The Revenge of Smith
Ok I decided to put your minds at ease at deciding a winner between Jackie and Smith, but don't worry I intend to continue my championship duel. This chapter takes place the night before my duel with Angel, as I alway's like to say let's duel.
The night before my big duel with Angel, me and Jackie went to a the hotel lobby to celebrate me going into the finals. So me and Jackie are just hanging out having a few drinks, non-alcholic of course. While we're doing that, Smith is in his hotel suite, looking out his window, with his arms crossed over his chest, thinking to himself as he looks out his room window.
'That absurd punk Cypress humiliated me today, I'm gonna end this tonight.' He turns around and grab his coat and duel disk, putting them both on and heads out of his room.
"I don't know Spence, that Angel chick is pretty hard. You saw the ass kicking she gave me today." Jackie said to me, sitting across the table from me in a blue shirt and jeans
I nod "I saw my friend, but I'll try my best tomorrow." I say with a little doubt in my voice
"I still believe in you my friend" Jackie said
"I know you do, guess that's enough reason to leave doubt out" I chuckle with a smile
"There you go, that's the spirit my friend. Now let's party" he smiles and raises his soda to me, sipping it, but he get's interrupted.
"Well the parties over, Cypress." said a rather familiar voice
"Only one fur call's me by my last name, is Smith standing behind me." I nod and Jackie looks behind him, seeing Smith standing there.
"Hey Smith, come to join the party?"
"Does it look like I'm here to party Cypress? I'm here to kick your ass" Smith says with a growl
"Whoa, there's no need for that kind of language rich boy. Alright I'll duel you" Jackie says calmy, sipping the last of his soda. He puts the glass down and put's on his duel disk, that was next to him the whole time.
Jackie stands facing Smith "but the loser pays for the drinks" he says feeling cocky
"You're on Cypress" Smith agreeing, he raises his left arm that his disk is on. Two hologram projectors shoot out of it, they both activate their duel disks, life point counters set and draw 5 card.
"Let's duel" they both say
Smith LP: 4000 Jackie LP:4000
"I'll start this time rich boy" Jackie says drawing his sixth card "first I summon Panther Warrior (ATK/2000 DEF/1600) and set 2 cards face down, ending my turn" his panther takes to the field and 2 cards appear face down behind it
Smith draws "I play the field spell Mountain" he plays the card in the field slot, a mountain background surrounds them, "then I summon Luster Dragon (ATK/2100 DEF/1800) I activate Mystical Space Typhoon, on your first face down card" Smith showed the card to Jackie and a gust of wind destroys his card "attack his panther now" The attack lands destroying his panther
Smith LP:4000 Jackie LP:3900
"I'll end my turn with a face down card, your move Cypress" a card appears behind his dragon
Jackie draws "I summon Gearfried the iron knight (ATK/1800 DEF/1600) then I play Graceful Dice" the angel appears from his card with a blue die and it drops the die, the die rolls a few times before stopping and landing on a 5 "yeah, awesome. Gearfried gains 500 points (ATK/2300] attack his dragon" his monster goes in to attack
"Threating Roar" Smith countered calmly, his dragon roars. thus stopping Jackie's attack.
"Aww man, I end my turn" his monsters point's going back to normal
Smith draws, looking at his card "hmm, I summon Alexandrite Dragon #2 ATK/2200 DEF/300)" thanks to mountain it gained the power bonus "attack his weak knight now"
"I don't think so Smith, reveal trap card. Skull Dice" Jackie's trap card revealed itself, the opposite being of his first die card appears and drops a red die. it rolls around a few times before stopping and landing on a 6 "yeah, now your dragons both lose 600 points" His dragons power down
"Gearfried counter attack" Alexandrite Dragon ATK/1600, Smith's dragon get's destroyed.
Smith LP:3800 Jackie LP:3900
Smith growls "I end my turn"
Jackie draws "yes, I play Release Restraint" he plays the card in the slot "I tribute one face Gearfried" his Gearfried shatters "to special summon Gearfried the Swordmaster (ATK/2600 DEF/2200)" Jackie's new monster takes to the field "slay his dragon" the attack lands destroying his dragon
Smith LP:3300 Jackie LP:3900
"Looks like I got you beat Smith" Jackie laughs "your move"
Smith glares at him as he draws "you're in my world Cypress and here dragons rule, I summon Mask Dragon (ATK/1600 DEF/1300) then I remove from play my dragon to summon your demise, Red-Eyes Darkness Metal Dragon (ATK/3000 DEF/2600)" his mask dragon shatters and his darkness metal dragon takes it place "destroy his swordmaster" the attack lands
Smith LP:3300 Jackie 3500
I see his dragon 'not him again, Jackie is in trouble' Ithink to myself as I watch the duel
Jackie draws "I play two cards face down and that's it" 2 cards appear face down in front of him
Smith draws smirking evily at Jackie "I told you I was gonna kick your ass Cypress, I use my dragons ability to summon a dragon from my hand. Come forth Red-Eyes Black Dragon (ATK/2600 DEF/2200)" his dragon appears on the field "then I tribute my red eyes to summon my Darkness Dragon" his normal red eyes shatters and black fire swirls from the ceiling and his Red-Eyes Darkness Dragon lands "my dragon gains 300 attacks points for every dragon in my graveyard and the 200 power bonus from my mountain field"
"But that's-" Jackie says before getting interrupted
"3500" Smith finishes "destroy him now" Both his dragons attack, but Jackie activates his face down card and it was Scapegoat "what!?" 2 of Jackies goats get destroyed
"You should know I don't go down easy rich boy" Jackie chuckles, smiling unphased "I believe it's my turn now" he draws "I play Pot of Greed, which let's me draw 2 cards" Jackie draws his 2 cards
"First I play Monster Reborn and bring back your Red-Eyes" Smith's Red-Eyes appears on Jackie's field "then I activate my face down card Metalmorph" Jackie's face down reveals itself "thus tributing them both to summon Red-Eyes Metal Dragon from my deck (ATK/2800 DEF/2400)" the red-eyes transforms "I set a card face down, ending my turn" a card appears face down behind his dragon
Smith draws, thinking to himself 'it's too risky, but I'll do it' "I remove from play my red-eyes black dragon and alexandrite dragon from play to special summon this, Chaos Emperor Dragon (ATK/3000 DEF/2500)" his dragon takes to the field "I use his effect and pay 1000 life points to destroy everything and you take 300 points for everything sent to the graveyard"
Jackie looks shocked "say what!?"
Smith LP:2300 Jackie LP:1100
The field get's cleared and their hands "your move Cypress, makes it count"
Jackie draws "I have nothing, I end my turn" he sighs in defeat
Smith draws, laughing "I play Card of Demise, this let's me draw 5 cards" he draws five cards "revenge is mine, you will humiliate me no longer Cypress. I summon Spear Dragon (ATK/1900 DEF/0)" Smith's dragon takes to the field "Spear Dragon end this now" his attack lands
Smith LP:2300 Jackie LP:0000
Their duel disks deactivate, Jackie falling to one knee in defeat and starring at the floor
"I feel better now" Smith say's before walking off, as do me and Jackie after I help get him up. We call it a night after we pay for our drinks
