The Date - Part 1

Kakashi and Iruka sat across from Naruto holding hands, Naruto had just explained what had happened between him and Kiba, he had made sure not to mentioned his name. Naruto felt himself blush the entire time, his face felt like it was on fire he was blushing that heavily.

" Well Naruto, that's quite a story." Iruka commented, his face pink with a blush, at explanation of what Naruto had been through. "It sounds like your attraction to this person is purely physical."

"Physical?"

"Yes Naruto." Kakashi chimed in. "The feelings you've been having is just your body wanting to have s... hmmmp..." Kakashi mumbled through Iruka's hand which had clamped over Kakashi's mouth.

"Meaning Naruto that yes, you are probably gay, but no, you're not in love with Mr X as you called him."

"So I'm gay uh?" Naruto sighed.

"You may actually be bisexual, I remember you having the a crush on Sakura." Kakashi added finally freeing himself from Iruka's hand.

"How do I know if I'm bi or not?"

"Well that's easy, go on a date with a girl. Most dates, unless you're a complete reject, end with a kiss. After the kiss you should have a good idea whether or not your gay, bi or straight. This could just be a phase where you're experimenting." Kakashi answered.

"Kakashi's right Naruto. Tell me Naruto have you ever... you know... had sex with a girl?" Iruka asked making the already blushing blond blush even harder.

"No." Naruto blushed. "I spent so much time and effort in my training with Pervy Sage, I never really thought about sex, with guys or girls."

"Really!?" Kakashi was shocked. "Even with Jiraiya, you never had the notion to have sex with anyone?"

"Is that so strange?" Naruto asked nervously.

"Jiraiya, one of the worlds greatest ninjas, is also one of the best porn... I mean adult entertainment book writers, and a real ladies man.. UH!" Iruka elbowed Kakashi in the ribs.

"What Kakashi means to say Naruto, is that no it's not strange, just a little surprising considering you were with Jiraiya."

********(Outside the Women's Hot Springs)********

Jiraiya sat peering through a small hole in the wooden fence surrounding the hot springs drooling at the sight of what lay on the other side. He sneezed smiling wide and wiped his nose.

"Some beautiful lady must be talking about me!" He grinned as he began to day dream of what the woman looked like.

"HEY?! WHO'S OVER THERE?!" A woman yelled on the other side of the fence.

"Oh shit!"

"Naruto, I want you to listen to me okay?" Iruka asked, trying to get him to focus on him and to ignore Kakashi, "You're the only one who really knows if you're gay or not. If you really want to find out if you're bisexual then go and ask a girl out on a date and see how things go."

"Okay Iruka-sensei."

"Secondly don't let this guy take advantage of you! He is only using you for himself and sooner or later he's just going to have had his fun and then leave you. Personally I think sex is for you to show your love and affection for someone, you don't have to have sex unless you want to, don't let him force you into it." Iruka explained.

"Okay, thank you Iruka-sensei!" Naruto smiled, feeling better and more sure with himself.

"Do you have any more questions Naruto?" Iruka asked with a smile, happy to see Naruto smiling again..

"No, I don't think so."

"Well if you have any questions you can come ask me anything."

"Thanks! I'm gonna go think about what I'm going to do, thanks for all the help!" Naruto smiled grabbing his sword and heading for the door.

"You're welcome Naruto!" Iruka replied as he watched him leave. After the door shut behind him he let out a sigh. "They grow up so fast!"

"Yeah..." Kakashi sighed in response, pulling Iruka into hug. "But I'm glad he's gone because his story made me so horny!"

"Kakashi..."Before Iruka could utter a response Kakashi pulled Iruka to the floor. "KAKASHI!" After a few moment of struggling Kakashi managed to pin Iruka's arms and began to nibble on his ear, Iruka felt his body go limp, all resistance drained from him as Kakashi went for his weak spot. "Oh... Kakashi..."

"Calm down Sakura!" Sasuke yelled.

"Sorry! I just didn't expect..." Sakura trailed off as she imagined the pair together.

"It's fine."

"So... wow." Sakura smiled.

"Are you going to help me or not?"

"Yes!" Sakura snapped pulling herself from her day dream. "Sorry, well first thing we need to do is find out if Naruto is into guys.

"I'm fairly confident he is."

"How can you be so sure?"

"..." Sasuke hesitated for a few moments. "Watching him suck face with Kiba is kind of obvious."

"Wait! What!? Kiba!?"

"Yeah... I followed him last night." Sasuke explained. "He went to the hot springs and ended up making out with Kiba." Sasuke seethed a scowl appearing on his face as the scene played in his head.

"Did anything else happen?!"

"I don't know..." Sasuke replied. "I couldn't bear to watch any more... so I left."

"Okay... so Naruto likes guys. Didn't expect that, he was always asking me out when we were younger."

"Maybe your constant rejection turned him gay." He said sarcastically, earning himself a glare.

"But if he's with Kiba..."

"We both know that Kiba doesn't do relationships." Sasuke interrupted. "That's not Kiba's style, he's probably got Naruto all confused, that he is manipulating him into doing what he wants. Naruto has been acting strange the last couple of days so I think he's seriously confused by the whole thing. It's confusing enough when you start having feeling for other guys, without having someone like Kiba there to take advantage."

"Naruto did seem very distracted at lunch today, do you think that's what Naruto wanted to speak to Kakashi about?"

"Maybe."

"Then maybe we should go and ask Kakashi what he and Naruto spoke about."

"No! I don't want to involve other people and besides Kakashi wouldn't betray Naruto's confidence like that, even for us."

"You're right. So what do we do?" Sakura asked.

"That's why I asked you for help."

"Hmmm..." Sakura began to think, this situation was a tricky one. "Well you could tell him how you feel, but if Naruto is as confused as you think, he might be scared off. If Kiba is just using Naruto for sex, then if you can win his heart, Naruto will come to you willingly."

"Sakura... That's pretty soppy."

"Well I'm sorry that you don't understand matters the heart like a woman does Sasuke! But that's how it's got to be! Now then! Lets go get you laid!" Sakura shouted as she pointed to the door in a dramatic fashion. Sasuke groaned loudly before pinching the bridge of his nose.

'I've already got a headache... I knew I'd regret this. This had better work.'

Naruto walked with no particular destination in mind, walking made him feel better, it allowed him to sink into his own little world. He was thinking about Iruka and Kakashi, two of the most important and influential people in his life, they had found happiness with each other. He wanted that, ever since he had come back to Konoha he had felt lonely, strange considering all his friends were here. When he was on the road with Jiraiya he never felt like this. He had always kept himself busy with training, here he was fifteen years old, he had never once seriously thought about dating. It was something he knew happened, boy asks a girl on a date and then if he does well the boy gets a kiss, but what if it's a boy and a boy? What happens then? He remembers all the bad mouthing people gave gay people, and he realised now that he had thought that what they said was true, being called gay was one of the worst things someone else could call you when you were a kid; but now he doubted that most kids didn't really understand it, just copying other people.

Then there's sex, sex is another thing he knew about, but again he never thought about it or understood where it fits into the grand scheme of things. Sex is where babies come from, when a guy and a girl, you know... do it. But what about when it's between two guys? 'Iruka said that sex was a way to show your love and affection to someone, so does that mean having a baby with someone is the ultimate form of love and affection? But two guys can't have a baby...'

"Hey there Naruto."

"Huh?" Naruto was drawn from his thoughts and looked up to see Kiba sitting on Akamaru's back. Akamaru had gotten big! The little white pup that used to sit on top of Kiba's head was now as big as a horse! "Akamaru got big!" Naruto exclaimed, distracted by the dramatic change in Akamaru, that he had completely forgotten about Kiba and the hot springs.

"What are you talking about?" Kiba asked confused.

"He used to ride around on your head!" Naruto exclaimed.

"He-he, well I guess I'm with him all the time that I kinda forgot and didn't notice that' he'd gotten so big." Kiba grinned before sliding off Akamaru's back and walking up to Naruto, he put his arm round Naruto's shoulder. "So how are you doing Naruto?"

"Uh... I'm doing okay..." He blushed, memories of the previous night rushing back. He looked at Kiba, it was the first time since he got back that the brunette was actually wearing clothes. He wore a tight leather jacket and the net vest he wore underneath, that allowed anyone who looked a clear view of his toned chest, after seeing him naked in the hot springs it was very easy to visualise him wearing nothing at all. "S-so what are you up to?" Naruto asked timidly trying to act normal.

"Just waiting for Kurenai-sensei." Kiba explained. "She wants us to go training this afternoon, pain in the ass!"

"That's just because you're lazy Kiba." Came a voice from behind them. They both turned to see Shino walking towards them, wearing a heavy green trench coat with the hood up, despite the hot weather, and wearing sun glasses. The glasses and the collar of the coat hid most of his face from view. "It's good to see you again Naruto."

"Oh... yeah you too..." Naruto smiled. "Uh... What's your name again?" Shino visibly deflated, his shoulder slumped and seemed very depressed.

"You should remember the names of the people you grow up with..." Shino sulked.

"Sorry, but I've been away for a couple of years. You can't expect me to remember every ones name!"

"But you remembered Kiba and Akamaru's names!"

"Sorry..." Naruto felt bad because he had obviously hurt his feelings.

"H-hello... N-Naruto-kun." Came a squeaky voice behind Naruto. Naruto turned to see Hinata, she had grown taller since he had last seen her, her hair had grown a longer as well, her black hair flowed down her shoulders giving her a much more womanly look compared to the girl he remembered. She stood there looking to the side with a blush on her face and pressing her index fingers together nervously, just like he wondered how Shino could wear such a heavy coat in the middle of summer, he wondered how she could wear a fleece in this weather, it was zipped all the way up, Naruto mistook her blush for her feeling too warm.

"Hey, Hinata!" He grinned.

"Get over it Shino!" Kiba yelled, Naruto turned to see that Shino was now slumped against a wooden fence acting even more depressed than he was a few moments ago.

'Shit! Shino, that's his name! Kiba got me so flustered...' Naruto silently cursed, 'I can't let Kiba get to me, I have to follow Iruka's advice and tell him to... wait that's it!'

"Hinata!" Naruto yelled suddenly leaning in so close that his face was inches away from Hinata's her white eyes as wide as dinner plates and the blush on her face intensified. "Will you go on a date with me?
