#2 of Facing The Real World

Tis a reupload, there is nothing new. I've decided to scrap this, it's terrible.

AN: I never got to describe Darius so much so here's a brief description.

Darius:

Height: 5'8'

Personality: helpful and Cheery

Likes: cars, COD, T.V Adventure time, Regular show, Computers

Dislikes: nosy people, impatient people and Excessive homework.

Hair colour: Baby blue with white streaks

Tongue colour: purple

Lip Colour: Dark blue

Paw pads: Purple

Sub-species: Seasonal Dragon

Abilities: In the winter Darius's scales fall off and under them there will be fur. At first the fur will be short but it will adjust to the weather. In Summer Darius sheds all of his fur and grows his scales again.

Darius is a likeable person. At first he may be a bit shy, but he will be open and welcoming once you get to know him. He will become annoying sometimes and offensive at others but overall he is a very nice person. He is very good with computers and cars and is very knowledgeable. He is slim but is slowly building muscle. He has bone white spikes from the base of his neck to the tip of his tail.

Chapter 2: Maturing

During the night Darius had any dreams, Some involved being immensely liked while others involved being called a liar and being shunned. One dream stood out to Darius, it was the only dream he could remember vividly. He was in a snowy climate. Even though he had scales he was comfortable. The snow didn't even faze him. He decided to walk around and he found nothing. After what seemed like hours he found this mountain. He wasn't sure as to why it was there or where it came from. Once he saw the mountain he had no control over his body and he broke out into a sprint. He sprinted towards the peak but he felt no fatigue what so ever. He hadn't cared since it seemed as if his mind was focused on reaching the peak. Once he did though he collapsed from exhaustion and sat there panting heavily for several moments. He felt a feeling of accomplishment as he got back up, Although there was only snow and his footprints in this barren figment of imagination it looked so beautiful.

He was having so much fun! He always wanted to breathe fire and here he was! Jose was jumping around burning patterns and, well... anything into this endless field of grass. He had fun as the flames changed colour in as more power was put into them. At one point Jose put all of the energy he could summon into his fire and sent out a quick jet of midnight black flames. Jose stopped panting for breath as he used a lot of energy, even if it was a dream. He decided to find more of this unlimited grassland to burn.

Alderain

He felt it. That aura, Is it time? He is only 12 years old and yet it has happened? It never happened that early ever! This is going to be complicated as he won't be able to control them. But if they are active now that means he is ready to face his equal. That can only mean one thing, Who's his equal and do they already know each other? Lots of questions fought their way to the front of Alde rain's mind. He came to a decision. It was time.

I sat directly upright, I realized that there was frost on the windows and mirror. "I must be dreaming" I muttered. As I put my head back on my pillow I realized that it was cold, Very cold. "or not... Guess this is real." As if waiting for me to confirm that this was real I felt a sharp, cold pain in my stomach, throat and back. It felt like my spine was growing extensions. I heard scratching and shifting as some of my scales moved and shifted. That wasn't all, though. I clutched at my stomach and doubled over in pain as I felt a cold burning start in my stomach and make its way up through my throat. I leaned over the edge of my bed in case I threw up. It felt like I did but it had no after effects. After that the pain tripled and I screamed in pain before blacking out.

I winced at that scream of pain. That's how it is for people in the direct elder bloodline. They go through a horrible painful night, even more painful than a normal dragon growing their wings because they gain a power. It's usually elemental but sometimes in rare cases can change. I had gotten physic abilities. That's why I could sense my son's aura, and why I could tell Darius was in extreme pain. I winced as his pain intensified yet even more and could tell that Darius had blacked out. Alderain closed his eyes, "it's time to teach my son the basics" He thought before sending his conciseness towards his son's.

Darius felt a presence, it felt similar. As if right on cue his dad appeared in front of him in this endless abyss. Darius had so many questions to ask like "what is happening" and "why is this happening". As if sensing his son's curiosity Alderain spoke slowly "I know that you're confused, All of these questions will be answered in time. Now you must practice your abilities."

Well then ending on a cliff-hanger is funny. I must go now and it isn't revised so forgive me. This is all I have.
