That's right! Isshu is under Ice! What does this mean?

Not even a full day had come an gone before Kyn met up with Serena at the top of Dragonspiral Tower. He had much to report.

Serena turned her head as she felt Kyn approach. Yes, it was cold here, she had conserved her energy, but was spending her time in the fire she had created at the top of the tower, some of her scales had turned black from the ash of the wood, but the fire was alive, and that was all that mattered.

"So much to report Serena. Of all things... Cheren is a Gym-Leader now...! I'll give you a memory tape of him, actually." Kyn compiled together a basic summary of his experiences with Cheren during his earlier days, including the misadventures with Team Plasma, popped out the cassette, and handed her the tape.

She tilted her head at the memories, pleased that he still remembered how to do that properly. She stepped out of the fire and wrapping around the party, wings wrapping around from another side to keep them warm. "Interesting...So...Next?"

"Next... and most importantly... Team Plasma is back. Which means... that more than likely... N will be back." Kyn said. "Serena, we do have battery powered heaters. You could use those in addition to the fire if you wanted."

"Speaking of batteries, I promised to show Heji how to store an electrical charge in my world's version of a charge stone, you wouldn't happen to have those on hand, would you?" She remembered N from the times they had spoken of him before, and felt like one of those so called 'shrinks' not that she knew what they actually did. "...How does it make you feel? That he's probably back, I mean?"

"Excited I guess. Even though, as you once said, he practically forced his friendship upon me, it was welcomed. I don't have very many human friends, and even fewer that can actually understand Pokémon. I think that N also went traveling to meet more Pokémon like I did. So, imagine how he'd react if he saw you."

"He'd freak out." She challenged. "To find out that there was a world without humans at all, but remnants, he'd believe that it is your future, and that even after humans are gone, Pokémon would persevere...wouldn't that just fuel his 'humans need to relinquish their Pokémon' views? Granted, I have met a human now that I would very much like to kill because of his stupidity with his Pokémon now."

"That wasn't N's view. That was Ghetsis' view. That was pre-programmed into N. I could tell, every time we met that I was conflicting his pre-programmed views. I believe that in his past two years, he's gone on an journey. To find himself, so to speak. I think it would actually please him to know about a future like that. Speaking of that one guy.... I don't usually say this but, I think we need to keep an eye on him. Clair will too but, if he's got six Pokémon and seven badges, he's registered some of them.

Her lighthearted voice dropped and her earfins splayed. "I suppose we'll see...as for that little twerp...if I catch him trying to throw his Pokémon in the lava again, I'm going to throw HIM into the lava...or at least dangle him over the edge and let his Pokémon watch him squirm." She shook her head... "Erp...there's that possessive and protective streak again..."

"I wouldn't blame you Serena. Though, that's another thing that... I find interesting. Why the in blue blazes would anyone put actual lava in their Gym? I mean what would it be like if Clair accidentally knocked a Challenger's Pokémon that wasn't a Fire or Dragon-type into the Lava? Also besides being a deterrent for Ice-Pokémon it just... seems a bit overboard. Though you did seem to enjoy yourself in it, and any dirt or grime from whatever would be... I guess, burned off."

Serena tilted her head. "Well most Pokémon can survive some third degree burns...so long as they're recalled within a couple seconds I don't really see the problem? Though I'm sure that Clair would have had one of us around to retrieve anyone before they actually die...Yes, it's very cleaning...any dead scales are burned away, and a healthy plug of lava protects the skin until the scale comes back."

"So. Tenshi should be landing shortly. He'll be roosting up here for a while, and actually, will probably be able to keep you a bit warm, if you actually do want to be warmer." Kyn suggested. After about fifteen minutes Tenshi did land a Dragonspiral Tower, and then headed for the group.

To her credit, she didn't just run up to him and launch herself at the legendary's chest, she did wait until he was close though, before curling up beside him like a cat next to a fireplace in the dead of winter, and shivered as her body temperature came back up to normal. "Cold blooded...yes, fluff is very much appreciated when there's no lava to swim in."

"I can do more than that if you wish. I might be able to locally heat up the area for a bit. There is much I have to tell you about this tower." He commented. Serena taking in his warmth was understandable, and so he even went as far as to wrap his wings around her slightly.

She purred deeply, a rare sound, and to have it so loud that it could be heard by all present was an extremely rare occurrence. "I'm currently in listening mode, fire away...er...you know what I mean."

"This tower... is the tower where we were both first sealed away. The humans built this tower for us to roost upon I believe. The Castle in the desert... is relatively young compared to this building. Even now, it has stood the test of time. Perhaps I can share with you all, what it looked like when it was sparkling new." Tenshi said brightly.

"You should be able to." She rolled to look up at him, one claw in the air. "Since if my guess is right, you're skilled in psychic abilities, more so than I am, at the very least."

"Psychokinesis is relatively simple, Serena. Though I am not sure a Dragon such as yourself would be able to utilize it. An example would help... and then I'll give it a try."

Kyn continued to watch the exchange in silence. Seeing Serena curl up like that wasn't something he expected to see, though he figured it was understandable if she wanted to retain warmth.

She did narrow her eyes at him. "I admit...I never bothered to learn_too_ much of the mental arts, at least, not to move things with my mind, however I was still a rogue, and a decent mind diver, I could take over someone's mind in almost an instant, and even now, I'm a broadcast point. Even if Lacu were not here, those that do not have links with one another could commune through me; so if you need HELP; or if you've gotten rusty, yes, I can assist you."

"I didn't do it at all... even with Kyn. Nor with the first one." Tenshi admitted.

"Mmmph....alright...try to relax, and focus on that memory then...I'll...go in and broadcast it...don't think I wont thump you if you clench though." She waited for him to prepare, and then reached for his mind, being careful only to scratch the surface...still with him not being used to the feeling of anyone in his head, she was ready to pull back on a moment's notice, and treaded lightly where she did have to walk. Not unlike with Kyn's mind, she still used her Bagon avatar here as well, she didn't need to be percieved as a threat; something that was small and 'harmless'...that was better.

'Mm? What... what is that?' Tenshi hadn't ever seen a Bagon before in his life, and so of course, seeing a mental avatar of one, would be the first time at all.

Serena chuckled mildly. "Mental representation...I tend to stay in my Bagon form for...exploring new minds...I can age it up, if you like, to be a copy of what you see before your physical eyes." she offered. "If it puts you more at ease."

'I have never seen a Bagon before in my life. In fact, before you, I have never seen a Salamence in my life. This journey has introduced me to many new Pokémon.' He answered back, not really clarifying whether or not he would be more comfortable with the adult form.

"Well, now you have, figuratively speaking anyway..." Her avatar walked to the memory, touched it, and after a moment, the memory would flash across everyone's mind, play to the end, and fade to black, then the avatar disappeared as well. "Thank you for sharing." She chuckled.

"I am young, but at the same time I am ancient, am I not?" He said with a grin. Though Serena probably couldn't see it due to currently being curled up underneath him.

"...If you stopped aging when you went into hibernation, then no, you're not ancient, you would be akin to the Pokémon that are brought back from fossils. Their DNA comes from the fossil which is old, yet their blood, and bodies are new."

"I'm not certain whether or not I did, and I doubt that there is really a test that can determine it, but I think that if more than a millennium has passed, then I was in hibernation."

"Tenshi... you were in hibernation. You are a marvel... no modern science or anything would wake you. It was... and I am still greatly honored by this, your choosing me that woke you." Kyn said, bowing, hoping that Serena couldn't see it.

Serena couldn't really see, thankfully, but she did shift to stick her nose out of his feathers somewhere around his wing. "Tensa still hiding in his ball? I don't recall seeing him when you arrived..."

Kyn chuckled. "Maybe he actually fell asleep in there. I did tell you that there certain types of Poké Balls are more comfortable than others, didn't I?"

"So long as I didn't scare him off." She nudged Tenshi's wing, and then slithered out from under him, warm to the point that her goggles fogged, she just shifted them up out of her eyes. "You did, yes."

"Your once upon a time Luxury Ball supposedly is the most comfortable next to the green one. I forget its name." He held up Tensa's Premier Ball to his lips and said, "Hey Tensa... you awake in there...?"

Serena looked a little sheepish, she still remembered that event, she still had the shards of it too (Thank goodness she hadn't swallowed any of them) but she hadn't had the gall to try to piece it back together.

Tensa did in fact emerge from the Ball, and upon noticing all the ice around him he immediately migrated towards Tenshi. "Kyn, you should know better. Sceptile are.... just as hesitant to go to places like this as Dragons are."

"I never thought I'd see the day that a grass type Pokémon moved_towards_ a fire type." She chuckled at him.

"Serena, I am so resistant to fire now, that it's practically... not allowed. Like in league sense, heh. Though I'm still not able to dip into lava, for obvious reasons but... yes, I AM gravitating towards a Fire-source." Tensa said, going deeper into Tenshi's feathers.

"I'm rather surprised that we all haven't just made the White One our heat source, Arceus knows he's fluffy, warm...and huggable enough to do so."

"Alright. Perhaps it is time for me to thaw a bit of this area. With the exception of Serena, if you do not wish to become a charred piece of... something. I recommend you go down to the bottom of the tower and stay away from the entrance." Tenshi announced.

Even Serena moved, her hunter's eye was still good enough to know that if she was close to him when he did, whatever it was that he was going to do, she would still get her scales blackened; and so, she turned to face opposite of him on the other edge while the others were moving for themselves. /Haa, telling me you're not huggable?/ She chuckled mentally at the white dragon.

Tenshi gave a quick grin down at Serena, and then flew high up into the air. Tenshi used his turbine right away, causing a rush of heat and air to fill the immediate area. Afterward, Tenshi gathered energy for a Draco Meteor of exceptional size, and then released it high into the air. He then started charging a Blue Flare, one of his most powerful attacks, and then fired it into the Draco Meteor. The two attacks collided midair and fused into a... sort of Blue Fireball. The tiny bits of blue hot flame rained down upon the earth, and where ever they made contact with ice, it pretty much instantly melted. Luckily the insides of things were pretty moist, so there were not any fires at all. Tenshi then landed back at the tower, and gave the go ahead for everyone to come back up, after the shower ended.

Serena batted the rocks away with her claws or her wings, whichever happened to be closer at the point in time, and swept them off away from the exit up onto the roof with her tail so that they wouldn't have to worry about stepping on anything as they came back up. "My my...well, that would be an interesting combination to walk up against..."

"The area will stay warm for about a week. Then it will cool down again, but the ice will not reform. I haven't done a full powered Flare or Draco Meteor in a long time. It almost seems like I'm capable of altering the weather in some cases." Tenshi said, folding his wingtips back inwards, which in most cases would look like, hands on hips.

"Bet that felt good...me either on the meteor part...though once again I believe our worlds differ in the styles that they are conjured..." She barely noticed when she stepped on something she was supposed to be sweeping away. "Or it might be a species difference, who knows. I've been accounting it to the fact that I haven't exactly mastered it yet, but I could be wrong."

Kyn and the rest emerged sometime later, and Kyn appeared pleased with the results. "Hmm, seems like Tenshi... might be able to thaw out this entire region with a bit of time. Either that or temporarily changing the world's weather systems, if that's possible. Team Plasma would be pissed at all their efforts going to waste. Which is a good thing."

"Well, so long as it's a good thing." She chuckled. "Well, many Meteors make light work, as the case is..." She licked her paw pads. "A few dragons and we could have this all situated...and have them running home with their tails' between their legs. Pity that the ice would keep them away until then...but this still smells like Kyurem's madness storm."

"Yes... I'd imagine so. On the scale of... Sorbet. This Kyurem, is probably not in its right mind, more so than Sorbet had to have been to go on that rampage. But considering how your world is, for Sorbet to in essence lose his mind temporarily for it... I can't imagine what _this_Kyurem is going through." Kyn thought out loud.

Serena shook what ash remained on her scales, off, and nudged Kyn with the tail tip, swinging her long neck to look towards Tenshi. "You told me before that you could feel your other selves...which means you're connected to him...Do you mind if...I try to get a better feel for this madness?"

"If it interests you. This is probably the closest I've ever felt. Perhaps the connecting is incredibly strong now. Do you plan on attempting something? I am curious as to what you would do with this 'getting a better feel'." Tenshi responded. New thoughts began to swirl around in his head. What it would be like to be completely reunited with his other selves.

"If it is a madness caused by mental distress; something with being awoken improperly...I may be able to calm him...If it's not...then I can at least work to find what's causing it...Which may make me hate most humans even more, if my guess is right."

"Oh... mmmm well.... remember how I said I have a hunch...? Well, the one responsible last time... was never truly arrested. Of course this is me just not being typical human again, but I wouldn't be opposed if after finding him, you... uh..." He didn't exactly want to say 'burnt him to a crisp and then stomped on those ashes, then scattered those to the wind'.

She gave a rumble deep in her throat. "Disposed of him? With bells on my toes, of course."

"Sorta... kinda... I mean, the man was literally insane. By all standards. Though I don't think he compares to Cyrus' scale though... Ghetsis only wanted to rule the world. Cyrus wanted to create a new universe... specifically built to his specifications."

"We'll cross that bridge when we get to it...this insane man raised your friend, he might take offense to something like that. Now...let me work, and maybe get out the charge stones so that I can keep my promise...I'd also like to visit the charge stone cave before we leave, if you don't mind." She sat down and coiled her tail around her feet, looking up at the dragon that was twice her size, and then closed her eyes, reaching for the dragon's mind, and then sling-shotting down the length that she thought to be to Kyurem's mind, from the way that it was cold.

Kyn laid out the map of Isshu on the ground. He laid against Tenshi and then waited for Serena to return from her little mental excursion.

She nearly recoiled the moment she touched the Ice dragon's mind, hatred and anger...was he hardwired like this? A look at the emotions bin told her no, they were simply overflowing. Sympathy, she emitted, as a way to guard herself, and to soothe as she tried to find the source. She shuddered as she pulled back, and actually walked away from them with her eyes closed, then spread her jaws wide as she shot a large bit of fire into the fire, and it was only when she wasn't still contaminated with emotions that weren't her own that she walked back over to the others.

"Haa...even in madness his security can catch a Pokémon in his mind..."

"So, I take it that you've learned a bit then? Is Ghetsis... forcing him... and I do believe you specifically referred to this Kyurem as male, to do his bidding?" Kyn wondered, figuring that that would be exactly the type of thing that Ghetsis would do.

Serena hissed. "Forced is the word...He hates every moment of it, despises humans now, first the two brothers that split him into Reshiram and Zekrom, Yes, I did just use their names, and now this...He's not...been deemed worthy...and I've been put on his shit list too, for invading his mind. Haha, I'll get turned into a Serena-icicle." She was a little hysterical, it was not unwarranted. She shook her head as if to clear an idea from it. "We need to get him out of there, or he'll be as crazy as his keeper."

"He'll probably not be too pleased if we do go to him. I believe it is time for me to go interrogate some Team Plasma members. They will reveal to me the location of the location in which Kyurem is being kept."

She laid out on her side, eyes looking at Kyn. "I will not keep you here then...I...don't think I've ever come that close to having my mind taken over by another Pokémon, and I'm going to need a bit...to get back to myself before I move."

"I honestly believe... that even though Kyurem is... part of them, we will still need the combined efforts of both Tenshi, Zekrom, and the others, which is why I believe N will return. Zekrom will have told him too." Kyn said, and then started heading down the tower.

Serena closed her eyes and snorted, that had not been fun...She used the time given to her to begin piecing herself together, and out-casting what she knew for sure was not a part of her true self. When she was done (Taking about 15 minutes to do so) she rolled back over onto her stomach and thought about what he had said. He was so sure that they would return to this place...Well, there was no use in being a buzz kill...She stretched and groomed, as if anything needed to be done since she had been inside the other dragon's mind. There was some comfort in knowing, however, that only thus far, a legendary could do it.

Kyn went on a mini-adventure, and wound up meeting a few new Gym-Leaders. Castelia City was the city in which he discovered the information about where the Kyurem was currently being held. He noticed that the Team Plasma grunts had new Pokémon in their arsenal that actually reminded him of some semblance of competence. He headed back to Serena after about six hours and then began to recount his tale.

Serena had taken the opportunity to take a nap, fly around, and take another nap by the time that Kyn returned, and she tilted her head as she listened. "Well, at least they're not being beaten by an eleven year old, that might crush their egos beyond hope."

"...Oh Serena... I didn't tell you about the history of my journey much. The Kanto region is rather infamous for... it's spawning of a gang of gangsters, who actually at one point owned a Casino. A boy came along, with Murkrow black hair, and an alias of Red. He kinda... did exactly that. He disappeared three years after, and then reappeared. After that, two years later... he died. Or so the story goes. Perhaps he's still training. Perhaps he's training his Pokémon so much that when he reappears, they'll be on par with Legendary status."

"Perhaps." She clicked her claws against the surface of the tower roof. "You know, in our world, we call this tower Monochrome tower, they look remarkably similar...is why I mention that...but we've got some villains to stop...you did say you got the location?"

"Oh my... two different version of this tower. Perhaps your world has evidence of this tower being there. If that is the case Serena, then all it takes is a Celebi... for me to found out how much time truly separates us. This would be like a quest for knowledge. Finding Dragon Spiral Tower's remnants." Kyn went into pacing mode again, clearly showing the signs of how intensely he was thinking.

"...Kyn, I did say that the two towers might have been the exact same..." She watched him pace for a while he thought. "Remnants? but it's still standing, perfectly fine, enduring time even...Wait, don't tell me...you think my world is your future? Kyn, that's ridiculous...If my world was your future, then there would be more than shattered Poké Balls that appeared there occasionally."

"Serena, this can't possibly be the same tower! It just can't be... that would mean that the region would become Tao isn't that far away. A-and... the land's topography and makeup is different. I realize that continents shift and everything, and environments change but... I..." Kyn paused, regaining his composure. "Like I said, a Celebi will help me clear up this mystery. I hate having mysteries like this. That's why I was so adamant back then to find out about humans."

She rolled her eyes at him. "I never said it was the same tower, in fact I said the exact opposite, but like the shrine in the forest outside of sapling village, and the one in Ilex forest, the worlds can MIMIC one another." She snorted. "I'm just glad we got some of it sorted..."

"Mmph. As you could probably tell... I was having a rare meltdown where I freaked out. Now. Down to business. Would you like to come with me to the ship? It will be in the air unless they're docking for other purposes, so you'll be less exposed to ice. I figure you could be a good intimidator. Or other purposes." Kyn folded the map back up and put it away.

She got to her feet as an answer. "Ice wouldn't be able to bother me if my body held a current on it's own, It wouldn't be so bad regardless if I wasn't cold blooded...Me, intimidate? That's not in my nature at all." She chuckled. "Well, only when others are cocky, but that can be considered Moxie too."

"Alright. Then let's go. First stop is Castelia City. Hm.. takes me back. Tenshi flew to all eight of the cities with Gyms, and locations where Ghetsis made his speeches. It took us a while to undo what he had done. Of course, the Pokémon were more than happy to reunite with their Trainers. Some of them... had plenty of things they wanted to say, and I did translate for them, in most cases." Kyn almost got lost in a memory, but then he packed up the rest of the items. Tensa put himself back in his Ball, and then Tenshi saw that as his cue to let Kym climb on.

Serena felt a little awkward, listening to him go on about his past, but still...she let him, until he was ready to depart. She was glad that her goggles hadn't chosen this time to fog, and prepared to follow, if nothing else, to prove that she could keep up, if nothing else. Well, she probably couldn't do anything that the legendary couldn't, at least not without it affecting him as well...she flicked her tailtip while she waited.

"The direction is Southeast. The most common landmark is the Red bridge that is known as the Tubeline Bridge. Then the Desert area, will lead you to it as well. Those are my suggestions. Of course, you can use other landmarks but, southeast is still the direction." Kyn said, making a mental double-check in his head.

"I remember the map." She chuckled at him; standing up to nose the human on the fuzzy dragon, then took her typical, running leap from the building, diving down until the vapors appeared at her wingtips, and let the dive crest upwards and she rose to where humans would normally be unable to breathe--it was difficult for her as well, but thankfully her deep chest allowed for more oxygen to be collected, and it was easier to fly up here--She hadn't bothered to use this area in the previous race, being too cocky. She was easily affected by the cold up here, of course, as most would be, but her speed....Well, that made the difference, and kept her wings warm enough. She did have to breath fire and swallow it back to keep the rest of her warm however, and when she did need to take a new breath, she dove down to where she could do so, and then promptly went back up. All and all, she didn't expect to beat Tenshi there, but it _did_only take her a few hours this way, even breaking the sound barrier, and more than once at that---which her ears perceived as SNAPS behind her as her tail whipped through them, and she forced herself to even out where she could be seen, and equally see below.

Once again, Tenshi took off, and activated his turbine right away. As he flew, the ice in the direction the flew melted, and the evidence of him being there would be clear, as well as it would directly lead a path back when seen from above. After they arrived in the outskirts of the city, Kyn called out to Serena.

Serena banked and circled back to them, she wasn't fool enough to land in this city alone, it was still unfrozen, and she could spot people down below; Her oxygen level was still equalizing, and her breath came out in snorts as she circled around the white dragon, almost in a dance. "How was your trip?" She twirled, baring her underbelly to the sunlight occasionally. HAD she actually beaten him? She doubted it.
