Chapter 5:Sunshine village

As Howl was giving me a dirty look when I finished packing all of our packs, the three of us went down the stairs and through the tarp like door. We go around the tent and find where the broken trail is, and we travel down the path. I reach into my backpack and felt around until I found my flashlight, I took it out and turned it on as we continued through the forest. "My fur's standing up, lets just go in a bit further and if we still can't find anything then we leave" I finally speak. "Don't worry Tricky, I shall mark the way with these wooden stakes with lanterns on them" As Howl took a steak out of his pack and forced it into the ground and balanced the lanterns handle on the top of the post. "I knew you where a scout, there was no doubt" Zecora said. "Thanks for noticing, they trained us on these types of situations" As we where going, Howl was marking the way just as the light from the last lantern dimmed a bit (I have no idea how many steaks and lanterns he has, but he's the wolf scout) as we walk through I started to lose interest until we came across a light. We where curious so we check it out. No matter how much fear we had. We walked through, pushing some vines out of the way. And we where greeted by a village. Not the type of village like you see in cartoons that are made of leaves and sticks. This was a legit village, with actual ponies. But the strange thing was that they where full grown, and had no cutie marks on their flanks. I had a nagging feeling about the village, my thought tried to race for an explination. Then it hit me. I try to keep my cool but Zecora has the same idea that I have.
"Why hello their strangers" A voice that made me jump. But the voice belonged to a happy looking stallion. He was green with a ruby red messy mane. "The names tan" he said. We said our names and he told us to have a wonderful time in this place called "Sunshine Village." "This place seems nice." Howl said. "This place is not normal, besides I am not that formal"S
"I know what you're saying Zecora, lets get out of here" I said
"Are we really not comfortable in a place with different ponies?" Howl spoke up
"No you don't understand, this place is..." as I was about to say something, The other ponies where giving us a "what do you know" look. "This place is a really nice place" As I sigh with releife that every pony was continuing with what they where doing. "Let's just look around" Howl said.
