I froze in place. How did this man know that I wasn't a dog? The man must of noticed my sudden tension.

"relax pup! I'm a werewolf too!" he whispered in my ear. My face clearly displayed shock. *how could you be a werewolf! your not a wolf like me!* I asked him. I heard him sigh. "you do realize that you can change your form right?" he whispered back before standing "I'm Tristan" he said, offering my sister his hand. Joey seemed annoyed about this. Samantha quickly shook his hand, Muttering her name. Tristan looked around before saying "listen this may shock you, but your dogs are actually--" "Werewolves?" Joey said quietly. "Yes but how did you know" Tristan wondered "the brown ones my younger brother, but how did you know that their Werewolves?" said Samantha in a suspicious tone putting a lot of emphasis on "you". "because I too am a Werewolf" Tristan explained. The next thing I knew, Me, Kiki, Eric, Samantha, Joey, and Tristan were gathered around the coffee table in the living room of my house. "So how are Werewolves made?" Joey asked. "well first you have to find a therian and bite him." Tristan answered. "A therian?" Samantha repeated sounding confused "A therian is a human with an animals soul, almost always a wolf's soul." said Tristan. I already knew this though. *but what does that have to do with Werewolfism* asked Eric. "well...you see... a therian's soul, being different from the body it's in, is always trying to force the body to change. and when a therian is bitten by a werewolf, The soul gains the upper hand." *your not making any sense, like how does being bitten do anything?* Eric complained. Tristan sighed. "The werewolf saliva can transmit the lycanthropy to humans. Normally changing a human takes a lot of energy and time, It rarely succeeds, but when a therian is bitten their souls amplify the potency of the saliva, thus making it easier." *So basically the wolf soul makes the saliva more powerful?* I asked "yeah you could say that...pup!" Tristan replied *...um...Tristan* Kiki asked "yes?" *h-how do you become human after you've transformed?* "well that depends on when you were bitten. The younger you were the harder it is...when were you bitten? Tristan asked *when I was six* Kiki replied "Well it won't be impossible, but it will be incredibly hard...What about you pup?" *I'm not a pup!* I told him "Okay! then when were you bitten!" *about a month and a half ago.* I said "I was right" Tristan said smirking *About what* "About you being a pup!" I began to growl loudly, causing Samantha to jump slightly. "Alex Taylor! you stop that this instance!" my sister said in an annoyed tone. As I stopped growling I noticed that Tristan's smirk had disappeared and was replaced by a puzzled expression. *Is something wrong?* I asked him "Um...its nothing!" *Okay... so how do you become human again?* I asked "well you have to find the human in you and concentrate on it, but its harder than it sounds." *cool! can you teach us other stuff too!?* Eric asked "sure" Tristan replied. The backyard of my sisters house sloped downwards towards a small forested area, this forested area was were Tristan led me Kiki and Eric. Once we were engulfed by the trees Tristan stopped, before stripping himself of his clothing. A few moments later a black wolf stood in his place. *woah! That was the fastest transformation I've ever seen!* Kiki remarked sounding excited. *It was fast because I've practiced alot.* Tristan's voice echoed through our minds. *now try to find the human within yourself.* I tried, and I tried, and I tried, but no matter how hard I tried I couldn't find it. My concentration was averted towards Eric, who was slowly changing, soon he was a human, despite the fact that he still had a tail. Tristan grabbed a bag in his jaws and tossed it. Eric opened it to find some of my old clothes which he hastily donned. "I-I did it...but why do I still have a tail?" Eric asked. *Oh yeah you keep the tail* Tristan stated. I returned my concentration to trying but could not grasp it! before I knew it, It was dusk *I shall meet you guys back here tomorrow* said Tristan before returning to human form and getting dressed. During that day Eric had changed forms multiple times but me and Kiki had made no progress what-so-ever! I went to bed that night thinking of being human and had a weird dream. In it a human Eric and Kiki mocked me, because I had failed in finding the human part of me. I woke up the next morning knowing something was...different...
