Massive Spoilers Ahead!

Yukiomaru may have battled against the Creeper leaders, the Perfected Infections that called the shots, and ended the war with the help of Euno's defection but the war still must end and its peace ensured.

Smaller ships looked like insects buzzing around a herd of larger animals of the capital ships. While some of the smaller vessels were infected, and a parasite looking for a place to latch on to one of the individuals of the herd, others were fighting to protect them. A constant battle was waged among the swarms.

The alien Velsh'nark had been on the UDAS flagship, Hyourasky Casa, but after Nishant had successfully defended the ship, the alien thought it to be better if he were to rejoin on the fight in his fighter class vessel.

With his eyes squinted and gazing through the cockpit window of his single fighter, the alien trailed an infected small ship. The Hacker Infection that was controlling the ship was reckless, and consistently crossed paths with other fights among the other dogfights. Velsh'nark narrowly dodged crashing into intercepting fighters, and continued to stay on the tail of infected vessel.

It flew directly for a large capital class ship, before pulling away and going underneath it. Velsh'nark's vessel dodged the large ship by pulling up and going around. When he rounded the large ship, avoiding from crashing into its shields, he was now lined up with the enemy vessel. Firing twin guns, the projectiles imipacted on the vessel and burned through the hull easily. The plasma-based projectile burned the infection on the ship, fried the wires and caused the engine to overload.

Velsh'nark kept his momentum, and flew by the ship moments before it exploded into a ball of flames. Debris from the ship fell short of touching the alien fighter's shields. Another infected ship passed through his sights, and Velsh'nark instantly fired. The infected ship was a large transport vessel and the rounds tore through the hull but the engines were missed and the ship continued forward with only minor damage.

Before Velsh'nark could turn in his ship to engage, another ship pursued and fired at infected transport ship. It was a ship from the UDAS, and even though the projectiles were still a little crude, they damaged the transport vessel's engines enough to cause them to overload.

The momentum of his ship soon took the sight of the engagement away from Velsh'nark. Still near one of one of the UDAS ships, Velsh'narks ship was jolted from a large blast detonating on the nearby large ship.

A larger capital ship that was infected had made it through the artillery fire and got in range for the damaged guns to take aim on another ship. Velsh'nark's ship was caught in the exchange, but he accelerated away from the fire solution.

Weapons as large as Velsh'narks Guardian ship returned fire on the infected ship. Several ships passed by, also avoiding the exchange of fire except for the Creepers who carelessly tried to lure other ships to their demise.

While the Creepers failed to lure in the UDAS pilots, the UDAS warship was also hammering their infected warship. The friendly capital ship deflected the incoming projectiles with the shield, and suffered no real damage.

In the short exchange, the Creeper-infected ship was heavily damaged but no critical hit was issued. Which is why Velsh'nark was surprised to see that it stopped attacking the UDAS, and started to turn to flee. Not only was it a surprise because the Creeper vessel wasn't that damaged, but also because that the Creepers did not concern themselves about their own individual safety, and they never retreated.

The UDAS warship did not pursue, and halted fire as well, seeing the Creeper retreat. Velsh'nark, however, did pursue when he saw that the infected vessel had cracked engines. He pushed his engines to the max, and rocketed forward toward the fleeing vessel.

Once he was in range, Velsh'nark fired at the vessel's engines targeted the crack in them. He had expected for the ship to respond aggressively, or at least for some of its escorts that were fleeing with it to turn to attack but none of them did.

The plasma projectiles burned through the engine, creating a display of fireworks as the engine's overloaded. Secondary explosions tore the engines apart, and effectively slowed down the vessel.

Velsh'nark did not relent and fired a pair of missiles into the open wound of the ship, as the explosions continued to ripple through it. The core must have been hit as the posterior end of the ship swelled before an explosion cracked through the hulls and blew it apart.

Pulling away from the destroyed vessel, Velsh'nark also witnessed a Klienestov be consumed by a plume of fire. It was then that he noticed the Creeper forces were facing away from the fleets. The Creepers were pulling back from the battle.

They were retreating.

The fleets had continued to fire until like a dying storm, the exchange of lethal projectiles slowly halted. The fleets did not pursue, both because they did not wish to be lured to pursue a feigned retreat, and because there were far too many ships damaged.

Velsh'nark watched as the entire force of the Creepers retreated for a moment before he turned back to the fleets. The commanders of the forces were ordering to refuel and rearm in preparation for a possible second assault.

The alien steered his ship back to Hyourasky Casa, since he was fighting among the furred soldiers of the UDAS.

In the distance the large ship was barely visible beyond the other warships that blocked Velsh'nark's line of sight. Moving around the now inactive ships, the alien also had to avoid the massive amount of debris that was floating around the ships. Most of it was infected machinery or the dead remains of the Creeper forces such as the Insectoids or the lethal winged serpents.

The other single fighters were heading back to their home ships as well. It did not take long for Velsh'nark to arrive in the hangar of the destroyer that acted as the flagship of the UDAS. Deactivating the ship's systems, Velsh'nark pulled back the hatch and climbed out of the single fighter class ship.

The tall alien towered over the armored soldiers of the UDAS. They were busy trying to recover from an attack as the ship had been bordered again so Velsh'nark tried to stay out of their way as he headed toward the bridge of the ship.

Hyourasky Casa had suffered a bit of damage internally too, due to the Creeper infections that made it onboard but the ship wasn't infected itself.

The damaged was limited to the entry points. The deeper inside the vessel that the alien walked, the less damage there was to be seen. Enter the bridge, it looked practically untouched; except for the crew, their fur was bristled and they were still stressed.

"General Vale," Velsh'nark addressed the UDAS officer appropriately. On the main screen, the battlefield was replaced with several different windows of the leaders of the fleets.

"The Creepers have pulled back across the sector," the Head Guardian said, his voice being translated into several languages. "We have dealt massive causalities to them but do not think for a second that they are pulling back because they feel defeated. They have limitless numbers; so they're preparing for something."

A beep sounded from the screen, and another one showed up. On the screen appeared a familiar young white furred soldier of the UDAS.

"Ship classification Drach'n Fury is in range," one of the officers reported. In the distance, among the still retreating Creepers had appeared Drach'n Fury, and everyone was more than a little skeptical of why the ship was among the Creepers.

"Admiral Alexander," Lead General Vale said. The rest fell silent as they thought of their own conclusions, many of which were not pleasant. "What are you doing here?"

"Ending the war," Yukiomaru said. His expression betrayed his realization of how that phrase might have been misinterpreted. "The Creepers' leader has been defeated. Their military force will disperse and wither."

"Where have you been?" Lead General Vale asked.

Velsh'nark stared at the fox's expression, seeing that he almost looked relieved. If he was to truly betray the fleets, he would have a look of determination.

"How is it that you claim to have defeated the Creepers?" the Stealth leader asked. It was obvious that this alien, who did not like to show himself too often due to their technology, was more than skeptical of trusting Yukiomaru Alexander.

"This war has become too costly," a strange voice answered. In the screen walked over a amphibian alien that was a known Creeper of the Perfected Infection classification. Yukiomaru stepped back, where he was joined by the pine marten Jun. "The Elder was determined in his warpath, that he neglected to see how many innocent planets were being destroyed. I, with the assistance of Yukiomaru Alexander, destroyed the Elder. I claimed leadership of the Creeper forces, and intend to put a stop to this war."

"This is ludicrous!" exclaimed the Stealth. "Do you think we'll so easily forgive you destroying our homeplanet? Now that you've caused so much damage, you want to stop fighting when we possess a serious threat to you?"

"That's enough," the Guardian leader said, scolding the aggressive alien before turning her attention to Euno. "We have been fighting your kind for over one hundred thousand generations. What has changed now? Why would the Creepers seek peace now, after you've destroyed so much?"

"Because of them," Euno said, pointing back at Yukiomaru and Jun who were watching in the background. "Us Blessed Ones have existed since the fall of your home planet, 'Guardian'. Yet, Yukiomaru Alexander is the first one to have held onto his love of his friends strong enough to refuse the Creeper's expanding mentality."

"You've been to our world?" asked the Guardian. She was shocked and surprised but it was also obvious that she was envious.

"Yes," Euno answered. "And with negotiation, your race may return there. All of you may return to your home planets, with the terms that you'll not destroy it with your own selfish expansion."

"Selfish expansion?" the Stealth spat. "Your race expanded into our territory and destroyed everything we have!"

"And I'll do it again if you are determined in your self-destructive ways," Euno threatened, his expression souring. The Stealth was furious by the comment.

"Euno," said Lead General Vale, before the Stealth could respond. "If you are true to your intention of ending the war, then we are open to negotiations of peace."

"I am glad to hear some of you have sense," Euno said. "I will place myself in your escort for futher negotiations. For now, I will request for a cease-fire between our forces. The converters are staying back, and the Head Converters will remain dormant. There is no threat to you, unless they're provoked."

"The station built in defense of our home world, P.A.W. will be sufficient for negotiations, agreed?"

The majority of the aliens agreed to it, but the Stealth leader didn't agree or disagree and simply went offline. When Euno went offline as well, the orders were given for the majority of the fleets to fall back. The Stealth's disappeared soon enough, but the rest obeyed the order. The platforms remained along with a good amount of ships while they'd remain on patrol during negotiations.

Drach'n Fury was heavily escorted, and soldiers arrived on the flagship to ensure that the crew of the ship was not infected, and that this whole negotiation wasn't a setup.

For the next couple weeks, the fleets would be on high alert but they would all arrive back to the Huli system soon, and the entire galaxy would finally learn to coexist.

Unless the Stealths refused to accept a plan for coexistence.
