Hidden Scales

Its about a dragon flying through the air. Searching the land below for a sister who is hiding

Soaring above the bright blue sky
Wings wide and head held high
Crisp wind running through my scales
Muscles rippling from head to tail
The ground below so vast and wide
My eyes are prone and my prey can't hide
Lying in wait in the tall green grass
Waiting for my form to pass
I see rustling far down below
The creature is moving so very slow
Circling above for my chance to strike
It yells out to me to take a hike
A smile adorned my scaly lips
Looking down at my little sis
Even though she tries to act tough
Her cute voice made me laugh
As she stared I began my decent
Wings out and knees bent
As I land she runs over to me
Head nuzzling against my knee
She looks up with a tired smile
I look back for quite awhile
Our gazes turn to our home
Knowing that we will never be alone
