Club Shuriken - Part 2

Kiba still couldn't believe it, Naruto had asked Hinata on a date in front of him, a blatant act of defiance as far as Kiba was concerned. He had broken the blond and all he needed was one last push and Kiba would have had him. No one had ever done this to him before, he felt more hurt than he thought he would, upset yes; but hurt? He wouldn't let Naruto get away with this, he wouldn't let Hinata have him either. Team-mates or not, if he couldn't have Naruto then no one would! Kiba spent the rest of the day plotting how to ruin their date, but didn't come up with anything particularly effective since he had no idea what they were going to do. He wished he had Shikamaru's brains, he would have come up with a fool proof plan that had any number of counter measures and fall backs, but he wasn't Shikamaru. The best thing he could do was follow them and wait for an opportunity to strike.

He followed Naruto to the Hyuga compound, watching from the shadows as Naruto knocked on the front gate. He silently prayed that Hinata's father had forbidden Hinata to go on this date and that the guards would refuse Naruto entry. His silent prayer went unanswered, he cursed as he watched Naruto enter the compound and a short time later leave with Hinata, arm in arm.

"That bitch! Holding onto his arm like that!" Kiba growled, Akamaru next to him whining is sympathy for his masters distress. "Don't worry boy, she's not getting away with this!" Kiba and

Akamaru followed them all the way to Ichiraku's, he had to be extra careful since Hinata would easily spot him if she sensed someone following her thanks to her Byakugan. If she had sensed him she made no obvious signs of it that Kiba could see. Picking a spot on a roof top across the street Kiba attempted to spy on them, the flaps hanging across the front of the shop making it next to impossible to see anything useful. He see them moving, but couldn't see what they were doing and didn't dare get any closer in case Hinata sensed him, so couldn't hear anything either. After a while they left and Kiba continued to follow them from the roof tops. He watched as Hinata grabbed hold of Naruto's hand.

"That little whore!" Kiba growled. "Throwing herself at him like a slut! If I don't stop this date soon they'll probably end the night by fucking each other! I won't let that happen! Naruto's gay! I'm going to make sure he remembers that!" Akamaru at his side nuzzled his masters arm and gave a sympathetic whine.

"Thanks Akamaru but this isn't over yet. I'll make him mine. All I have to do is wait for my moment." Akamaru barked causing Kiba to look at him with a scowl. "I know she's my team mate!But this is another matter entirely! Naruto is using her to prove a point but he is mine, and I will prove that to him! He is gay! And that it doesn't matter how many women he dates, that will never change!"

Kiba stopped his ranting as he watched them turn and head straight for Club Shuriken. Kiba knew the place well. He had found many new sexual conquests there since it opened and thanks to some 'intimate' knowledge shared to him by one of the staff members, he knew all the best hiding spots. Not wanting to risk being seen by using the front door Kiba sneaked in from the roof using a large unused vent on the roof to gain access to the top floor. From there it was easy for him to move about as there was little to no security up here, the only thing up here was a private room for parties and as luck would have it, there was no parties taking place in it tonight. He found the door that lead into the rafters, there were numerous wooden walk ways up here suspended high above the dance floor, used to do maintenance to the lights that hung there.

Kiba scoured the area for any sign of Naruto but there was so many people and the dim light made it next to impossible. The sheer number of people making it impossible to pick up Naruto's scent in the enclosed room. Akamaru barked and Kiba turned to look in the direction his canine partner was looking, there they were, standing at the railings of the upper level.

"Good boy Akamaru!" Kiba praised the wolf-hound. "SHIT!" Kiba cursed as he watched Naruto meet Lee, Ten-ten and Neji soon followed by Sakura who had come from the bar with a pitcher. After a few minutes it was evident that Naruto and Hinata were joining them, making it even more difficult for Kiba to execute his... come up with a plan to ruin the date.

Kiba quickly got frustrated as he sat in the rafters watching Naruto's date with Hinata go off without a hitch. They were all laughing and having a good time, even Hinata seemed to be coming out of her shell a bit. This was bad news for Kiba. He watched as they all got up to dance, noticing that Naruto was heading off alone... sensing that this was his long awaited opportunity, Kiba followed Naruto.

Naruto stepped through the large double doors into the brightly lit corridor, the air in the corridor considerably cooler on this side of the doors. Naruto sighed as he felt the cool air wash over his body, it was bliss. The main room was hot and stuffy from the sheer number of people in there. He needed to pee but he had no idea where the bathroom was, he'd find it eventually, after all how big could this place be? He began walking looking for anything that might be a bathroom, he wondered how his date was actually going, he was having a good time but did that mean the date was going well? He felt like he was hanging out with a friend more than being out on a date, not that he had ever been on a date to know what it was meant to be like. He walked round a corner and was pulled from his thoughts, surprised to see someone laying on the ground unconscious.

"Hey! Are you all right!?" He asked worried, setting his sword down as he knelt down to check them. "Wha... Sasuke!?" Sasuke was roused from his drunken slumber and blinked as he tried to focus. "Sasuke, are you all right!?"

"N-Naruto?"

"Yeah it's me, who did this to you?"

"What do you mean?" He asked confused, his words badly slurred. Naruto could smell it now, the unmistakable smell of alcohol, he had smelt it countless times off Jiraiya over the last couple of years.

"Sasuke... you... you're drunk!"

"Naruto..." Sasuke reached up and grasped at Naruto's neck, using it to pull himself up-right.

"You know that if Tsunade finds out she's going to bust your ass? She'll probably give you grass cutting duty, with scissors!"

"I don't care..." Sasuke sobbed.

"Sasuke?" Naruto was taken aback by his friends reaction.

"I love you Naruto!"

"Wha...?" Naruto was confused for a moment before he thought back to his time with Jiraiya. The elder shinobi would often get emotional, declaring nonsensical nonsense, like that when he got drunk. "Yeah... I love you too Sasuke." Naruto smiled playing along.

"You do?"

"Course I do." Sasuke's face lit up, the resulting smile was so un-Sasuke like, it made him feel warm inside and couldn't help but to smile back. Naruto began to help Sasuke to his feet, but Sasuke surprised Naruto by lunging at him, Naruto staggered backwards into the door behind him, with Sasuke wrapping his arms round him. "Sasuke?"

"N-Naruto..." Sasuke gazed into Naruto's eyes, the intense blue almost hypnotising, Sasuke couldn't help himself he leaned forward and kissed him on the lips. Naruto was shocked, his body frozen in sensory overload as his brain tried to process what had just happened. After a few moments he pulled away, breaking the kiss.

"Sasuke!? What the hell are you doing!?" Sasuke looked very confused.

"Kissing you?"

"Yeah... but why?"

"Because I love you!" Sasuke slurred. "You said you loved me!"

"Yeah... but..." Sasuke didn't wait for the rest of Naruto's response, he attempted to kiss him again, Naruto struggled to hold him back.

During the struggle Sasuke's arms slipped and caught the door handle, their weight causing the door to swing open, the pair stumbled into the room and the door swung shut behind them. Before they could catch their balance they slammed into a large wooden object, it audibly cracked as Naruto's back struck it, Sasuke still clinging tightly to him. Seizing the moment Sasuke lunged forward and began to kiss Naruto again, the feel of his soft lips against his own was heaven. Naruto attempted to struggle but Sasuke had his arms pinned. Naruto couldn't believe this was happening again, first Kiba and now Sasuke, why him of all people? Naruto could feel Sasuke's need, his desperation through his kiss. The kiss was forceful, needy, relentless but at the time it was different from how Kiba had kissed him. Kiba's kiss had been just as relentless, just as forceful but it had been driven by lust. Sasuke's kiss was passionate, the diffence confused Naruto. Eventually Naruto managed to free one of his arms, pushing Sasuke away and broke the kiss, he couldn't push Sasuke more than a few inches away but it was enough to stop the kiss. Even in the darkness of the room, the only light filtering in from the street lights outside through a small window high up on the wall, Naruto could clearly make out the hurt expression on Sasuke's face.

"Sasuke! STOP!" Sasuke backed away. Now free, Naruto sighed a breath of relief.

"I'm sorry..." Sasuke sobbed, staggering away to lean against another large crate. Naruto could feel the hurt in Sasuke's voice and felt guilty.

'What do I have to feel guilty about!' He thought to himself but the feeling wouldn't go away. He looked at Sasuke who was now visibly shaking, his hands covering his face. 'Oh-my-god! Sasuke's actually crying!'

"Sasuke?" He didn't respond. "Sasuke are you okay?" Sasuke didn't speak but shook his head, his hands still clasped over his face. Unsure what to do, but not wanting to abandon his friend Naruto walked over to him and placed his hand on his shoulder. Sasuke sniffled and pulled his hands away from his face enough to look at Naruto. His face glistened with tears, Naruto felt a tab of pain in his chest at the sight. "Sasuke... did you really mean what you said?" Sasuke's nodded dejectedly his eyes moving to floor as he did, almost as if he was ashamed of the fact. "When...?" Naruto asked, stopping, unsure how to finish his question.

"Years..." Sasuke sniffled. "I've loved you for years." The confession took Naruto by surprise. "I'm sorry..."

Naruto didn't know what to think, here was his best friend declaring his love for him, what could he think? He had been struggling to accept the fact that he might be gay for the past few days, afraid of what it meant, afraid of what others might think. But here was his best friend, one of the people he truly cared about, telling him that he loved him. He had never had anyone tell him that. No-one had ever told him that they loved him. It made his heart beat fast, a feeling deep inside telling him that this felt right.

He had always felt something with Sasuke, at first he thought it was jealousy. That feeling lead to the rivalry they shared all the way through the Academy, and continued after they had graduated to genin. Eventually they had come to respect each other, the rivalry slowly faded but that feeling had never gone, maybe it hadn't been jealously. Maybe the feeling Naruto had always felt towards Sasuke was... was in fact love?

"Sasuke..."

"I'm sorry I forced myself on you... I was just... I was desperate... I didn't want to lose you."

"Lose me?"

"To Kiba." A wave of ice washed over him, the realisation that Sasuke must have seen them together... "I'm sorry, I should have..."

Naruto once again was dumbstruck, he had been seen with Kiba and by Sasuke no less. But Sasuke hadn't thought of him as disgusting, hadn't stopped being his friend, no, Sasuke had been forced into his own private hell of torment and worry. Naruto had been so focused on his own problems he had completely forgotten about everyone else. When Sasuke had kissed him, he had been afraid, it was the same as when Kiba had forced himself on him; but Sasuke had backed off. The kiss had been different as well. Iruka had spoken about love and affection, maybe this was what had been speaking about. There was only one way to find out.

"Sasuke..." Naruto gently put his hand under Sasuke's chin and raised his head so he could look him in the eye. Sasuke's eyes had never been so expressive before, the black pools glimmering with tears, a glint of hopefulness shining deep within them at Naruto's touch. Having no more words, Naruto did the only thing he could think of, he leant forward and pressed his lips to Sasuke's.
