Chapter 8: The mystery mare.

The building looked run down and appeared to have not been lived in for years. It was as dark as the forest, and the grass was tall and wild. We walked through the "Once used to be happy" village as calm as we could, and just as we where heading along the path, another black shadow with red eyes appeared as if in thin air because of how fast it materialized. "Awwwww" it said in a low demonic tone. "You don't want to stay with us? Why not? We just want to play" We tried to keep our cool but with the combination of fear and adrenaline working in your legs. It's hard to not want to get the heck out of dodge. We where running, just dropping our stuff just so we could be lighter on our feet. Trailing down the path when another one appeared. "TO THE LEFT!" I yelled and there was a rock out of the only path leading out of here. There where poorly made pitsbut with spikes at the bottom. "C'mon Howl, team work to move the rock" He nodded and we shoved with all the strength we had. It was moving at a slow but steady pace. Zecora tried to hold it off with concoctions she could think of on the spot. But it was just moving faster. Me and Howl freaked out so much that we gave the rock our hardest shove with our shoulder hurting us in the most possible way. But it did move the bolder enough for us to escape. And just in time to, I heard a grunt from Zecora just as the Blood hoof was pulling back for a quick second. We made it just as it gained balance. We ran from that area and into the place where we came in. I was moving so fast I swear I could run through a fence and slam through it with no hesitation. We where making it to thew entrance and saw one of them, waiting for us. "Come now, dont you like us? Then I guess I will have to keep YOU HERE!" It sprinted towards us, and without hesitation I Punched it as hard as I could. It flew back a bit in a sitting position. So we take that exact moment to sprint out of there ourselves. As we where moving we saw them each individually rise out of the ground. We where sprinting even faster than we knew we could. We followed Howls lanterns to try and find our way back, and out of sheer luck we made it." We unpacked faster than a cartoon could and we booked it out of there. But there was a problem, none of us knew the way. We sit there waiting in fear, looking all around us to see if we hopefully lost them. But we didn't. They where just sitting there in silence, Then they decided to slowly but surely walk towards us. "This is it... where done for" Howl said in a sad tone of voice. But this fox wasn't giving up so easily, I went to thinking. I had thoughts racing through my head so fast that I couldn't keep up. (Oh come on man, what would Fluttershy d-) Then it hit me. (the necklace) I felt my wrist for it and "YES!" it was still there. I examined it as hard as I could to look for anything. But when I took it off to take a look, there was a quick flash of light that blinded us and there stood a mare. She had a long blonde mane, she was tan, had big glowing yellow eyes, and she had a magnifying glass on her flank that resembled the one I had. "I shall be the light to guide you out of this forest, I have a specialty of finding things and I know exactly where to take you guys"
A blood hoof was just in arms reach just as she glowed. And with another ball of light, they where gone. Out of nowhere she said "follow me" and followed the ball of light out of the forest.
