#11 of Personal Work

Just a simple transformation story inspired from a conversation with Tombfyre about a dream he had, and well, there ya go. I couldn't stop writing this even if I tried, just needed to get it out. xD Everyone enjoy!

After college, most people expect themselves to start at the bottom of the rung, working the dead end fast food jobs or retail within their first few months in the real world. They'd work their way up through the ladder before finally landing a decent job, connections or otherwise. What Antony didn't expect was working in a facility full of dragons. Yes, dragons.

Having only finished as an undergraduate, Antony had decided to apply for a few low end jobs to see if it would take him anywhere. If anyone had even bothered looking at his resume. He wasn't the most motivated person, having only finished with a major in mathematics and a minor in creative writing. Apparently someone had taken interest (or perhaps pity) and gave the man a small job. Antony took a deep breath, adjusting his tie for what seemed like the millionth time.

He'd been called up for a follow up interview and predictably, he freaked out. This 'Fyreworks' place had taken an interest in him in some way. It could have been due to the his references from school or something he didn't know about. Due to the economy and the chances of getting another job were low, Anthony was willing to take anything he could get, even if it was a low accountant job. He lived a mostly decent life, having left his home at the age of 18 for school. It was then he learned how things really worked. While tuition was paid for with help from his family, he had to scrounge up everything himself. Antony's social life (or lack thereof) left him with little friends outside of the classmates he tutored or helped with during midterms or finals, so maybe a new environment would give him the push he needed to go out and make some acquaintances.

Browsing his phone to take the stress, he hadn't noticed that he was called into the next room where he'd meet his interviewer. In a huff, Antony stood up and nervously stepped inside. "H-hello sir. I'm really glad you decided to call-"

"Sit."

Antony blinked rapidly at the deep voice, sitting down on the nearest chair without hesitation. Before him stood an incredibly tall figure that somehow managed to fit in a suit, despite those gigantic curves and bulges. With a flick of the shades, Antony blinked in surprise, his jaw hanging. His interviewer had scales. And a pair of wings folded behind him.

The hell have I gotten myself into... Antony thought, staring at the male, eyes wide and mouth open.

"You're probably wondering what the hell you've gotten yourself into, right?" The mass of scales boomed, claws rapping on the table.

_D-did he read my mind or something? _

It was then Antony took a much more observing look. The brutish face, the scowling muzzle and orange scales stood out the most. The creature didn't seem to have any ears, only a pair of long, ivory horns and a piercing at the end of his nostril that glinted in the sunlight, bright red eyes staring at him. Behind him, Antony would see a long, orange scaled tail swishing and snaking about almost like he was bored. He didn't even take into account the dragon's figure and stature. He was _built. _Attached to that large orange hand that rapped on the wooden table were bulging arms screaming for space in that brown suit and white shirt underneath. Muscle seemed to be packed onto every single part of that body. Antony couldn't help but stare at the looming creature's obviously straining suit as it attempted to contain the two slabs of meat that were his pecs. They looked like they'd shred that attire open if he took a deep breath!

The orange dragon snorted, letting out a puff of smoke and gathering Antony's undivided attention once more. After awe and surprise had set in, so did fear and uncertainty once more.

"Now, since you didn't answer my question and you keep staring at my chest, I'm going to guess that you don't know what you're actually in for." The orange scaled dragon spoke. Antony nodded slowly, garnering a huff of irritation from the creature.

"Did you even bother to read up about what this place does?"

"Uh...sort of. I know this Fyreworks place specializes in various shampoos, drinks, even some clothing, but that's about it..." Antony muttered.

Fyreworks Inc had been a slowly up and coming shop back several years ago. In that time, the place simply boomed when it underwent a change of management and was now one of the biggest and climbing up to be incredibly well known. Unless you actually had a job at the place, anything that was on the internet was incredibly scarce.

"Well, that's true and all, but there's also something under the surface, which you can clearly see here. I'll be brutal here, we're sort of desperate in terms of applicants and you're just the only one that seemed to catch my superior's eye for whatever reason, so I'll cut this meeting short. I just have one question; Are you content with the life you have now? Do you see any sort of change or deviation in your future? If you take this position, a lot of things will change. In your case, I'm not sure what, but I'm under the assumption for a boy that's just out of school, it won't be pretty."

Antony resumed his surprised and slack-jawed look. That was...a hell of a heavy question. If he had half a mind, he would have stepped out of the door right now. But something inside the back of his head was telling him to stay, to see this through. He could admit, he didn't have much of a life to begin with. Having been kicked out of his house right after college and whatever cluster of friends he had scattered to the winds, he didn't have many attachments. Whatever this thing was going on about, maybe a change of pace would be a good thing.

Antony shook his head. "I'll take it. Not like I have much to lose."

The orange dragon raised a scaled brow in mild amusement before a grin replaced that scowl on his face. He extended a giant hand, giving a firm shake.

"If you say so. You start Monday. And the name's Vaeros, but call me Rick unless I say otherwise or you're on company grounds."

"Why?"

Vaeros let out a derisive snort, tapping his nose ring with a claw. "Oh, you'll find out soon. Now, mind getting out of here? Can't breathe in this damn suit..." he muttered, a hand flying up to his suit to unbutton his shirt a tad, giant masses of light orange appearing from the v-neck. Antony stared in surprise as the dragon undressed himself before he was snapped out of his surprise with a snarl telling him to leave.

Antony's weekend was spent reading up more on Fyreworks Inc and anything relating to dragons. He was still in the firm belief that he had dreamed up that entire scenario, but the smell of the male's body, the sweat on his interview clothes and folder explaining his position in detail along with a few other pamphlets shot down that theory. Still, he couldn't ignore that he'd seen actual dragon. How the hell was this not in the news or anything? Shit, how was this not on the internet, a place where secrets ran free? He guessed that this place must be extremely tight lipped for mythical creatures to be traipsing about like it was nothing. He couldn't help but wonder how Rick/Vaeros exactly got home, or if he lived at the place, but he'd find out soon.

Monday came in a slow crawl, and Antony stared at the Fyreworks building once more. The second tallest structure in the entire vicinity, staring down at the human like a freshly provided meal. "Come on, you can do this..." he repeated to himself as he stepped through the automated doors. The familiar lobby greeted him, the security guard standing in full view. Fishing out the I.D card given to him after running out of the place last week, the guard stared at him for a few moments before handing it with a snarl and incredibly familiar sounding growl.

Antony couldn't help but notice the piercing on his ear, but simply continued into the building. An elevator ride to the 10th floor and Antony found himself in the dragon's den, in a literal sense.

The floor resembled any sort of work place. Work spaces separated by cubicles, a water cooler here or there. The only difference was that everyone seemed to be a dragon of a varying color, build, and overall size and appearance. A bubble of fear rose up in the male's throat before he pushed it back down. He couldn't help but be nervous! A bunch of beasts of legend who were known to either be completely evil or plain crazy were right in his face!

Before he even knew it, some of the conversation had died down and a few of them were directly staring at him. A few had a curious look on their faces, possibly due to being the new guy. A few others had a predatory expression, tails idly swishing about like they were going to pounce and gnaw on his bones for their lunch break. Antony merely stepped forward, heading to his cubicle.

"Looks like we got some fresh meat, guys! How long do you think he'll last?"

"Come on man, leave him alone, can't you see the little guy's scared out of his skin?"

These were some of the comments that Antony had to deal with. It didn't help that being in a floor, and possibly building full of bipedal dragons was incredibly surreal, the fact that he was quite literally the shortest man here didn't help matters. At 5'11, Antony was incredibly average for his height. Every other draconian scaled male here towered over him by at least two feet or so, and _that _was the average here. The tallest one Antony had seen ranged at at least 13 feet, but something told him that they got even bigger. The builds varied in many ways, ranging from gigantic beings of muscle that strained their work clothes and immense crotch bulges (that admittedly, made him feel quite small) to those that were literal blobs of fat with bellies that entered the room before them and packing plenty everywhere. He didn't find a decent medium, but it seemed he was that medium. Antony was quite skinny for his height, and this didn't help in any way.

What the human couldn't help but notice was that every employee here had some sort of piercing on their body, ranging from one to many either on their faces, ears, horns, or unmentionable places (he'd caught an eye full of one while on a bathroom break). His curiosity was bounding, but how the hell did you question something that could possibly step on or eat you whole without so much as breaking a sweat?

A few hours into his first day and Antony was a nervous wreck. He'd buried himself into his work, staring at his computer and simply do as he was told in some attempt to not make things any more awkward than they were during his lunch break. Having brought his own lunch, he'd stepped into the break room to find that it was already occupied by several dragons of the incredibly muscular kind talking about stuff ranging to scientific topics to taste in classical music. Antony merely stepped back without a word, eating at his cubicle.

Silently clacking away at his keyboard, a shadow loomed over him, making him cease his work. The male sighed, turning around slowly to see a yellow, scaled face with fins on the side grinning right back at him.

"H-hey..." Antony smiled back in response before going back to his work.

The dragon scowled, going over to his cubicle and setting a large arm on the top. "Come on man, I've been watching you all day, why do you look like a chicken in a slaughterhouse? If you're nervous, don't be."

Antony huffed, turning around and staring up at the taller male. "And why shouldn't I be? Today's been the least normal day in my entire life, and I have no idea how the hell...this happened." the human groaned, pinching the bridge of his nose.

The dragon snorted, rubbing the underside of his chin. He blinked, snapping his fingers. "Ahh, I know a way I can help you. I normally don't do this with fresh meat, but I think you could use it."

Antony flinched at the comparison, but listened nonetheless. The lumbering dragon adjusted the piercing on his fin, and his figure began to flicker slightly before effectively disappearing, a rather pudgy man with a piercing on his ear replacing the hulk of a dragon in front of him. Antony blinked in surprise, almost falling out of his seat.

"See? Just like you. Name's Ken, at least like this." he said, shrugging his shoulders.

"B-but how?"

Ken blinked at Antony before sighing. "Yeah, this is what I was talking about. Figure I should give you a hand before you go crazy. You know how everyone here's a dragon, for reasons unknown and everyone has a piercing somewhere?"

Antony nodded.

"Yeah, that's all on purpose. Fyreworks Inc also works on a few other stuff. I can't really say what, considering this is your first day and all, but I'll give you a hand while you're here. Besides, you look like you could use a friend." Ken finished.

The two shared a handshake.

"Now, what I can tell you about are the earrings and all that. These are here so we can retain a seemingly normal appearance outside of the company grounds and friends." Ken demonstrated by adjusting his earring once more, turning back into the ten foot yellow scaled mass of muscle. Antony yelped in surprise, falling out of his chair. Ken chuckled and simply put the human back. The dragon adjust himself and sat towards the exit of the cubicle. Alone, he took up almost all of the space when taking to account that Ken was wide and muscular, but also possessed a massive belly that looked firm to the touch and poked out of the underside of his shirt. He couldn't keep the damn thing decent, but he didn't care.

"So that's why I didn't find anything out about this on the internet." Antony questioned. "Do you also have another name like that Vaeros guy?"

Ken couldn't help but let out a heavy guffaw. "Oh, that guy? Yeah, Rick does that cause, well, he's a dick and decided to take on another name because he could. We all keep our names here, if that was any sort of worry.

Antony didn't mean to, but he let out a sigh of relief. "Okay, that's..something. Mind if I ask how you and the other got like this?"

Ken hummed, rubbing his belly through his shirt slowly, a habit he'd come to heavily enjoy. "I can...but that'd ruin the surprise." he grinned widely, showing off those bright pearly whites.

Having finished his work for the day, he bombarded Ken with a multitude of questions in some attempt to slip the answer out of him. Sadly, Ken had remained quiet, but happily answered any other questions like who to avoid, who to talk to and how to avoid having your lunch eaten by someone else. Some of the bigger guys had ravenous appetites, so sometimes an entire floor would be missing their food, or be missing just one person until they appeared at the end of the day. Ken would have bothered to explain, but he assumed Antony wasn't ready for something like that.

The workdays seemingly flew by as Antony began to come out of his shell, conversing with other co-workers and overall being social. He still had to watch himself, as he'd gotten several threats of being eaten, along with one of the fatter guys drooling at him like he was an appetizer.

Soon enough, Antony had been working as one of Fyrework's accountants a few days later. While it was a small move up the ladder, everyone seemed t congratulate him as if he'd gotten a full promotion. Ken had taken him out to a small company party where they spent the night drinking and chatting well into the wee hours of the morning.

The next Monday, a few weeks or so after his employment came back. Antony had greeted the guard with a wave, going up to his floor and cubicle. After setting down his things, he walked to the empty kitchen, making himself a pot of coffee. A claw tapped on his shoulder, prompting the male to turn around to see a blue scaled dragon wearing nothing but a straining short sleeve shirt and cargo pants that didn't do much to hide that straining package he possessed.

"Mornin. Boss wants to see you for a bit. Said something about a meeting." the dragon left without a word.

Antony blinked, and shrugged. He'd just gotten here, so he couldn't be in trouble unless he screwed up a few numbers. Uncertainty settling, he quickly made his coffee, drinking it on the way to the elevator and going to the next floor reserved for company meetings. On his way, everyone but him seemed to know the reason he was here. A few of the female employees had their eye on him as well, either whispering to themselves or just staring. A new thing that he noticed were that some of the ones on this floor were human as well. Either they were new or didn't go through the same process.

After being led, Antony was greeted with a rather large room, bigger than any of the other ones he'd seen in his time here. It was also filled with numerous dragons, some big or wide builds. He couldn't spot anyone he recognized except Vaeros, er, Rick in the center of the round table that seated everyone.

"Now that we're all here, let's get down to business. Gentlemen, today, we've another one possibly joining our ranks." he boomed. Every pair of eyes were soon on the small human, who merely stared in shock and awe.

"Wait, what?"

"Well, seems like you've been quite the hit with your co-workers, and some of them have even vouched for you. Provided you don't spill the beans about what goes on here and, well, don't be stupid." Rick explained.

Antony nodded dumbly.

Rick coughed, clearing his throat. "Well, Fyreworks Inc not only works on various objects, but we also dabble in, how would you call it...scientific objects toward bettering man. Or however the hell you wanna spice it up. Basically we work on stuff besides that. Like growth drinks focused on bulking up in giant amounts within a few hours, shrinking, and much more. One of them includes drinks and foods changing people to different species. Obviously, we don't sell these yet and just keep them within the company."

"Now, this is completely optional and we won't think of you any less. You will, however, still get some perks and promotions-"

"Sure, I'll do it."

Rick stared at Antony, brow raised. "Are you sure?"

He nodded firmly. "Yeah. To be honest, it does sound interesting, and I could use a change in my life. Plus...I've been wondering how the hell to turn into one since my first week here."Antony blushed a bit, scratching a cheek.

Rick huffed, rolling his eyes and fishing something out of his pocket and throwing it to Antony. The human stared at the object in his hand, a bottle filled with a purple, fizzy liquid. He opened the bottle, everyone staring at him intently, a few with a grin on their faces of what was coming up next. On the side of the bottle was labeled with "Fyreworks Fizz: Guaranteed to put a growl in your gut!" Antony quickly guzzled down the contents, letting out a huge burp. There were a few scattered applause.

A few seconds later, Antony grumbled, patting his stomach as he let out a few scattered burps in some attempt to get the fizzy feeling out of the way. The feeling stuck to the pit of his stomach and was soon replaced with a minor amount of pain. Antony gripped his stomach, kneeling to the ground with a few grunts of pain as he felt something in the pit of his stomach beginning to force its way out. His body flexed in his work clothes, his muscles not even straining the fabric until he countinued flexing, muscles beginning to strain and bulk up in size along with the rest of his body. His face contorted and twisted, the makings of a muzzle forming changing the proportions of his face. The growing male's muscles began to finally strain his shirt, groaning in pain. His pants and shirt began to ride up as he increased in height as well.

As Antony bulked up in size, he began to scratch his arms and any sort of skin he could, the material beginning to warp and change. With every scratch, the skin began turning to thick purple, scales forming on the surface. Antony writhed and shifted around in pain, laying down and merely letting the feeling overtake him. Buttons popped from his shirt, purple pecs beginning to swell up in size, his torso beginning to define, row after row of scaled abs appearing as well. His biceps flexed and peaked with newfound size, forearms bulging as well. Small veins littered his body, pushing against the scales lightly. His thighs began to rub against another, fighting for space along with his junk, which had increased in size and girth as well. If he had been turned around, he would have seen a thick, scaled tail thrashing about. The process soon finished, leaving a hulking purple dragon, clothing shredded and ripped, leaving him naked in the conference room.

Antony stood, the sudden change his size causing him to groan and grip his head. "Ugh..." he groaned, giving a loud, resounding burp that shook the room. Everyone let out another round of applause, some even giving a few wolf whistles. Rick stepped forward, giving Antony a pat on the back. The orange dragon had to actually look up at him, a surprising development. The drink had different effects on different people, but he didn't expect that much of a change. If he had to guess, the newly changed dragon ranged at about 12'-14' to his 10'.

"Well, that was an interesting development, how do you feel?"

"Ugh...kinda weird, but great at the same time." Antony grunted, letting out another burp.

"The fizzy feeling will go away after a bit. I suggest you go take a break for a bit...and go to the supply closet for some new clothes. You wouldn't believe how many shirts people rip through." Rick chuckled.

At the mention of new clothes, Antony took a look at himself, chin slamming down into the wide and and massive slabs of his chest. He gave them an experimental grope and squeeze, the dragon groaning a bit from the sheer feeling. The bulky pecs felt incredibly firm and thick to the touch, a flex almost taking his entire chin. That didn't even compare to the size of his arms and the rest of him. Before Antony could take a look at himself, he was shaken out of his amazement with a perverted whistle. Realizing he was in the presence of his co-workers, his face blushed red before Rick directed him out and to the nearest closet to change clothes.

A few minutes later, Antony stepped out of the closet, wearing a simple white shirt that clung to his immense torso and a pair of cargo shorts. His face flushed red after he looked down at the sizable bulge he was sporting. Adjusting his tie, he walked back to the elevator to find a private place in the building. Apparently he was granted a slightly extended break to allow himself to get used to his new body. Soon after, he'd get a piercing (maybe his nose, that could work) tonight before his day was over.

"Gotta admit...this isn't all that bad." Antony muttered to himself as he flexed an arm, the sleeve straining before relaxed it. Least he could say he went through a total change and started at a higher point in the ladder. Now, he could probably eat the ladder. The rest of his day was spent getting adjusted to his new size and getting numerous spare clothes due to accidentally breaking his shirt or ripping his shorts at the seams.
