Multiple train carts flashed before amber eyes, wind blowing the male's onyx locks into a swaying position. The train for Shinzuku City has arrived.

"We have arrived at Bokunawa Station. Next destination, Shinzuku City."

Coughing, Raiki entered the train cart and quickly held onto the pole right next to the seat. Transitioning himself in a stable position, he made sure that this train was not going to imbalance him during it's swift movement. A train this fast is a remarkable advance in Japanese technology. Truly, Raiki lived in a very problem free era of this country. Although, not even the economic advance if Japan could solve the mettle of human emotion; it was a cross everyone had to bear. Staring blankly ahead, Raiki simply made idle movement, scratching his head, his eyes and cleaning his teeth for anything that stuck onto it. He particularly cared for his teeth and his hair the most, being feline and all.

These were his most sensitive parts, and he doesn't let anyone touch them because of fascination or curiosity. Raiki always resorted to voilence or verbal abuse whenever anyone would get near his comfort. No one has ever took a crack at this hard nutshell, simply because they fear him. Raiki was always alone in class, Guren being his only lone friend.

He could remember those scars he gave her, the bites, the scratches. It was too painful to think that someone you hurt would most likely be the most important person in your life. But, despite all that he had inflicted onto her, she.. She still kept a smiling face. A bright ray of light shone upon Raiki that day, and he would never forget the time he had met the Kirlia. Their bond and trust was fortified, and none had broken that forged relationship.

Raiki has lived a very dreadful life, but the people who made his existence worthwhile had always been there for him. He felt happy around them.A beam of everlasting happiness surrounded him greatly whenever they would see him, that rare smile. Oh, that rare grin. It would always show nice and brightly, reflecting on the young child from years ago. Is now the charred individual of this moment.

Pain...

Sorrow...

Dread...

Hate.

It was as if the little things that he had were the only sole refuge he had taken. And per say.. that was all okay. Just as long they were with him.. by his side. Forever. He'll be happy. Like everyone should be. It was not just his dream anymore, it was sweet reality.

Just then, his thoughts were interrupted as the train stopped abruptly pushing the force towards a nearby wall. Face first, Raiki's planted crown enveloped into a nonchalant sigh. Rubbing the side of his forehead, he continued to the outside, surrounded by laughing students from other schools.

"Tch, assholes." a snarky comment by the peeved feline. Upon checking his PDA, he could see the time was slowly running out.

"LATE LATE LATE LATE LATE"

Flashing words appeared upon the screen of the PDa, and it had the male alarmed. Taking ahold of his bag so it may not hold him down, he quickly darted across the sea of people; his digits straight in front of him so that he may create a path for him to pass. Civilians did not allow him though, but the stubborn feline used brute force to cut through them.

--

Pant, pant, pant.

"Tch, annoying pricks."

After a few minutes of trudging through the waves of people rushing towards their own destination, Raiki finally dounf refuge in a nearby alley. A sigh of aggravation escaped through coarse lips, as he rushed towards the train station, travelling to the remote island whihc housed his school. With a deep breath, Raiki caught his second wind and quickly used his electric abilities to sprint faster than usual, a trail of cyan aura left him as he darted...

"Hey! You brat, get back here and help me pick these documents up!"

Amber eyes looked back at the stack of papers he just threw off balance from a random bystander, although he was at fault, he didn't see any reason good enough to stop and help him. Either way, in a sense, he still wouldn't help him even equipped with a valid reason. A small roadblock, but he continued forth towards the train station.

Schlick!

The automatic doors of the station opened up for the running student that had invaded the entrance, his head jocked left and right as he searched for the turnstiles. As he found it, his bag kept in check, he darted towards it. Only to be stopped by a security bot, asking for identification.

"Identification needed. Please present your PDA. If you are a guest, fall in line at the nearest counter to purchase entrance into Tokugawa High."

"Fuck!--" Opening his bag vehemently, he searched for his bag, angrily glaring at the contents. He saw nothing. Could he have dropped his PDA during his rather quick lunge towards this location? Knowing that he had lost his PDA, his skin turned pale, the fur on the back of his neck rising from the rather white skin he now had. Hanging his head in utter lapse of aggravation, leather shoes turned and ran across the station lobby to purchase a ticket.

On the way there, he had bumped across a new face, and shoved him completely off the line. He was the only obstacle in his way; because all the students had been seated in their classrooms, ready for the task they were about to be given. While Raiki was here, cramming his way into the establishment.

"Hey, who do you think you--" the male with the rather odd colored hair spoke, glaring at this stranger who had physically threw hi off.

"--One ticket to Tokugawa High, at once!" Raiki exclaimed, slamming his gloved hand onto the counter's table as the Clefable-specie counter woman hurriedly stripped a ticket off, sliding it quickly towards the sweating, nervous Luxray.

Turning around and rushing towards the turnstiles, he felt something grab his foot--

THUD!

Face first, Raiki had fallen disgracefully on the floor, his face scrunched up in an angry and painful expression. Canines showed brightly, sharp and dangerous outside of Raiki's lips; amber eyes heatedly gaping across the same palette Pokemon on the floor as well. He did not let go, his grip had tightened on Raiki's foot.

"Let go kid, or I'm really going to fucking hurt you!" Raiki growled ferociously, as sparks of electricity erupted from his foot, basically shocking the palm of the other. Yelping in pain, he received multitudes of voltage into his body, therefore letting go of the feline. A rather violent resort, but Raiki was in desperation. Everything in his combat training has gave him leverage over these things.

But, before advancing towards the school, he glared down at the student and growled loudly. "Next time, get the hell out of my way."

And with that, with flick of his wrist, the feline angrily trudged away towards the station.

"Tsk, rude." the student said, picking himself up and dusting himself off as he continued to transact his matters.

Meanwhile...

8:00 AM... RIIIIIIIING!

Bursting inwards the door, Raiki entered his class, panting, exhausted and looking tired as someone who hasn't slept in weeks. All eyes inside the room stared at him as they were awkwardly looking at him in a nonchalant fashion.

"Ah, Mr. Kizu. You beat the bell by a mere second. Well, I think I can give a consideration, since you're already knee deep in trouble; however, in addition, I shall not pass up the opportune moment of expelling you if you do so again. Please come to class earlier. Now, sit." the esteemed professor barked out as he sat onto the teacher's table, waiting for everyone to get ready for class, giving Raiki a jarring peer of silence.

Raiki headed towards the seat near the Kirlia who slightly waved at him. Bright and white teeth showed slightly as it curved into a feint grin, peering at his friend who excitedly waited for him. Pulling seat away, his nether regions took the receiving end of the steel chair as he pulled in, locking himself into the edge of the table.

"You're late again, Raiki." Guren said, shaking her head nonchalantly.

"Nothing's ever changed. You overestimate my abilities." A reply, even more dispassionate than his usual answers.

"By the way, our new mystery student hasn't arrived. But of course, he has the permission to be late. I heard he encoutered some kind of accident with this guy at the station."

"Really, now? Tch.. although I couldn't care less. Too much work." Raising his legs up the table, he entered into a relaxed stance, giving a smug expression towards his rather unnerved companion. A disrespctful move, and everyone was awkwardly glaring at the male who abruptly and insensitively executed the gesture.

"Kizu, I'll have you detained for a week if you continue with your disrespectful antics." Professor Nobunaga barked out, slamming his fist down the steel table in front of him. Raiki replied with an annoyed expression, his amber hues shooting a direction to the left, lips pouting into a displeased motion.

Sighing, the professor continued, facing the black chalkboard in front of him. Although it was no ordinary chalkboard; incidentally, it was high-tech, finger motion detector and allowed people to write of surfaces using nothing but their fingers. A groaty index finger quickly jumbled up some words on the word that spelled: "New Student Protocol"

"Alright, ladies and gentlemen, we all know what this means." Eyes jumping out of worn out glasses as he scanned the room for any objections. "Good, it seems that we all know this protocol even if we've been lacking in new students due to tuition rise. Anyway, let's get back to our agenda. Here's some background of the new classmate you'll be tasked to take care of as of today and of the days to come." Professor Nobunaga took out a piece of paper form his back pocket, opening and then continuing to read it for a clarification.

"He's an exchange student from the United States of America, choosing to transfer here because of our more advanced methods of teaching. He feels he can achieve more in Tokugawa High. He's a talented and smart student, much like our esteemed Valedictorian, Ms. Kagayaku." The old professor smiled as he mentioned the name of his very intellectually proficient student. He had high hopes for Guren and planned to make her the Minister of Shinzuku City, like her father always wanted.

"Anyway, please welcome Jason Alexander."

The door opened and one leather shoe appeared after the other, and a rather enticing visage of a grown and mature Lucario entered the room. He had a bag and was suited for school, but the dotting detail about him was the bandages on his hand. What had happened to him?

"Hm, Mr. Alexander, why do you have such an injury?" asked the startled Professor.

"Well, on the way here, some guy did some damage to my hand. He was an Electric-Dark Type. I can feel his energy surrounding my arm when he sent volts in this hand." Jason replied, with a rather angry mood, an expression that could kill.. literally.

"Ah.. well. You may talk to me about it later. Now.. um. Just take a seat by Mr. Kizu right there."

Raiki's amber hues widened as he could not believe what he just saw. 'He was the guy from the train station!'

Slamming his hand obnoxiously onto the table, as he stood up. The male pointed a lone index at the new student as his brows furrowed into a cross glare. "You're the asshole that tried to stop me!" he shouted, catching the attention of the class entirely.

Brown hues darted at the exclaiming student, glaring equally and perfectly balancing out the angry shout he had with his own. "You're the guy who almost injured my entire arm!"

Feline and canine, cat and dog. They both growled at each other, their eyes locking in intense anger. Sharp canines revealed on both parties, and it looks like they were ready for an intense fight. Will they be able to get along together for this start of the school year? How will Raiki deal with another enemy when he's had some many cases of beating people up? Will they coexist, or will Raiki have to say goodbye to Tokugawa High forever?
