he asked.

The large crocodile stared blankly at the dragon, worried he'd ask such a question again. "I... don't know..." Allen replied, his gaze falling to the floor in shame.

Brandon realized he had crossed the line yet again. In fact, he knew beforehand that Allen had no particular goal as of the moment but he just wanted to be sure that Allen had already made up his mind. Graduation is just the day after and Brandon wants to remind himself that Allen will be just fine. "Look man, it's no big deal." Brandon said as he sat down next to Allen. "You'd make a promising career as a football player, wanna pursue that?" Brandon asked.

Allen shifted uncomfortably on the couch. Although Allen had matured during his years in this high school, he'd never really given tomorrow any serious thought. "Yeah... I guess that's work." he mumbled softly, unable to let out his full voice.

"Dude, c'mon!" Brandon jokingly yelled as he slapped Allen's back, surprising the croc making him flinch a little. "Just relax man, it's me you're talking to. You can tell me anything without having to worry about it." Brandon said to encourage the guy.

"Alright, alright." Allen answered as he shoved Brandon away. "It's just... I'll miss being with you... AND TRISTAN, yes, I'll miss the time the three of us had."

Allen's voice was happy and cheerful once more. Although Brandon knew Allen was agitated by his own choice of words, Brandon didn't push on or question him about it. "So, will you be a professional football player in the future?"

"Yeah, I'll think about that." Allen answered with a smile on his face.

"Good." Brandon said as he stood up. "Now time for you to decide what we'll be doing today."

"What?" Allen asked.

"We've got a whole day to spend before graduation, I assume you'd want to spend it with Tristan and I." Brandon answered.

"Well..." Allen said thinking of all the things he wanted to do with the others. "There's this carnival that opened up in town... I was thinking we'd go there and have fun."

Brandon smiled back with sympathy, amused by Allen's child-like expression and request. "Sure. Now go get dressed, Tristan and I will meet you at the dorm entrance."

Allen looked down and his face shown bright with red. He didn't realize that Brandon was wearing a tank top and shorts the entire time whilst he was wearing nothing but boxers. His habit of stripping half-naked when he's in his room was certainly an embarrassing one. Later, after getting dressed, Allen hurried down the flight of stairs (completely neglecting the lift) towards the entrance where he found Brandon waiting for him.

"Where's Tristan?" Allen asked.

"He had other plans for the day." Brandon answered, massaging his own tail out of boredom. "Guess it's just the two of us at the carnival... and the other hundred people that'll probably be there."

Allen was saddened knowing that his friend wasn't going to be there, but at least he'll get to spend some time alone with Brandon in the carnival. Brandon and Allen made there way towards the carnival and found the place buzzing with life. In fact, it's too crowded.

"Um... why don't we come back here later?" Brandon suggested uncomfortably. He was never good with large crowds of people. "I hear the sunset is beautiful from the top of the ferris wheel anyway."

Judging the position of the sun, it was probably high noon by the time they got to the carnival. The sea of visitors too immense to handle, Allen decided that they spend some time somewhere else. Brandon and Allen walked around town; passing the time, eating at restaurants, strolling through parks and just enjoying the tender moments with each other.

They shared stories with one another during breaks. Brandon would get so excited he'd sometimes forget that he's holding food on his hands like ice cream for example. He's get so worked up that he'd accidentally spill the ice cream on his tank top, which Allen was willing to wipe off using tissue. Allen would also have his clumsy moments, finding himself lost in thought and staring at the scenery. Allen has a soft spot for nature, beautiful nature parks, lakes, oceans, beaches, et cetera, they'd all catch Allen's attention. Brandon would end up sneaking behind Allen and tickling the big guy into submission.

The two of them had fun all afternoon; laughing, playing, and acting as immature as they can get. Soon enough, Brandon noticed the sun going down and saw that the crowd has dissipated. "Hey Allen, let's go to that carnival now." Brandon suggested.

Brandon and Allen had thought they'd enjoy the carnival... they were wrong. The carnival had a large variety of fun games and rides, but Brandon and Allen no longer had the energy to try them out. The two of them walked around, looking for whatever stuff they might do there for fun but found no such answer.

"Brandon, didn't you say the sunset looks beautiful up on the ferris wheel?" Allen asked.

"Oh right, I did say that." Brandon mumbled. "Wanna give it a go?"

"Of course." Allen replied as the two of them headed to go purchase a ticket.

The ferris wheel wasn't as impressive as the others in the big city but it was good enough for the two of them. Allen's large body made it hard to fit through the car's doors but he somehow managed. Each car in the ferris wheel was built to hold five passangers, just enough space for Brandon and Allen. Each car was also air conditioned, making the cold hard for Allen to bear but they two of them managed by sitting close to each other while Brandon wrapped his wing around Allen and heating his body. As they ascended the ferris wheel, they got a beautiful view of the area from up high.

"Wow..." Allen gasped in amazement as he stared outside, admiring the view. "is this how it looks like when you're flying?"

"Yep." Brandon answered. "Avalon looks really beautiful from up above. The amazing smell of the fresh air, the little noise by the land dwellers and the freedom of flight..."

"I heard." Allen said, interrupting Brandon's moment of pride. "Look, there's the sunset over there."

"Meh, the sunset wasn't as beautiful as I had hoped." Brandon mumbled, staring at the ball of hot gas with disappointment.

"Can't deny the view though." Allen said.

"Yeah..." Brandon said drowsily, slowly resting his head on Allen's shoulder.

Allen stared at Brandon, the warm, soft light of the sun showing Brandon's happy face. All of Allen's thoughts began clouding, nothing else was on his mind but Brandon and how much he meant to Allen. Allen made up his mind, it was now or never.

"Brandon, can I ask you something?" Allen nervously asked, thinking of what he'll say next.

"Of course." Brandon answered as he yawned.

Gosh he looks so adorable. Allen thought to himself. And how is it possible that his tongue is THAT long? "Well... I've been thinking..."

"Dude, what have I told you about being nervous around me?" Brandon asked. "It's okay, whatever it is that's troubling you, just let it out."

Allen had to muster every ounce of his courage just to exhale, but he went for it. "Brandon... do you... I love you Brandon."

Allen's words snapped Brandon back into reality, completely removing his drowsiness. Allen's face was flushed red with embarrassment, he didn't know how Brandon would react to that and judging by Brandon's surprised expression he didn't see it coming. "Allen..." Brandon mumbled.

"I love you, Brandon." Allen repeated. "I know how I feel about you now, but... do you feel the same way?" he asked.

Allen's question was greeted only with silence, just as he feared. Brandon just stared at Allen in disbelief, Allen assumed that he had crossed the line and prepared for the worst. "Look, I didn't realize... I'm so--"

Before Allen could finish his apology, Brandon leaned forward and gave Allen a kiss to silence the big guy. "Allen, I love you too." Brandon said as he pulled away. "I'm just... overwhelmed with joy when I realized that you felt the same way."

At that moment, Allen realized that they were descending, the ride was almost over. "Thank you, Brandon." Allen said. "This is a really big load off my chest." Allen's face was that of pure joy, the red light of the sunset hiding Allen's embarrassment.

"If you don't mind..." Brandon said looking at Allen quite mischievously. "I'd like to make this moment last longer."

At first Allen didn't understand what Brandon meant but he didn't protest. He moved closer and wrapped his arms around Brandon, who, in turn, wrapped his arms and wings around Allen. At that moment, Allen heard an explosion from bellow and a dozen people yelling. Brandon had used his psionic energy to cause the engine to fail and the ride to stop, leaving the two of them inside the ferris wheel and wait for it to be fixed.

"Um... Brandon, you did that didn't you?" Allen asked.

"Mhmm." Brandon mumbled as he slowly nodded his head. "We'll be up here for a while, might as well cuddle while we wait."

Allen didn't like having to break public property, but that didn't matter now. He was holding Brandon within his arms, and the two of them wanted it. They spent that moment with each other until the ride was fixed, and then they returned to the dorm.

After graduation, Brandon and Allen surely had more plans for the summer than what they previously had planned.
