Well, As the day went on, I never heard back from Cindy. After a couple hours, I decided to call the doctor's office to see if everything is ok. Getting up from the chair, I walked into the kitchen and put the dishes into the dishwasher. Taking a glance out the back window nearby, I sigh happily, glad to have gotten a nice house with a decent backyard, something both Cindy and I had as kids. Shaking my head some to clear my thoughts, I look back to the television, and see for a few seconds, that there is some government agency looking for anyone with information.

Getting to the phone and dialing the number, I was told that no one by the name of Cindy had been there. That sent warning bells going through my head, and made me slam the phone down. Growling out, I began to pace back and forth, and realized my tail was poofed out and my ears were up and attentive.... Great, now I've got to wear a hat at work as well.

Pacing about the living room, the carpet feeling really nice against my toes, I think and begin to sniff the air out of curiosity. Figuring out that as I now had a muzzle my sense of smell was heightened, but it didn't seem so. Moving about the house, I tried to find something of Cindy's she had worn recently to see if I just needed the scent. I know, seems a bit odd to do something, and I could just grab her pajamas, right? Not so, as the only thing I had to work with was her clothes from yesterday, and those were not that good as it was faint.

Shrugging some, I left the house and began looking about. Dressed in a jogging suit, I curl my tail around my waist to look like a belt, and wear a baseball cap with holes cut, just so it wouldn't look so bad.Trying to go to her usual hangouts, I found the trail she went. First, to the coffee shop, where I ran into our friends, and asked when Cindy had been by. Jessica, a very nice looking redhead, said she hadn't seen Cindy since this morning at about 8am when she said she was heading to the doctor as she felt oddly sick.

Then, I walked by the park, only to be chased by some dogs. Guess some things never change, heh. Anyways, as I ran through the park, I did manage to get away from the dogs, only to run into what felt like a brick wall. Landing on your tail hurts! Anyways, looking up, I suddenly got scared, as staring down at me was a tiger. Not a four legged one, but one inf a black suit and white tie. Taking the time to realize that she, yes SHE, was looking down at me, I took the opportunity to glance along her body. What can I say, I'm a guy, and I cannot stop myself sometimes.

Picking me up and onto my feet, she growls and motions for me to follow her.

"Who are you?" I asked her as we walked, trying to get some information out of her, though my tail seemed to snake out from around my waist, as it seemed that she wouldn't mind.

"None of your business, but your girlfriend is safe." Her voice was firm yet enticing, like a school principal trying to find out what happened after a fight.

"Where is Cindy? What did you do to her?" Many other questions were going through my head, but those are all I got out before we stopped and she turned to face me again.

"Your questions will be answered when we get down into the concourse." She then looked about to find a tree marked with an odd symbol, and pushed it.

I heard the whirring of gears and nearly jumped when the tree began to fall, thinking she had pushes it over with her strength. Under the tree was a circular disc which I was told to stand on. It was only built for one, apparently and while I wasn't against finding out what happened to Cindy, I was a bit apprehensive about what was going on. Soon as I was on it, the floor fell away, dropping me down in a tunnel, taking me who knows where.
