Kenta Chronicles:the attack
Kenta dashed out of his car hastily grabbing the katana from the back seat. He ran in the building and made his way to the elevator. He darted inside the elevator nearly making a secretary fall on her ass, he turned around and pressed the button for the 5th floor motioning to her he was sorry. The elevator slowly made its way up which at the moment seemed like eons to him, giving a sigh of relief as it pinged and opened up. Not thinking he burst through the door startling everyone in the room, panting Kenta looked up and saw their faces and gave a sheepish smile. "sorry, i overslept again."
"It's alright my boy," the board director spoke calmly and undisturbed." At least you made it."
"Yea, I guess..." Kenta smile disappeared into a more of a frown and moved his gaze to the floor.
"Perk up there I don't want you to be distracted as we give our guests a demonstration of what a HAoD 'soldier' can do!" he boasted then turned to face the group behind him who seemed to be a little frustrated at the intrusion. "well then, will u please follow me to the simulation room." The "guests" stood up and followed him out of the room some giving me a glance or glare,"Kenta hurry up, we don't want to keep these nice people waiting any longer than they have to!" the old hound dog motioned for him to follow which instantly he obeyed.
Kenta caught up to the director,"So what exactly are we going to do?"
The hound turned his head, "A simulation Kenta, and I want you to show them what you got." he smiled then turned away to open the door to the simulator. Kenta shook a little and a smirk formed on his face, he thought to himself how he could show them the powers he had learned and the skills he had. "Hey! get in here and show them what you can do!"
"Yes sir!" he stood up straight and jogged into the simulation area." he looked into the one way window and nodded showing he was ready. At the notation the director pushed some buttons and began the simulation, the room changed into a desert terrain and a few enemies appeared."Alright!" Kenta unsheathed his katana as the crimson red blade flashed in the light as he held it up ready to begin.
"Begin!" shouted a voice that Kenta was unfamiliar with, but didn't bother to think about it as his first opponent rushed towards him. The attacker lunged forward thrusting his dagger onwards, the tiger spun around and swung his blade around stopping it just before hitting the being in his neck. Using the dull end he brought the blade into his chin and flung him upwards, Kent spun around on his toes and sliced upon the body above him, at the blow the being disappeared. The tiger had no time to ready himself as another came towards him, the enemy shoved the bladed spear forwards barely missing him twisting the spear turning the blade inwards facing the tiger tugged it bringing it towards his head. Kenta dodge just in time following up with an under-sweep tripping what he now figured as a raccoon or something of the sort. The challenger caught themselves and kick Kenta flatly in the face sending him into a boulder with a loud crash, given the time the raccoon readied there spear and held it firmly forward. Kenta picked himself up and glared at the body standing in-front of him. Within seconds the tiger lunged forward practically using his blade like an axe chopping at the opponent the raccoon took this opportunity and caught the blade running the spear to the hand-guard on kenta's blade. He flung the spear upwards taking the katana with it, kenta stumbled backwards, but in his fury pounced forward and tackled the being. Keeping Kenta at bay with the shaft of the spear. The tiger sat up keeping the body below him pinned to the floor and began punching them, after a few minutes the raccoon fell limp and disappeared. Kenta barrel rolled to the side avoiding two blades, the two bodies turned and thrust foreword at him, the tiger rolled again then quickly jumped atop the boulder. Quickly the enemies dashed forward and jumped at him swinging their blades at him, Kenta dived beneath them and landed on the ground and jumped forward grabbing his katana and readied himself. The two forms jumped down and began a series of front flips towards him, one after the jumped forward and dropped down swung at him. Kenta side stepped and swung claiming the first body with his blade. One of the "guests" turned towards the back of the room where a shadowy figure was leaning against the wall and nodded his head. The figure moved out of sight, at that time the tiger had ended the other opponent and stood there heavily breathing.
"Well done Kenta!" the crowd clapped as he sheathed his blade and help it in his hand."please do come out my boy, and grace us with your presence."Kenta blushed beneath his fur, but did as he was told and began to walk out. He took another step, and began another but was unable to move it as if it was bound to the floor, whatever it was, kept him there something had grabbed his ankle and was pulled into the ground itself.
"What the!" he was unable to finish his sentence as he was dragged down. He slammed the sheathed blade into the ground to keep from going any farther through the floor. Kenta pulled himself up, struggling against the force that was holding him there, after a few moments the object that held him released. The tiger pulled himself up before a searing pain came into his back, he screamed in agony as his body became hot and swimming in pain. His body shook as he trying to gasp for air, his body unable to move as though he had been crippled. Kenta manged to look into the one way mirror and see the source of his agony, Behind him stood a female black panther wearing a all white outfit, she was holding two daggers, the left one a deep blue, while the other one lodged into my numbing body was a coal black my blood ran down his body, that he could feel. He glanced up into the mirror and got the look in her eyes that smug she had, it was infuriating, he looked into his own face and saw the fear he had, the sadness. That did it, the tiger's face became angry, he wanted this person to die, no..not die feel what he feels wanting it to stop but knows it won't happen."So, you think that I;m going to sit here and die?" Kenta keeping in his agony all he could,"Well, you're very wrong!" With every once he had, Kenta forced himself to dislodge her and the blade from him.
"Hey! what are you doing?" she yelped as she was thrown off him and into the air. Kenta staggered and fell to the floor, using all his might he staggered up with the help of his katana he balanced throwing the sheath to the side. Meanwhile the panther landed on her feet and was preparing to strike. She charged towards Kenta who from loss of blood and exhaustion, blacking out here and there. She came out him with anger in her face, the tiger lifted his katana to defend himself but she knocked it away and out of his hands, drooping one of her daggers and grabbing Kenta into the wall of the simulator causing the hologram disappear and return to the empty room. She raised him as far as she could manage him suspending the body up off the ground, she smiled seeing him gape for air.
"Nothing against you cat," she spoke to him starring into his blank eyes,"its just business." With that she stretched her other hand as far back as possible, and thrust the blade in her hand towards Kenta. She stopped mid-thrust, blood trickled from her lip, her eyes bulging, kenta gaining some concussions, the panther looked down and saw a silver tipped arrow protruding from her chest. Still holding the tiger she sunk down to the floor, Kenta falling down to the side.
"No one touches that cat, except for me!" there in the door way stood Runo holding up a bow which he had already notched another arrow to. looking into the window, "well? get the medics!" the fox dashed towards Kenta, who lied there, limp. Runo fell to his knees and took the tiger into his arms, tears formed around his eyes, Kenta...Kenta!" he stood there yelling at him tears falling from his eyes.a few tears hit Kenta's cheek, and he stirred slowly opening his eyes.
"R...Runo...I'm..ok." he spoke so quiet and dear but assured the fox starring back into his eyes, he managed a smile, then slowly closed his eyes..into total nothing.
"I'll....Kill..You!:" the panther stuttered trying to pick herself up.
"HAHAHA" Runo laughing histericaly,"I'll end it now!" A black charge formed around his hand, he twitched his hand and a dark orb flew into the woman, she instantly dropped back to the floor and never got up. The fox turned back around and picked Kenta's body up and walked out of the room.
