A note from the author: Thanks to all who have taken the time to write comments and send emails.

"Conclusion: Chapter 3," soon to follow, will conclude the "Furry Dominance, Scaly Submission" stories, until I can think of something else for the surviving characters to do. "Chapter 2" introduces several elements which may come as a surprise to readers of my other meanderings, such as a (theoretically existing) storyline, some attempts at character development, and--can it possibly be?--quiet, tender moments of mild romance.

It also contains all the elements you've come to expect by now: slime and vore, D&S, begging and denial, macro and micro, stupid rock pythons, and yes, eagerly awaited by possibly no one else besides my sad self, a scene of--can it be?--scaly dominance and furry submission with wild watersports. No apologies and no compromises

Part One: Two Deaths

88888

At the bottom of a deep rock canyon, opening at the base of the unscalable wall in front of which stood Kirh and Ulw, was a black cave-mouth that was by far larger than any cave the two Vulpelins had seen in that land, a great, dark hole whose tunnel cut straight into the cliff-side at the foot of the canyon wall. It had the appearance of some sort of an animal's burrow.

With the dragon Volgrau still in close pursuit, Kirh and Ulw had no choice but to enter the tunnel as the ferocious, fire-breathing beast came running up behind them, charging at them full-flamed with his huge jaws gaping for them. Kirh's right hind-paw splashed in a puddle of slime on the ground as she ran inside the tunnel with Ulw, and as she looked back, it turned out the awful substance covered the floor everywhere around her and her companion, and it soon began causing them to slip and fall onto four paws as they struggled to run away. In addition to the discomfort caused by the falls and the damp, the air inside the slimy tunnel contained an odor quite different from that of dragon-musk, a powerful, swampy stench similar to that of wet, decaying, fungous logs and the dank, slimy, crawling things that live beneath them.

Volgrau immediately couched down on his belly and started slithering forward through the slimy substance, having no trouble at all negotiating the tunnel's floor. The two Vulpelins fared less well, but they did succeed at last in leaving the tunnel's confines, which grew narrower the further they went, so that the dragon had some difficulty squeezing through the passage near the end.

Kirh and Ulw left the tunnel, which terminated in an underground chamber of uncommon size with distant, lofty ceilings and towering, melted-looking walls of mudstone. One thing set it apart from the other cave landscapes they had seen: a gap divided this chamber essentially in half, creating two broad stone shelves on either side of a long chasm, whose lower limits--if indeed it had limits--were concealed beneath a silent river of impenetrable shadow whose depth could not be guessed.

Bridging the chasm's gap was a pair of enormous rock pythons, both of equal size, which were apparently copulating. Rock pythons are a large, slow, and rather stupid species of carnivorous reptile that can grow to enormous size, and which inhabit nearly every climate on the Extuorian continent. Their dry, rough back-scales resemble stone and could change color to match the stone around it, so that the python is able to pass for common stone under certain circumstances, which is how it tricks its prey. The rock pythons also are able to adhere to any stone surface, vertical or upside-down by means of a track of adhesive slime, a long, gastropod-like organ that comprises the animal's entire underbelly, which it expands and contracts as it crawl along walls and ceilings. The slime of its undersides could also be used as a deterrent to other predators, as the animal, when threatened, would begin to produce copious volumes of the thick, sticky ooze whenever it came under attack.

Underbelly was pressed against mucus-secreting underbelly as the two creatures writhed slowly in front of Kirh and Ulw, squirming over one another's bodies and smearing the thick slime of their undersides across one another's scaly topsides. The female python lay on top of the male and mated with him directly over the chasm. In this way her thrusts were made visible to the three newcomers as the she-serpent pounded the coils containing her slit down upon the coils containing the male's double-member, and she appeared to be taking the gazing, open-jawed male's enormous sex all the way inside hers with slow, oozing expansions and contractions of her enormous, undulating, gray-scaled body. When the she-python pressed down upon that part of the male, his long, wedge-headed double-cock emerged straight into her, and she sent his limber spine downward into the chasm each time she slid down upon the male's phalli and bumped against him. The long, ropy, sticky strands of the two snakes' sexual secretions dripped from their coils into the void beneath where the two animals fucked each other.

Volgrau was scarcely able to follow Kirh and Ulw; it took him a few moments to squeeze his midsection through the opening leading to the pythons' den. After taking one look at what was happening with the two snakes, the dragon immediately reoriented his attention on Kirh and Ulw, snarling at the two Vulpelins as they looked back at him and then turned and ran away. They were heading directly towards the pythons' intertwined tails near the edge of the chasm, making it plain that they wished to cross the bridge created by the copulating snakes, taking the chance that Volgrau would be too heavy to follow them.

Volgrau smiled wickedly, baring rows of huge fangs as he watched Kirh and Ulw climb onto the double-helix created by the pythons' tails. Both of the reptiles were powerful and thick-bodied, even though at their greatest circumference the pythons still could not match the girth of male dragon at his fattest point, being only about five-eighths the circumference of his massive midsection. There was, however, a good chance that the two snakes would be able to bear his weight.

"But not without attracting attention," Volgrau concluded, watching as the two red-brown, furry fox-creatures escaped across the spine of the female snake without disturbing her in the slightest.

Volgrau waited almost until the two Vulpelins had crossed the snakes, and then he backed up all the way to the tunnel entrance, filling it partially with his scaly tail. After hesitating only a moment, Volgrau charged across the room and leapt the narrow chasm. He landed on all four paws, falling directly in front of Kirh and Ulw at the moment the two Vulpelins were leaping down from the pythons' backs. He landed in front of them and arose wearing the most frightful, fang-packed snarl of rage they had ever seen.

As Volgrau glared at the two terrified creatures in front of him, the dragon lifted his huge foreparts off the ground, reached out with both fore-claws, and pulled the spine of the female rock python, pulling her down off the male. His intention was to pull the two snakes onto the shelf together to be with him and the Vulpelins. But the male fell into the depths of the chasm before Volgrau was able to accomplish this, and at present he had quite enough to contend with, what with the huge female python twisting and wriggling and thrashing around as he held her underneath one muscular, scaly forelimb. The dragon held the snake directly underneath her head so that she could not bite him, while its long, slimy body continued to twist and produce copious amounts of secretions as it sought to constrict him.

Volgrau's hind-claw stomped down on the female python's struggling tail, holding it down and exposing her sex. With his other fore-claw, Volgrau reached down swiftly and without warning, seized Kirh, and lifted her into the air. Taking the struggling Vulpelin in his huge claw, he thrust her unmercifully inside the she-python's slit, while both Kirh and Ulw cried out in protest and horror.

Over and over Volgrau thrust Kirh's entire body inside the snake's sex, holding her inside longer and longer each time.

Kirh was dimly aware of the dragon's deep, hateful voice growling things to her such as: "What's the matter? It's a larger creature's genitals, just the kind you like. You know what to do. What's that? Can't think of what to do next? Can't think of some clever way to escape?"

While Kirh fought in vain against the strength of the huge creature, Ulw seized a large stone he found lying on the ground nearby and, taking it in both forepaws, he ran to where the end of the dragon's tail lay directly across his path. Ulw lifted the stone high over his head, and then threw it down on top of the slender end of Volgrau's tail as hard as he could.

The dragon's response was immediate: Volgrau swung his head to face the male Vulpelin, and the long, black, spindle-shaped pupils of his eyes narrowed in tremendous anger. He snarled, "So you want a fight?" and before Ulw was able to turn tail and run, the dragon cast down both the she-python and Kirh, throwing the struggling snake into the depths of the chasm while he tossed Kirh carelessly onto the shelf in front of his claw-feet. At the same moment Volgrau's huge, horned head struck downwards as a snake strikes, taking Ulw between his jaws and swiftly closing them on the male Vulpelin.

Lying before Volgrau's immense, scaly feet, Kirh sprawled on her back and looked up past the protuberance of Volgrau's massive, scale-armored belly, past his chest and his snaky neck, to where the creature's horned, viperine head was uplifted high above her. The dragon held one fore-claw above his wide-open, serrated jaws, and was in the process of stuffing something down into his maw.

To her horror, Kirh discerned the true nature of Volgrau's activities: the dragon was merely playing with Ulw, letting him try to climb out of his maw only to push him back inside. Volgrau's head was tilted all the way back, his jaws fully vertical when they were closed, and after Kirh had been staring at him for a moment, one of the dragon's huge yellow eyes roamed around until it found the exhausted, wounded, slime-covered Vulpelin female lying at his feet.

Seeing that Kirh was watching him, Volgrau appeared to smile as he pushed Ulw all inside his maw, closed his jaws, and quickly swallowed the tiny lump, whose feeble movements inside his gullet were instantly lost beneath the glistening armor of the dragon's moist throat-scales. There was no doubt in her mind however, that the creature was smiling down at her after swallowing Ulw. He grinned down at Kirh,, while she stared back at him in shock, suppressing her screams until she could no longer hold them inside, at last letting out a long, mournful wail for her lost Ulw.

At that moment she heard a severely muffled, scarcely audible voice cry out to her from inside the dragon's throat: "Kirh! Run!"

It was Ulw. Ulw was still alive, she thought, and for a moment she was unable to feel anything other than shock. In that same moment the voice repeated its command, and something in its tone rekindled in Kirh a sense of urgency, and she immediately did as Ulw's voice had told her to do. She turned and ran, but there was nowhere for her to run. She was trapped on a stone shelf with the dragon, and the chasm was too broad for her to leap across.

Kirh ran towards the underground chamber's dead end, seeing as she arrived at the base of its wall that a slightly higher, narrower stone shelf existed a little more than fifty feet above the floor on which she stood. Without hesitation, she began to scale the wall until she reached the narrow ledge. After gaining the higher shelf, she dared to crawl to the edge and look down.

The dragon was down there, waiting for her.

Volgrau lay directly below her with his long, serrate spine and the lower part of his snaky neck leaned back against the wall beneath her. His head was thirty feet below the shelf on which she stood. He leaned his horned head all the way back against the wall and grinned up at her with long fangs, while he rubbed his throat with one claw.

"Do you hear him?" Volgrau asked Kirh, as he massaged part of his throat.

Kirh heard several muffled, indecipherable cries coming from the depths of the dragon's scaly gullet, and she gasped in horror and sobbed Ulw's name as she realized he was not yet dead inside the beast's throat.

"Yes," replied Volgrau, clearly pleased at the effects his words were having on Kirh. "Your little friend's still alive, struggling deliciously, too, I should add... mmrrrr, ooh, ooh how I love to feel his little paws against my insides..."

"You bastard!" Kirh shouted in a voice filled with sorrow and rage. Then she saw something which immediately caused her to forget her torment: one of the slow, stupid rock pythons was sluggishly crawling out of the gap, surmounting the edge of the chasm, climbing back onto the shelf from which Volgrau had thrown it earlier.

The animal slithered quietly across the shelf towards where the dragon leaned his head back against the wall and glared at Kirh, oblivious to the animal's approach as he tormented the Vulpelin with the slow, painful ingestion of her beloved:

"Mmm, yess, that's it," he growled, continuing to massage his throat, while Kirh continued to witness his actions and shed tears. "Keep moving down, further and further down, towards the stomach. Mrrrr, yes, that's good... Never cease your struggles, my little one. It pleases me so when you choose to struggle that way, grrrgh, yess...."

While Volgrau went on speaking to her, he blinked his eyes lazily, his dark green eye-lids rising and falling slowly as he stared up at her, writhing in exaggerated sensuous enjoyment, making much of the small meal he was consuming. Because of his actions he had failed to notice the python's approach, until the huge beast had entwined itself about most of his tail and had partially immobilized his hindquarters.

Volgrau took notice the moment the rock python started wrapping its coils around the fat base of his tail and surmounting his hind-legs, surrounding him in a rather lustful fashion as it dragged its snail-like, scaleless undersides across the dragon's underbelly, besliming the snakelike under-scales of his tail, and afterwards his lower abdominal and genital regions, coating them with slime.

His eyes widening, Volgrau made a swift motion with his fore-claws to grasp the animal around the neck and hurl it off of him, but he stopped inches short of seizing it, while his finger- and toe-claws flexed and fidgeted. He dared not try to pull the animal off of him or otherwise to treat it roughly for fear that the mucus-glands on the rock python's underbelly would start to overproduce slime, and for a snake that size it meant there was a possibility Volgrau would literally drown to death in the creature's slime before he was able to escape; not to mention that the rock python's undersides were currently oozing across the scales concealing Volgrau's sex, and were already causing him to feel greatly aroused.

At the same time the dragon made a noise similar to a huge gasp of surprise and laughed a half-hearted, wretched laugh. "Oh no, no, please," he whimpered. "Grrrgh, ungh, I--I can't go through with--rrrgh--with this, not again. Please no--"

Volgrau's hind-claws clutched empty air and twitched uncontrollably as the huge snake slithered up between his legs and over his stomach. Baring his fangs in a grin of tremendous panic, the dragon reached out again with both fore-claws and hesitated once again as he was about to grasp the python around its thick neck. Volgrau bit back a loud gasp as the python continued to coil around him, caressing his chest and the base of his throat, whereupon its dual-textured slimy-scaly coils began to squeeze him, causing his claws to twitch and eyes to bulge, and soon causing him to breathe in loud, laboring gasps.

"This python's caught," Volgrau began, staring up the shelf where she stood and offering her a trembling, pleading, sharp-fanged smile, "your scent, little one. It's the female. She's caught--rrrgh--your ss--scent. I--no, please stop, unnh, unnggh." At that moment the dragon began to growl in loud and frantic tones, "Rrrgh, it's--nnngh, it's the fucking--mmh--the fucking male's secretions, the fucking male's--ooaaarrgh, nnngh--fuck! Ss--secretions. Rrrrggh, mrrr.... That's--unnh--why she's crawling--rrrh--over... to reach you," he finished, letting out a low moan at the end of his sentence, right before he started to pant rhythmically.

The rock python now had Volgrau's tail entwined in a double-helix with its own tail, while the dragon's hindquarters, midsection, and chest were all being squeezed tightly within the snake's coils as it continued to surround his body, passing underneath his forelimbs and around his scaly, struggling neck, until the rock python had entwined itself fully about his neck in the same manner as it had entwined itself about his tail, in a tightly twisted double-helix. The dragon's jaws were soon forced into a full-on vertical position by the rock python's embrace, as the animal's tightening coils lifted his gaze inexorably toward the stone shelf where Kirh stood staring down at Volgrau and the python that had trapped him.

The rock python now had Volgrau fully encircled, with its long, slimy underbelly oozing across his lower belly, such that Volgrau dared not make any attempt to pull the creature off of him, for fear that the mucus-producing organ would start overproducing slime before he was able to escape. This would, of course, result in certain disaster for him, not to mention that Volgrau's bright red, slippery dragonhood had already produced enough fluids of its own to slip part of the way out of its sheath of scale, distending from him, with its head pointed up toward his chest and its shaft pressed tightly in between his belly-scales and the python's slimy undersides.

"Wait, wait a moment, surface-dweller," Volgrau begged, staring up at Kirh with pleading eyes. He attempted a smile as he tented the scaly digits of his two forepaws and drummed the tips of his finger-claws together, fidgeting uncontrollably as his smile faltered, due to the python repeatedly stroking his dragonhood with its long, muscular, slimy coils.

"That w--was a mistake," whispered Volgrau, his tone panicked and desperate, "a t--t--terrible mistake. I--I should never have--rrgh--put you inside that f--female's ss--rrrgh--slit. The--unnhh--secr--cretions must have b--yrrrrh--besmeared... your little... hnnnngh, sssrrgh--"

With no way to remove the snake from him, Volgrau could do naught except grit his teeth and endure the rock python's slimy, constrictive caresses, until such time as his panting breaths began to increase, until his labored breathing was twofold what it had been earlier, which mostly overwhelmed his attempts to beg Kirh for aid:

"Rrrgh--aaheghhmm," Volgrau began, clearing his throat before he commenced speaking to her in a softly cajoling but borderline frantic voice, "surface-dweller, I was--errgh--wondering if I... could ask you to lend m--unnh--me... a paw. I... in dire need. I--aie! Ow, unnh, I need... the aid of--of anyone at all, actually. Honestly, I mean it. I m--mrrrgh..." Another rapturous moan cut off the rest of the dragon's speech, and his head lolled back on its snaky neck as he began to gasp and hyperventilate.

Kirh burst into fresh tears of rage and sorrow over her lost love. "You're asking me for help," she shouted down at the dragon, whose gaping jaws, rolling yellow eyes, and general inability to stop squirming around only angered her more, "after you already killed Ulw, after you brought this on yourself, by plunging me into that creature's awful, stinking slit over and over? You murderer, you fat, filthy, ugly monst--"

"Now, now, wait a moment," Volgrau complained wretchedly, wheezing as the python continued to tighten its coils across his body, "you must n--not say such unkind things. No one wants to hear a--ulp."

At that moment the dragon swallowed in fear and surprise, and a sickly, depraved sharp-fanged grin spread across his scale-plated jaws, while his breathing suddenly changed pitch. His expression became slack-jawed, and he started to growl in ecstasy in a voice that was underscored with many tired hisses: "Sssrgh, mmh, ss--surface-dw--ugh, with the m--most humble sub.. mission, I--I beg you... Please please, surface-dweller, rrrgh--I will honestly... do anything... you want. I'm begging you, y--grrrgh!"

Volgrau's pleading, coil-surrounded visage continued to stare straight at where Kirh stood upon the shelf, because it was the only direction in which he was able to look. The python's body continued to twist around the dragon's body, their spirals growing ever straighter, their circles ever tighter, while the dragon hissed between sharp, gritted teeth, and his great yellow eyes bulged as he whispered to Kirh in a voice of the greatest urgency:

"Surface-dweller, I--rrrgh--I was... mistaken. It's not the female p--python, it's th--the male--unnh, rrrgh, oh no, oh no, don't--" Volgrau's long, forked tongue hung limply across his lower fangs as he panted and bellowed, embracing the rock python's enormous girth in both fore-claws as he moaned in shameful, wretched lust and writhed his body against the snake's, displaying expressions of panicked delight on his face as the animal fucked him. "Mrrgh--oh--it's unnh--it's all--all the way... inside me--agh! Aagh! Aaagh!" he started to shout loudly. "The stupid creature thinks that I'm his... m--mate, nnngh, oohh, earrgh..."

"You were the one who stuck me inside the female, fool," Kirh retorted angrily, "so it's your own stupid fault that its mate is crawling across you to get to me."

A weary, defeated look of realization appeared on the dragon's expression, which had already been made a portrait of drooling, chest-heaving exhaustion, and Volgrau covered his eyes with both huge forepaws and let out an unhappy sigh as the rock python pounded his ass-hole with its wedge-headed double-member, causing the excess flesh of his belly to quiver with the force of its thrusts.

"Y--you're quite r--right," Volgrau agreed in a whisper, "ah--about that. It is... my own... stupid fault--sssnngh, unnh--oh no, stop! Stop! Please, I--"

Volgrau abruptly broke off speaking and removed both forepaws from his eyes as Kirh dropped down from the high shelf and landed on top of his scaly skull, landing in between his two horns. From there she leapt nimbly down onto the end of his scaly muzzle, then from his muzzle onto his chest, and from the dragon's chest to the male rock python's slimy coils, and from there finally down to the floor of the chasm-divided cave, accomplishing this in four quick, effortless leaps from level to level.

Kirh turned her back on the dragon and ran away at once, but she was checked almost immediately by the chasm which divided the chamber. The gap was too wide for her to leap across. There was no place she could go, except for the bottomless chasm, and she would likely fall to her death trying to climb its wall, not that she cared about life or death anymore, not since Ulw had been killed.

Kirh turned back to face Volgrau where he lay, with the coils of the huge, slimy python still surrounding his body, still forcing his horned skull back into a position where all he was able to look at was the wide, high shelf recently vacated by her. With his head bent back and twisted sideways, Volgrau was forced to roll the pupil of one yellow eye as far to the rear of the socket as it was able to roll in order to look down at Kirh. The dragon panted strenuously as one huge eye stared down at her pleadingly.

The voice in which Volgrau spoke to Kirh sounded breathless and terrified, and was broken by many grunts and growls and 'murrs' of pleasure: "Grrrgh, a thousand ap--apologies--rrrggh--surface-dwell--ulp, rrrgh, nnngh--I apo--rrrgh--apologize for m--my many attempts t--to devour you, rrrgh--oh gods! No! Wait, no please, please..."

It was clear that pleasure was overwhelming the dragon's senses. "Please try--rrrgh--try t--to lure the ss--rrrgh--snake away," he begged in a weak voice. "Please oh please please, just... It's your scent he's c--caught, sss--surface-dweller. Oh please, please I'm begging you--unnnh, grrrgh, rrrgh--"

While he was speaking, Volgrau bore witness to all the Vulpelins actions in front of him. At the moment he saw Kirh heading over to the large stone that Ulw had used earlier against the end of his tail. This time, however, instead of heading towards Volgrau's tail, Kirh made her destination the end of the rock python's tail, which she appeared intent on smashing with the rock she carried.

Seeing what she was about to do, Volgrau grew frantic, panting as he continued to speak with increasing difficulty: "No, if y--rrrgh... do that, he will produce so m--agh! So much... His slime w--will be enough t--to drown m--unnh--me--oh please, please, just... do me this one favor, surface-dweller--unngh..."

The dragon's yellow eyes looked as though they were quite close to filling with tears as he watched Kirh struggle to lift the stone above her head. The end of the rock python's tail squirmed sluggishly at her feet. With one eye fixed upon Kirh, Volgrau attempted to shake his head no, but he succeeded only in twitching his long neck slightly. His last words to Kirh were a pleading whimper as he watched her raise up the stone over the python's tail: "Ss--surface-dweller, please don't... Please d--don't do that. Please--"

Without hesitating, Kirh threw the stone down on the python's tail absolutely as hard as she could, crushing that part of the animal beneath its heavy weight. The animal immediately went berserk and began to thrash and slither all over Volgrau's body while still maintaining its grasp on him. At the same time its gray underbelly began to produce copious amounts of slime, until waterfalls of the substance were streaming from the base of the dragon's tail and from in between his hind legs, where the python's defensive slime was also filling the cavity of his rectum to the brim, along with the snake's pre-cum, so that Volgrau could feel the spurts of thick, oozing warmth squirting past the tightness of his anal sphincter and running down his hind-legs.

Volgrau moaned and squirmed as squirts of slime drenched him, and he reached out feebly toward Kirh with both fore-claws as the python raped him and continued to coat him with its secretions so that he was constantly spitting the substance out as it filled his gaping, sensuously moaning maw, and dripped from the roof of his mouth and from his long fangs. Volgrau's eyes opened to their widest point after a minute more of this treatment, and then all at once a sick, trembling grin of defeat and ashamedness spread across his fanged muzzle as he loosed gallons of his semen all over his belly and the snake's belly, and then watched mournfully, as the snake raping him smeared his seed over his already slime-coated scales, until Volgrau's seed became undifferentiated from the rock python's slime. And still the creature continued to fuck him in the ass, smearing its slime all over him and shoving the substance far up inside his anus with its thrusts, pulling viscous secretions inside him as it writhed and wriggled its loins against his, secretions which were then squirted right back out of him again as the snake relentlessly sodomized him.

Volgrau panted. He alternated between seizing his heaving chest, his belly, or the back of snake on top of him with his fore-claws, while displaying all his fangs and bellowing in a fit of ecstasy.

"Rrrrnnngh!" he growled. "Rrrgh, oh fuck! Fuck! Unngh! You ss--stupid snake, errrgh... If you do not... leave me a--OOAAARRGH! NO! Stop! Please stop! Please, please, surface-dwell--agh! Oh no, not that again please, surface-dweller, please please, I'm beg--you--urp--achp!"

The rest of the dragon's words were cut off as Kirh threw the stone down on top of the rock python's tail again, and hundreds of gallons of ropy, sticky slime flowed from the creature's slime-glands, causing the dragon it was constricting to receive a generous coating of slime all over his face, his throat, his chest, belly, groin, and tail. Volgrau's fore- and hind-claws, in the meantime, flexed weakly as he clutched at the scaly spine of his violator.

Volgrau withstood the treatment only a few moments longer before ejaculating all over his lower belly again, and the white stickiness of his semen was soon rubbed away by the other creature's secretions and its constant slithering over his groin.

Volgrau watched the Vulpelin closely, and when he saw Kirh once more start to lift the stone she had already used twice, he began to wail mournfully, "Oh no, don't! M--my apologies, ss--surface-dweller, for devouring your little f--f--ungh! Friend... rrrgh! Unngh! I am... quite sure he ss--suffered comparatively little... pain, f--far less than I suffer... at the present--grrrgh, ooouunnhh..."

"Not nearly enough," muttered Kirh, turning away with downcast eyes. She began to walk away from him.

Volgrau gasped, "Not nearly--rrrgh! Ergh, surface-dweller, don't go. Please, I... I agree with all y--you've said. I deserve it--grrgh--f--far worse than this. Unngh, g--guilt consumes me. I want to--OH NO! NO NO! HE'S--UNNH--OH NO, GODS NO!--sssSSSSRRRRAAARRRRGGHH! AAAGH! AAAAOOORRRHH! UNNH! UNNNNH!"

The energy of the dragon's struggles became truly astounding as the rock python began to shoot its considerable load of semen into Volgrau's anus. He bellowed and panted and wheezed as his lungs took in huge volumes of air, while warm, thick rivers of snake's cum spurted from his anal orifice in a seemingly endless flow. The dragon's own cum flowed over his slime-besmeared and armored breast and belly in viscous streams that were ejaculating from his own member, likewise with seemingly no end to them.

At last Volgrau lost the last vestige of control over his feelings of overwhelming sexual arousal. He grasped the python's body with all four claws and began to meet the animal's pounding thrusts with reciprocating movements of his hindquarters as he gasped and roared and came over and over again, all over himself and the snake. Within moments Volgrau's yellow eyes had become half-lidded and sleepy, and his sharp-fanged, trembling grin became one of pleasure-drowned idiocy. A long inarticulate moan escaped his throat, and his bloated dragonhood spurted one final huge eruption of slime onto his belly and the snake's undersides, the latter having finally ceased raping him.

The huge rock python lay on him for a time with its heavy coils wrapped around Volgrau's slime-drenched body, and Volgrau breathed a shuddering sigh of relief as the giant snake began to unwind itself from around him. It released his neck and his chest and midsection, and then it started gathering its coils on the ground next to where he lay. The dragon gasped and whimpered as his member loosed a small load of cum as the snake pulled out of him. Unable to move after his ordeal, Volgrau could only watch as the rock python crawled around to the front of his head and nosebumped him, flicking its tongue against the end of his muzzle for a few moments.

Then, as though recognizing at last that the creature with which it had just mated was not in fact its mate, the rock python very suddenly struck and seized the rounded end of Volgrau's muzzle between its powerful jaws. As the dragon pawed frantically at his attacker, he was swiftly pulled down onto his belly, stretched out on the ground to almost his full length, and then devoured head-first in a leisurely fashion, while the entire time he remained helpless to do anything except lie on the ground as the giant snake fitted its jaws around his dripping, slime-coated snout and eventually his eyes and eye-ridges, until Volgrau, unable to move from where he lay, was filling the maw of the python with his huge, gasping breaths.

Volgrau produced a "Mmrrmpmhf!" or some similar sound from inside the snake, and in a muffled, pleading whimper he began to call out to Kirh: "Surface-dw--rrrgh--oh fuck! Fuck! Sssslpht, unhgh--oh, fuck... surface-dweller, listen... just lure the ss--snake to th--the... your--ugh, unngh!" He grunted and moaned as the beast consumed his fat midsection, sliding its jaws over the point of his greatest girth and biting down on his huge, rigid dragonhood, drawing a little blood and causing his member to loose a few more spurts of cum into its mouth as its upper jaws pressed Volgrau's cock against his belly-scales. His groin was at that point about to completely engulfed by the creature consuming him, and as the tops of the dragon's hind-legs disappeared into the snake, more of his own seed drenched his scaly claw-feet and made his legs and tail struggle and slither frantically. He bellowed and growled loudly from within the beast as the touch of its slime-coated insides caused him to climax over and over.

The rock python swallowed the rest of Volgrau as he continued to shoot off inside it, until at last all that remained of Volgrau was his struggling, slithering tail and a huge, rounded bulge directly behind the head of the snake. Only the lower half of Volgrau's tail was still sticking out of the animal's mouth.

The dragon pleaded to Kirh in a severely muffled voice: "Please... do not stand there... watching. Call for help... do something, just... unngh... I can't bear it."

Kirh watched the snake devour Volgrau for a few moments longer, after which she turned away and began to climb down the wall of the chasm.

Inside the rock python, the dragon coughed and gasped, "Surface-dweller, are you still there? Answer me... mmrrmpmhf! Ough! Ough! Fuck! Rrrgh, this is intolerable! Ah, listen, snake, I know that you--agh--don't understand a word I'm saying..."

As Volgrau spoke, the python rearranged its body on the shelf and lifted the bulge of his recently consumed prey over the chasm's narrow gap, directly over where Kirh was climbing, causing her no small amount of panic. But the bulge in the snake landed on the other side of the chasm with a muffled "yaumph!" from Volgrau, and the rock python crawled on, heading towards the entrance to its lair.

In the silence of the underground chamber, Kirh could hear echoes of Volgrau's desperate attempts to talk his way out of his predicament as she descended the cliff-face:

"Fuck! Fucking ss--snake!" he snarled. "Rrrgh! Ugh! When I get out... of this, I'll--uch! Unngh! Yes! Wait, that was--unngh! That was it! I--unnh--if I use all four claws, and push backwards, and I can push myself out--unngh! Superb! Yes!"

On the stone shelf above where Kirh was climbing, Volgrau had begun to use all four claws to back himself out of the python's gullet. After a few moments he had managed to push himself backwards far enough so that more than half of his tail could be seen once again, sticking out of the python's open maw. He continued to back himself out of the creature's gullet, all the while offering himself statements of encouragement:

"Almost... to the... legs," he rejoiced in muffled, panting gasps. "Almost to the... legs... just one... more... Urrgh! Rrrgh! Almost... one more..."

The base of Volgrau's tail was showing now, and his digitigrade hind-paws flexed and struggled right behind the python's lower jaw, which was currently gnawing the base of the dragon's tail.

At that moment the sluggish, well-fed rock python, which was still slithering towards the entrance to its den, reached the narrow mouth of the entrance tunnel, the one through which Volgrau had earlier had a difficult time squeezing his midsection. With the additional girth of the snake's body enveloping Volgrau's belly and hindquarters, the bulge in the animal's body made him far too big for him to fit inside the tunnel.

Nevertheless, the rock python made attempt after attempt to fit inside the tunnel. It bumped the huge bulge that was Volgrau's ingested rump over and over against the outside of the tunnel as it tried to crawl in, consequently undoing all the work the dragon had done towards escaping from the creature's alimentary canal. The repeated bumps against the outer rim of the tunnel had the effect of shoving Volgrau back down inside the snake's gullet, tapping him back into the snake's mouth a few inches with every bump, as the slow, stupid creature stubbornly tried to fit itself inside the tunnel it had now become too fat to use.

Volgrau made wretched noises of complaint from inside the snake as he roundly cursed the animal for re-devouring his tail: "Rrrrgh! Stupid brute! Open your f--fucking eyes, you--unnh--stupid ss--snake! Aagh! Ssssrraaaghgh! Oh nononono, nono, please, please not that again," the dragon was soon begging frantically. "N--no, not again--ah, unnnggh! UNNH! RRRGH!"

He panted and squirmed inside the creature as another painful orgasm shuddered out of his sore, exhausted member. Volgrau's cum squirted out all over his belly inside the python, while the walls of its slimy gullet squeezed his sex and his belly unavoidably down upon his own slippery seed, forcing him to squirm in it, causing orgasm after orgasm to be pinched out of his aching dragonhood.

The rock python's attempts to fit inside the tunnel continued to thump against Volgrau's backside, until at last the dragon uttered in a weak, muffled voice that came from one end of the python's huge prey-bulge:

"Mrrgh! Unngh!" the voice gasped. "You're too... fat... for the hole... Unngh! Rrrgh! I should not... have eaten that... last little c--creature, ooh, rrrgh, mrrrr--oh no, nono please no more, n--unngh!" Volgrau began to hyperventilate. "Aagh! Ooah! Agh! Agh! Oh no! No! Rrrgh! Gods! Aoh! Aoh! Aoh! Not ag--grrgh, sssrgh, sssrgh, unngh..."

Once more, Volgrau loosed his load of semen all over the python's insides, writhing feebly in his own secretions, while repeating to himself in a forlorn, muffled cry: "Should not... have eaten that... oh--"

Out of breath and exhausted, he was unable to continue talking.

As Volgrau's consciousness faded due to overwhelming physical and sensual exhaustion, and his thoughts went black forever, the rock python's repeated attempts to exit the den continued to pound against the dead weight of his rump, pounding him further and further into the animal's gullet. Long after the dragon was dead inside it, the rock python continued its stubborn attempts to leave its den, bumping its prey-bulge against the outside of the tunnel over and over again.

Below in the chasm, Kirh's descent progressed....

Part Two: Unlikely Compassion

88888

Hundreds of feet below where Kirh climbed, the black dragon Uroshonth slept at the foot of an immense, miles-long underground cliff, whose uppermost heights were lost to shadow. He lay with his enormous pair of leathery claw-tipped wings folded across his back. His long, armored neck curved round as he lay on the ground with his jaws resting across the tops of his black-scaled forepaws. He slept soundly, until he was awoken by the sound of several pawfuls of small stones bouncing off of the floor of the cave, only a few feet from where he lay.

Uroshonth quickly gained all fours and stood staring at the phenomenon. A rain of pebbles and debris was falling to the floor a few feet from where he had come to seek refuge from the dangerous, sick, perverted little creatures that apparently roamed abroad in that land. He retreated further from the phenomenon, nervously pawing the ground, and his suspicious, blood red eyes tracked the trajectories of the falling objects, following their course up the wall.

The moment Uroshonth looked straight up, his jaws came open reflexively, and Kirh fell neatly right in between his rows of fangs, landing on the back of the dragon's slippery tongue and sliding down its fleshy surface to thump against the soft back of his throat, where her furry tail immediately triggered Uroshonth's cough reflex.

After a moment or two of uncontrollable coughing, the dragon spat Kirh's slimy, bedraggled shape into his forepaw, and upon examining her closely a gasp of pure fear escaped him, and his eyes opened wide and immediately made sorties to the left and the right as though he sought escape. He set Kirh down a moment later and quickly lowered his head close to the ground, curving his snaky neck around in order to view what was underneath his groin: nothing.

"My apologies," Uroshonth growled hastily, while continuing to glance all around at his surroundings, and underneath himself several more times, while at the same time retreating from Kirh. He did not take his eyes off the Vulpelin for a single moment as he backed away. "Forgive me. But y--you must have seen th--that was not my fault. I--I mean, you fell into... into, ah... my mouth." He swallowed nervously.

Then Uroshonth noticed that Kirh was not responding to anything he said or did. Indeed, she did not seem to be acknowledging him at all. "I see... all right," he went on to say quietly, continuing to look for the little creature which he had not yet seen, the male. He continued to retreat slowly, while she remained still and speechless.

"He's hiding," the dragon muttered aloud to himself. "Where is the other one?" he asked no one in particular. "Where is the other one?" he asked, slightly louder this time, directing his question toward Kirh.

"Ulw is dead," she answered him flatly. "The other dragon killed him." She lifted her head at last to gaze at Uroshonth, and she went on to accuse him, saying, "Volgrau took Ulw from me. He swallowed him alive. And now you're about to devour me, the same way he devoured my Ulw, the same way you devoured my cousin Leul."

Hearing this, Uroshonth halted in his tracks. "Ah, if--if my mistress is referring to that other little one of her species who tortured me, I can't remember ever hearing the name Leul, or any other name associated with that person, but I do know that she was not killed, not by me, and not by the other ones, the wolves' army. When they sent her away she was still alive, and not chained up."

Kirh shook her head and sniffled. "You're a liar. You don't have to lie anymore to trick your prey. I'm your prey. Here I am. Go on, I want it to be over. Go ahead. Put me in your mouth. Don't you yearn for the feeling of your prey struggling inside you? Trapped inside your stinking gullet where you've put every other living thing you've encountered in the past hundred years..." Sobs wracked her slender frame, and she shuddered. "Go on," she whispered. "I just want to die."

Another fit of sobbing followed this stark confession, and she lapsed into a period of hysteria for her lost love, shouting his name as she wept for him, "Ulw, Ulw, please come back... You promised... You promised me you'd never leave. Now you're gone... Now Leul is gone... Now I have no one. I have no one... I've lost all the people I love. I've lost all reason to go on living. Oh Ulw, Ulw, come back..."

Unable to generate a response to what he was seeing, and uncertain that what he was seeing was indeed real, and not some sort of trick involving the other little creature hiding somewhere nearby, Uroshonth could only stare at her at first. As Kirh continued to weep, the dragon pawed the floor of the cave and surveyed his surroundings for several moments, before at last inquiring, "Do you truly want me to... eat you?"

Kirh shot him a hateful look. "Why not? You dragons devour all living creatures, it's said, even other dragons. Look at me. I'm much smaller than the smallest dragon. I'm not even a mouthful for a creature your size. If you're not able to find space for me inside that fat belly of y--"

"Aghemmggh," Uroshonth cleared his throat with a growl of irritation, cutting off the rest of her speech. "Listen, little beast, I do not know how you usually speak to the persons you know intimately; that is to say, the little ones like you, but you seem to harbor some resentment against me and my kind for some reason. It may shock you to learn that not all dragons are wicked, ravenous monsters that do nothing except kill and devour other living creatures. Most of us simply wish to be left to our own devices, to do as we please and live our lives without having to worry about ambitious little creatures like you, with your eyes on our wealth. After all, I had done nothing to you and your companion before we met the other day, and yet the two of you saw fit to torment me for minutes, until I was sore and aching" --he winced slightly at the memory-- "and nearly incapable of movement.

"Not to mention how I was the one who defended you from your enemy, and from another dragon, no less, not a common enemy. My actions saved your two worthless little lives, but now you're two lives minus one, and it is through no fault of my own, which to me means that you ought to stop speaking to me as though I'm the one to blame for your troubles. I didn't kill your friend."

Uroshonth went on to say in dismissive tones, "Terribly unfortunate, how some must die while others go on living. The world's an unjust place. But life must continue, and so I say, carry on. And for your information, I've been told for a number of years now that I cut quite a dashing figure, not at all fat," he remarked, as he stood tall on his muscular hind legs, extending his long neck and lifting his regal, horn-crowned head, turning it to one side for her to view him in profile, as he spread out his vast, leathery wings behind him. He proudly flexed his thick black forelimbs and light gray, scaly pectorals, while the full-bellied girth of his gray-green midsection swelled and quivered throughout the performance.

"And yes," the dragon went on to say, "perhaps I've let myself go somewhat during the past few years, not that it should concern you little creatures, at least not to the point that you should feel it necessary to make comments such as, 'My, how fat you are. Why, you must eat anything you can catch, you fat, bloated beast.'

"Go get fucked, you furry little turd," he snarled at her. "And as for my stinking gullet," he added, "I'm not the one that smells like I just came from swimming in a lake of stinking rock pythons' stinking fuck-juices. In any case, I expect you'll want to finish with this mourning business. Finish up, and then when you're done, take a bath. Then maybe you'll be clean enough for someone to eat, and then I'll consider it. For now, I shall bid you farewell."

Uroshonth stood tall on his hind-legs, pressing the finger-claws of one forepaw against his scaly breast, and offered Kirh a slight bow. Afterwards he regained all fours and turned away, swishing his tail disdainfully as he left her all alone.

However, Uroshonth did not depart right away. He lingered instead, his curiosity aroused by the little creature's strange actions: in all his years of hunting, the dragon had never once encountered a creature wishing to be eaten by him, let alone one who was requesting it from him directly.

Kirh was still weeping, shedding tears of despair and sorrow with all reason gone from her eyes, as he approached. Slowly, Uroshonth neared her, though he did not go too near.

"Will you... please tell me your name?" the dragon requested gently, sitting back on his haunches to one side of her and adopting a pose that was non-threatening. Kirh stopped her sobbing long enough to tell him, and the dragon answered her, "Kirh, my name is Uroshonth. I must apologize... for mocking you while you were mourning a lost love. I sometimes forget myself, and sometimes I know that I can be quite a--"

He elected not to complete this thought, but instead went on to say to Kirh, "I can tell you the direction you must travel in order to find the Lupaorans, should you still want to look for the other little one whom I saw, who I can assure you was alive the last time I saw her. That is the most I can offer you. I'm sorry, Kirh..." He paused for a moment before adding, "It hurts a lot to lose someone you love dearly. This has also happened to me recently."

Kirh lifted her gaze to stare into Uroshonth's huge, blood-red eyes, and it was the first time that she was able to recall seeing an expression worn by a dragon that caused the creature to appear lost in thought. Painful memory was undoubtedly a presence in Uroshonth's mental wanderings, however; for it seemed to Kirh that the dragon's mind was momentarily adrift in some vision of an earlier, more unpleasant time.

Before Kirh could utter a word of protest, Uroshonth seized her in his fore-claw, but instead of placing her in his mouth, he placed her atop his head, in between his two upward-reaching horns, and balanced her there as he walked to the shore of a nearby small underground lake, a still, crystalline pool in whose waters no living thing had dwelt since the beginning of Time. Upon arriving at the shore, Uroshonth reached up and took Kirh down off his head. The dragon then set her down upon the lakeshore, whereupon he began using his mighty fires to blast the surface of the lake, until the water's temperature felt warm and agreeable.

Kirh remained entirely inert and totally speechless as the dragon lifted her in his claw once more and set her down in the warm waters of the pool, which came up to her neck. At last, with water all around her, she seemed to realize that Uroshonth apparently had no desire to devour her, at least not at the present time.

"What are you doing?" she asked him dazedly, feeling rather confused at first.

Without answering her, Uroshonth gently dunked her head underneath the water with the end of his serpentine tail, pushing her head down as he climbed into the lake with her, causing large volumes of water to spill out onto the shores as his hindquarters settled in the shallows behind her.

Uroshonth started to brush the slime out of Kirh's coat with gentle strokes of his claws, starting with the fur on her back and moving to her arms, her white-furred chest, her neck and torso, while the his tail assisted in the process by gently dunking her head underneath the water every so often. Uroshonth continued to comb his huge, sharp claws through the matted fur of her coat, until most of the slime had been combed out of it. What was not combed out by his claws was squeezed out of it by the end of his tail, or else soaked out with warm water.

Finally, Uroshonth gently closed his huge jaws on the scruff of Kirh's neck and lifted her out of the lake, setting her dripping shape down on the shore, whereupon the dragon began to lick her fur clean with his long, forked tongue, pausing every so often to spit Kirh's excess hair onto the shore of the lake.

Kirh withstood the entire cleaning process, and even found parts of it pleasant. Indeed, the gentleness displayed by the enormous creature came as a total surprise to her. As the dragon's head nuzzled her softly between licks, Kirh began to stroke his giant scaly muzzle, at first because she kept trying to push him away, but soon because the creature seemed so gentle as he was cleaning her that it almost seemed to her rather inappropriate for her not to pet him on the end of his snout and stroke the underside of his smooth, scaly jaws.

At one point she embraced the front of the dragon's muzzle and rested her head against it while Uroshonth was licking the fur of her neck. This immediately caused him to stop what he was doing and pull his head away, returning to his full height, and also retreating from her several paces.

"Er, all right," the dragon replied somewhat unsteadily, while Kirh continued to look up at him. "Now to dry you... Close your eyes. Don't open them until I say."

Kirh did as asked, and the creature spread his huge wings and beat them towards her, sending tremendous gusts blowing across her that rapidly dried her coat and nearly blew her over a number of times. When at last her coat was fully dry, Uroshonth ceased stirring the air with his wings and refolded them across his back. Afterwards, he remained standing tall on his hind-legs, facing Kirh, with his long, serpentine tail curved around in front of his claw-feet.

Having just lost her beloved Ulw, Kirh did not yet feel comfortable enough to smile, but when she looked at Uroshonth's fang-lined jaws and his red-eyed countenance, she saw something there that resembled a look of pity and understanding. She nodded in solemn approval and lifted her forepaw.

Uroshonth reached down to offer her his huge, scaly paw. Kirh permitted the dragon to grasp her forepaw gently in between his huge thumb- and forefinger-digit, and he held onto her for several moments.

"Thank you," she whispered to him in earnest.

"No need," replied Uroshonth, smiling. "Here, come on... I'll show you the way back to the surface, and afterwards I can show you which way to travel, should you still want to find the wolves' army, and your cousin Leul."

Kirh nodded and thanked him once more, and Uroshonth helped her to climb onto his back. She took a seat along his spine's serrate ridge, in between his enormous, folded wings, and she let Uroshonth carry her away.

Part Three: On Dragonback

88888

At the terminus of a deep, mile-long ravine, which dead-ended in a wall of loose stones and debris from an ancient rockslide, a huge cave-mouth lay half-concealed beneath the hill of rubble. From out of the cave echoed several scratching and shuffling noises, which were soon followed by the appearance of Kirh from the cave-mouth. Moments later, Uroshonth emerged and stood by her side.

Kirh found a seat on a nearby stone. Her companion took a seat next to her, and as his hindquarters thumped against the ground with a slight tremor, she looked up at him and smiled warmly. The dragon leaned down to nuzzle her, and she stroked the front of his black scaly snout.

"I appreciate you coming to my aid... twice," Kirh offered.

Uroshonth shook his head. "My pleasure," he replied, bowing to her slightly, "and I wish you a swift reunion with Leul."

She stroked the end of his muzzle a moment longer, till the dragon lifted his head and turned away to look toward the opposite end of the ravine which was not blocked by a rockslide, as the one close to them was.

With one forelimb Uroshonth pointed down to the end of the ravine. He said to Kirh, "Go to the end of the ravine, turn east, and you'll see a notch between two peaks, a gray peak and a white peak. Head down the slope toward it. Climb the opposite slope to the notch, and on the other side of the notch you will find a valley below you, which runs north-south. Descend into the valley and follow it into the north. From there you will be walking alongside a river, until the valley walls on either side start to vanish into the ground, and you begin to see ice clinging to the walls, and snow in the trees. You will be approaching the Erujanian Ice-Wastes, and beyond these lie the Forests of Erujany, and the outpost of the wolves' army."

Kirh nodded in comprehension. When Uroshonth finished speaking, she said to him once again, "Thank you."

He leaned his head down toward her, and Kirh stroked the scaly underside of the dragon's jaws, while he displayed the points of his fangs in a smile of appreciation. Kirh smiled as well.

"I think I've changed my mind," she said to him. "You do cut quite a dashing figure, Uroshonth, with your huge, claw-tipped wings and black, shining armor, your polished claws and your dazzling sharp teeth, the contours of your perfect muzzle, so symmetrically armored and lovely--and your eyes aglow like embers," she went on to say to him in a soft murmur, as she stroked the end of his muzzle. "I think you are an exceptionally handsome dragon."

Uroshonth's tongue slurped the side of Kirh's head in a friendly fashion, and he answered, "You're quite lovely yourself. It's not too difficult to see what he saw in such a creature, your Ulw--"

Fresh tears glistened in the corners of Kirh's eyes, and she bit back a sob and looked away.

"My apologies, Kirh," Uroshonth offered solemnly. "I should not have spoken of it so soon after..."

"That's all right," she amended. "I need to... start building a memory of him," she finished in a voice that cracked and sounded like it was on the verge of tears. "Ulw," she wept. "I wish you were still here with me. I'm going off in search of Leul... She's my last surviving... my last surviving anything, friend or relative. If she's dead--"

Unable to control her emotions any longer, Kirh hid her face in her forepaws and wept, while Uroshonth gently consoled her. He covered her shoulders with one enormous wing and gently nudged the underside of Kirh's jaw with the wing-claw, while he pressed his black muzzle against her red, furry cheekbone.

The dragon lifted his head and declared with confidence, "You'll find her. She's alive, Kirh, I promise. Go and find her. I wish you a safe journey."

He bowed to her one last time, turned, and spread his enormous wings to fly away.

But before Uroshonth could take to the air, Kirh immediately called out to him, "Wait! Uroshonth!"

His wings settled against his back once more. "What's the matter?" he asked.

Kirh hesitated. "It's just that," she murmured, "if you're wrong. If I find out she's been killed or... She... I don't know anyone else, you see. All our relatives were killed when our town was invaded by Waartog slave-traders. Ulw and Leul were the only two left alive. Then the vile pigs separated us, and I saw a group of Lupaorans wearing armor take Leul away. And after that I never saw her again. I only knew that the Lupaorans had taken her. I didn't know where, but when you mentioned seeing another creature just like me, I just thought... I thought it could be her."

"It well indeed may be her, but I'm having a hard time nailing down the degree to which all this involves me, since you and I only met--how long--a day ago."

In solemn accents, Kirh confessed, "If Leul is dead, or lost forever, then you'll be the only... other person I know... Other than you, I'll be completely alone. Everyone else I know is dead."

"I see," Uroshonth replied quietly. "That is terrible to hear. But I don't think we can ever truly become friends, I'm afraid to say."

"I know," Kirh admitted, holding back tears. "But right this moment, I really can't be... by myself. At least I have to know first that Leul is... is dead, before I can begin to accept that I am truly alone. But until I know that for certain, I don't--I want to have someone... near me, someone who can--who will be my--gods, I sound like such a fool talking this way!" she cursed herself angrily, and Uroshonth blinked at her in surprise. "I don't even know what I want to say to you," she grieved. "I'm completely useless."

"I think you said it well enough," Uroshonth complimented her. "I truly wish I was able to help you, Kirh." He sighed softly as he looked down at the little creature standing down in front of his toe-claws, the way she looked up at him, her soft brown eyes pleading with him, so filled with distress and need. "Kirh, I must confess I'm not feeling entirely confident with the idea of going back to confront those same creatures that held me captive for more than a month, who tortured and drugged me, and are at this moment sending more warriors to raid my lair in a range of mountains called the Rjegforth. I have to return at once."

"I understand," Kirh answered with her eyes downcast.

Uroshonth stared at her a moment longer. "I--" he began, "I really must... My lair, the treasure that is in it was taken from a battalion of the wolves' army months ago. I want to make certain... they don't recover it from where I've hidden it. Those creatures would only use it for wicked, ah... purposes." His speech slowed as he watched the tears glisten in Kirh's eyes. "It's better to guard the treasure, so that creatures such as..."

Uroshonth allowed the sentence to die unfinished. All of a sudden he shut his eyes and shook his great, horned head with genuine vehemence. "No, I--all right... All right, Kirh, I will take you. I'll take you there, to the place where I saw her last, the one whom you believe to be Leul. We'll fly. Come on."

The sadness on Kirh's expression disintegrated suddenly, replaced by tentative, uncertain hope and nervous tension. "Fly?" she echoed softly. "You--you'll take me there... on your back?"

Uroshonth extended one huge forepaw, holding it at chest-level in front of the smaller creature. "Climb on," he ordered, and she obeyed readily.

The dragon set the Vulpelin down at the base of his huge, scaly neck and waited for her to take her seat. "You must hold onto my neck with all your might," he said to her. "I'll be flying a great distance aboveground. If you fall off while we are inside a cloud, for example, I may never be able to find you again. You'll have fallen to your death long before I'm able to catch you."

Kirh nodded faintly. She was still entranced by the idea of seeing the inside of a cloud, and wanted to ask Uroshonth about it, but within moments the wind was rushing past her ears, as the huge winged reptile leaped with his hind-legs and brought his wings down, pushing tremendous volumes of air down beneath them, and doing so again and again with greater and greater force and speed until he was aloft and soaring, surpassing the edge of a cliff and wheeling a mile above the valley floor.

Kirh could look down from the dragon's back and see countless miles of barren rocky terrain at the highest altitudes, sparsely wooded slopes, rivers, and forests, all of it astoundingly small and barely discernible from where she was, miles above it all. She saw the mid-afternoon sunlight sparkling on the distant rivers from more than a mile up, and she was momentarily held in awe by the incredible beauty of the sight.

"Are you all right?" asked Uroshonth, turning slightly in order to view her sitting at the base of his long, scaly neck.

"It's wonderful!" she called out, breathing in the clean upper air. She even caught herself smiling, and quickly stopped, remember Ulw, but then flying over the landscape on dragonback so was indescribably, breathtakingly beautiful that Kirh found it nearly impossible to remain mournful, while mile after mile of landscape were passing beneath her in a vibrant tapestry of varied colors, textures, and grand changes in altitude as rows of bare, jagged mountain peaks periodically swept past underneath them.

Kirh soon grew sleepy as Uroshonth carried her into the purpling sky of evening, over a gold-tinted, endless cloudscape above lands of snow-covered trees and a great, black, river of moderate breadth and depth. She managed to stay awake for a time, until the dragon began to fly at a lower altitude over a forest of dark snow-covered evergreens and the dozing Vulpelin glimpsed her mount's winged shadow-reflection racing across the endless white ice-fields, descending towards them as evening turned into night.

From that point on, her consciousness faded in and out. Kirh's last memory before she passed out was the feeling of the dragon's huge teeth grasping her gently by the scruff of her neck and setting her down in the soft snow along the water's edge.

88888

Part Four: In the Wolves' Den

88888

Kirh awoke before dawn, and at first she could not discern where she was or what had happened to her. Then she looked down at where she had been sleeping, and saw a surface of overlapping, black serpent-scales underneath her paws. Their texture felt as smooth as polished metal, warm, and pliant, all quite agreeable.

When Kirh lifted her head and glanced around, she saw Uroshonth's fearsome draconic visage hovering right above her, staring down at where she lay curled up on the backs of his forepaw. She was momentarily startled to see him there, until the events of the past several hours returned to the forefront of her thoughts. Remembering where she was, she greeted Uroshonth with a warm smile and an uplifted arm.

Standing tall on his hind-legs, the dragon leaned down and took her tiny forepaw in his huge one. Uroshonth's finger-claw slid down her arm to her throat, and gently massaged Kirh underneath her jawbone with his smooth, sharp nail.

"Sleep well?" the dragon asked her, removing his claw.

"Yes, thank you," Kirh replied, yawning and stretching her aching limbs. "Where are we now? Do you know?" She surveyed the snow-covered landscape.

"We're several miles south of the wolves' encampment. I wanted to wait until you woke before I flew away. You can follow this river for several miles to the north, until you begin to see signs of the wolves' habitation built up along its shores. Then you will have to proceed cautiously and hide in the woods."

"Oh," she replied, her spirits abruptly sinking. She watched him gloomily, while Uroshonth unfold his wings with a loud rustling sound and prepared to take off.

"It's been a pl--" Kirh began, but the tremendous gust of wind created as the dragon took flight directly in front of her caused the Vulpelin to turn away her head, and hide her eyes from the whirlwind of stinging, icy grit that assaulted them.

"Pleasure knowing you," she finished quietly, turning back to face Uroshonth.

The dragon was already high above her, flying southward across gray heavens on swift wings which flapped powerfully and audibly across the distances, as Uroshonth apparently sought to speed his departure as much as possible, or so it appeared to Kirh.

Her only companion vanished beyond the horizon after less than a minute, leaving Kirh alone and stranded in the snowbound wilderness, and without a clue as to what she ought to do next except follow the river until she saw signs of the Lupaorans.

Due to the wind blowing constantly from one direction, one half of every tree was white, while the leeward sides remained black and visible through the torrential gale. After a few minutes Kirh became accustomed to traveling from the leeward side of one tree to that of the next, using the trunks as windbreaks as she struggled against the storm-winds coming from the north.

In time the snow became less torrential and eventually ceased to fall altogether, and the wind lost some of its power, so that Kirh was able to scamper from one tree-shelter to the next with not nearly as much difficulty as before, as she watched for the stark, black bodies of slowly trees coalescing against a field of white as she approached them from a distance. Then it happened: Kirh approached a tall, dark tree and hid behind it, placing her forepaws against its trunk, when all of a sudden the tree came to life, and growled at her:

"What in the name of--"

Two strong, hairy forepaws grasped Kirh by the shoulders and lifted her into the air, and she immediately found herself the subject of intense scrutiny, as a brawny wolf-like creature with huge forepaws, and wearing a steel cuirass and breastplate, held her up for examination. The wolf-creature's gray-black muzzle split into a sharp-fanged snarl of confusion and irritation, at which time Kirh at once recognized the characteristic face and ears of a Lupaoran anthrowolf, which were not much different from those of a true wolf. The wolf-creature's armor clearly marked him as a warrior of the Lupaoran Arm.

"What the hell are you doing all the way out here?" the Lupaoran asked Kirh gruffly.

Without waiting for her reply he seized her, heaved her over one shoulder, and carried her into the north for a mile or more, until they arrived at a cottage of rather dark and sinister construction. Its color was predominantly black, and it possessed a heavy, barred door and four dimly glowing windows with large, greasy oilskins stretched across their square frames.

The Lupaoran carried Kirh to the door and knocked on it four times. The door swung inward at once, admitting him, and they entered into a single-room dwelling built of dark evergreen logs held together with black pine-tar.

A moment later the warrior set Kirh down on her feet, allowing her the chance to observe her new surroundings for the first time: flames burned behind glass in a trio of oil-lamps, which sat three of the cottage's four corners. There was a bed in one corner, a long wooden table, and several wooden chairs nearby.

Also present were two huge, muscular male Lupaorans who were clad in armor similar to the newcomer's breastplate and cuirass. They sat at the table with a number of large, bladed weapons spread out in front of them, which they appeared to be in the process of oiling and sharpening.

But the moment the third Lupaoran entered the cabin and set Kirh down, the two others looked up from what they were doing.

One of them snarled, "What's that?"

"Lord Auraphin's little pet," replied the newcomer, shutting the door.

"Lord Auraphin's little pet is with little Lord Auraphin," the warrior at the table argued. "I just came back from patrol half an hour ago from that stream three miles to the east, and I saw Lord Auraphin there with her."

"Bullshit. This is her. Now someone has to take her back to the palace."

"Oh fuck off, you brought her here. Besides, I'm not going anywhere. I was there not half an hour ago. She was with Lord Auraphin and his generals. They were all there, walking alongside a crowd of those awful--ugh--fucking snake-things--warriors, too, big, ugly brutes, a lot of them. He's entertaining one of their lords tonight, they said."

"They?" the Lupaoran who had carried Kirh inside snorted.

"The officers. But it was Auraphin, his generals, plus the snakes, plus an entire detachment of our troops, plus that little vixen there and a few other concubines. They were all coming from the palace, heading over to the treasure-house."

The newcomer's hairy, lupine brow lifted in an expression of disbelief. "This little creature," he declared slowly, "came that distance, in that amount of time, through that weather..." He shook his head. "I don't believe it," he remarked. "She could not have come that far in such a short time."

Squinting his yellow eyes at Kirh, the speaker sitting at the table suddenly became greatly amused by something. He laughed evilly--a deep barking sound--and he rose from his seat all of a sudden, strode over to where Kirh was standing, and put his huge, gray forepaws on her shoulders.

The great, gray wolf's head leaned down to view her, and Kirh shrank from him, terrified.

"I was wrong. This isn't the same one," said Kirh's examiner. "The other one's coat had more gray in it. This one's all reddish brown--not the same."

"But Lord Auraphin keeps only one of the creatures," said the second warrior at the table, speaking for the first time. "And she's supposed to be his favorite."

"And with good reason, I've heard," chuckled the first warrior, who had leaned down to stare at Kirh. Without warning he seized the female Vulpelin by the forepaws, lifted her onto the table, and he laid her back flat against the board, spreading her furry hind-legs apart and knocking most of the weapons onto the floor with a clatter.

While he held her down, the Lupaoran's huge, hairy right forepaw swarmed all over Kirh's breasts, squeezing and squashing them, while with his left forepaw he took off the chain-mail taces-skirt that extended from his waist to his thighs, and then started undoing his cold-weather breeches in order to grasp the shaft of his cock.

"What the hell are you doing?" asked the two other Lupaorans. "Do you want to be executed?"

"Don't you see what's happened?" Kirh's would-be rapist growled wickedly. "It is not the same creature. I came from seeing Lord Auraphin with his favorite concubine half an hour ago, miles from here. You came from finding this one a few minutes ago, a few hundred feet away. This one's wandered in from the wilderness. No one else knows she's here. She belongs to us."

The two other Lupaoran's displayed fang-packed grins of delight on their lupine muzzles as they started toward her. Instantly, Kirh's would-be rapist turned on his two companions, snarling at them like a wild animal. "I'm before any of you, since I figured out who she was," he growled, "or who she wasn't. But in any case," he grunted as he continued to restrain Kirh, keeping her back pressed against the table while she fought against him with all her might, "we can't keep her here. Inspection's only twelve hours away, and we'll have to have her out of here by then. So let's all have our fill of fucking every hole in her body, just for tonight, till it's time to be rid of her. If she isn't dead by tomorrow, then we'll kill her, roast her, eat her for breakfast, throw away the bones, and get rid of the rest of the evidence."

"Brilliant," said one of his companions.

"Can I be next after you?" asked the other warrior.

"No," the huge Lupaoran snapped his jaws at the speaker angrily. Grasping the edge of the table in both forepaws, he began to slide both Kirh and the heavy table across the room together, over to the windowless wall at the rear of the cottage to retrieve a pair of thick, leather wrist and ankle restraints from a hook on the wall. "We'll decide whose next in a little while," he growled irascibly.

Having said so, he immediately seized Kirh's wrists and bound her with the thick leather restraints, so that she could not do anything except squirm helplessly. He held her legs together, keeping them pressed in between his huge, gray-black furred thighs, and secured her ankles.

"Go and get a fire started," the Lupaoran ordered his two comrades, "and be ready to roast her at a moment's notice. Inspection may come early tomorrow. Well go on, it's not a fucking live on-stage performance!" he snarled as they continued to stare. "Get out! Fuckers..."

The Lupaoran's huge, hairy cock was fully erect, and without hesitating a moment the creature lined his crotch up with Kirh's struggling hindquarters as he grasped her ankles in one forepaw in order to steady her, placing the other forepaw on the table for leverage. He slid his huge, rigid, unlubricated wolf-cock into her and began to fuck her in the ass-hole, hard, painfully, causing her to scream and yowl and gasp.

"Uroshonth!" she cried out. "Uroshonth!"

Kirh watched in horror as the two leering wolf-warriors exited the dwelling with their lustful gazes fixed upon her straining face, both of them rubbing their crotches in anticipation of what was to come. Then they left her, closing the heavy door behind them, and Kirh's sobbing continued for as long as the brutal anal rape continued. She shut her eyes tight, and tried to pretend that Uroshonth was still somewhere nearby.

"Uroshonth!" she cried out again, but it was no use, she decided at last. The dragon had been miles to the south when she'd last seen him, and he would have to be hundreds of miles away by now. There was no hope for her. No one was coming. Kirh gritted her teeth against the awful pain and cried quietly as the Lupaoran continued to sodomize her, grunting loudly as he pounded her ass with forceful, almost angry thrusts.

"Uroshonth," Kirh whispered the name one last time.

In the midst of the grim act of sodomy there arose suddenly from outside a sound like several people shouting all at once in a panic, accompanied by sounds of banging and clattering metal like crashing pots and pans. At almost precisely the same moment there came from outside a tremendous roaring gust of wind that swept over the roof of the tiny cottage and went howling away over the trees.

The final sound was so terrifyingly loud that Kirh's rapist immediately stopped what he was doing at once and left her lying on the table as he seized one of the weapons from the floor and made his way over to the door. The wolf-warrior threw open the door and looked out to view the snow-covered landscape in front of the house.

The fire-pit lay to his left, surmounted by a long iron roasting spit, but it appeared cold and unused, and his two companions were nowhere to be seen.

Then, a little ways off to the left of the fire-pit, almost behind the cottage, the Lupaoran saw two small fires. They were burnt black on the white ground. Moving closer, the warrior observed that the two melted, blackened lumps that appeared to have once been covered in fur. Now their hairy coats were smoldering, and their bodies sent columns of greasy smoke rising into the sky while ribbons of orange flame continued to lick their cinder-black skins.

"What the f--" The Lupaoran began, only to have the rest of his words cut off as a tentacle--smooth, slender, and covered in dark scales--seized him around the neck and pulled him bodily through the doorway of the house, forcing a hoarse shout of surprise and terror from his throat.

Then Kirh's attacker was gone, and the doorway stood empty.

In a daze, Kirh looked up from where she lay on the table, unable to see what had just happened to her violator. Frigid winds blew through the open doorway. Moments later, a huge scaly black forepaw emerged into the room and began feeling the floor close to where she lay, and Kirh heard a familiar, deep, growling voice calling her by name: "Kirh! Kirh!"

Relief flooded her senses, and tears of gratefulness glistened on her furry cheeks. "I'm in here!" she shouted. "I'm tied up! Oh Uroshonth, thank the gods! Thank the gods! Uroshonth!"

Uroshonth grasped Kirh's body gently in his huge fore-claw and removed her from the single-room cottage. Outside the house, she saw Uroshonth standing tall on his hind-legs, with his long, curving black tail lying in the snow at the front of his feet, and there, dangling by his neck from the end of the dragon's tail, Kirh saw her violator, the big, gray, musclebound Lupaoran, who wore a panicked, toothy grin as his captor held him up for Kirh to examine.

"Shall I dispose of this one for you, Kirh?" asked Uroshonth, and the Lupaoran was scarcely able to manage a nervous gulp, what with the iron coils of the dragon's tail encircling his neck.

"No, I need to speak to him. I need to ask him where to find Leul. I was listening to him talk, and I think he knows where she is."

Glaring down at the Lupaoran, Uroshonth swiftly lowered his head so that he and the wolf-warrior were practically nose to nose. Eyeing the creature's huge, black saurian snout in front of him and rows of pointed, ivory fangs longer than his forepaws, the big Lupaoran swallowed a lump in his throat and started shivering.

"Please I'll tell you," he begged. "She's east of here. Go a few miles. There's a... a--a--a treasure-house. It's huge. You can't miss it. They are all i--in there, the Lord Auraphin, the--that's--that's her name: Leul. She's there with him, and--"

"She's there," Kirh repeated eagerly, quickly growing excited. "She's there. You have seen her alive."

The Lupaoran nodded painfully, gasping. "I have seen her alive, half an hour ago. She's with them now, at the t--treasure-house... He's h--having his portrait painted. A--a number of them are being painted, one of him with all his j--generals, one with his favorite concubines, one with--ahm--with his, ah--"

"All right, shut up," Uroshonth growled at him, and the Lupaoran obeyed at once.

Kirh and Uroshonth locked gazes and stared at one another.

"I'll distract them," said the dragon. "You find Leul and escape, and do not worry about what happens to me."

"You came back for me," Kirh murmured. "Why did you come back?"

The dragon used his claws to unbind her, removing the leather restraints that bit painfully into her wrists and ankles, while he answered her in soft accents, "I feared for you. I feared for you, as a friend. Call it whatever you like. As soon as I'd left you, my conscience must have... raised its voice in protest. I realized that I had just carried you all this way, only to send you off to meet with certain death. I thought about what you had said earlier, about being all alone, and I thought... you needed someone."

With tears of gladness streaming down her face and freezing to ice on her cheeks, Kirh reached for Uroshonth as the dragon lowered his huge head, and she embraced his muzzle, closing her eyes as she held onto him, while the dragon pressed his warm, scaly snout against her slender, furred chest and closed his own eyes.

"I do need you," Kirh whispered. "I do."

They remained together this way for a moment, as still as statues, until Uroshonth lifted his head away, presently returning his attention to the Lupaoran he held in the coils of his tail.

"Please d--don't," the Lupaoran stammered in a panic, as Uroshonth's vicious, blood-red gaze reoriented on him. "I want to live."

Uroshonth looked at Kirh. Kirh immediately retrieved the leather restraints the Lupaoran had used to tie her up, and she affixed them around the larger creature's hairy wrists and ankles, binding him thoroughly so that he was compelled to kneel in the snow in front of Uroshonth.

"Stand aside, Kirh," the dragon told her, without releasing the bound Lupaoran's neck from his coils. "I have to take care of some business."

Having said so, Uroshonth reached down with one forepaw to feel the scales concealing his sex, until he had grasped his dragonhood and drawn part of its enormity forth from its sheath. The Lupaoran watched, horrified, as the dragon's member emerged directly in front of his face.

"May as well be rid of this," Uroshonth admitted, "before I go into battle, what with the excess weight and all..."

Without further preamble or pause, he began to urinate right onto the Lupaoran's face, soaking the fur of his muzzle and jaws, his neck, chest, and shoulders, all of him drenched to the skin. The stream of hot dragon-piss splashing against him caused him to gag and shout and make loud gurgling noises of protest as gallons of translucent yellow dragon-piss splashed all over him, going inside his nose and down into his throat, stinging his eyes and mucous membranes.

Choking on the dragon's hot urine, the Lupaoran moaned and cried out dolefully as Uroshonth's stream of piss blasted the front part of his muzzle, striking him in the face with enough force to push his lips back and give his teeth a thorough rinsing over. After a few moments more of this, Uroshonth's stream lost some of its power, and the heavy, cascading splashes of its weakening stream slopped over the wolf-creature's face and chest, some of it wetting his loins and hairy legs, involuntarily keeping his member erect beneath the flood of its warmth.

At last Uroshonth finished urinating on the wolf-creature, and the Lupaoran was left in a puddle of rapidly freezing piss, lying bound and shivering in a large patch of yellow ice, his fur soaked through and freezing cold. Within moments, the warrior would be lying unconscious and hypothermic in the snow; he would likely be frozen to death within the hour.

Leaving the Lupaoran rapist alive and slowly freezing to death on the cold ground, Uroshonth quickly seized Kirh in his jaws and gently set her astride his huge, winged back.

"Kirh," Uroshonth told her seriously, "you must not worry about what happens to me. Find Leul and escape. That's all you have to do. Leave the wolves' army to me. I'll kill them, and I'll enjoy every moment of it, too."

Kirh nodded solemnly and grasped hold of his back-spikes somewhat tighter as they headed east, towards where the soaked and shivering captive had claimed they would be able to find Leul, as well as the Lord Auraphin, together with all his generals.
