Chapter 3: Seeds Of Differences Part 2

The dream felt weird, I was in a black abyse with little air and really nothing to care about. I noticed that there was a pacth of almost dead grass, as I floated towards it I felt the gravity around me get heavier. Once I landed safely on the grass and I heard my dad's voice.

"Son, you have been around evil too long." He sounded like it was a normal conversation.

"What? No I haven't." I don't get it I mean this is what I'm supost to do, but what kind of evil is anywhere near us?

"You have to leave."

"What wh-why? There's no way I'm leaving again, not without a valide reason."

"It's Jake he wants to have power and have the one thing you love dearly."

As those words left his muzzle the abyse became a dark forest.

"No, Jake's my friend."

"Yes he was but not anymore."

"Why, well I know why but-but there has to be another reason."

"I can't say, I have not the permition."

"Screw permition, I'm your son! Plus you can see into the hearts of wolves."

"I can only see into those of a pure bread wolf."

"What are you saying Jake's not full wolf?"

"Yes, he's a mix of a wolf and a mutt. Zak if you don't leave, something bad will happen to Megan."

"What? What's gonna happen to her?" I can't imagen something happening to someone as perfect as Meg.

That's when I heard Meg's voice.

"ZAK HELP!!!" I heard her yelp in pain so I ran to where the sound was coming from.

"MEGAN!!! WHERE ARE YOU?!?"

When I got to where she was I saw a wolf on the ground. It-it was Meg, and there was another wolf over her just-just eating at her flesh. It was disgusting I felt like I was gonna throw up. I saw all the blood fall off Meg's flesh as it went into the wolf's muzzle. The wolf looked up at me and I saw it-it was Jake.

"M-Meg??"I was shocked I had some weird dreams in my life but this-this was just fucked up. "NOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!"

"MEG!!!" Next thing I know I was awake. All that blood it just burned into my brain and it was all I could think about.

"Yea what?" Meg asked with a exhuasted expretion.

"Oh uh nothing, I-I just got a shock, sorry you can go back to sleep." All that blood was still flashing in my brain.

As I got up I noticed that Jake wasn't in the den like everyone else and I did see him lay down before I passed out. I couldn't help but get up and go looking for him, the shock I got from the dream just didn't make me feel save if I didn't know where he was. So I got up and and went to get his scent.

All I did was take one sniff and I knew exactly where he was he didn't even try to go very far. Soon I was behind him in the woods. I wated to know why he couldn't sleep and I'm positive that he wouldn't tell me up front.

As I hid in the bushs I heard him talking to himself.

"*TSH* full moon, oh please that does bullshit. I don't even get it, he's not even normal yet he wants to walk at night." I don't get it, I mean all I meant was that everyone would get further during the full moon. Wolves are suppose to be awake during the full moon. "It's all that demonic power he's got, he thinks he's the Alpha just cause he's a monster."

"I'm not a monster," I came out of hiding cause I had to defend myself, I mean I hate it when others talk about me like I'm the Devil from the pits of Hell. "I'm just cures."

"Curesed? You're nothing but a walking, flying killing-"

"FOR FUCK SAKES SHUT UP, all I want is to be accepted by everyone for who I am, both me and The Starlight."

"Starlight is that what you call it? It's makes it wound like sothing that's good."

"You have no idea what he's capible of. I remebered all the stories all the memories of The Starlight everything I heard and saw was true about him, he really is a bloodthirsty demon."

"Is he the reason why we can't travel at night?"

"What? No it's just that I think-"

"SHUT UP, I'm sick of listening to you, everything you say sounds like you've spent years just to get the words right and I'm sick of it! You don't have the mind to lead yourself least of all a pack, all you do is talk you'll never be a good Alpha if you don't stand up and do instead of think. I could do a better job at being Alpha than you ever could. Cause unlike you I am actually a normal wolf."

"No your not, your a half-breed." when I finished my sentace he jumped and pinned me down.

"How do you know that?" He cleary didn't like the fact he was a mix.

''I-I, Sirius told me."

"How can it tell you, it's a star!!!"

"He's my dad!" Sonofabitch

"It's a star you father's dead, stop thinking you live in a fantasy."

"You're the one who's living a fantasy. You want me to feel alone cause you lost your dad and Megan picked me over you."

"You're right I do want you to feel alone, Just like you made me feel all those years ago." he said looking dow n with a creepy smile

"Wait what? I only met you a few days ago?"

"You really are an idiot, if you can't remember me."

"I've never met you before."

"Of course you haven't cause you never even paid attention to me when it happened."

"What are you talking-"

"YOU FUCKING KILLED MY FATHER YOU SON OF A BITCH!!!"

"Wait what?!? I-I don't remeber that."

"Of course not cause you're a monster with those blue eyes and that blue blood!"

Then it all came and hit me it was when I pup still, "I-I killed you're father, I remember it was when I was 10 w-when I first used the Starlight, I was hunting with my dad for the first time, he told me to think of how it would feel to loose him, lose the only person I felt at home with."

"Exactaully you killed my father, you took everything away from me, all I could see was his blood, all I could hear was his screams, and all I could feel was the anger building up inside."

"Jake I can't control myself when I'm in The Starlight, it-it just isn't possible."

"Bullshit it's impossible."

"You don't think I've tried to control it. It's like rage, you don't know it's happened until it's over, besides who would want that kind of power at their dispossal."

"Normal wolves."

"Wrong self-rigious wolves, wolves that seek power, all I want is to live without blood on my paws."

"For someone who has more than most it's kinda weird to hear."

"I-I don't mean any of it I never want to kill it's just a part of my life, the part I could live without."

"You won't live without death, just like I can't live until..."

"Untill what?"

"UNTILL I KILL YOU" He dashed towards me with a tackle causing me to fall on my side. "After I'm done with you I'm gonna kill that bitch you call a girlfriend."

"N-no I-I WON'T LET YOU TOUCH HER!!!" I could feel the rage boiling inside of me I felt every bone in my body tense up and all I could think of was keeping him from hurting Megan. All the anger cause me to somehow activate the starlight and for some reason I didn't black out or loose control.

"You-you're using that demon just to fight me god you're weak."

"If you think the power I have is weak then I would like to see what you think AFTER I SEND YOU TO THE PITS OF HELL!!!" I was trying to keep calm but that dream was playing over and over in my head so it was hard to keep sain.

I dashed with all the power my legs could manage and I flew straight towards Jake. I managed to grab his right leg.

"NOW DIE!!!" I ripped a huge piece of his flesh off his leg.

"AHHHG GOD DAMNIT." Jake yelped in pain.

As he tried to move I swung my paw to try and hit him over his head but he dogded and my claws cut two scars across his muzzle and and one just beneth his eyes. Jake fell to the ground and was loosing a lot of blood.

"Please, please Zak don't kill me." He plead for his pointless life.

"Why should I, you tried to kill me and you were planning to kill Megan. give me one good reason why I shouldn't kill you." I looked into his scared eyes with my cold mersiless eyes.

"Zak please, I-I don't want to die."

'If I ever see you again I swear to sirius I will kill you, even if it's just at a lake or even in a pack's teritorry." I couldn't just kill a pathetic mutt like him I mean he was defenceless againest my demon.

"Thank you Zak." He walked away with a limp.

I finally calmed down and as I turned around I saw Megan standing there with shocked eyes.

"Meg what are you doing here?"

"I-I thought to left to think so I followed you."

"So how much did you see?"

"All of it."

"Oh can I just ask you one question?"

"Yea sure."

"What happened a minute ago." I had to lie to Meg if she knew I did all that intentionally she might never forgive me.

"You-you don't remember?"

"No."

"Well you almost killed Jake."

"Oh well good ridense."

"How can you say that?"

"Meg did you hear what he was gonna do to you."

"He was bluffing, wasn't he?"

"Meg I-I had a dream and I saw him eating you."

"Oh my god..."

"Yea, but Meg it's okay you're safe he won't come back."

"O-okay."

"Come on let's go back to others and try to get some sleep."

"Yea."

Then we walked back and I could tell she was scared of what happened, scared of me.
