They're minerals! Get it?

Ahhh, no-one ever gets my jokes.

A commission for seonthyris seonthyris

Amber is on a school trip down to Freeport and the Gulf, when a freak storm comes up out of nowhere (global warming!? Thanks, Obama!) and washes her overboard. But don't worry! She's rescued by a very friendly kindred spirit... who isn't too eager to let Amber leave her island anytime soon.

Hope you enjoy it!

PS: I am looking for someone to do the next Amber picture. Please see my FA journal!

Dear Diary,

Boy, where to start?

It's been a messed up couple of weeks, I gotta tell ya.

School trip to Freeport was fun. We took in a bunch

of nautical museums, a lot of sites of Historical Interest,

and then we went on a cruise all up and down the coastline.

It was supposed to be a three-hour tour...

The storm had come up out of nowhere.

The unpredictable Gulf weather had been such a worry that, for the entire six-hour bus-ride down to Freeport, leaving the wind and the snow behind, they were forced to read two separate safety indoctrination manuals AND write a test. Three days in the coastal city, with only three hours planned to be actually on the water, but the safety-obsessed school district insisted on ridiculous levels of preparedness.

"Cirrus, cumulonimbus, vertical stratocumuliform..." Cindy muttered, bonking her head against the plexiglass bus window as she repeated the various cloud structures over and over. "I don't remember which is which, and I REALLY don't care. Will they let me off the bus if I don't pass?"

Amber chuckled and patted the side of the hyper-buxom vixen's sweater reassuringly. "If they're smart, they'll never let you off the bus. I don't think Freeport's ready for you. Any of you."

"Hey! I'm just a poor country bumpkin, what do I know about the big city?" the foxy cheerleader grinned, crossing her eyes and pinching her tongue between her teeth. "Hyuk! Boy howdy, Ambs, people's round here's urr so FRIENDLY!"

The hyper-kitteh snorted, trying to imagine Cindy as anything other than far-too-worldly for her own good. "Well, I'm convinced!" she drawled, rolling her eyes. "Just finish the dang safety test, ok? We're Bus Buddies. I don't want to be stuck on the bus because you don't know how to fasten a life-jacket. Why do they have to be so bright, though? It just seems like a neon orange shark-signal."

Cindy frowned, glancing at her bosom, twin sweater-clad spheres that nearly took up both bench seats and were valiantly straining to push Amber into the aisle. "Do you think they'll have life jackets to fit me?"

"We could put one on each arm, like water-wings..."

"Oh, like THAT'S safe!"

They had both gotten more than ninety percent on the test, thus proving that in the event of a sudden weather change they would know what to do, which was: put on a life jacket and go hide in the cabin of the boat. That was the answer to almost every question, except for those regarding how to recognize weather changes, and how to recognize sharks by dorsal fins, which will be an enormous comfort while being devoured. Neither girl thought that, much like most tests, they'd ever actually get to use this information anywhere in the real world.

So when they found themselves puttering up the coastline, well out of sight of dry land, in a thirty-foot launch with an unexpected tropical storm that had decided to skip the National Weather Service entirely and upgrade itself to a hurricane, it can perhaps be forgiven that Amber's first thought was 'Well, that was six fucking hours well fucking spent!'

"BELOW DECKS NOW!" cried Mrs. Sloop, their humanities teacher. The normally shaggy possumlady was drenched from head to toe, fluffy fur slicked down and revealing her nearly emaciated body floundering in an oversized lifejacket. "EVERY ONE! REMEMBER THE SAFETY TEST!"

"WHAT DOES THE SAFETY TEST SAY ABOUT A BOAT DOING A FUCKING BARREL ROLL?!" Amber cried in frustration, one hand clamped onto Cindy's wrist, the other clinging to the steel rail so hard her knuckles popped. "Cindy, you ok?"

The class had been lined up along the gunwale, snapping smartphone photos of the approaching weather, a mountainous wall of cloud that ran the gamut from warm gold to eerie black, confident in the Captain's words that it would veer south before long. Realizing slightly too late that the storm was quite happy with its current heading, the Gipsy Danger had only been making speed for shore for all of two minutes when the gale-force winds overtook them.

Amber had gotten her lifejacket on swiftly, a little put out that her breasts posed no obstacle whatsoever, and had managed to get one fastened around Cindy's belly before the rain struck at them, sheets of it slashing horizontally over the churning sea.

"I'm good!" Cindy said hoarsely, flashing a thumbs up even as her feet slipped on the inch-thick washes of water lapping at their shoes. Their classmates streamed past them, partnered up and working their way along the safety lines strung along the rail, but Cindy was having a hard time seeing anything below her collarbones and marshalling her legs to work together. "You?"

"No worries!" Amber grunted, dragging the topheavy fox behind her. "Being hyper is paying off for once!" She felt a little bad for the dents she was leaving in the steep pipe, but the Captain could maybe use them as a reminder not to endanger the lives of schoolchildren!

"AMBER! CINDY! HURRY UP!" called Mrs. Sloop, standing by the doors that led to the safety of the launch's belly, ushering the last of the students past her and waving impatiently.

"Oh, yeah, right, like I'm just out here for a pleasant stroll," Amber seethed, pulling herself along as the ship lurched crazily beneath them, thunderous explosions against the hull punctuated by sprays of seawater that seemed to come from the deck itself. She spat out a mouthful of the ocean and shook her head, feline instincts warring with her canine desire to go for a swim. "I'M GOING AS FAST AS I CAN!"

Hampering the kitteh's journey, as they did for nearly every other aspect of her life, were her locally famous and infamous nethers. She purposefully wore polyester skirts and waterproof tights today, not wanting to go through the herm equivalent of a wet t-shirt contest (even though Cindy wore a skimpy white t-shirt for the precise opposite reason), but they were little protection against the deluge. Even through her nanofibre restraints she was soaked to the bone, every last nook and cranny feeling flooded, and not in the good way.

To make matters worse, she had decided not to relieve her pent-up pressures for the entire trip, just for a lark, and now on day three she was magnificently endowed, her skirts hiding a sac and sheath that rivalled Cindy's bosom for volume. Her class was well used to her strange biology, and although her teacher clucked disapprovingly Mrs. Sloop had to admit that at least it meant Amber was not doing anything inappropriate with anyone. Amber had basked in the disbelieving stares from the good folk of Freeport...

... but now she was thoroughly regretting her decisions as she had to drag her OWN mass, as well as Cindy's, through Hurricane Liska to safety. She had to walk like a bandy-legged pirate, sheer girth forcing her knees wide apart.

"Bet you wished you'd taken me up on my offer last night now!" Cindy called.

Amber goggled, then immediately shut her eyes again when the stinging rain redoubled its efforts. "If I took you up on your offer, you'd still be getting drained in the hotel!"

"I know! Win win!"

"You're crazy!"

"But I'm right! Come on, girl, we're slowing down!"

Mrs. Sloop was maybe ten feet away now, Amber's oversized paws finally finding good footing on the deck plates. The launch canted crazily to one side, throwing both teens against the railing, the hyper kitteh squeezing her friend's wrist so hard the fox cried out.

"ONE... SEC..." Amber grunted, feeling the boat begin to tilt back the other way, and using the momentum. She knew she couldn't make it to the door without slipping, three full paces of open, railing-free space between her and safety, but she wasn't about to risk Cindy's life.

"SORRY!" the herm yelled, bracing her butt against the railing and throwing the topheavy cheerleader bodily towards the teacher. The possumlady held up her arms as though she actually thought she could catch Cindy, but both figures vanished through the doorway in a jumble of arms, legs and breasts, the door slamming shut behind them.

That went better than expected! Amber thought, hunkering down and preparing to leap for the doors. The handles were huge and easy to grasp, it was just a matter of getting there, and if there was one thing felines were good at, vastly oversized genitals or not, it was this. The storm raged around her, the Gulf a spiky landscape of gunmetal grey, the sky an inversion of the same, the wind and the rain giving her the impression of being caught in a smoothie blender at Strawberry Tornado.

She gauged the distance, dug her claws into the seams in the deck, flexed the muscles she rarely had the opportunity to really challenge... and pounced.

Afterwards, she would have admitted that waiting for the waves to go her way would have been a good idea.

She sprang straight and true for the doors, but the moment she was airborne it seemed as though the whole vessel just dropped straight down into the sea, dipping into an unexpected trough. She watched with almost placid frustration as she soared well above the doors, above the far side of the deck and above the starboard gunwale, tumbling in a graceful and unseen cartwheel before slamming tailfirst into the tempestuous seas.

When Mrs. Sloop finally came to, the knot on the back of her head throbbing like a diesel locomotive, the bone-deep urge to teach shon through before conscious thought.

"Detention for Cindy Shasta," she slurred, sitting up slowly, the tumultuous rocking of the launch sliding her back and forth. There was a ripple of laughter from the relieved students, but their expressions were still drawn and nervous.

"Mrs. Sloop," Cindy said rapidly, pleased that the teacher had recovered so quickly. She was kneeling at the possumlady's feet, having dragged her to the relative safety between the long rows of belowdecks seating. "Amber didn't come down!"

Mrs. Sloop's eyebrows drew close, and she pondered this. "Detention for Amber O'Ma-"

"MRS. SLOOP!!"

That seemed to snap her out of her reverie, and she shook herself like a dog, droplets flying everywhere, although the soaking wet student bodies hardly noticed a little extra moisture. "What do you mean, she didn't come down?"

"She didn't come down! She threw me at the door! You caught me... and thank you for saving me from a nasty tumble down the stairs," the cheerleader said swiftly, always prepared to cover her ass a little bit, "but she never came down! I went back up and looked out the windows-"

"Porthole, Cindy."

"-portholes, and she's not up there!"

Understanding dawned on the dazed possum. "She's... she's... oh no..."

Mrs. Sloop tried to leap to her feet, but she realized too late that most of her legs below the knee were pinned by the very concerned Cindy's breasts. She sat up too swiftly and pushed off with her hands, twisting halfway around before discovering that she was anchored, and collapsed back to the deck, striking her head and knocking herself out cold. Again.

Cindy sighed and sat back. "Can someone please go tell the Captain?! I need to wake her up again."

It was warm when Amber woke up. That was the first thing she noticed.

She remembered that despite the hot weather and the warm rain, the waters of the Gulf were shockingly icy, closing around her like a tumbling avalanche. It probably saved her; had the shock not completely paralyzed her body, she probably would have screamed and use up all of her air. She tumbled round and round beneath the waves, pushing weakly towards the surface but constantly losing track of where the surface actually was.

Then she remembered bubbles, and fins, and teeth, a maw opening far too near her face...

"EEAAUUUGGGHHHH!!!" she screamed, rolling swiftly to her feet in terror and dragged back down to the damp sand by the centripetal force of her nethers. She ended up rolling backwards, nanofibre restraints thumping her hard in the face and setting off an explosion of sparks behind her eyelids, but she managed to use her momentum to regain her footing once again.

Hunched over, claws out, soggy tail trying to puff up in fury, she hissed at nothing in particular, unable to shake the impression of endless gleaming teeth and a throat that seemed to go on forever.

There were no teeth. There were no fins. Gentle waves swished around her ankles, a huge ribbon of golden sand stretching off to either side and marking the boundary between crystal blue waters and lush jungle greenery.

"Eeaauugghh?" she said weakly, arms slumping to her sides. "What the..."

She snapped upright, eyes scanning the horizon. "HEY! HEEYY!!!" she screamed, using her newfound vocal range and lungpower, grateful for Cindy's constant band-practice badgering. Starting slowly, legs sweeping wide around her overfilled sac, she raced along the beach, frantically searching for the launch.

After maybe a hundred yards, puffing and wheezing, she slowed and stopped. There was not so much as a speck between the sapphire blue sea and the baby blue sky, except for the distant trailing edge of the hurricane. The beach curved away sharply, ending behind her at a rocky promontory that jutted out into the water, vanishing ahead of her around the edge of the jungle, and she realized that she was either on a very narrow isthmus, or...

"A desert island," she said disbelievingly. "A deserted desert island. You've got to be kidding me."

Nose and throat raw from seawater abuse, every bone and muscle protesting her every motion, she sagged backwards onto the sand. Somewhere she'd lost her lifejacket, but she still had her white school sweater (Go Whitefish!), black polyester skirt and pink tights. Beneath the last two and stretching them beyond all reason were her restraints, loosened to nearly their largest possible setting.

"Ok," she panted to herself, trying to calm down and think rationally. "I can figure this out. I can... I can work this out. They're looking for me. Someone's looking for me. There's no wreckage, so the boat's ok, and they knew I'm not there. Ok. The Gulf isn't that big, they know all these islands. Ok. I can... I just gotta make it a few days. I can do that. They've got the Google Maps. They can probably see me."

Amber glanced down at her skirts, rising like a small mountain between her legs. "Well, they can see part of me."

Several minutes later, she was sitting slightly farther up the beach, keeping a cautious distance from the palm trees and dense ferns, not entirely confident there weren't wild animals that would find her delicious. She had removed her sopping clothing and made a neat array of all of her possessions, leaving herself clad only in a sturdy black bra and gunmetal grey restraints.

"Sweater. White. Wet. Go Whitefish," she narrated, moving over the lamentably small stack of supplies. "Tights, stretchy. Couple holes. Skirt, theoretically waterproof. I could make a tent out of it? School notebook, pages mostly reduced to goop. Pencil, mostly intact. One broken smartphone, with a bullshit waterproof case. Three hair elastics. One pack of Halls, somehow NOT ruined."

She kicked savagely at the final item. "One Circe Field Trip Safety Training Card, laminated. Useless piece of crap."

The sunlight was baking her dry, and in mere minutes she had fluffed up and shed the last of the seawater, except for the enormous expanses of fur beneath her restraints. Chewing her lip nervously, she glanced self-consciously up and down the beach before rolling her eyes in consternation. "Yeah, right, someone's going to stumble upon me and be concerned with my junk. Whatever."

Bracing herself for the expected recoil, she reached behind her and gripped the space-age chrome-steel buckles that anchored the huge nanofibre panels, exhaled and pulled.

kf-THWIP!

"Oh my dear sweet lords, that's better!"

The restraints collapsed into a surprisingly small pile, the super-tough fabric hardly thicker than paper, revealing the very feline Amber's very canine endowments. Her fuzzy, cream-and-gold sac was stretched far larger than she normally allowed herself to get on a day-to-day basis, the outer slopes of each swell easily visible from behind, and her deep burgundy sheath resembled a third thigh draped overtop of them.

Amber swished her hips side to side experimentally, watching everything sway heavily and feeling the sunlight playing across her fur. She hummed thoughtfully, realizing that beyond being stranded with no food and no supplies on a desert island, this was another first.

"I'm outside. I'm in the sunshine." Another hip wiggle, and she couldn't suppress a smile. "And I'm naked!"

The young hyper kitteh would sometimes angle the blinds in her room so that the sunlight slanted through it and prevented anyone on the street from seeing in, and would splay herself out on her bed to soak in the rays, but it was never very satisfying. She dared not even go into her own backyard when not fully clothed, several neighbors being unusually attentive ever since her growth spurts. She had been naked outside a number of times, but always under cover of darkness, and the eventual cover of her date.

She took a few hesitant steps once more, feeling everything bobble and shift without the oppressive force of her restraints crushing everything against her inner thighs, and giggled again. A quick shimmy and a flick of her fingers and her bra joined the restraints on the sand.

The slender kitteh, steam rising off of her as the last of the sea evaporated, twirled and laughed. She knew that her situation was serious, but she also knew it wasn't the eighteenth century. Airplanes would be whizzing overhead shortly, the Coast Guard would zip around the shoreline, and she'd be back in Freeport with a steaming mug of cocoa and a sweet story to tell at school on Monday.

"Doesn't mean I can't enjoy myself a little bit," she whispered to herself, breaking into a loping jog, surprised to find out how quickly her rather oversized portions fell into an acceptable rhythm. "I have GOT to get naked more often, this is WAY easier!"

Feeling the warm sun on her fur, hearing the birds twittering and tweeting from the greenery, enjoying the soothing white noise of the waves collapsing softly against the beach, it was easy to forget the graveness of her situation and simply live in the moment, something that she rarely got the chance to do by herself.

She wasn't sure how long she spent dancing spastically on the tropical ribbon of beach, her natural lack of rhythm apparent only to a few wild and uncaring animals, and when she eventually overbalanced and tipped over, chortling at the ridiculousness of the entire scene, she didn't bother trying to get back up. She simply worked her fingers and toes through the fine, silky sand, wriggled her rump and her back deeper into the wonderfully warm dune, and simply enjoyed the feeling of being herself.

Hardly ten seconds passed before she once again glanced up and down the beach to confirm her privacy. Alone time, combined with sufficient room and a lack of structures that could be damaged, were rare commodities in her life, and her teenaged hormones planned to take advantage of it.

Fingers moving like spiders, her kittenishly oversized paws crept across her hips and settled with familiar intimacy on the upper curve of her sac, her legs forced so far to either side it was like riding a particularly obese horse. She gasped immediately, her body responding instantly the to the slightest hint of overtly sexual contact; a shudder passed through her heavy balls as though they had been struck.

"Mmmm, there there, girls," she purred, eyes closed, losing herself in the quite literal heat of the moment. "You're safe here."

The weight tugging at her loins increased slightly, and she carefully traced one claw up and down her sheath, feeling the densely-packed flesh within filling out and stretching the velvety mound larger, thicker and fuller. She doubted she could get both paws around it now, even at this early stage, and had to suppress the urge to start imagining cute cabana boys in skimpy shorts flooding the beach.

"Maybe just one cabana boy," she murmured dreamily, picturing a svelte, midnight black stallion racing towards her in slow motion, wearing red Baywatch trunks and bouncing... bouncing...

"Hello!"

"EEAAUUGGHH FUCK!" Amber screamed, trying to scramble to her feet and finding herself thoroughly defeated by her hyper endowments. She clawed madly at the sand, trying to drag herself backwards and wishing that she hadn't left her skirt so far away!

Chest heaving, eyes wide, every follicle standing on end, she sat up and tried to find the source of the voice. It was no wonder that she hadn't seen or heard anyone approach; the figure standing knee-deep in the water had been hidden from view by Amber's sac, and it was plain from the statuesque woman's form that the path of approach had been distinctly aquatic.

Seeing the newcomer waving nervously, the kitteh raised a paw and waved hesitantly back.

"Are you feeling better?" said the sharkgrrl, perhaps the second that Amber had ever seen in real life. "I didn't want to leave you alone, but your breathing was better and in spite of all my water you drank, I could hear your stomach rumbling. I brought lunch!" A netted bag hung at the shark's hip, attached to a thin leather belt.

And, apart from a delicate necklace, that was the only article that could even vaguely be considered clothing that she wore.

Amber's eyes were still huge, but with curiosity instead of terror. Well, mostly curiosity and a smidgen of terror. It was hard to tell from the distance and the waves breaking around the shark's legs, but the kitteh put her at better than seven feet tall, and eight feet was entirely possible. She was a glossy, almost silvery grey, with patterns of white on her belly and streaks of black just visible along her shoulders and thighs.

She was long and lean in the body, with broad powerful shoulders and muscular arms. Taking a single step forwards she seemed to slice through the air like a knife, every inch of her radiating strength and deadly speed, contrasting with the huge, black, kind eyes and friendly if well-toothed grin.

Amber would have realized all of this had she been able to take her eyes off of the most impressively spectacular, and naked, herm that she had ever seen in her life, except for the occasional glance in the mirror.

The sharkgrrl's breasts were proportionally considerably larger than her own, though not quite as immense as Cindy's, a heavy and remarkably buoyant armful that rose and fell like the ocean, midnight black nipples swaying hypnotically. Below her tapered waist, where the white of her belly came to a point, her sac was remarkably similar in size, shape and color. Amber was a little proud to see, in that regard at least, she far outclassed the shark.

"Are you ok?" the shark asked, tilting her head with concern.

Amber didn't really hear, her eyes were still following the trickling water droplets down the sharkgrrl's body. Those sleek silvery balls glinted in the sunlight, but they were definitely eclipsed by an ebon black, sheathless shaft that swung several inches beyond her own knees, so thick it seemed even more disproportionate than did Amber's own girth.

"Eeaauugghh?" Amber quavered.

The sharkgrrl walked slowly the rest of the way out of the water, revealing surprisingly delicate little webbed feet. Just from this brief look, Amber could picture her taking gold in every swimming competition at the Olympics, although she had to wonder just how much drag that well-filled front would create.

"Are you still not feeling well?" The shark moved closer and knelt just off to one side, out of arm's reach. "Are you hungry? Or still thirsty? I caught some fish!"

The kitteh realized that the netted bag at the shark's hip was wiggling and bouncing, flashing fins and scales visible within. Her fur felt like it weighed a ton, the situation getting stranger and stranger by the moment, disorienting her. Her mortification at being seen naked and in such an advanced size warred with her crazy fascination with the sharkgrrl's phenomenal body, and forcing its way between these two thoughts was the reminder that her stomach had contained nothing but seawater, and apparently regular water, for who knew how long. She was used to three square meals in the morning, three in the afternoon and three in the evening. Plus snacks.

"Th-thank you," Amber breathed, trying to keep her eyes somewhere safe and PG-13, even though she'd spent the better part of the last minute checking out all of the X-rated bits. Earlier words filtered through, and her ears perked up. "Did you rescue me?"

Sitting casually with one knee up, lap filled with sea-slicked flesh, the shark's bashful little headfin-scratch was doubly incongruous. "I guess so," she said slowly, her voice remarkably high and girlish despite her size. "I was people-watching you and your class, and the storm came up, so I was just going to chill out with some wave-riding, and... well, you almost landed on my head."

"TEETH!" Amber squeaked, flashing back to the half-remembered impressions after her tumble overboard.

The sharkgrrl giggled, exposing more, larger and sharper teeth than even Amber possessed. "Yeah, that was me. When I finally managed to get you above the water, you took one look at me and screamed and passed out. It's weird, I've never seen anyone keep screaming after they're unconscious..."

Amber's jaw dropped. "Sorry, I didn't mean to scream... well, ok, I probably did, but I was a little freaked out, and I'd NEVER have screamed if I knew you were trying to help, and it's just that I've never met a shark before, I saw one once on the street but she was totally covered in winter clothing even though it wasn't that cold, so I guess you guys, er, you girls, er, you grrls need to stay warm all the time, which probably explains why you're totally bare-balls naked right now because it's really warm on this beach, and I'm probably rambling..."

The shark smiled politely as Amber trailed off into nothingness, and for several long moments the only sound was the sea sucking gently at the beach, and the fading sounds of slippery flip-flopping from the bag of fish.

"So... what's your name?" Amber said, trying to recover some aplomb.

"Oh!" the shark said, seeming taken aback by the question. "My name's Jade," she said, fiddling with a necklace that just barely reached the inviting depths of her cleavage. Amber felt bad that she'd examined her breasts in such detail and somehow missed the gorgeous piece of emerald-green jewellery.

"I'm Amber," the kitteh said, hesitantly holding out her paw. "Uhm... thanks for saving me."

Jade leaned forward and reached out, impossibly perky bosom pressing against her own nethers and spreading out in all directions. "Pleased to meet you," she said, shaking the paw with her unexpectedly warm fingers.

More silence. Amber looked around, pursing her lips. What the hell do I say in this situation? She's naked! Like, REALLY naked! And huge! "So... where are we?"

Jade was on her feet in a flash, startling Amber and causing her to once again try and dig herself backwards into the sand. "This is my place!" Jade said excitedly. "Can I show you around? I never get guests here!"

Yeah, that's not suspicious at all, Amber thought nervously. "Uhm... okay?" She sat on the beach, tail still floofed up in terror, and eyed herself critically. "Uhm... can you help me up?"

"Why?"

Amber goggled. "Why...? Really? Why? I'm..." Not wanting to get into the ins and outs of precisely why it was difficult for a feline who was more than 50% hermness by weight to stand under her own power, she sighed. "My legs are just still really weak."

"OH! Of course! Sorry!" Towering over her, Amber's eyes were level with the shark's knees due to her reclined position, and once momentum reasserted itself she was eye-level with a sleek, streamlined but still breathtakingly thick cock. The kitteh's eyes crossed when two powerful hands gripped her shoulders and hauled her effortlessly to her feet. "There you go!"

"Th-thanks," Amber mewed.

"No problem! I know land-legs can be exhausted after a long time in the water. It's kind of reassuring, though! I was worried it was because your balls were so big! They weren't that big when you still had your land-clothes on."

Both of Amber's ears shot up, which was rare; normally her left ear was perpetually flopped over. "Hah. Yeah. Well, with my legs so weak, that's sort of the reason..." She glanced down at herself, which was safer than staring openly at Jade's healthy curves, two of which were nearly brushing against her whiskers. The feline had to lean back in order to counterbalance herself. What I wouldn't give for a wheelbarrow right now!

"Oh, I'm so sorry," Jade said, putting a hand to her thin lips. "I know land people usually don't get that big, but to be so big you can't walk? That's rough, Amber!"

Amber was on very uneven footing, and it had nothing to do with the sand. This sharkgrrl was being friendly. Very friendly. EXTREMELY friendly. Most of the people in Freeport hadn't been quite this friendly, even the ones who kept glancing at her skirts and smirking. She felt bad for feeling so awkward around someone who was so earnestly concerned, but the nudity and imposing size was adding several extra confusing dimensions.

"Yeah, it's tricky," she said softly, stretching out her legs, trying to suppress the urge to cover her breasts with one arm. Why should I cover up? She's already seen everything, and when am I going to get the chance to be naked on a beach? "So, where's your place?"

"The whole island!"

Amber winced. I was afraid of that. "A whole island to yourself? That's kind of cool..."

"Yeah, it's sort of run in the family for, oh, I dunno, two hundred years or so?" Jade fell into an easy patter, reminding Amber of the Freeport Museum tour guides. The sharkgrrl started to walk along the beach, clockwise away from the rocky promontory, glancing back to make sure the stranded kitteh was following. "Never had to worry about sharing it with land people. It's pretty much supported by an atoll, anything bigger than a wooden shack just sort of falls over."

"Mmmm," Amber nodded, slowly getting up to speed. She'd gained several inches in girth and several pounds up front since her last attempt at ambulating along the beach, but she found that she was still fairly mobile as long as she moved her hips properly. She'd taken several steps towards her pile of possessions, wanting to retrieve her skirt, but one glance at her new friend and she changed her mind. "Hey, wait up!"

On the brief trip around the island, which turned out to be less than a third of a mile across (that's about forty acres, Amber thought, surprised at her ability to do math outside of a school), Jade recounted the events of the previous evening. The sharkgrrl enjoyed tailing boats, observing the land people and learning about them. Families on houseboats, teenagers on speedboats, executives on fishing boats, it didn't matter. She was fascinated by the complex social structures of the dry world.

"It's not that fascinating," Amber groused. "High school is pretty much like gang warfare without all the diplomacy. You're probably lucky you don't have all that drama in your life."

"Drama?" Jade queried. "Like television?"

"No. Well, sort of. Yeah. Sometimes. Not a very good television show. Some people like you and act like they don't, some people hate you and act like they don't, some people are indifferent and act like they like you or hate you because they don't want to seem indifferent, and everyone tells everyone everything about everyone else, whether it's true or not."

They walked in silence, until Jade simply replied, "Oh."

Amber sighed. "Ok, ok, ok, it's not THAT bad, it's just... exhausting. We want to be like the grownups, but no-one knows how, and everyone has different ideas of what it's like. It's kinda chaotic. Uhm... imagine a herd of fish all trying to go one direction, but everyone wants to be in the front."

"School."

"Yeah."

"No, I mean, it's a school of fish, not a herd."

"Really?" Amber giggled. "Wow. How apt is THAT. Wow. A school of fish. That's us. Uhm... speaking of the boat... can I ask a question?"

"Of course!" Jade's smile was so open and inviting, it was hard for Amber to think of her as an eight-foot-tall remorseless eating machine.

"Uhm... and don't get me wrong, and don't think I'm not GRATEFUL, but... why didn't you bring me back to the boat, instead of here?"

So many little things happened to the sharkgrrl at once, it was hard to read any of them. Her eyes widened, she frowned and blushed, her tail lashed and wrapped around her legs, and she seemed to slouch into herself even as her fins straightened. What the hell does THAT mean? Amber thought.

"Well," Jade said slowly, "your boat was heading north at top speed, trying to get out of the storm. The only way I could have followed fast enough was to go completely underwater, and... well, you land-critters need air. We were only six or seven miles from my here."

She seemed so disheartened, Amber didn't have it in her to press the issue any further. "Then I'm glad," she said reassuringly. "This is like a tropical vacation for me! I gotta tell you, this is WAY more fun than the boat. And they'll be looking for me, for sure. My dad's... my dad's something with the government, I know he'll be on the case."

"The government?"

"Yeah! The people that run the country. Well, they think they do. They mostly argue about who runs it. Come to think of it, it's sort of like high school, only with millionaires."

"Gosh," the sharkgrrl said. "We don't really have that. Countries and stuff. We're all just... here."

"Don't you have any social structures?" Amber asked, then winced. "Sorry, that sounded a little more condescending than I meant."

Jade just giggled, a peculiar sound from such a cavernous chest, and fiddled with her necklace again. "Not... really. My mom left when I was old enough to fend for myself. It was a pretty cool month when she was around, though." Amber coughed, but the statuesque herm seemed not to notice. "There's some communal aquatowns a little west of here, and a big one to the south, but I never really fit in well there. Mostly mammals, you know."

"Dolphins and... and killer whales and stuff?"

"They prefer orcans, but yeah. My kind isn't traditionally very social outside of family, and in a lot of cases within, either." Jade sighed, sounding like a train letting off steam. "You landpeople always seemed more fun! Wanna know what one of my earliest memories is?"

To her surprise, Amber found she did. She nodded, trying hard to keep her hands at her sides rather than trying to cover her body, which at this stage was about as effective as using a fig leaf.

"Mardi Gras. I was practicing doing backflips in the bay at Freeport one evening, and the sky just LIT UP with fireworks. I'd seen them from far away before, but this time... this time they were all going off all around me, just above the water." Jade's voice took on a faraway, dreamy tone. "So many colors, the flashes, the noise, the screams and cheers from the piers... I just wanted to be part of that world."

"You got legs, hun," Amber said, falling easily into the role of 'irritatingly supportive friend'. "Nice ones, too. Not everyone might be ready for a bod like yours, but trust me, if I can make it there, you're fine."

Jade frowned, a frightening sight with those teeth. "I don't really get out there that much. Out of the water, I mean."

"Mrr? Why not? You're doing good right now."

The shark was fiddling with the jade necklace now so hard it rattled like a snake. "They don't like me walking around in the daytime there, because I'm naked, and at night it's too cold. I can only make it a couple minutes." She sighed, magnificent breasts somehow rising to even perkier heights. "Clothes don't really help, since I don't make enough body heat, and I can't really bring any with me, and I don't have any money that they want without arguing or making a fuss to buy some. I have to stay in the water and just sort of... watch."

Amber nodded slowly, digesting that and turning it over in her mind. Already they had circled the island and were approaching the shattered line of rocks that stretched from the middle of the island a considerable distance out into the water, terminating at what looked like a single, lonely, slanted tree. "That is a bit of a problem," she said softly. "I didn't know you were cold-blooded. Er! I mean... uhm... exothermic? I'm not trying to be offensive, I swear!"

Jade was giggling, though, shoulders shaking. "Don't worry, you're probably not going to offend me. I've heard all the sharkist comments, and I know what you're actually trying to say. I'm good on the beach here, but even when it's warm I need to get back in the water pretty soon." She twisted slightly, giving the kitteh a much better view of her tail, rump and dorsal fin. "See the gills?"

When she managed to tear her eyes away from the sleek, tight rump, Amber nodded. "Yeah, that's... kind of neat, actually!"

"They're already drying out, so I might go for a dip in a second. Want me to leave the fish with you?"

"Uhm... yeah, sure. Do you have any way to cook them?"

Jade blinked in a manner that seemed vaguely unnerving to the feline. "Cook? Like, fire?"

"Y... yes?"

The shark frowned. "Uhm. Hmmm. Never tried that before. I might have something in my lair? I'll check while I'm down there, ok?" She pointed towards the end of the trail of craggy boulders, where what turned out to be a flagpole jutted from the waves maybe a dozen feet beyond the final visible mound. "Be right back?"

"Wait, lair?" Amber's legs were burning with the exertion, a one-mile trek in shifting sands at a size that would cause panic if she found herself indoors, and she gratefully plunked her butt down on a nearby rock. Jade, though, long legs carrying her like a leaping gazelle, was already knee-deep in the water and a moment later slipped like a dagger beneath the waves.

She glanced down and nudged at the bag of fish with her toe. They were thick and colorful and she doubted they were anything even close to the sort of fish she'd eaten before. "At least they're fresh," she had to chuckle.

Without Jade's constant chatter, the tiny islet was almost eerily silent. Normally faint sounds that might have gone unnoticed in her regular life became enormously amplified; the soughing of the breeze through the palm fronds behind her, the tiny ripples splashing against the line of crumbled rock, a single bird twirling and diving above her, occasionally cawing.

Amber leaned back slightly, stretching out her limbs and once again critically examining her nethers. She was... well, she sometimes puttered around the house this big, wearing only her supersized housecoat, and only if her dad wasn't home. It was good practice for her, improving her balance and her self-control, but being so swollen and so unconcerned was new, and definitely enjoyable.

One hand massaged her sheath, which was still tightly packed and stretched out well beyond double her normal size, and she tried to compare herself to Jade. The sharkgrrl was spectacularly hourglassed, silvery breasts and balls that wouldn't be out of place in a niche TubePorn video... but that cock...

"Showoff," Amber pouted, giving herself a few gropes. If that was as small as Jade could get, she might be the most magnificent specimen Amber had ever heard of, and if she was a grower... her mind boggled at the thought. It was bigger around than the kitteh's thigh, and nearly as long as her entire leg. How fair was that?

One claw tickled and teased at her base, the pressure rising slowly but steadily, anchoring muscles and tendons swelling within her and angling her legs a tiny bit farther apart. "Mmmmf," she grunted, forcing herself to stop, balling up her paws and holding them at her hips. "This is not a competition. This is NOT a competition!"

Her sheath twitched once, as though to say Hey, what about me? but she ignored it. "Damn hormones," she muttered, standing up and wincing at the extra weight. She knew she was going to have to relieve some pressure before she was rescued, or suffer through a lot of weird stares and questions. Could she get any privacy from Jade?

Amber was standing a short ways away from the rocks, very slowly performing some yoga positions to loosen up some tight spots, when Jade emerged from the water, fin breaking the surface quite a distance out. The kitteh did not hide her fascination this time, watching inch after inch after dripping inch of towering shark-herm appear.

She only remembered to blink when Jade stopped in front of her once again, and Amber realized she was still in a partial Downward Dog, her eyes once again level with that immense black shaft. She squeaked and straightened up, staring up at Jade's beaming expression.

"Will this help?" she asked, holding out a small, silvery square.

Amber took the little chrome lighter and opened it up, not surprised to see a puddle of water leak all over her paw. She flicked it a few times, but was not rewarded with an unexpected flame. "Uhm... I think this might have been underwater for a little too long," she said with a small smile.

Jade frowned again, eyes growing even bigger, reminding Amber of an anime character. "Oh, I'm sorry... it's pretty wet down there, I don't really keep things sorted all that well... I don't have many land-people around here, I forgot you usually like to cook things..."

Her upper lip wobbled, and Amber was taken aback. This grrl could probably rip one of these trees out of the ground, she's got half a million teeth and she saved me from a surprise hurricane... and a wet lighter is bringing her to tears? She reached out and squeezed Jade's hand, only the second time she had touched her rescuer. "Oh, it's ok," she said, her stomach rumbling at being denied. "I'll figure something out."

Jade sniffled, her sleek, rubbery skin already nearly dry, revealing an incredibly miniscule and detailed patina of tiny scales. "I have a lot more stuff down there, if you want to come have a look," she said softly, her tail swaying back and forth behind her and setting up sympathetic pendulous motions with her colossal shaft. "There's some air down there."

Amber frowned. "Define 'some'..."

The two grrls were standing about thirty feet out into the water, surface just shy of Amber's rump and hardly even mid-thigh for the shark. Jade's expression was open and earnest, almost pleading, gesturing for the feline to keep going.

"It's all right! You float, you'll be fine, and I'll guide you!"

Amber's oversized, fluffy fists shook as she tried to calm her nerves. She really did want to go out into the water and see Jade's lair, which the towering seagrrl had described as 'woody' and 'kind of green', but the memory of the ocean swallowing her up was too fresh in her mind.

That, and with the current level of the water, her sac was bobbing and swaying and tugging merrily back and forth, and every playful splash of the waves seemed to be trying to massage her in a very familiar, intimate fashion. She didn't want to admit to herself how good it felt, and it was only the refreshingly cool temperature of the water that was keeping her from an embarrassing incident.

Jade frowned, causing the points of a dozen teeth to appear near her cheeks. "It's all right. You don't need to go down there," she said reassuringly. "I'm sure I can find something to make a fire, or... cook stuff. Does it have to be fire? Will it cook if you just leave it in the sun? Can you start a fire with magnifying glasses? I think I read that somewhere..."

Amber shook her head, smiling ruefully. "No no, I can do this! I don't want to have to wait until I'm so hungry that I eat RAW fish! I... er, no offense..."

The shark smiled, a slightly terrifying sight. "None taken! I know you landfurs aren't used to food fighting back," she said plainly, though without any apparent smugness.

"Er... yeah..." Amber knew her feline ancestors, even just a half-dozen generations back, probably caught their own food in the most truly old-school way possible, but she still couldn't bring herself to try it. It was getting harder and harder for her to even eat chicken, knowing how many avian species worked just at her school! "I know you're gonna pull me, I'm just... not sure I can hold my breath that long."

The shark paused her tugging, patting at her nude bosom thoughtfully. "Good point. Your lungs are awfully small..."

Amber glanced down at her chest and was about to get upset, but she quite literally bit her tongue. Maybe she doesn't know exactly where my lungs are, she thought. And I don't really think I want to show her. She might get ideas.

"May-"

Amber's reply, whatever it was about to be, was cut off when she was hauled effortlessly into the sea, vanishing below the waves with a choked-off mewl of terror.

Once her enormous eyes adjusted to the water streaming over her face, and she confirmed that Jade hadn't dislocated her shoulder with that sudden yank, the underwater world would have elicited an awed gasp if doing so wouldn't have caused a very painful, watery death. "Bllbrrbb," she managed, as the landscape slowly wavered into focus.

Standing waist-deep, the sea had been a fairly featureless green, with a tumbling trail of broken rocks stretching out into the water off to one side. Pulled beyond the dropoff and being torpedoed into a hundred feet of crystal-clear open water was like being transported to an alien world.

The reach of cracked boulders here was a majestic mountainside covered in a rainbow of anemones and sea laces. Seen from below, the regular and relaxing waves became a gorgeously-textured sky of aquamarine crystals, dappling the seafloor in patterns of light and shadow. A dozen, a hundred kinds of fish of all sizes twinkled and twirled in zero gravity, though all of them moving uniformly away from Jade.

When Amber finally turned her eyes to the sharkgrrl giving her the terrifying, wonderful ride, the view was nearly as impressive.

With one arm slung back, dragging the herm-heavy feline like a fuzzy sack of potatoes, Amber's head was next to Jade's muscular, powerfully-swaying tail, the statuesque sharkgrrl still managing to move as gracefully as a dainty prima ballerina. Every part of her body was moving in perfect harmony, and Amber didn't know how she could have ever wondered if those immense assets would ever slow her down.

Swaying wetly back and forth, Jade's tremendously full breasts seemed quite hydrodynamic, her legs splayed wide to give her silvery sac enough room to do the same. From Amber's trailing perspective, the sharkgrrl's glossy black shaft seemed to be waving to her, beckoning her to come closer, to reach out and touch it...

Her ears popped and she winced, suddenly aware of the steadily-growing pressure on her chest. Blurry blackness seemed to trickle in at the edge of her vision. Her other limbs were plastered back against her body, her nethers pulling awkwardly at her groin as Jade only seemed to accelerate. The waves seemed terrifyingly far above their heads, their trajectory taking them in a wide arc down and around the multicolored rockslide.

Amber tugged on Jade's wrist, but she might as well have tried to pull on a tree trunk. She tried to twist and torque her body, but the flow and drag of the water was too much for her to fight against. Her lungs burned and screamed, and she was horrified to find her jaw twitching, reflexively trying to open and draw one very, very final breath.

Come on, hyper-strength! Where the hell are you when I actually NEED you?!

She would have smacked herself on the forehead were the situation not so dire upon realizing that she was still a cat. She unsheathed her claws and unhesitatingly sank them into Jade's forearm, not trying to draw blood but definitely not wanting to be overlooked!

The sharkgrrl stopped with such alacrity that Amber ended up ploughing into her like a cyclist into a brick wall, arms and legs and nethers jumbled together in a heap. Finding the crushing resistance mostly gone, she began to thrash towards the surface, desperately hoping Jade would get the hint.

Jade didn't.

Dragging her slowly down like an anchor, the well-filled sharkgrrl drifted deeper and deeper, tugging the frantic feline closer. Jade's mouth opened, those endless teeth gleaming like pearls in the indistinct light, eyes widening and rolling back to show the whites.

Fuckfuckfuckfuckfuckfuckfuckfuckfuckfuckfuckfuckfuck...!

The shark tensed and struck, slamming into Amber like a soft, pillowy truck. The pair tumbled through the water, head over heels over tails. Amber tried to fight her off, feeling those powerful arms slipping around her shoulders and her neck, and she couldn't stifle the scream when she saw those teeth mere inches from her eyes. All of her exhausted air exploded from her, surrounding her head in a storm of bubbles, Jade's sleek head moving through them for the kill.

The kill, as it turned out, was in the form of a kiss, most of Amber's muzzle covered by the carnivore's lips. Her lungs, now completely empty, reflexively tried to inhale, the autonomic function that doomed so many drowning land-furs, and she found she had still more capacity for surprise when Jade exhaled, providing her with a fresh lungful.

The hyperventilation continued for several more seconds and several more breaths, Jade giving and receiving with ease as the twined grrls slowly stopped their chaotic rotation. Amber's mind slowly calmed, coming to grips with the strange situation.

Ok... Jade is a scuba tank. This is kind of... neat...

Amber had watched a lot of Discovery Channel, and expected the inside of her new friend to smell like baby seals and dead surfers, but the reality couldn't have been more surprising.

Cinnamon?

When Amber inhaled next, Jade's tender embrace suddenly loosened and the submarine feline clamped her mouth shut with a snap that frightened a nearby school of fish. With exaggerated slowness and care, Jade broke the kiss of life, pulling back and staring earnestly into Amber's huge eyes.

Are you ok? the sharkgrrl seemed to ask.

Amber nodded hesitantly, one paw moving to her chest and squeezing. I think so, she tried to mime, feeling the immense weight on her ribcage but feeling confident that she wouldn't die in the next ten seconds. She gestured with her head to the end of the rocky projection. Keep going? Small lungs!

OK! Jade nodded happily, relief plain on her face.

As though there had been no near-death experiences a moment before, the sharkgrrl spun on a dime and resumed her missile-like trajectory, dragging Amber like so much detritus. Her chest still ached and the pressure mounting above her was still climbing, but she at least knew that Jade wasn't luring her to her untimely demise.

Probably.

The pressure, she also came to realize, wasn't that bad when compared to some other experiences of her life. Pinned beneath Luis while he, ah, endured her love was probably considerably more weight than this, and being trapped by Cindy's rondure was also likely greater, as well. It helped to calm her fears that she could not only endure, but create, more dangerous stresses than the ocean could produce.

The words 'produce' and 'ocean' kept her imagination amused long enough for the pair to reach the tip of the rocky ridge, right where the gently sloping sea floor suddenly dropped away at a much steeper angle. Amber felt a sudden pang of terror at the un- fathomable (hah!) enormity of the undersea environment, but Jade's path tugged her down and around to the sandy, seaweed-crowded ledge and the feline suddenly understood the sharkgrrl's confusing description of her lair.

Any recognizable paint or lettering had long since been obliterated by the erosive forces of the subtropical seas, but the old broad-bodied galleon was in remarkably good shape considering its obvious age. It looked as though, on approach to the island, it had suddenly veered downwards at a forty-five degree angle and slammed nose-first into the base of the rocky ridge, a splintered and mouldering hole in the keel big enough to fit the Gipsy Danger through.

And sure enough, the one remaining intact mast protruded upwards, vanishing beyond the waves high above their head. Well, that explains a lot!

Amber's lungs were starting to scream in protest again, but she strained to hold on just a little bit more, putting her faith in Jade. The pair sluiced through the dark azure waters, darting through the gaping hole in the ship's hull, and into the inky blackness within.

The sudden blindness was too much, though, and the feline skipped back into panic mode with a flurry of claws and thrashing. Her muzzle opened and she wailed, garbled roaring soon giving way to watery, echoing screams.

When she finally realized that the sounds were reaching her ears through air and not water, she slowed her frenzied motions until she was simply floating motionless, listening to the waves dying away around her.

"H... huh," she said breathlessly once she had calmed yet again, bobbing up and down in the darkness. She sniffed at the air and was immediately assaulted by an almost overwhelmingly organic smell, reminding her of the sauna-like botanical gardens her parents enjoyed subjecting her to. "At least... there's air..."

There was turbulence in the water around her, forcing her gently backwards, and that cinnamon smell washed over her again. "Are you ok?" Jade asked from very, very nearby. "I didn't want to touch you or say anything when you started screaming. Your claws are sharp!"

Amber blushed sheepishly. "Sorry, I didn't mean to, like, gouge you or anything. I was just really, really out of air, and... thanks for rescuing me. Again," she finished softly, wondering just how close the sharkgrrl was. "I need scuba gear for next time."

"Oh, I've seen those! Underwater land-critters usually freak out when they see me, so I try not to get too close. All that air in those metal tubes? Is that safe?" The echoes were throwing off Amber's sense of volume and perspective, but it was as though Jade was whispering into her ear.

"Yeah, it's... it's safe," the feline said weakly, extending her paws under the pretense of treading water, hoping to make contact with her new friend. "Uhm. How much air do I have before I need to go back up?"

"There's kind of a lot of it in here! Do you think it will be enough?"

"Enough for what? I can't really tell how much there is!"

"You can't? But... OH! I'm such an idiot," Jade hissed crossly. "I forgot, you're a land critter, your eyes don't work right. Hold on, let me just... just get to the edge here... one second..." Amber heard the splashing slowly move away from her, a great deal more paddling than she had expected. It sounded like Jade was crossing a full-sized swimming pool. The galleon was enormous, far larger than she would have guessed a centuries-old vessel to be, but there couldn't be THAT much air after all these years, could there?

There was a wet slapping noise, a heavy thump, and then a new, rhythmic swishing noise. "There we go, one second, let me just wake them up," Jade called, sounding as though she were at the bottom of a well, though the echoing was distorting everything.

"Wake who up?" Amber called nervously.

From the direction of the splashing, a greenish glow slowly grew. It spread outwards like ripples in a pond, except it seemed to be spreading vertically. She acquired a sense of scale when the greenish haze limned Jade's unmistakable body, her hourglass silhouette sending tingles through Amber's loins.

"It takes a little bit of time for them to really get going," Jade explained, as though glowing walls were perfectly normal. She sat perched on a wooden beam, splashing water onto the green, intertwining mosses that had taken over nearly every surface inside the ancient vessel. "They usually do this on their own when the tides roll in, especially on full moons. I always wondered how they know the moon is full, way down here..."

Jade stopped splashing, but the luminous plants continued to light up, responding to those around them. The general illumination within the belly of the galleon increased until Amber was forced to actually squint slightly, having grown accustomed to the total lack of light. Blues and pinks were scattered through the aquamarine plantlife, and before long surrounded her on all sides, some patches even extending below the surface of the water and lighting her nethers rather flatteringly.

"Gosh," Amber purred, astounded by Jade's domain. She spun in a lazy circle, taking in the immensity of the galleon's hollowed-out belly, heavy beams and spars and... and even more beams criss-crossing at odd angles, all of the lesser planking having long since rotted away. She wished she knew more synonyms for heavy wooden members, considering how often she referred to her own anatomy with such terms. "It's... big..."

"I bet you hear that a lot," Jade said into Amber's ear.

"AUGH!" Amber squeaked, splashing in startlement. "Wha-... you're sneaky when you want to be!"

Jade giggled, moving back slightly, a tremendous amount of mirror-smooth cleavage on display and lit up like glowsticks by the mosses. "You just kept spinning in circles, I wanted to make sure you were ok."

The brightest patches faded slightly as the plants seemed to relax, settling into a low, easy glow that they could keep up all day. Individually they cast very little light, but with thousands of them clinging to every exposed surface it was as bright as the moments just after sunset. "How is there even this much air?" Amber asked.

"The plants make it," Jade explained, inching closer once again. "Or they make part of it. I'm not really sure how plants do that. I sealed up all the cracks with the glow plants, and if the holes were too big I used wood and tree-sap, and they just kept filling up the inside of the boat with air. When I wanted more space, I'd bring down more air."

"Ship."

"What?"

"It's not a boat, it's a ship," Amber said absently. "It had three masts."

"Wow," Jade blinked. "Seems kind of weird I never knew that."

"I had to learn it. Safety first," Amber said wryly, laughing at the sharkgrrl's confused expression. "Long, boring story. Never mind. I just-... wait, you bring more air down? How?"

Jade inhaled enormously, her chest expanding markedly and Amber would have sworn her breasts got a couple sizes bigger, as well. "Lungs!" Jade said proudly, exhaling and propelling herself backwards.

"But... that has to take forever!"

Jade shrugged prettily. "I don't exactly have a busy life."

"Good point," Amber nodded, glancing down and blushing furiously. The glowing had spread well below the level of the water now, and the silhouette of Jade's body below the waist was not something she was going to be forgetting anytime soon. The warm water continued to prod and jostle her own oversized endowments, and she reflexively chewed her lip when she felt things start to wake up again. "So! Er... lighter?"

"Right!" Jade said, swishing past Amber, certain unseen parts of the sharkgrrl's body rubbing up against her own. "You probably want to stay down here in the water, you might have a hard time balancing."

"Why?" Amber asked, doggie-paddling after the swift aquatic herm.

Jade pointed up, where the curved wooden ribs and beams criss-crossed above their heads, and Amber noticed that they served as bridges between ledges and platforms. The sharkherm hauled herself out of the water, somehow managing not to thump any sensitive portions of her anatomy, and made for the nearest curving ramp. "Well, your legs are pretty small, compared to your... you know," she giggled, gesturing to her own proportionally smaller endowments. "And this is pretty slippery."

Amber would have protested, but by her third failed attempt at climbing out of the water and onto the glowing ledge, she had to admit that Jade was probably right. "Uhm... ok... I'll just... stay here, then," she grunted, sinking her claws into the old waterlogged wood and trying once more. Her sac, though, comprising more than half of her bodyweight, was proving to be too large of an obstacle.

Moving swiftly, almost like a ninja, Jade padded from beam to beam, moving ever higher into the cavernous belly of the galleon. She periodically stopped at different points, investigating what looked like piles of junk from Amber's perspective, but not finding whatever she was looking for.

"Sure I can't help?" the feline called, turning slightly sideways and working one leg up onto the ledge, trying a different angle of attack. "This place is cleaner than my bedroom, I can probably... urf... find stuff!"

Jade's voice bounced and echoed down to her from more than twenty feet overhead. "I'll bring a few things down! There's gotta be some things here that make fire! Maybe... ooo! This might be even better!"

Gritting her teeth, Amber dug the claws of her hands and feet into the ledge, willing those frustratingly uncooperative hyper muscles of hers to actually help out when she really needed it. Tensing herself and dragging with all of her might, she flipped herself sideways onto the ledge, coming to rest on her back, the overfilled bulk of her sac and sheath blocking out an upsettingly large amount of the glowing panorama.

"Hah! I made it!" she gasped, wriggling toes that were trapped somewhere beneath her balls. "Let me just try and... stand up... Jade? You still there?"

The only sounds were the gentle waves lapping at the sides of the eerie lagoon, moisture dripping in the distance, and the rhythmic creaking and flexing of the ancient vessel. Amber peered up through the aqua haze, more subtle details appearing in the lush vegetation, but could not find the sharkgrrl's unmistakable outline anywhere. She did finally notice that there were passages that led away from the main chamber; the omnipresent bioluminescence was making it very difficult for her.

"Hello?" she quavered, feeling suddenly very alone, trapped in an air bubble a hundred feet below the surface. Jade could get oxygen out of the water, but Amber had to wonder how much was available for her? She was a land-critter. She was quite attached to breathing. She did it nearly every day.

Amber struggled to her feet, the timbers beneath her creaking and squishing in protest. It was hard to tell in the strange, indirect glow just how big she had gotten, but the weight was staggering. "Really gonna have to blow off some steam soon," she muttered, taking a few tentative steps along the curving ledge.

She glanced back and gasped, seeing her incandescent footprints blazing behind her. The exotic mosses, far from being crushed underfoot, seemed to grow brighter from the slightest disturbance. A couple more dancing, hopping steps and there was a connect-the-dots trail piercing the faint blue-green carpet.

"I need to bring some of this stuff home," she giggled, taking a moment to draw her name on the wall.

"It doesn't work on the surface," Jade said from directly above her.

"AUGH!" Amber cried out, hunkering down and extending her claws reflexively. "You... NINJA! I swear!" She was laughing by the end, though, seeing the shock in the sharkgrrl's eyes.

Jade was kneeling on a beam just above the kitteh's head, holding another small netted bag in one hand. "Sorry! I found a couple more things that might help?" she said hopefully, stretching her arm out.

Amber took the sack and held it up to her eyes, trying to make out what was inside. It was a silvery jumble of objects, but two things in particular stood out. "Where do you get all this stuff?"

The sharkgrrl sprawled out on the narrow beam, and Amber had to avert her eyes when a considerable amount of glossy flesh spilled out in all directions. "Bottom of the ocean, mostly," she said nonchalantly. "Especially near the shoreline up near your cities. You land-critters drop a LOT of stuff in the water. I used to try and give it back, but no-one ever seemed to want it."

It was clear that a lot of what was in the bag was garbage of one kind or another, so it was no wonder that no-one wanted it back. Amber shrugged nervously. "Yeah, can't imagine," she fluttered. "A lot of people litter, but... I guess as long as you can find a use for it?"

Jade watched with interest as Amber opened the bag up. The dripping kitteh pulled out three crinkly rectangles, staring at them hungrily. "I think I love you now," she breathed, ripping the packaging completely off one of the peanut butter crunch Powerbars and stuffing the entire bar into her mouth. "Mmmfgh yggvh... vmrrrghhf mnuff."

The next two bars were eaten with slightly more care and decorum, and Amber was proud that she caught herself before she tossed the wrappers aside. She crinkled them up and put them back into the bag before searching through the rest of the items.

"So those were food!" Jade said happily. "I find a lot of stuff in wrappers floating on the surface, but those sink. It says high in protein, but they taste horrible. Er... to me, at least."

"Mmmmm, peanut butter," Amber purred, feeling so much more relaxed with the lead weight of high-density food in her belly. She licked the crumbs off of her muzzle with a satisfied sigh. "That will keep me going for another hour or two. Do you have any water down here? Peanut butter is rough without a drink."

Jade froze, rolling the question around in her mind. "Uhm..."

"I mean fresh water." The blank expression remained, so Amber wracked her brain. "Uhm... I mean, water without salt in it. Water that's not from the sea. Uhm... boy, there's a bit of a language barrier I never thought about before..."

"Oh, yeah! I've got quite a bit. I thought you were going to drink all of it, after I got you ashore. It was the only thing that calmed you down." The sharkgrrl shifted on the beam and started to lower herself down, and Amber politely averted her eyes from the rather naughty X-rated display.

"Is it back on the surface?" she asked, fiddling with the bag.

"You don't remember?"

"For some reason, nearly drowning and being dragged across the Gulf seems to have left some gaps in my memory," Amber said blithely.

Jade landed next to her, towering high above the diminutive kitteh and standing rather closer than she thought was entirely necessary. Radiantly illuminated by the glowing mosses, the sharkgrrl put Amber in mind of an angel, although one as far removed from purity and chastity as could be imagined. "Don't land-critters feed their children that way? I'm pretty sure I heard that somewhere."

Amber's eyes slid from Jade's open, innocent expression to where the sharkgrrl's hands were rather lewdly caressing the polished flesh of her breasts.

"Uhm... you mean..."

"You were hungry! I thought I was going to run out," Jade giggled, a few milky droplets budding from her plump black nipples.

The hyper-kitteh took a sudden step back, raising her hands defensively. Despite the instant irrational reaction of disgust, she was unable to stop herself from licking her lips, wondering exactly what she'd done while unconscious. "Er... I... uhm... I don't suppose there's any... uh... OTHER water..." she said quickly, trying to collect her thoughts and failing miserably.

Jade's expression fell and she stepped back as well. "Sorry," she said. "I'm never sure what's taboo or not. I thought this seemed, well... natural..."

"No, I'm sorry!"

"I'm sorry."

"No, don't be, it's..."

"You don't need to be..."

The waters of the lagoon swept back and forth, tiny ripples licking at the galleon's timbers. Droplets trickled and plopped and echoed in the distance. Every time there seemed to be the danger of eye contact, both grrls suddenly found the glowing mosses very, very engrossing.

"So..."

"Uhm..."

The other items in the bag were interesting, but sadly not flame-producing. There was a magnifying glass with a mouldering wooden handle, a pair of thin-rimmed spectacles that were bent like a paperclip, a heavy necklace with an enormous blue crystal, and a laser pointer that probably hasn't worked since before Amber was born.

Jade picked up on the body language. "No good?" she pouted.

Amber reached up and out and pat Jade's hand. "No worries," she said reassuringly. "Maybe I can have a look at stuff up there?"

Dubiousness was plain on the sharkgrrl's face. "Uhm... are you sure? Your legs..."

Amber shook her head, water droplets flying everywhere. "Trust me, I've been bigger than this before. Maybe just give me a hoist up?"

Jade's eyes widened so much the whites showed once more, glowing like fluorescents in the moss-light. "Bigger...?" she said, with an entirely different type of disbelief. She held out her hand once more, though, and helped Amber awkwardly clamber up onto the beam, the massive wooden timber creaking under her weight.

The feline's Downward Dog yoga position was suddenly very useful as it was nearly the exact shape she ended up in, hands and feet outstretched and forming an awkward pyramid framing her sac. She took a deep breath, dug in with her toes and pushed herself back, eventually righting herself with her arms raised triumphantly overhead.

"Whew!" she giggled. "I wasn't one hundred percent sure that was going to work!"

Jade was staring up at her, hands on hips, one immaculate eyebrow arched. "I'm still not sure I believe what just happened, but... ok then! You land-critters are resourceful, I'll give you that."

Amber shrugged. "We don't have the natural advantage of being all floaty in the water all the time. Gravity is a harsh mistress."

"Huh," Jade agreed thoughtfully, climbing nimbly up. "Well then! Let me show you around!"

The hyper-kitteh had to start slowly, gingerly taking baby steps while she got the hang of balancing on the foot-wide beams, but after a few minutes and a few elevation changes she was doing her ancestral jungle-dwellers proud. Looking down still caused her eyes to roll back in her head and her stomach to flip-flop, but her oversized paws remained steady and centered.

"This is the main part of it," Jade was saying, gesturing around to the enormous glowing lair. "This is where I just sort of dump stuff until I can sort it. The first time I really got the water level to drop, I uncovered a side passage way up there, and nearly blew out the hull, but I got pretty good at sealing all the leaks after that. Now there's... uhm, I don't know... there's a whole lot of rooms now."

They reached the first substantial landing, a crazily canted platform of heavy timbers jutting awkwardly out of the angled wall. Glowing mosses squished underfoot, long tendrils dangling overhead. Two more beams stretched off into the distance, but Jade ducked her head and vanished into a side passage that Amber hadn't even noticed.

Amber poked her head into the corridor, the mosses here far fewer in number. Jade disappeared around another corner, her tail becking the kitteh to follow. "Come on," the sharkgrrl called, voice already muffled and indistinct. "You might find something in here!"

Amber followed, chewing her lip nervously and trying not to thump her nethers against the sides of the narrow passage. Water trickled down the walls and flowed between her toes, and she was reminded yet again that she was a long ways beneath the surface of the sea, and the lair was by no means waterproof. The passage made several other awkward turns in the gloom, each step eliciting a creak and a groan from the ancient, waterlogged vessel.

"Maybe I should have stayed in the wat-..." she was saying when she rounded one last corner, and all of her breath whooshed out as though she were still being crushed by the undersea pressure.

Jade was kneeling by one of the haphazard piles, tossing glinting items over her shoulders with dull plinks and clonks of dense metal on metal. "Nope... nope... nope... I keep all my heavy stuff down here on the lower levels, and this stuff is REALLY heavy. Maybe you can find a fire-making machine in here?"

The greenish glow from the mosses here was a peculiar rainbow, running from yellow to orange to olive to emerald with a hundred hues in between she couldn't even name. It was obvious that the bulk of the room's cargo had simply been shoved out of the way to make room for new additions. Amber's attention had settled upon the incongruity of a very familiar-looking Bunn coffee machine sticking out of a pile of gleaming gold coins.

"Th... this is all yours?" she croaked, trying and failing to summon her mathematical skills to calculate how much treasure must be present. Gold coins, gold rings, necklaces and tiaras and bracelets studded with an unearthly panoply of cut and polished gemstones. Mixed into the breathtaking display were old appliances, anchors, powertools, chunks of fibreglass hull and the occasional item of furniture.

"Yeah! Pretty cool, eh?" Jade said, holding up a blemished bronze wall clock in the shape of a carp. "I almost missed this, only the tip was sticking out of the mud!"

Amber moved deeper into the room, coins shifting under her toes. They were larger than a quarter, and substantially thicker, with more than half a dozen different designs stamped into them. There was an unmistakable air of age surrounding the mounds, and she had to wonder what the value could be even estimated at, taking the antiquity into account.

She gingerly picked up a coronet that seemed to have been spun from silver and gold threads, nearly weightless in her paws. It was a little bent from rough handling, and there were distinct smudges of glowing moss blackening the silver, but it was still far more splendid and grandiose than anything she'd ever seen at the Circe jewellers.

Jade tilted her head slightly. "Are you purring?"

"What? No! Me? What! No? Me! What?"

The sharkgrrl grinned and giggled. "Is it a good purr? You can have that, if you want. I've got more, and most of these just fall off when I go in the water."

"I... can have..."

"Sure! It actually matches your fur, almost. That's really pretty."

Amber glanced down at her cream-and-gold fur, still slicked wet against her body, slowly pressing the coronet against her bosom. She couldn't pretend it wasn't valuable, and she couldn't lie to such a wonderful and kind-hearted person. "You do know this stuff is valuable, right? Like... REALLY valuable. Like... holy shit, winning the lottery is nothing compared to this. Right?"

Jade nodded. "Yeah, I figured that out. Sometimes I'll swim up to Freeport or the other coastal towns and toss bits and pieces onto the beach, and then watch people find them. They always seem SO HAPPY. I figure it'll take me years to get through all of these rooms, though."

The kitten froze. "Rooms?"

There ended up being six more chambers loaded with treasure, and Jade had indeed done a measure of sorting. One entire room was armor and weapons, and another was a confusing and disorienting collection of gold-framed mahogany-backed mirrors. Mixed in with no regard for economic value, which Amber thought was sort of touching, was a pretty broad cross-section of modern technology, but sadly none of it had really survived the descent to the ocean floor.

Higher up in the various chambers, which had likely been storage rooms and staterooms when the galleon was in use, the possessions became marginally more useful, albeit far more interesting. There were books dating from the latest round of holiday bestsellers to vellum tomes filled with archaic poetry, and even an entire room dedicated to bibles.

"This place is incredible," Amber said reverently, following behind Jade as they ascended. "It's like a museum, and a time capsule, and Fort Cox all rolled into one! You could charge admission to, like, scientists and stuff!" She fingered the thin gold chain that hung around her neck, another nonchalant gift from her new friend. The coronet was perched between her ears, and every time they passed a reflective surface she was compelled to pause and admire herself.

Jade shrugged, leading the kitteh out onto another beam, the lair's lagoon more than fifty feet below them now. "This is my home," she said softly. "They'd come, and they'd study, and they'd say it wasn't mine and they'd take it all away from me."

Amber swallowed. "Sorry, I... I guess I didn't think about that," she said slowly, reaching out to pat the sharkgrrl's tail. "I think it's wonderful. I won't tell anyone. When I get rescued, I won't even tell them about you at all, if you don't want."

The statuesque sharkherm stopped, Amber bumping into her sac-first. "Rescued?"

"Yeah! My dad's probably got half of the Navy up there looking for me. I should probably get back up there pretty quick, actually. They might spot my clothes and stuff on the beach, if they're looking with airplanes."

Amber couldn't see Jade's face, but the lonely grrl tried hard to keep her expression blank nonetheless. "Your family will be worried," she said hollowly. "Friends, too. I'll bring you back up now."

The kitteh leaned backwards slightly, frowning. "Did... I say something wrong?"

"No."

Well, that's a 'yes' if I've ever heard it. "I can't stay here forever," she said gently, leaning forwards once again, her overfilled pupmakers brushing against Jade's powerful tail. "I've got to get back to my own home. I'll be lucky if I don't get detention for missing the rest of the field trip," she said with a chuckle, trying to lighten the mood.

It didn't seem to work. Jade heaved an enormous sigh, her shoulders drooping, dorsal fin dipping low. "No, I know," she said heavily. "I just... I don't get many visitors. I shouldn't have lured you down here."

"Hey!" Amber barked, her canine heritage shining through for an instant. "You didn't 'lure' me anywhere. You tried to stop me from coming down here, and I insisted, and I'm glad I did, even if I almost died twice. Letting me into your home is an honor, Jade. I'm honored." She reached out and squeezed the towering herm's hand.

Jade sighed again, and Amber flexed her paw. "Don't make me use the claws again, missy," she said meaningfully.

Reluctantly, Jade half-turned to face her new feline friend with a sad toothy smile. "Thanks," she said. "That's nice of you to say."

"And they haven't found me yet," Amber continued, gesturing to the rest of the lair. "So you'd better show me around and get this barbecue on the road! We need to make the most of this."

"Barbecue on a road?"

"Land-critter thing," she laughed. "It just means I'm a hungry, hungry kitteh. Come on, what's in the next room?"

In the end, there was nothing either herm could find in the lair's assorted treasures that could successfully, or at least easily, create fire. Too much time near too much water had rendered most modern technology corroded and useless, and although Amber knew that the butane canister she found was still full she couldn't think of any way to take advantage of that without blowing up the lair, or the island.

They were very near the top of the galleon now, and Amber fancied she could actually hear the crashing of waves just above their heads. Her stomach rumbled in response, and already the lead weight of the Powerbars had been replaced by a gnawing emptiness.

"Sorry," Jade said again, stopping just short of what seemed to be the highest and narrowest cross-beam. "I guess that's everything. I never had to make fire before. Not much need. I will definitely make a note of it for the future, though..."

"Nothing else up there?"

Jade glanced guiltily up at the final passageway, on the other side of the narrowed peak of the great hollow lagoon. "Nothing up there that makes fire!"

"What is it?" Amber asked, taking a step forwards. "Maybe I can-"

The sharkgrrl's hand landed heavily on Amber's shoulder, stopping her as surely as a steel girder. "Nothing!" she said again, loudly but not angrily. If anything, she seemed scared. "Just... my stuff!"

Amber's eyes widened and she blushed, trying to step back but still caught in Jade's grip. "Oh! I'm... oh, jeez, I'm sorry, that was rude of me. This is your home, I can't just go barging in to your private parts... er, places!"

For several seconds, Amber wondered just what exactly she was supposed to do next. Jade still held her, and was making no move to let go or protest further. They were balanced on a narrow ledge far above the water, and the kitteh was pretty sure that if she fell, or was pushed, she'd hit at least one beam on the way down.

"Uh...?"

What eventually did happen took Amber by surprise: guiding her like an errant puppy, Jade started to walk them both up the final beam, towards the apparently forbidden room.

"Uh...!"

The final chamber, which would have been the sternmost compartment on the great old ship, was arguably the cleanest and most modestly-lit. The glowing moss was confined to a few well-tended patches overhead, and the wooden furniture was remarkably intact and free of rot. Apart from a few overstuffed, sun-bleached chairs, the tilted, uneven floor was filled with small antique tables and high antique shelves.

There might not have been any gold, but Amber's eyes widened again when she saw what all of the flat surfaces were piled high with.

Jade released her shoulder and moved over to a wide, faded blue divan, settling her considerable bulk onto it with practiced ease. She reached over and picked up a sheaf of loose papers, flipping through them one by one. "I don't have many guests at all," she whispered.

Each sheet, and there were so very many of them, was a person. Amber recognized pages torn from catalogues, magazine covers, even some pornographic centrefolds. There were romance novel covers and hardware calendar pin-ups and all manner of cheesecake shots. The majority, though, were just... people. Fully dressed. Smiling.

"There's a lot of these, if you know where to look," Jade said, thumbing through a stack of young women about Amber's age, then pulling out a larger stack of young men from behind the cushion. "It's pretty much as close as I'm allowed to get."

Amber traced her paw along an entire shelf of girls that,in two very important regards, could give Cindy a run for her money. "I guess it's a good way to learn about us," she said carefully, nervously. This isn't creepy, Amber! She's lonely. She's really... really lonely. "Hey, Hella Kay! I'm on her website..."

"This is Reggie," the sharkgrrl said, holding up a handsome young dark-furred wolfboy. Amber recognized his abs from that silly vampire movie, and knew that neither the actor nor the character was named Reggie. "This is Petro. This is Carlo. This is... uhm... Vincent! Right! Sorry, Vincent," she giggled, apologizing to the picture.

Ok, maybe it just got a little creepy...

"I should... leave..." Amber said, shuffling slowly towards the door. "I... you probably don't want people in here. I mean, REAL people. I mean... oh, shit," she finished dejectedly. "I don't know what I mean."

Jade wrinkled her lean, lethal muzzle. "We're not social," she murmured. "We're not supposed to be. We're solitary. We communicate, sure, but... we don't need company."

Amber knew all too well that tone of voice. "Who told you that?"

"Everyone. My mom, mostly. Other sharks. Cetaceans. A couple seals I tried to make friends with. I was told pinnipeds would be welcoming, but... meh."

The kitteh nodded. "So, who are you trying to convince, then?"

Jade sighed, then blinked. "Huh?"

"I bet you people told you that you'd grow out of these feelings, right?" Amber's tail lashed back and forth, warming to the topic. "That it was just a phase?"

The sharkgrrl, sprawled out on the divan, deliciously nude and utterly uncaring for her lack of modesty, tilted her head thoughtfully. "Ye-e-es..."

Amber tapped her claws against her sheath, feeling the familiar, comforting bulk of her 'shameful' bits. "And you felt as though there was something wrong with YOU, because you had all these feelings," she continued, her small voice filling the submarine chamber. "Feelings that you couldn't express because there was no-one close enough to understand you, no-one who was willing to listen. So even when you weren't alone... you were alone."

Jade seemed to be retreating into her divan, shoulders slumping, fins drooping. "Yeah," she whispered.

She felt a little bad for dragging this out, but she knew all too well what it took for these feelings to be faced head-on and subsequently clobbered into submission. "I guess that explains this room, then," she said brassily, gesturing to the well-sorted piles of imaginary friends. "These are the only people who can stand to be around you!"

The sharkgrrl's eyes flashed, just once, her spine straightening in defiance... but just as Amber predicted, Jade sagged bonelessly once more. "I guess so," she said in defeat.

Amber had closed the distance between them with dainty little steps, which considering the unrestrained expansion of her nethers was really all she could manage. "So you know what I'm gonna do?" she purred, leaning over slightly, taking in the sight of the tall, incredibly voluptuous herm attempting to curl up into a ball, hugging her vast bosom for comfort.

"Leave?" Jade mumbled into her cleavage.

The land-critter knew just how strong her new friend was, so she didn't bother holding back. She clamped her paws onto Jade's shoulders, hauled the sleek grrl bodily around to face her more fully, and kissed her with ballistic, almost brutal desire.

Amber had a lot more experience with people trying to snap her out of her own depressive, angsty funks, so it was rather enjoyable to be on the other side of the equation for once. Jade's body stiffened, and for a moment she tried to pull away (gods, how many times have I done THAT?!, Amber thought) before relaxing once again, long arms wrapping around the fuzzy hyper.

You're thinking new thoughts now, aren't you? she mused, enjoying the feel of Jade's rubbery flesh against her whiskers, the way her much larger mouth seemed to twitch and wriggle against her dainty muzzle. You're feeling that little spark of hope that maybe, just maybe... there is a place in the world for you... that you weren't a mistake... gods knows I've been there...

A faint, silken hissing reached her ears, almost unnoticed behind the creaking of the galleon, the sloshing of the waves and the omnipresent dripping of seawater slowly infiltrating the lair. Her good ear perked up, the other too weighed down with moisture to un-flop itself, and she tried to locate it. As much as she was thoroughly enjoying the heat of the moment, unexpected noises in this particular environment made her nervous.

The hissing briefly crescendoed and was cut off by a sharp, dense thump near Amber's feet and a high-pitched, bird-like squeak from Jade.

The kiss broke, both grrls glancing over and down. Jade had to crane her neck in order to peer beyond the impressive swell of her breasts, but the still-upright Amber was in the perfect location to watch the sharkgrrl's lustrous ebon shaft fatten with slow, easy surges. It had expanded enough to crowd out what little room remained on the divan and had slumped onto the floor, laying languidly and stretching out longer, inch by delicious inch.

"Does that happen very often?" Amber giggled, nuzzling Jade's cheek.

"More and more these last few years," Jade said, oddly without inflection. The hyper-kitteh was good at body language, though, and the sharkgrrl was easy enough to read: I don't know how to deal with this! "It... it feels... good..."

"Do you get to see much porn, down here?"

Jade blinked, looking as though she just realized there was someone else in the room. "Yeah, of course. I have all these pictures..."

Amber grabbed at the nearest salacious stack, flipping through it quickly. "Pose... pose... pose... pose... guy and girl, at least, but just a pose... pose... ok, have you actually seen, like, movies? Where they're doing it?"

"Doing what?"

Amber finally understood how Cindy felt when the vixen was helping her through those first few awkward hyper-phases of her life. "Doing what? You... you don't know what the pictures mean?"

"They're naked... and they look good... and they make me feel good..." Jade said, her eyes glazing over slightly as her body's natural but rarely-used functions kicked into higher gear. Her cock had swollen substantially, still soft but now showing a fine latticework of veins just below the surface, her sac had filled out noticeably, and Amber was impressed to see her breasts actually growing larger, rounder, higher. "I have to get... outside... I need to be in the water..."

"Are you sure?" Amber breathed, leaning forwards, pressing her modest bosom against the sharkgrrl's far, far larger swells. "I think you look pretty comfortable in here-"

"Outside! I need more room!" Jade cried out, standing up with awkward, jerky motions.

The kitteh looked around. This place is bigger than my basement! How much room do you need? "How much room do you need?"

"Mmmmmrrrrrr!" the sharkgrrl growled, eyes bulging out, teeth peeking out everywhere. Towering over Amber, she had definitely added substantial mass everywhere up front, doing her darndest to catch up to the kitteh's excessive nethers. "Fffff... follow!"

Amber had only managed two steps towards the corridor before Jade darted through it, footsteps pounding in the distance and shaking some moss off of the walls. "I'm following, girl, I'm following, but... you still there?"

The pounding had stopped.

The corridor was silent, save for the echoing drips.

Amber held her breath, ears straining.

She didn't...

The splash sounded like a distant explosion, and the faint gust of breeze that tickled Amber's whiskers confirmed the magnitude of the impact.

"Ok, fine, she jumped," she chuckled in wonderment, making her way into the main chamber as swiftly as she could, which was not particularly swift. "She better be waiting for me at the bottom, though, or I'm gonna be pissed."

Out in the belly of the galleon, she peered down through the fading glow, watching the ripples in the lagoon die down. A dozen timbers and beams criss-crossed the open space, and she could make out where their footprints had distorted the luminous mosses. Of her new friend, the pent-up shark-herm, there was no sign.

Creeping nervously onto the beam, arms out as though balancing on a circus high-wire, she tried to quell the gnawing fear that she was never going to escape the lair. She seriously doubted she could make it from the lagoon all the way to the surface on a single lungful of air, and certainly not while being dragged down by her nethers, which had also grown slightly during that brief, romantic moment.

After a few minutes, a few beams and no signs of Jade, it was getting harder to quell.

"Surprise hurricane," she grumbled, switching back on a platform and heading down another span. "Washed overboard. No food. All naked. Trapped by a lonely hypershark in an sunken underwater lair. Well... at least it isn't a volcano lair..."

Another beam. Another side passage. Another beam. As she descended, the urge to make a brief detour and snag a couple articles of treasure grew, but common sense derailed those pretty quickly. She fingered the chain at her neck and the tiara still haphazardly perched on her head and decided she was already as lucky as she was about to get.

"Richest underwater kitteh in the world, ma!" she drawled, hugging her body. The glow was fading, the mosses exhausting whatever fueled their light, and she was realizing that it was a little bit chilly down below the sea, subtropical zone or not. Bit by bit, the confines of her world became shrouded in darkness, pressing in on her from all sides.

With three beams to go, she gauged the distance and decided there was probably only one way to get her captor's attention. One paw clenched in terror, the other pinching her nose, she stepped off of the narrow wooden bridge and plummeted twenty feet to the lagoon below, almost positive that the impact would be audible to any sea-critters that might be in the area.

Oh my gods I'm falling fast OH MY GODS MY TUMMY IS GOING INTO MY EARS-

Amber had always enjoyed the pool and the beach, but she had never been able to convince herself to launch herself off of the high diving boards. Even the low diving boards, frequented by toddlers and the elderly, seemed unnervingly high to her. She knew that the trip down to the lagoon couldn't last more than a second, maybe a second and a half, but heart-squeezing fear had a way of stretching that out into eternity.

KF-THOOSH!

The impact was unpleasantly like being kicked in the groin, and considering her current size that was a big kick. The breath left her body in a cloud of bubbles, all four limbs churning the water as she clambered madly towards the surface, almost positive that she was going in the right direction.

She surfaced in a frustrated feline splutter, dog-paddling over to the lip of the lagoon and gulping for air. "Ok," she gasped. "Everyone had to have... heard that. Come on, Jade... don't leave me hangEEEEK!"

The grip on her ankle tugged for an instant, and the kitteh thrashed so hard that she submerged herself once more in her panic and had to be rescued by the fortuitous appearance of Jade. "Relax, it's just me!"

"AUGH! AUGH!! AUGH!!!"

Jade bobbed up and down, smiling her inscrutable, innocent smile and supporting Amber with one arm. Eventually the flailing ceased, her breathing calmed, and she realized that not half an hour before nearly the exact same scene had played out.

"You came back!" Amber said, searching for something non-idiotic to say, and failing. One hand reached up, apparently of it's own accord, and touched at the coronet that was still somehow perched atop her head.

"I needed to get into the water," Jade said meekly, shrugging prettily. "When my... body does that, I need to cool off."

"I know the feeling," the kitteh winked, awkwardly moving closer. Jade blinked in surprise, scooting backwards when she felt the immense furry mounds bumping against her endowments. "I guess it doesn't happen to you very often, if you don't get many guests."

"It happens pretty often," Jade explained, brows furrowing slightly. "Does being around other people cause it, too?"

In the back of Amber's mind, another spark flickered. "Has... has that ever happened to you when you're with someone?"

The sharkgrrl seemed to sink slightly, a tiny frown creasing her cheeks. "This is the closest I've ever been to someone in... well, a LONG time. And my body never did much back then."

You've got to be kidding me. "Ok, Jade. I want you to listen to me very carefully," Amber said with unaccustomed gravity, squeezing her friend's arm. "Have you ever had sex?"

Jade shook her head, eyes wide with shock. "Oh, no! No, no no! I don't want to have babies!"

The wet smack of Amber's sopping paw against her forehead reverberated around the lair several times before finally being absorbed by the dim, flickering mosses. "You and me, Jade?" the kitteh said softly, seeing the confusion on her face. "You and me have a lot to discuss."

What followed was a very brief discussion of the basics, with Jade gasping at each revelation, alternately in delight and disbelief. Amber made general shapes in the air with her paws, explained what a few of the more enjoyable parts of their anatomy were called and what they did, and then polled the sharkgrrl to see where her romantic interests lay. When the answers seemed to be 'anything and anyone', the kitteh decided that it was time to take matters into her own hands.

More specifically, it was time to teach a certain shark how to take matters into HER own hands.

A deal was struck, and Amber was a little ashamed to have ever entertained the thought that she might be a captive. Jade was only too happy to escort the castaway calico to the surface, pausing once to refill the land-critter's lungs. Amber suspected that the buddy breathing lasted longer than strictly necessary, but considering all the new information that had been imparted to the lonely herm, it was certainly understandable.

When they gently bobbed to the surface, Amber spent several long moments adjusting her eyes to the volcanic sunset that ignited the horizon. She didn't think they'd been down there for that long, but the sudden explosion of light and sound and tropical after-storm smells was a little overpowering.

They paddled around languidly for a minute, enjoying the gentle breeze and allowing the feline to adjust to the pressure by repeatedly trying to yawn and blow water out of her nostrils. "Was I the first person you've had down there?" Amber asked in between honks.

Jade shook her head. "There was a couple, when I first decided to make it my home, but that was years ago, and I didn't have much to show them other than some seaweed and piles of gold. Sea-folk. A few of them kept trying to steal my stuff, so I had to hide it above the waterline where they don't like to go."

"Thanks for letting me in," Amber said sincerely, splashing lazily over to the larger boulders at the end of the rocky reach. "I hope when I get rescued... er, found, I suppose is a better term... well, I hope we can keep in touch. Remember what I said about the docks, ok?"

"I will!" the sharkgrrl nodded eagerly, following Amber to the rocks.

The kitteh tried to hoist herself up onto one of the larger boulders, a nice smooth slab larger than her bed, but once again found that her present dimensions provided several large barriers. "Uhm... can you, like... give me a bit of a push? Er, yeah, just sort of... yeah, put your hands right there, and one... two... three-e-e-E-E-EEK!"

When her body eventually came to a rest, she half-expected to see a circle of birds fluttering around her head. "Yeah, that was graceful," she grunted, sitting up and wriggling her legs out from underneath her sac. Water sluiced off of her in sheets, reminding her of a breaching whale. "Thanks, though!"

Amber scooted over, swinging her legs back into the water and kicking playfully. She carefully arranged her nethers so that the bulk of her balls was largely supported by the sea, tugging at her loins with each lapping of the waves. Oh, I have got to remember this next time I'm at the beach!

Thoughts of her own body were banished by the sight of Jade hoisting herself out of the water like an 80's music video starlet. Her tail lashed, propelling her straight up and allowing her to twist around in mid-air, dropping her rump onto the edge of the rock with no apparent effort. The easy grace of the athletic sharkgrrl was in shocking contrast to the fullness of her breasts and the sheer mass of her hermness, definitely larger than it had been before her sudden departure.

The hypers spent several long seconds examining eachother in the rich golden sunlight, and Amber was smugly pleased to discover that her sac was still the larger of the pair. She swallowed nervously, though, when she saw that Jade's gravidly swollen shaft was far larger than her own sheath, and still decidedly soft.

"You're sure this will work?" Jade murmurred.

"Trust me," Amber grinned hugely, tail lashing back and forth. "I'm an expert. Just follow my lead."

The cream-and-gold kitteh shook herself once, droplets flying, and flexed her paws as though preparing to launch into a piano concerto. Her eyes half-lidded, both ears drooping, as she slowly began to massage her sheath, burgundy peachfuzz trembling and straining at her touch.

"So," she said, trying to keep her voice level and tone conversational. "When your... body does that, you just go for a quick dip?"

"Yeah. There's some cooler currents just to the north of here, I find that helps things, uhm... settle down," Jade replied, watching the feline's paws intently.

"So you've never carried things to their logical conclusion? Obeyed the inscrutable exhortations of your biological imperative?"

Jade's lips moved silently while she mulled over her answer. "Uhm... no?"

Amber squeaked, whimpered, grunted and exhaled in a giddy rush as her own biological imperatives were finally acknowledged. The sharkgrrl gasped, both hands pressed to her mouth, when the canid sheath lifted itself into the air purely from mounting internal pressure and retracted, more than two feet of thin velvety flesh tugging back to reveal more than three feet of deep pink shaft. The tapered tip splashed into the water, the rest nestled against the upper slopes of her sac.

"Whew," she said, blinking away the fog. "That's a start!"

"Oooo," Jade said appreciatively. "Bigger than you look!"

"I hear that a lot," Amber chuckled. "Come on, keep up! Let's see some skin on skin!"

The sharkgrrl looked curiously at her hands, and carefully placed them against the base of her own shaft. She twitched slightly, ripples radiating away from where her legs dangled in the water, and Amber was relieved to see a nearly instantaneous swelling of ebon veins.

Jade frowned nervously, but her hands roamed nonetheless. "Are you sure about this?" she asked again.

"I do this daily. More than daily, really. It's pretty much the only thing that keeps me sane and keeps the boys at my school safe," Amber reassured the much larger herm, her own maleness swelling longer with each beat of her heart, lifting itself lazily out of the water. Normally her eyes would be closed, illicit fantasies dancing through her imagination, but right now the sight of Jade becoming magnificently aroused was all she needed.

Amber was bigger than she normally found herself while privately relieving her pent-up pressures, four feet of canine cock forcing her thighs apart and still growing, but the sharkgrrl's glossy black column was still easily the more impressive. Jade's eyes widened, her breath coming in shallow little pants with each surge of flesh forcing her fingers apart. She couldn't reach the heavy tip even if she'd tried, and still it sagged under it's own tremendous weight, not yet fully hard.

"Mmmrrrrrr," Amber purred, licking her lips and dragging her claws gently down herself, already so painfully erect that she could feel her tendons quaking just below the surface. "That this is new to you is a fucking tragedy, Jade. A tragedy."

Jade leaned back slightly to counterbalance herself, her sleek, powerful-looking shaft standing fully proud of the water. "Th-this is normal?" she hissed, squeezing her thighs around the base, her hands moving to caress the silvery sac that was struggling to catch up to Amber's. "This happens to you all the time?"

"With any luck, I've got someone there to help me," Amber grinned evilly, her lewd winks going unnoticed. "The tricky part is keeping them from escaping."

"Escaping?!"

"Kidding!" she laughed, bought the rolled her eyes back thoughtfully. "Mostly. Ok, you're going to want to start stroking now before you get much bigger, which is looks like you're definitely going to do. Here, like this. Fingers out, you want to aim for maximum coverage. Yay, there you go!"

Amber was not used to being outclassed in this regard, and she had to suppress her competitive streak. This is Jade's special day! Make it special for her, not you! She felt she was rather magnificently hypered-up, fluffy paws delectably tiny against her quivering burgundy flesh, but Jade was thicker than her already substantial torso and lengthening with regular, and noticeable, pulses.

The sharkgrrl was sliding her hands wetly up and down, feeling over the streamlined curvature of her shaft, exotically different from Amber's canid member. Her breathing became hoarse and insistent, her brow furrowing with effort.

"Whoa, relax there, grrl," Amber said soothingly. "It's a journey, not a destination... well, that's not true, the destination is freaking awesome, but ENJOY the journey. Unclench the shoulders..."

She reached out, stroking Jade's forearm, watching as the tense, taut seagrrl slowly loosened up. "S-sory," she said shakily. "It's... the pressure... I just want to, HAVE to do something, and I don't know what!"

She seemed on the verge of tears; Amber squeezed her forearm again, fingertips brushing the immense onyx shaft. "You're doing it, right now. Just do what feels good... what feels natural. Don't blow off steam in a cold underwater shower, ok? Your body knows what to do." The kitteh chuckled again. "Mine sure did."

Jade leaned back slowly, the cartilage in her back popping as she tried to shed her tension. "What was your first time like?" she asked softly, nuzzling her proud, upthrust bosom, her hands once again moving with a lover's familiarity.

Amber paused, pleased that her growth had plateaued while she was still able to reach all the best bits. "Uhm... first time with someone, or alone?"

"With," Jade said wistfully.

"Oh. Uhm... his name was Stu," the kitteh recalled, smiling with nostalgia. "He was a stud. Like, honestly, he was a stallion. Football player. Had a bit of a secret thing for herms, back before anyone was really starting to notice me, or at least back when everyone was pretending not to notice me. I was a lot smaller back then."

"So, boys still like herms?"

"Honey, EVERYONE seems to. On some level."

"That's good," the shark said enigmatically, smiling to herself. She seemed far more comfortable now, legs splayed wide around her gravid, swelling sac, glossy black cock having settled on a breath over six feet in length. "What happend?"

"Mmmmmm, we had a shower," Amber purred, claws extending once again, scratching herself with surprising vigor. "He showed me his... I showed him mine... I thought we were going to just fool around a little, kiss and touch and stuff, and he wanted to, uhm... do a lot more..."

The feel of that muscular body tightening around her, tail swishing in panic against her belly, hips bloating with her knot, body filling bigger... bigger...

She bit down hard on her lip, feeling her cream-and-gold balls suddenly churning with audible desire, forcing her knees further apart.

"What next?" Jade said, eyes wide.

"Mmmph!" Amber snorted, trying to calm her hormones. "Sorry, got stuck in a rump... I mean, rut! Memory! He was ok, eventually!"

"Wow," the sharkgrrl said, impressed and slightly confused. "He really let you-"

The kitteh's knot bulged slightly, and she bit down harder. "Yeff! Er... yes! It happens more often than you'd think... hell, it happens more often than I'd think, and every time I think word is going to get out and make me an outcast, I get more date requests than ever! And YOU..." She gestured meaningfully at Jade's proportionally far larger endowments.

"Me?"

Amber leaned way over, nuzzling Jade's shoulder. "Let's just say you'll not have a shortage of friends, when you decide to come out of your shell."

"I don't have a shell, I'm-"

It nearly knocked them both off balance, it nearly sent them both tumbling into the sea, but Amber reached up, gripped the back of Jade's head with one hyper-powered paw, and yanked the naive sharkgrrl into a passionate, fiery kiss. Her thick, powerful tail snapped to rigid attention, and the feline's sensitive ears picked up the sounds of rubbery skin stretching tighter still.

Slowly, carefully, her raspy tongue lapping cutely at Jade's lips, Amber pulled back, enormous eyes staring into Jade's white-rimmed orbs.

"How was th-" she started to say.

With lightning speed, Jade struck, her mouth opening wide, teeth flashing like liquid fire in the setting sunlight. Amber just had enough time to squeak before the carnivorous herm's jaw closed on her neck, tiny pinpricks of pressure seemingly everywhere at once. She froze, one paw still on the back of Jade's head, the other against her sac, ears straight up in terror.

AUGH!

And just like before, the dawning realization trickled through her like honey. Jade was moaning against her fluff, slick hands still moving up and down against a shaft that simply did not know when to stop growing.

I guess she is a shark! Amber chuckled to herself, feeling multiple rows of teeth working delicately against her, the sharkgrrl's jaw muscles working like a suckling baby. She traced her claws down the back of Jade's neck, down her back (careful to avoid her gills), and down to the base of her tail and her spectacular rump. She gave one cheek a squeeze, five tiny talons returning the affection.

"Mmmmmmmmmmm," she moaned, wondering if she was turning into one of those girls that likes biting and scratching. Or at least, even moreso. "And how long have you wanted to do that?"

Jade didn't reply, merely wrapping one arm around Amber and tugging her closer. Legs were shifted out of the way so their balls could cuddle up together as well, and Amber squeaked with delight again when she felt her tapered glans brushing against the sharkgrrl's surprisingly warm cock.

The grrls remained locked like that for several minutes, Jade periodically moving her maw to a new position, Amber massaging the powerful muscles of her new friend, free hands driving themselves larger, harder, friskier. Several times the hyper-kitteh had to back off with her ministrations, already being pushed into a hair-trigger situation by the day's strange activities and the prolonged period at such an advanced size, but Jade it seemed was definitely enjoying the journey now.

Amber's eyes lit up, and she grinned with inspiration. "You know... I think I need to take a break for a minute," she said, struggling to keep her voice level, no easy feat with a couple dozen razor-sharp teeth buried in her cleavage.

Jade whuffed softly, slowly easing her oral fixation off of Amber's torso. "R-really?" she asked, eyes glazed. "Is that... normal?"

The kitteh shrugged. "Sometimes. It's been a really long day, and all I've eaten was peanut butter. I could really use a drink..."

The sharkgrrl was mulling this over, comprehension dawning with glacial innocence, when Amber threw caution to the wind and pounced, or at the very least leaned sideways with as much gusto as she could muster. The grrls were sitting hip to hip, tails boffing one another, swollen and swelling sacs snuggling close, but there was still a significant vertical disparity that allowed the feline's muzzle easy access to Jade's breasts, taking one mini-cupcake-sized nipple into her mouth.

Surfacing through the haze of lost memories after tumbling overboard, Amber encountered a burst of familiarity when, while carefully trying to keep her teeth clear of any overly-sensitive tissue, the warm black nipple all but doubled in size, filling her mouth and even puffing out her cheeks slightly. Jade cried out loudly, obviously discovering a slightly different shade to this part of her body, and Amber's soft mewls were cut off by a sudden gush of milk across her tongue.

The sharkgrrl's breasts shifted and swayed heavily as her arms redoubled their efforts. Out of the corner of her eye, Amber easily recognized the signs of a herm reaching critical mass, that tightening of thinning skin to maddening levels, ropey bundles of tendon creaking with unfathomable tension, veins no longer throbbing but standing proud, permanently dilated and distended...

She gave Jade's rump a reassuring squeeze, her free paw sliding across to the other colossal, modestly leaking breast. The sharkgrrl's entire body shivered and stiffened, and Amber was not surprised to feel those powerful, crushing jaws closing onto her ear with tender care, sending little jolts of electricity down her spine. Oh gods yes the ears no-one ever pays attention to the ears aaarrrrrgggggghhhhhhhhhh I can't feel my toes harder harder harder harder-

Her mouth was filling faster now, and with regular, breathless swallowing she was only barely keeping up with the flow. She wondered just how long she had been like this before, drawing life-saving sustenance from her rescuer without knowing it. It definitely tasted creamy, but it was in all other specifics as different from milk as hot wings were different from carrot sticks. It wasn't unpleasant, far from it, but she couldn't decide exactly what it was she was tasting, and why she was enjoying it so much. Her gnawing hunger was fading, which was good... she generally needed a lot of recovery calories and down-time after a serious fwoomping, and this was shaping up to be quite the spectacle.

Jade was alternating between growling and whimpering into the top of Amber's head now, swollen past eight feet now and casting an enormous shadow across the grrls. Some probing with her fuzzy toes revealed that the kitteh's sac was still definitely the larger, but the sharkgrrl's were rushing to catch up, churning and spreading out in all directions with renewed gusto.

"Mmmfbbb..." the lonely herm panted, slowly levering her maw off of Amber's ears. "Amb... Amber... it feels... it feels like..."

"Shhhh, I know," the hyper kitteh purred, swallowing one final time and simply cuddling her cheek up to Jade's breast, flicking her raspy little tongue against that black nipple. "Let it happen. You've been.... unff... denying yourself for too long."

She looked up into Jade's eyes, and saw a mixture of ecstasy and panic. Is that what I looked like the first time? I know I panicked with Stu... but when it was just me? I was third-basing myself in elementary school, so probably not. She's been afraid of her body all these years. Come on, grrl... let it out...

"Come on, Jade... come on," she urged, her own paws back on her own shaft, knot expanding in her lap and forcing her canid shaft upwards, hardly half the size of the sharkgrrl's. "Don't try to stop it... let it happen... let it come..."

Jade was hunching over now, the quivering fin atop her head actually rubbing against the gently curving column of flesh that was forcing her thighs apart, her sleek muzzle brushing against her breasts as they plumped and pillowed against her cock. The muscles of her arms and back were plainly visible as she stroked up and down, squeezing with enough power that Amber was surprised she wasn't making more of a dent in herself.

Amber was similarly perched on the edge of climax, but all of her attention was focused on Jade, hardly able to believe what she was seeing and driven nearly mad by the incredibly sexy sight. "Gods... I wonder if this is how... how all those boys felt... when they looked at me..." she said aloud, wanting to pounce on Jade right then and there, wanting to feel that impossible black shaft forcing her open, wanting to feel that release...

Jade's eyes flew open, and she made a strangled noise that could have been pleasure or pain. Amber grinned victoriously. "I know that look!" she crowed, feeling heat spreading through her loins, completely oblivious to the hard rock beneath her. "This is normal, Jade... this is normal... go with it..." she managed before her own approaching orgasm made it impossible to say anything intelligible.

Slowly the sharkgrrl straightened out, her hands moving in short, frenetic motions so quick they were almost a blur. Her gaze travelled up her absurd proportions, and Amber could see the underside bulging even as her immense balls drew up closer, lifting weightily just a few inches out of the water.

"Next time..." Amber whispered, insides clenching simply with the thought of mounting that natural wonder, already making plans to try and arrange a weekend trip to the Gulf. "Next time..."

It was a close finish, but she did succeed in prolonging her own pleasure enough to allow Jade to climax first, for which she was eternally grateful. The hyper-kitteh, so often on the giving end of the equation, was still mostly in her right mind to enjoy the spectacle of the sharkgrrl's first-ever orgasm, a sight that would keep her warm and tingly for many nights to come.

Amber had expected Jade's big first to be similar to her own, and indeed similar to most that tended to occur in her immediate vicinity. The sharkgrrl's tense, quavering whine was growing louder and deeper, her great chest well suited to the guttural cries of lust, but instead of reaching a deafening crescendo, she threw back her head, opened her mouth wide...

... and clamped her tooth-filled maw onto her own shaft, setting off a nearly instantaneous chain reaction. Veins like garden hoses seemed to double in size, shifting and writhing just beneath the surface, and there was an audible creak as her cartilaginous jaw was forced out even wider (and considering she was a shark, that was saying something!)

Must be a shark thing, Amber thought giddily to herself, wondering just how many times she had been forced to bite herself to keep from doing something stupid, or at least to keep from waking the entire neighborhood.

Jade's eyes were still squeezed shut when she came, and never before had Amber understood why it was called la petit mort... the powerfully-built herm looked as though she were holding on quite literally for dear life, simply trying to survive the force of her own orgasm, which Amber supposed she was. It was unlikely the reclusive grrl had ever allowed herself to experience anything even remotely as intense as this!

Clinging to herself, tail thrashing wildly, her first geysering pulse arced so high that Amber thought that she must have imagined it. A couple seconds later, though, as the sound of approaching splashes drowned out all other noises, she decided that perhaps she wasn't ready to handle quite that level of herm.

Yet!

Again and again Jade came, each eruption larger and more ferocious than the last and accompanied by a squeak of effort. Amber watched her outpouring in awe, her nostrils flaring with the overpoweringly exotic and yet enticingly familiar scent of her musk. The waves dancing against their legs grew slightly higher as the sharkgrrl churned the waters ahead of them, the sea glowing brighter orange as her seed caught the rays of the setting sun.

Amber's insides clenched and tugged and she bit down reflexively on her lip. Her hands had slowed to the point where she felt as though she were simply massaging some sore muscles, which she supposed technically she was, but just the sights and sounds and smells of her new friend were enough to push her over the edge.

She shifted her weight slightly, leaning against Jade's side, her muzzle cuddling up to the sharkgrrl's heavy, faintly sloshing breasts. She murmurred sweet, reassuring nothings to the twitching herm, not knowing if she was getting through or not but just basking in the shared glow. She felt strangely serene despite the torrential flood of Jade's first steps into womanhood, and she purred with transcendental contentedness as her knot bloomed in her lap, forcing her thighs far to either side and pushing her canine cock ever higher.

Jade was just starting to finally come down from cloud nine when she felt Amber shuddering her own way to climax, the lithe kitteh moaning, purring and rubbing up against the sharkgrrl in a very feline manner. She unclamped her enormous mouth from her ebon shaft, leaving a circle of tiny teethmarks, blinking woozily and wondering if she'd died at some point and gone to Heaven.

"Fuh... fwuh... fwah..." she slurred, still outpouring gallons every second but more of a steady flow than before. She felt squeezed dry, all of her flexible joints and powerful muscles throbbing, though not unpleasantly.

She leaned in exhaustion against the softening immensity of her hermness, watching Amber burst again and again, less voluminously than herself but no less excitingly. She stroked the kitteh's ears, twining her fingers in those long golden tresses, daunted by the whole world of pleasures that had been opened up to her.

"I... I can do that... whenever I want?" she mused softly, relieved to discover that she seemed to be returning to her normal size, or at least most of her was. Her breasts were still far fuller and heavier than she was used to, but she knew some enjoyable ways to deal with that 'problem'.

"Gods... yes..." Amber panted, sagging bonelessly against her new friend, claws flexing and retracting as she slowly drifted back to earth. "As often... as possible... mmmm, scratch harder..."

The sounds of the ocean eventually returned, evidence of their peculiar sexual nature spread and splattered nearly everywhere. "Thank you," Jade whispered sincerely, giving Amber's floppy ears a nibble.

"Mmmmm, so very welcome," Amber yawned in return, licking the last of the sharkgrrl's milk off of her whiskers. "I love to spread knowledge, wherever I go."

"It's going to be so boring here when you leave."

"I won't be gone forever, sweetie, and I hope you'll just take it as impetus to get out a little bit more."

"Where? The seatowns aren't very welcoming to my people."

"MY people would probably knock eachother over to ask you out. You just need to make the right first impression." Amber arched her back, creaking and popping as she stretched. "I am all about first impressions, I grew up and out in the public eye. Look, you're loaded... oh, get your mind out of the bilge, I meant in terms of money. Here's what you need to do..."

The sun had set and the first stars were twinkling in the sky above before Amber had finished outlining her proposal. The kitteh had talked at length, possibly more words at one time than the sharkgrrl had ever been audience to, covering an enormous number of topics to the point that Jade had been forced to take a few notes on a piece of driftwood. Amber finished in a breathless rush, the exertions of the day finally catching up with her, and Jade was still digesting all of the ramifications when she spotted the lights on the horizon.

"Hey," Jade whispered, nudging her dozing friend. The grrls, now more or less back to their 'original' sizes, had scooted back to lean against one of the larger, smoother boulders. The aquatic herm was using her tail to periodically splash herself with water to keep herself moistened, careful not to get any on the land-critter. "Wake up."

Amber sat upright with a 'pop' as her muzzle finally freed Jade's nipple, blinking sleep out of her eyes. "Mmwummph... wha? I'm awake, I'm not... I wasn't..." Licking her lips, she glanced at the breast she had been using as a pillow, and the glistening black mound that she had apparently been using as a pacifier. "Uh... was I just..."

"You seemed hungry," Jade giggled, "and I didn't feel like stopping you."

"Sorry?"

"Pssshhh, whatever. At least I can see my toes again!"

Amber realized that the sharkgrrl's proportions were slightly less abundantly top-heavy, and she glanced down at her own heavily rounded tummy and stifled a tiny burp with a paw. "Oh my," she mused, poking at her belly. "I was hungry."

"Mmm hmmm, but that's not why I woke you up."

"Do I need to switch to the other side?"

"No! Well... maybe. But I don't think you'll have time." She pointed to the horizon, a ribbon of indigo splitting the sea and the sky. "They seem to be in a bit of a hurry."

At first Amber saw only one light, and her hopes were not significantly raised. As she focused, though, a second and third light appeared, spreading slightly as the boats navigated in the dark. "You don't think-"

"An airplane went overhead while you were telling me about waterproof smartphones."

"Really?"

"You were on a roll, I didn't want to stop you." Jade stretched, her tail splashing herself once again. "I guess this is... goodbye, for now."

Amber nodded slowly, smiling with relief but still frowning on the inside. "Yeah." She scratched at her hair, suddenly acutely aware now that rescue was approaching that she was quite, quite naked. "You remember everything I told you?"

"I wrote a few things down, I'm sure I can muddle through the rest," Jade smiled, patting the feline's leg. "I got your e-mail address and your Twatter."

"Twitter."

"Whatever."

Silence, except the placid waves.

"I suppose I should let you get dressed."

Amber nodded again, a little numb. "Yeah." She breathed deep, tail fluffing out, luxuriating in the rare sensation of fresh air on bare fur. "We'll see eachother again."

"For sure!" Jade said brightly. "I think... I think this is just the beginning. For me, at least. So... thank you. For everything."

"I didn't do much," the kitteh demurred. "Just helped you listen to what your body was telling you. Hell, it was super-easy for me... I grew up with the Internet."

The sounds of powerful hulls slicing through the twilight seas reached their ears, and both girls heaved a sigh. "Ok, no more procrastinating, land-critter," Jade laughed, slipping easily into the water up to her bosom, but leaving her hand on Amber's thigh. "You go get dressed and get rescued and see your family. I can't keep you forever."

"Why not?" she pouted.

"Because there's lots and lots of boys and girls that need you... and me," Jade said huskily, squeezing meaningfully.

"Oooo," Amber grinned lasciviously. "What have I unleashed on the world?"

"I'll totally blame you."

"That's fair." Amber glanced at the beach, feinting with her leg before spinning like a bolt of lightning and kissing Jade full on the lips one final time. "Just so you don't forget me," she said breathlessly when she eventually parted.

"Like that's gonna happen," the sharkgrrl laughed again. "I already feel like I need another cold shower."

"No more cold showers!"

"Oh, don't worry, I know how to deal with this now," Jade agreed.

The aquatic hyper-herm watched Amber hop from rock to rock, slowly making her way to shore, and dipped below the surface and out of sight when the sounds of approaching boats mingled with shouts from their occupants. To her, the late-night undersea world was as plain as noonday, but it still seemed more drab without her new friend.

Still, she thought, diving deeper and deeper and already making mental lists of things to gather from her lair, my days won't be boring for much longer! Thank you, Amber. Thank you so much.

When the Allsouth Gulf Patrol boats finally arrived at the tiny island, spotlights scanning back and forth and spiked with urgent cries from the Search And Rescue workers, they found Amber sitting neatly against the trees, doodling in the sand with a stick. She shielded her eyes from the lights, wondering why so many boats had been sent to rescue one little girl, but a colossal and oddly familiar splash made her smile.

"AMBER!" bellowed her father, drowning out the shouting, the boats, and every animal for miles in every direction.

"Yeah, Dad," she called, standing up and brushing sand off of her skirt. "Right here."

She could feel the sand beneath her vibrating with each thump of his powerful legs, the mammoth doberman scything through the shallows and pounding up the beach. "AMBER!" he roared again.

Wow, he's really... upset, she thought with wonder. Nothing ever seemed to get his emotions to come to the surface, positive or negative. Even partying at the New Years Bash in the city, draped with gorgeous women and quite tipsy, he still seemed as though he were chaperoning. He really was scared.

"I'm-" she started, but was hauled bodily into the air, the breath squeezed out of her lungs by crushing, loving hugs.

A cheer went up from the boats, a couple more splashes signalling more rescue workers coming to her 'rescue'. She kicked her feet weakly, wondering if Jade was watching from a safe distance.

"ARE YOU OK?!" Liam thundered, even though she was unable to move her mouth enough to reply. "ARE YOU HURT?!" Another pause. "ARE YOU WEARING A CROWN?!"

She hauled back with what little mobility remained her, and thumped her dad in the hip with her knee as hard as she could. Her towering father stared down at her, relaxing his arms enough that she could draw breath.

"I," she said at length, when she was convinced she wasn't going to pass out, "am fine, Dad."

"ARE YOU SURE?!"

She nodded, unable to stop herself from grinning foolishly, well and truly pleased to see him now that the shock of his arrival had worn off. She wrapped her arms around his neck and hugged him back, pulling herself higher. "I'm sure, really." She knew she had to keep up appearances, though, especially with the person who had to pay for all of her grocery bills. "I'm a little hungry, though..."

Laughing and crying at the same time, father and daughter made their way back to the boats. Within moments Amber was connected by satellite phone with the Freeport Marriot, where her mother and Cindy were occupying a room and eagerly awaiting sign of the shipwrecked kitteh. Spotlights were extinguished, courses were set, and the three heavy-hulled boats roared off into the darkness.

None of them noticed the lone silvery figure bobbing in the water, waving merrily.

Author's Note

This originally started as a non-canonical story, but I really like Jade, and this story actually feeds quite well into the next planned Amber story, so I think this story will end up in the official Amberverse.

Cheers to Seonthyris and all my readers!
