It had been a long time since I uploaded anything here. During the Summer I had some personal projects that I had been working on. However, I haven't been able to get a drawing completed during that time, and I especially didn't get any writing done.

So while I was angsting trying to get my creative spark back, I decided to write an individual story to get some spark out before heading back to college for Senior year.

So here it is you guys, enjoy. The thumbnail is based on the art I got from ukent (http://www.furaffinity.net/user/ukent)http://www.sofurry.com/view/519255

Go watch him! He's great. ;)

This story, and Eric Lewis is (c) Me

Kimahri Ronso is (c) Square Enix

A Trip to the Beach

It was a rather quiet morning. The only visible activity going on was the slow flickering of the cursor from the empty office document displayed on the computer screen. Sitting right in front of it, a human boy around his early twenties with spiky brown hair just sat there, pondering. Not a word uttered from his lips emphasizing the silence that filled the room. He kept wondering what he could possibly write about. He had never even written a single thing in a while; it had been years since the last chapter of his story had been put online. He kept tapping his cheek with his index finger trying to come up with something, anything to make him write. But alas, his mind came up blank. The boy leaned towards his desk and grasped his hands on the sides of his head. He breathed a very heavy, defeating sigh and slowly shook his head.

'How could this have happened?' He thought to himself. He wondered how it could be possible for himself to find writing to be so difficult. There was a time where he was able to write what his heart desired and get a chapter out within a week or two. Now the times have changed and his motivation to write came less and less. Eventually it began to slip away from him with time. Back then, mistakes, goofs, discrepancies and imperfections didn't matter to him. What mattered was that he was delivering a narrative that he wanted to tell, creating a fantasy world of wonder and excitement for those to get lost into his imagination. Now the story is at twenty chapters with his beloved series a several years old, and nothing had been done to advance it. He just felt like he was wasting his life away with this irrevocable boredom continuing on like an eternity was going by. Was it some other project of his for drawing? Was it schoolwork? Personal problems blocking the desire? He didn't know, nor could he figure it out. Could it also be fear? Fear that his story was either not perfect or could never catch on to find and build a large enough fanbase? It's bad enough that he felt so isolated from everyone due to his fantasies and his character design choices and species. Now that loneliness was creeping to his motivations, desires, and ultimately his optimism and happiness, and it started to drag him down to the dark, dank sea of depression.

He took a look out the window from his left where the morning sunlight pierced through to illuminate the room. He stared still at the blinding light and kept staring for a little while until that radiance was the only thing he was concentrated on. The longer he looked, the farther the distance he looked beyond. He looked back at the accomplishments of the past, but also wondered what the future holds for him whether it would be better or scary. A few months back he finally got his associates degree from his college. After a few devastating failures, the fear and depression that ensued, he persevered and with the help of those few amazing professors, as well as the encouragement from his online friends, came out on top and graduated. He remembered how excited and happy he was when he marched at the stadium with his cap and gown on. He felt amazing glee upon claiming the degree which he still fondly remembers to this day. His degree still stood tall within the glass frame leaning against the wall. The words written in old English letters stating that 'Dixie State University has conferred upon Eric Michael Lewis the degree of Associate of Science.' Rewarded to him on that 'third day of May, in the year two thousand thirteen.' That day he graduated, but at what cost? Unable to draw pictures, let alone practice sketch with room for improvement. Unable to finish a chapter without encountering so much writers block. Even other categories of the boy's personal projects became affected by it. Only just recently he started getting back to a decent gaming schedule but even that gets delays in between.

Eric looked back at the computer screen and saw the empty document again, seeing the blinking cursor at the same spot it was always at. He took a deep breath and said to himself aloud.

"Maybe I'll listen to some music. Hopefully that should help me somewhat." He figured this could help him gather some ideas for his story. He switched on the speakers and adjusted the volume. Then he clicked open a program called RPG Maker XP, opened one of his small practice projects, and opened the menu for sound test. He looked at the options available to him briefly scrolling through the BGM section, and decided to play 029-Town07. As soon as the track started to play, he let go of the mouse, leaned back on his chair and just let himself relax. He breathed slowly whilst listening to the wonderful melodies played using the program's midi synthesizer, letting it take his imagination to the realm of fantasy with its harmonies. He imagined himself in a town having ice cream with his friends, and taking a walk in the park, and just about anything he could imagine at that moment which would fit the calm, cheerful mood of the song as it looped through several times. He didn't feel the desire to write though, but he decided he wanted some ice cream. So he got out of his chair, and walked out the bedroom door. He walked down the hall, and headed to the kitchen to open the freezer door of the refrigerator to look for some ice cream. Unfortunately there was no ice cream; however, there were still a couple fudge bars in one of the shelves.

"Eh, why not..." Eric said as he grabbed one of the fudge bars and closed the door. He headed to the TV room across from the kitchen and sat on the chair. After unwrapping the fudge bar and taking it out, he turned the TV on and set up the recliner. He took the first bite and found it to taste particularly awful. He noticed some icicles in the rest of the bar, but he never imagined it would overshadow the whole flavor and leave granules in his mouth. Reluctant, he slowly finished it while turning on Netflix to find something to watch. He looked, but noticed that there wasn't anything he wanted to watch. He did notice an Anime series that he put on instant queue was gone, and made a sigh from it.

"I still can't believe Guin Saga got taken off of Netflix." Eric said aloud to himself. "It was such a good show, and I wasn't even halfway through yet." He shrugged and turned the TV off. Not only was he struggling to write or draw, but he was also having a terrible day. It was clear that he had nothing left in terms of motivation. No writing, no drawing, no nothing. It was as if he was destined to be bored forever and to have nothing fun to do. The fact that senior year was just around the corner didn't help matter at all, and generally just made things worse. He might as well just give up for the rest of the day as it just doesn't seem to be getting better. At least to him anyway.

With that cemented in his mind he put the remote down, got up off the chair and headed straight back to his room. Feeling tired out and generally out of energy, he decided to just lay on his bed, but not before heading to his desktop to play another song from RMXP. This time he chose 060-Slow03. As the track began to play, he slumped onto his bed feeling jaded about the whole day, and pondering what he had done with his life. His mind just let itself wonder through the now more sorrowful tune of the song. Perhaps it was symbolizing that the passion he had for his productions had been lost some time ago. As the sad melody continued on, he felt like he wanted to cry, yet he had not the tears to let it out. Before he lit himself attempt to open his covers, he heard some knocking on his door.

"Yes?" He asked.

"It's me." Said the voice behind the door. Almost immediately Eric recognized who it was and he got himself out of bed. He stopped the music and headed straight to the door. He opened it, and sure enough he was right: it was his identical twin brother, Ryan.

"Whats up?" Eric asked.

"I was wondering if I could borrow your GBA Gameshark for a moment." Ryan said.

"Sure." Eric want to his closet and opened a case that contained his Game Boy Advance catridges. There he found a big white cartridge with a handle on it containing the _Gameshark_logo on it. He grabbed it, returned to the door, and handed it to Ryan.

"Here you go." Eric said.

"Thanks." Ryan said taking the cartridge. Before he left, he asked his brother a question. "By the way, did you ever hear from Kimahri at all today?"

"Not really." He answered. "He's been so busy with his work on the Final Fantasy X retelling as well as other projects that I hardly hear from him these days."

"Well you might as well call him." Ryan said as he opened his bedroom door. "It seems like he really misses you." This surprised Eric a bit.

"Really?" He asked. Ryan nodded.

"Yep. Anyway, thanks for the Gameshark."

"No problem." With that, Ryan closed his door. Eric did the same for his and hopped back into bed. He laid flat on his back with pillows placed beneath his head and started to ponder. It really had been a while since they had seen each other. They knew that since the announcement of the retellings that Kimahri's schedule would be all tied up. How could he get in his way, as Eric thought to himself. Ever since the Summer began they just seem to be drifting further and further apart. Not to mention other worries that had been built up since Kimahri went away. The boy was hesitant at first, imagining how awkward it would be to talk to him after having been apart for so long. 'Maybe I should call him,' he thought to himself. 'To see how he is at least.'

Eric got up slightly and just as he turned around, with sheer timing, his cellphone began to vibrate. He paused slightly, shocked from the surprisingly convenient timing while the phone continued to ring. Shortly after, he grabbed it to see who was calling, or what number it was. It was a number he had never seen before. Reluctant to know if it's a stranger or not, he flipped open the phone and held it up to answer.

"Hello?" Then right after he was responded to by a rather deep voice.

"Hello, Eric?" Eric gasped in surprise and held himself silently. He knew who that voice belonged to. "This is Eric, right?"

"K...Kimahri?" Eric replied nervously with a stutter. His beloved Ronso responded with a deep 'mhmm,' followed by a beastly chuckle. Having confirmed it was him, Eric suddenly laughed happily. "Kimahri! I haven't heard from you in like three months. What happened?"

"Kimahri is sorry." Kimahri said with absolute sincerity. "Ever since working on retelling, Kimahri offered more opportunities than before."

"That's great!"

"Yes, and all thanks to you, Eric." The boy paused for a moment, then replied.

"Me?"

"Yes, you inspired Kimahri to give it all in performance. The same way you loved it first time."

"The first time, that was around eight years ago, when I was fourteen." Eric replied with a giggle. "We didn't even meet until a few years after that." Kimahri chuckled at the response.

"True, true. But still Kimahri loved you all the same. Anyway, enough of Kimahri, how are you, Eric?"

"Well, I'm doing okay. I'm just in a slump as far as projects go. Haven't done much lately otherwise." Eric followed this up with a sigh. Then suddenly he said, "I missed you."

"Kimahri missed you too, hon." He said softly.

"Well anyway, I should probably hang up. You're probably busy with work, so I'll let you get back to it. Bye"

"Huh? No, wai-" but before Kimahri could finish, Eric hung up the phone, stopping the call. He then proceeded to bury his face into his pillows, folding his arms underneath, and began sulking. No matter how hard it was, he wouldn't complain to him.

'It's okay,' Eric said to himself. 'For now, I can wait.' After all, Kimahri was able to finally reach his dreams, so Eric felt he can't be in the way. He couldn't be a burden on him, no matter how much it hurts. Tears finally leaked from his eyes, staining his pillow. 'But I can't help thinking about how much I miss him.'

"Huh? No, wait! Eric?" The next sound that was heard was a long, slow boop that signaled that the connection was lost and that the receiver just hung up his phone. The caller was standing in a phone booth, having been using the payphone inside. It was none other than Kimahri himself. The 6'8" Ronso just stood there puzzled, wondering why Eric hung up all of a sudden. He sounded rather upset. Before he could dwell any further on this, he decided he needed to hang up the payphone, and get out of the booth which surprisingly was able to fit a tall, masculine feline like him in the first place.

'Better go.' He said to himself. 'Payphone is expensive.' He put the phone back in its place, and stepped out of the booth. He headed to his truck as he started to worry about his loved one. It seemed like Eric thought he was still at work. Little did he know he was already at the Hurricane area in Utah and was on his way to St. George on vacation. He wanted to check up on the boy before coming and was so eager to see him again. Because ever since the U.S. supreme court struck down the Defense of Marriage Act, also known as DOMA, and ruled it unconstitutional, he had been wanting to pop the question to him for sometime. However, he decided to wait until Eric was at least finished with college first.

As he started to drive on the road again, he continued to wonder the possible reason why Eric sounded so upset or sad. At first it could be because they were away from each other for so long. It certainly was embarrassing at first to suddenly talk to Eric after being away for a while. If Square Enix hadn't called Kimahri having him work on the retelling of his two most iconic roles, he would've been able to spend the entire Summer with his human mate. All the time he could possibly want to spend to get even closer to Eric than ever before. Thankfully Kimahri managed to squeeze some vacation time so he can get in that one last week Eric has before school would begin for him.

Then again it could be the conflicts and barriers that the two face as a couple. Kimahri was definitely a celebrity; particularly with the anthropomorphic crowd. So having a hunk like him dating a human who is practically a nobody would probably raise some red flags. Although not as bad as it might have been decades ago, there are still some hardcore furs out there who hate humans with a passion, and vice versa. Even so as time is going by, humans and anthros started accepting each other in society. However, human and anthro pairings are about as controversial a topic as abortion or gay marriage, and are still frowned upon fairly today. Eric's family approved of their relationship, but that doesn't stop the Ronso from thinking about other people's reactions and worring for Eric's safety. He was rather glad that he was not like other celebrities who only dated other celebrities or rich people for the sake of keeping up appearances, and instead found his true love who honestly and rightfully was given to him by destiny. He quietly left his own thought as he was now in town and close to the neighborhood area where Eric lives now. A great feeling tingled in his heart.

'Hang on, Eric.' Kimahri said to himself. 'Your hero's on his way.'

Meanwhile, back at home Eric just laid there on the bed with his arms behind his head. He didn't even want to listen to any music this time as he knew nothing interesting would come up in his mind. Nothing interesting would happen the rest of the day anyway he thought. It would just be dinner time with mom and Ryan with nothing really new or exciting happening. It just seemed to him that things have officially become boring for the family. The only wounds that went on came from the kitchen which he assumed was his mom just came home from work and was just preparing dinner. That was when the door bell started to ring.

'Now who could be coming here at this time?' Eric thought to himself. Chances are it's just probably some stranger. Eric adjusted his position and relaxed again. Then he quickly thought of something. 'Why don't I check up on my friends and see what they're up to.' He thought, so he got out of bed slowly and slumped in front of his desk. He signed into his various instant messengers to see if anyone he knew was online. The only one in one of them that he's had solid communication with as of late was Garr. He didn't know if he had a busy schedule or not. Neither Mikey, nor Kayrin had kept in touch consistently, though there are others that Eric hadn't spoken a word to for a while. Even one of his most beloved friends, the braided-mane lion Nieve hasn't been online either. It's understandable seeing how busy he currently was with his job search and his mates. Still it would be nice to hear from him every once in a while. Every response he sent to him will occassionally be answered, but even that's become increasingly rare. As the boy continued to ponder about his friends, he heard a knock on his door.

"Yes?" He answered.

"There's someone here to see you." His mother said. Eric sighed, disbelieving he would have someone visiting him today.

"Alright mom, I'll be right out." Who could possibly be visiting him at this hour? He said this to himself as he got out of the chair and reluctantly walked out his bedroom door. He really did not feel the mood to see anyone at this time. He's already had enough problems at his plate as it is; Also not helped that he's grown disillusioned to certain groups of people. Particularly the anti-human, anti-bishie crowd for either not being anthropomorphic, muscular, or both as a mate to a hunk like Kimahri. Of course it was only natural for the boy to learn that life just simply was not fair, but when does the unfairness go too far? He didn't know, and had to keep it to himself so that he wouldn't make his visitor feel bad, whoever it was. He marched down the hall and into the living room.

"Okay, may I ask who's here and who wants to see me?" He asked trying not to sound like a jerk.

"Hello Eric." A familiar, very deep voice said to him. It caught Eric off guard as he looked up. He quietly gasped in shock and awe as he could not believe what he just saw. It was none other than his beloved Ronso, sitting there on the couch, leaning forward and smiling. His grin beamed like a set of pearls glittered in sunlight, his feline eyes focused on the surprised human in front of him, his broken horn standing proudly on his head. Eric was at a loss for words; he couldn't come up with the words to say since this was so unexpected. Kimahri chuckled. "You okay, Eric?" The boy began to giggle, his mouth cracking a smile.

"Kimahri!" The boy ran towards Kimahri and leaped on top of him, grasping him tightly to a hug. Kimahri fell back a little from the sudden pounce, but held still and proceeded to hold his human in a strong embrace. Eric buried his face onto Kimahri's furry shoulder, letting out some tears of joy. The Ronso chuckled from the reaction and stroked his hair.

"You seemed glum earlier. What happened then?" Eric let go of Kimahri's shoulder and wiped the tears away.

"It's nothing, really. I just had a bad day, that's all." He giggled slightly and sat down on the Ronso's lap. "That is until you came. What brings you here? I thought you were at work?"

"Nope." Kimahri said happily. "Kimahri on vacation. Came to see you." Eric smiled brightly.

"Really?" He asked. "You came all the way to Utah just to see me?" Kimahri nodded. This of course made Eric giggle and blush, looking away from him all embarrassed. The Ronso gave him a tender lick at his cheek, causing him to shiver a bit. The boy responded to this with a kiss to his muzzle, which he lovingly returned.

"Kimahri did this for you, Eric. You mean the world to me." Kimahri said placing a hand on Eric's lap. He smiled warmly in response.

"Thank you." A little while after, Eric got off Kimahri's lap, and he got up off the chair and stretched.

"So, what's for dinner?" Kimahri asked.

"Ah, that slipped my mind." Eric said, "why don't you ask her?"

"Alright. Kimahri go unpack bags and cases." He said as he headed back outside.

"Would you like any help carrying those bags?" Eric offered. "I'd be glad to help."

"There's no need, hon." He said patting him on the arms. "Wouldn't want you sore now." He chuckled giving a wink.

"Are you sure? I can always help."

"Kimahri is sure. You just relax in your room, Kimahri join you in a moment." He gave Eric another kiss, this time on his forehead, and headed out the front door.

"Okay. You know where the guest room is?" He asked. Kimahri nodded.

"Yes." He said in reassurance and was already outside. Eric, so happy with Kimahri's return, ran back down the hall and into the bathroom, and proceeded to wash his hands. He needed to do it for dinner anyway, but that wasn't what was on his mind. What was on his mind is that Kimahri was back together with him again, and that was all that mattered to him. After his hands were thoroughly rinsed, he turned off the sink and dried his hands with a towel. Then he headed back into his room feeling a little bouncy, and excited. There really wasn't anything he wanted to do, but wait for Kimahri to come over. There's so much he wanted to talk to him about that he had no idea where to begin. So he decided to just be giggly and sit on his bed and bounce on it like an excited little boy.

Several minutes later, Eric hears a knock on his door. He smiled and headed towards it almost immediately. Opening the door, he saw Kimahri was standing there.

"Come in." Eric said, and Kimahri stepped inside. He closed the door and the two sat in bed next to each other.

"Eric's bed feels good." Kimahri said, rubbing the bed behind him. "Many good memories on this bed." He chuckled giving the boy a smirk. Eric laughed and rolled his eyes in a joking manner, obviously knowing what he meant.

"It's funny since you're more than twice the size of it." Kimahri chuckled in response and patted his back. "So you're all unpacked and settled?"

"Yes." Kimahri answered. "So. Anything new?"

"Well..." He wasn't sure what to say. "Not much extraordinary happen beyond the usual. Though I did watch a lot of movies with my grandparents."

"Oh." Kimahri said with a nod. "Lots of fun?"

"Definitely. Very suspenseful too."

"Play any games lately?"

"Mainly NES titles for now. Going slowly though, it can be tough without a game genie."

"Drawing?"

"Practice sketches. Need to do it more often though so I don't go rusty, you know?" Kimahri nodded.

"What about writing? Ever got back to it?" That last question quickly set Eric's mood down, remembering the writers blocks he's had both today and for a few years. He shook his head.

"No. I've never been able to at all." He said, pausing a few seconds before continuing. "It's like I've lost the creative spark I used to have. Same with drawing, I just have no motivation." Kimahri gave Eric a hug.

"Nonsense." He said. "You are creative, no matter what. Kimahri guarantee this. Your creative spark come when least expected. Just take time and don't force it. It'll come." Eric looked up at Kimahri, who was giving him a look a reassurance, and smiled warmly.

"Thanks Kimahri." He returned the hug and the two held each other closely in a warm embrace. Eric loved this feeling so much, and remembered that feeling of security that comes from being wrapped around Kimahri's muscular arms. Built to absolute perfection, yet so gentle to the touch. It was a fantastic feeling that he missed so much. After dwelling in the moment for a little while, Eric remembered something.

"There is one thing I definitely accomplished while you were away." He said.

"Hm?" Kimahri responded with curiosity. Eric let go of Kimahri's embrace and headed towards his desk. He looked at one of the shelves and grabbed a red binder filled with paper. He then returned to the Ronso's side to show him what he'd done.

"Here." He said opening the book. "It's a personal concept of a class system I've been working on." Kimahri grabbed the book and decided to take a look. Naturally Eric pointed several things out in order to explain it to him. "It lists the class names, skills to learn, stat boosts, equipment, support abilities, mastery bonuses, and when I'm able to use them. It also shows the amount of battles I need to win in order to advance ranks." Kimahri looked through the pages diligently while Eric just feel silent, and just looked down at the floor completely embarrassed. He felt nervous as he was unsure what Kimahri would think, and if he liked it or not. It wasn't an easy concept for Eric to put together and it took him an extremely long time to perfect. He wasn't even sure what players would think if said system was put into a game. Kimahri however, grinned after looking at it.

"Impressive." Kimahri said. "Kimahri like it a lot." He proceeded to pat Eric on the back. "You do amazing job." Eric giggled and blushed.

"It's nothing, really." He said. "All I did was take existing systems from my favorite games, and mixed them together. Mainly several Final Fantasy games as well as Dragon Quests VI and VII."

"It's very creative." Kimahri said. "Kimahri would spend many hours training all classes and have Eric learn everything. Make you the strongest little Keyblade boy Kimahri's ever known." Kimahri teased poking Eric in the stomach.

"Oh thanks, Kimahri. There's also a summon list and blue magic list after it." The Ronso then looked to see the lists in question. He also saw a list of Keyblade specific skills used by Eric and Sora in particular.

"Such talent." Kimahri said with a smirk, causing Eric to blush deeply. He petted the boy's hair, chuckling. "Kimahri's little Keyblade boy." He then started to laugh.

"Shut, up." Eric said laughing alongside Kimahri. After the two settled down, the conversation continued.

"Anything else happen?" Kimahri asked, but before Eric could answer, a knock was heard on the door.

"Dinner's ready!" That was Eric's mom calling. The two got up almost immediately.

"Let's go." Kimahri said. "We talk during dinner."

"Alright." Then they went out the door. A little while had passed, and Eric, Ryan, their mom, and Kimahri were all just sitting there enjoying their meals and conversing about what had been happening during the Summer, as well as what's going to happen during Fall. Ryan is still searching high and low for jobs in his field, their mom having a foot surgery coming up, and Eric of course beginning his (hopefully) last year of college.

"So what about you Kimahri?" Ryan asked. "Now that you're done with your work on the retelling, what are you going to do next?" Kimahri nodded from the question, and responded.

"Kimahri glad Ryan ask. After success of retelling, Kimahri thought of starting small Anime dubbing studio." This announcement caused Eric to nearly choke on his food.

"You're starting an Anime English Dubbing Studio?" He asked excitedly. Kimahri nodded, smirking as if he knew that was the exact kind of reaction he'd give to him.

"Yes. This to give projects a chance to localize. First project: Sword Art Online."

"Alright!" Eric said giddy with joy.

"Studio sill need setting up first. Kimahri currently negotiate with possible voice actors, and even show's creator." Kimahri spoke fluent Japanese, which is helped because of his dual-citizenship of America and Japan. Whenever Eric had a question about Japanese culture, or needed help pronouncing a word or translating a phrase, Kimahri was the go-to guy for help.

"Anyway..." Eric's mom said chiming in on the conversation. "Besides your new studio, any else happening? What brings you here?"

"Well." Kimahri said. "Kimahri missed Eric dearly while away, and felt bad for not calling much. To make up for it, Kimahri wanted to take Eric away on trip to San Francisco Bay. If that's okay."

"For how long?" Mom asked. "We still have to buy Eric his books for classes this semester."

"Only a few days." Kimahri responded, then looked straight at his mate. "How does this sound."

"I would love to go to the beach." Eric said. "Sounds great." Kimahri smiled.

"Good. Then it's settled. We pack up and leave next morning." Later that night, Eric was in his room filling up his suitcase with things to take to San Francisco. Clothes, swimsuit, sunscreen, toiletries, basically anything he could think of bringing.

"Hey mom?!" Eric called out to her from a distance.

"Yes, dear." She responded.

"Do you know where my goggles are?"

"Check the hall closet." Eric went to get his goggles, and by the time he got back double-checked to make sure he got everything. He decided not to bring any of his notebooks, sketch-books, pencils, and inking pens as he felt he needed to get away from them for a while. After all, he was going to spend the next several days alone with Kimahri, the love of his life, and no writers block was going to get in his way. With that in mind, he was determined to making this the best part of Summer yet, and he's going to go out with a bang.

The next morning came fairly quickly, and Kimahri had all the major beach supplies already packed and secured in the back of his truck. Including food, beach balls, blankets, umbrellas, etc. He waited patiently as Eric was getting ready. Then he saw the boy walk out the front door sporting his favorite red polo shirt and a pair of light blue swim shorts. He never looked this wonderful to him before. His mom was close behind him making sure he's got everything.

"Got your sunscreen?" She asked. Eric responded.

"Yep."

"Sunglasses?"

"Yes, mom."

"Okay." She said with smile. "Drive careful."

"Will do." Eric put his suitcase on the trunk and secured it, then hopped onto the passenger side of Kimahri's truck. "Bye mom." He said as he waved goodbye to her, and she proceeded to do the same before heading back to the house. The two made sure they were buckled up and before they knew it, they were on the move.

"Eric, you look wonderful." Kimahri said. Eric smiled.

"So do you, big guy." Kimahri chuckled as Eric noticed he was sporting a white tanktop and a pair of red gym shorts. "Alright! Let's hit the highway." They followed the road to the St. George Boulevard, then left on the Bloomington highway, and before they knew it, they were out of Utah and in Nevada. About an hour or two passed afterwards and the morning sun began to shine its brightest. The truck continued on their way past Mesquite and down the road. Eric and Kimahri didn't mind the sun at all as they went along. In fact, they loved the sun. It was perfect weather for the current mood they were in. Eric took a gaze at the environment around him. The lucious green trees and the overall look of the chaparral ecoregion just struck him in awe.

"It looks so beautiful." He said out loud.

"Sure is." Kimahri said in response. Eric looked back at him.

"So anyway, you think the new studio would do well?"

"Of course. Kimahri know what to do." The Ronso chuckled and patter Eric's shoulder while still concentrated on the road. He then asked a question. "Bring anything to do?" Eric shook his head.

"No. I needed to get away from that stuff for a while." Kimahri raised an eyebrow.

"Not even DS or 3DS? Eric not bored?"

"It's not that I'm bored, I just didn't feel like it." Kimahri looked at his mate with concern, sensing the air of dejection with his words.

"Eric. Is something wrong?" He asked.

"Nah, I'm fine. Sorry, I just wanted to spend the week with you. That's all." Eric smiled again and reached Kimahri to hug him. "I wouldn't want anything to get in the way of a good time between us." The Ronso chuckled and rubbed a side of Eric's thigh.

"Hungry?" He asked.

"To be honest, I kind of am." With that Kimahri pulled to the nearest exit to stop for lunch. They decided to eat at one of the nearby fast-food places, and when they finished went back on the road. The next few hours were spent just quietly driving on the road while the two cuddle each other and feel each other up along the way. Eventually Eric grew tired and dozed off to take a nap. Eventually, Eric was awakened with a nudge on his shoulder. His eyes slowly blinked open and he yawned greatly.

"Wake up, Eric." Was what Kimahri said as Eric was rubbing his eyes. "We made it." Of course he wondered what the Ronso was talking about and looked ahead of him.

"Whoa!" He was caught off guard from the sight. Towering above him was the familiar structure of the Golden Gate bridge as they passed by it. It was clear that they finally reached San Francisco. "This city looks even more amazing in person." He said. Kimahri grinned.

"Well maybe we should go more often." Eric nodded.

"Yeah, sounds great." He said and took in the sights of the city while Kimahri navigated his was to the San Francisco bay. Several minutes later they found themselves near the bay area. The crystal clear blue shores were a sight to behold. "Do you know where we're going?" Eric asked Kimahri.

"Yes. We head to private cove. Kimahri checked out private cabin near ocean. Just for two of us." He grinned while patting Eric's lap, causing him to giggle and blush. He pulled towards a bridge that lead to a small cabin that sat next to a part of the beach far away from any civilization or people. The two unbuckled and got out of the truck, taking all of their luggage towards the cabin. Kimahri put some of his luggage down to grab a set of keys. He unlocked the door effortlessly and allowed Eric to step in first. After the boy came in he looked around the place which consisted of a single bed, a desk with a lamp right next to the bed, a small cupboard with a small twelve inch TV on top, a stove, a microwave, and a bathroom on the right side of the room. Eventually Kimahri shut the door behind them having brought in all their luggage, and stood beside Eric.

"What you think, Eric?" He asked.

"It's perfect, Kimahri." Eric said in response, and then hugged him from the side. "It's a great place for us to be alone." The Ronso hugged back with one arm until they let go of the embrace.

"Go ahead and get settled, hon. Kimahri take care of everything." Eric set his suitcase next to the right side of the bed and laid down on it comfortably. The bed was incredibly softer than the one he slept in back at home, which made him feel he could fall asleep at any moment. Kimahri meanwhile unpacked everything he brought with him including all the beach supplies. Eventually things settled down for the evening and Kimahri joined his human mate in bed. They began cuddling each other closely and exchanged a few kisses here and there.

"For next few days." Kimahri said. "It's just us to have all the fun in the world." This exchange was followed with a nuzzle to the boy's soft cheek.

"Yeah, you're right." He said. "When you're with me, California is just amazing." The couple just relaxed throughout the evening, having dinner and scanning through the TV channels to see if anything of interest was on. This moment lasted throughout the night until Eric eventually found himself asleep in Kimahri's arms. The Ronso noticed this and turned the TV off with the remote. Then he switched off the lamp and proceeded to join his mate in dream land. Keeping him close from any random dream monsters that try to attack.

The next morning came slowly with the sunrise starting to illuminate the cabin through the open window. Eric slowly awakened from his sleep and saw the Ronso in front of him. He just laid there, his arms around him as he stared. His muscular chest breathing slowly, and the low purr emitting from his lion-like muzzle. It looked so cute to the boy. Eventually Kimahri's eyes started to open as well, and he saw the boy looking at him with a smile. He tightened the embrace a little as he awoke.

"Sleep well?" Kimahri asked slowly.

"Yeah I did. It felt great." The Ronso chuckled, rubbing Eric's back. He then let go of the hug and got off the bed.

"Go ahead and have breakfast. Kimahri join you soon." With that, he headed to the bathroom.

"Okay." Eric said, and stretched a little getting himself up. He fed himself with a quick breakfast and looked out one of the windows. He noticed the crisp beach reflecting the morning light. He figured now was a good time than any to get the real fun started. He went to his suitcase and opened it, looking at the things he packed. He looked at his goggles and figured that unless he really wanted to swim in the ocean, he didn't need it. After that he grabbed his sunscreen and proceeded to rub it wherever his clothes didn't cover including his arms, legs, ears face, neck, etc. "Hey Kimahri?" Eric asked.

"Yes." Kimahri responded as he got out of the bathroom.

"Do you need any sunscreen?" He offered the bottle for the Ronso to use.

"Nope." He said with a grin.

"Are you sure?" Eric asked. He nodded. The boy figured Kimahri didn't need it anyway since his fur covered his body anyway. Being human though, Eric did need it since he'd get burned otherwise. When he finished putting it on, he started to head out, but wondered if he should wait for Kimahri.

"Go on ahead." He said. "Kimahri catch up soon." He munched on his breakfast right after. Eric smiled and went out the door in his barefoot. He giggled and ran off the bridge into the sand. The soft sand felt quite cool between his toes at this time in the morning. He looked straight ahead to the open seas in front of him. The waves were majestic, yet kept a steady rhythm within the calm blue skies. He then ran closer to the water until his feet touched the muddy sand that connected the land to the sea. A wave came crashing down on top of Eric's legs, drenching them with cool water.

"Ooh!" Eric laughed. "It's quite cool." Then he felt himself being pushed back a little from a slightly bigger wave. This made him feel excited and ran around for a bit. Soon after, he looked back and saw Kimahri heading his way carrying a blanket, umbrella and a beach ball. He watched as the Ronso unfolded the blanket and laid it flat on the ground. Then he unfolded the umbrella and put it on the ground, and set the beach ball next to it. Eric waved to Kimahri whom saw him and waved back. He watched as Kimahri stood up and took off his white tanktop. His perfectly chiseled, blue abs now fully exposed. His pecs adorned by white tufts of chest fur. It was that exact muscle structure Eric remembered and fell in love with. Kimahri noticed Eric starring at him and gave him a wink. Then he pulled his shorts down, which gave Eric a look of awe. Kimahri was wearing an orange speedo. Not only did the color contrast well with his fur, but the garment just looked incredibly sexy on him.

"Wow!" Was the only response Eric could come up with.

"You like?" Kimahri asked with a smirk while flexing his muscles. Eric watched his flexing intently, admiring those muscles, and that bulge on his speedo.

"You know it." He said with a grin. Then shortly after flexing all his muscles and showing off in front of Eric, Kimahri slowly began growling playfully. He looked at Eric with a grin, and the growl grew louder.

'Uh oh' Eric thought to himself. It seemed like he was up to something.

"Better run, Eric." Kimahri said as he started to get on all fours, continuously growling and his tail swishing back and forth. Eric couldn't move properly thinking this as a weird way to play tag. Only did Eric start stepping slowly did Kimahri begin wiggling his butt into the air, getting ready to pounce on his "prey." Then suddenly, like a lightning bolt, the Ronso charged and leaped towards the human.

"Ahhh!" Eric shouted and started to run away, just barely avoiding Kimahri's grasp. Eric laughed a little, but had to run still now he has a 6'8" anthro chasing him like a lion. He stopped and turned only to see the beast in his way. He faked left and right repeatedly only to have Kimahri follow. Fortunately Eric managed to run right and around in circles as he heard a roar or two following behind him. Eventually Eric just ran straight down the beach, but was beginning to lose his breath. Kimahri took advantage of this and moved in for the capture. Eric kept moving as fast as he could, then suddenly he felt something hard knock him into the ground. He regained his composure quickly only to find himself at the Ronso's mercy. Kimahri growled playfully, towering on top of the boy while he was breathing heavily and his hear beat fast.

"Got you." The Ronso said making a low chuckle. He grabbed the boy and held him in his arms. Eric laughed as he was being carried back to the area with the umbrella and blanket. Kimahri set him down and stroked his hair.

"Like that?" He asked.

"That was fun, I'll admit. You certainly were beastly." Kimahri chuckled from the statement. The hours began to pass by and they did everything they could imagine. They played in the water, passed the beach ball around, had a picnic during lunch, and even simply laid there soaking up the sun. They even had some fun in the sand, burying themselves up to their necks while the other laid flat on their back. Eric even decided to get the crafts part of his artistic side out in the open by making a sand castle. He took his sweet time making sure it was like a grand kingdom he could possibly inhabit. When he finally finished, he admired his hard work and decided to savor the moment by taking a few pictures with his digital camera. The last one he took was the perfect shot. The angle precise, lighting and white balance just right. He now had something to remember this day. Then Kimahri roared and stomped all over Eric's creation like a Japanese monster would attack a large city. Eric laughed out loud after the deed was done.

"You beast!" Luckily Eric wasn't mad. After all he did manage to get some good pictures saved first.

"Rawr." Then eventually they just simply went for a walk around the beach. After coming back to the area, Eric began to converse again.

"You know Kimahri, you were right. I've had such a great time today." Kimahri smiled as the two just looked at the distance towards the afternoon sunlit sky beyond the sea.

"Of course." Kimahri said. "And we have few more days coming up like this."

"Definitely, but I don't know how long that's going to last." Then all of a sudden the smile that pervaded Kimahri's face, changed to one of concern like the day before.

"What you mean?" He asked. Eric was hesitant at first, but he slowly began to answer.

"It's just... by the time it's over, we'll be going back to the way things were. You'll be working on projects for your career, I'll be slaving away in college. And whenever I'm not doing that, I'm just laying in bed, or just sitting on my lazy ass doing nothing since I have no motivation to even finish my own projects. My drawing is sloppy, pixel art nonexistant, story progression has been in a screeching halt for over three years now. I've especially had no projects made at all in RPG Maker for the eight years I've had them!"

"Eric..." Kimahri tried to say something until Eric continued.

"I mean I love it here, and I would give anything to make this moment last forever, but I don't even know if I'm ready to go back. Not to mention all the anthros, especially the muscled ones, who hate me because I've taken you away from them. The fanboys out there on the internet just wishing that-"

"Let them fantasize!" Kimahri exclaimed suddenly, the interruption having caught Eric off guard. "Look." He said, putting his hands on Eric's shoulders as he turned to look up at his face. "What they say does not matter. They can have any fantasy or believe anything they want of Kimahri. You have the real Kimahri, right here." The Ronso then kneeled down so that his eyes were directly at level with Eric's. "As for Eric's projects, do what you did at college. Take steps. Or rather, give it time. Motivation come to you when least expected, like Kimahri say before. Wait for something to inspire Eric. You're creative, Eric, and original, even if others don't think so. You can do it, Eric. Don't let doubts weigh you down."

"Kimahri... I..." Eric found himself hypnotized by Kimahri's gaze, as if everything the Ronso is saying is deeply touching his heart.

"Kimahri not sure if do well in Final Fantasy X and X-2 retelling, but Eric inspired Kimahri to do so, and Kimahri able to do it all, because I love you." He then smiled once again. "Beside, why did Eric first write stories, or even make fun little RPG games in first place?" Eric than inherently answered without hesitation, his eyes focused on Kimahri's.

"Because, I love you." Kimahri grinned.

"See? If Eric's love work for Kimahri, than Kimahri's love work for Eric too. Before you know it, you may be inspired. Do many things. Drawing, story, and yes, even RPG Maker included. Just do what needs doing. If Eric feel lonely or jaded with school, call Kimahri. Kimahri come to you. You mean the world to Kimahri." With those soothing words etched into Eric's mind, he found himself bound between Kimahri's spellbinding embrace. "I love you, Eric." Eric's heart melted into a smile.

"I love you too, Kimahri." Soon the only sounds between them were sounds of the waves in the background. Kimahri moved himself closer towards Eric's soft face until their lips eventually met, and thus began their passionate kiss. Suddenly a familiar feeling awakened within Eric's heart; it was passion. The passion he always had with Kimahri, and suddenly, it was like he was lifted off his feet and into the heavens. Now all his fears, his stress, and his worries of the world were gone; melted away and vanished. He and Kimahri were one with each other with nothing to set them apart. All that feeling was suddenly replaced with pure bliss conjured up by the Ronso's muzzle matching his lips like a lock to a key. They breathed slowly and hotly as the two kissed. The Ronso's breath felt so stimulating the boy began to moan in ecstasy. Kimahri sensed the pleasure emitting from Eric's body and broke the kiss.

"Come, Kimahri can tell what you want." He said as he reached for Eric's crotch and groped it. This caused Eric to gasp and moan from the touch as his swim trunks began to show a tent. "Ooh, so hard." Kimahri chuckled while Eric just blushed immensely. Kimahri grabbed Eric's hand lovingly and lead back to their blanket. The Ronso sat down and placed Eric on his lap and facing his way so he could kiss him again. They kissed passionately once again, with Kimahri licking Eric's mouth, which he took as an invitation and opened it so he could explore. He also started rubbing the boy's back underneath his shirt, causing him to shiver loudly as they wrestled each other's tongues. The bulge in Eric's swimshorts poked through, already fully hard, definitely helped by the growing bulge of Kimahri's speedo.

Kimahri loved this feeling just like Eric. His furry blue paws felt so good rubbing Eric's soft, smooth, silky human skin. He then proceeded to rub his back lower while Eric laid his hands all over Kimahri's beefy arms, broad shoulders, rock-hard abs and bulging pecs. The Ronso purred in pleasure, his fingers burrowing underneath Eric's swimsuit to fondle his rump.

At this rate they found themselves grinding each other while Kimahri's hand started fondling his ass while one finger poked through the crack to tease his eager hole. Eric started to moan even louder and grind against the Ronso's bulge.

"Oh, Kimahri!" This pleasure was starting to build up fairly quickly, which only turned Kimahri on even more.

"Oh, Eric." He kept groping his ass with one hand while the other one was rubbing his bulge vigorously. They broke the kiss as Eric's moans started to pick up the pace. Kimahri couldn't stand letting the swim shorts get in the way, and lifted Eric's legs while he pulled off his trunks, leaving him in his shirt. Eric blushed cutely as he was now naked in the nether regions. His cock standing tall with a full six and a half inch erection. The Ronso, admiring his human's length pulled off his speedo to reveal his own spear of an eight inch member with impressive girth. The boy looked in awe at the perfection of man in front of him. Kimahri grabbed Eric and placed him on top of him turning him around so their cocks are right in each other's faces. Almost immediately he began licking and stroking Eric's cock, then putting it in his mouth to suck like a popsicle.

Moaning as he's getting sucked off, Eric followed suit by stroking and licking Kimahri's hot rod. Kimahri murred from the stimulation causing him to grope Eric's buttcheeks so he can deepthroat his juicy cock. Eric was sucking Kimahri's dick as well, the massive Ronso meat filling his jaw. For the next several minutes they developed a rhythm to their blow jobs until Kimahri let go of Eric's cock and pushed down on his butt. Eric moaning as his rhythm slowed; however a soft rub on Eric's arm from his tail wrapped around it encouraged him to keep going. Kimahri then lined his nose towards the human's butt and began to sniff it vigorously as if the boy was a bitch in heat. The scent causing Kimahri to grow even hornier and harder. The Ronso's ass sniffing caused Eric to grow harder from the stimulation. Then out of sheer primal instinct, the big Ronso buried his nose in between his mate's buttcheeks to take in all the hot scent he could muster. Eventually they both started to leak pre. Eric let go of Kimahri's cock and simply stroked it. Kimahri however was not done with Eric's hot ass just yet. He began rimming the boy's tight hole. The taste, so sweet, kept him licking very thoroughly. The pleasure was so great, Eric couldn't help but leaking precum so quickly. With a free hand Kimahri stroked Eric's cock slowly while he kept rimming. After that, he proceeded to finger him to get him ready.

"Ah! Kimahri!" Eric felt his inner walls clenching down on Kimahri's big middle finger. He growled animalistically in response.

"Oh, yes, boi!" he then proceeded to thrust his finger in and out of Eric's ass a little faster. Eric couldn't contain the pleasure as he felt his climax approaching. Kimahri however pulled out in the nick of time, believing to have lubed him up enough and to tease him more. He grabbed the human and put him down on all fours. Then he went behind him and licked the sides of his face affectionately. "Ready, Eric?" He asked as he securely mounted on top of Eric, lining his cock with Eric's ass and taint, and poking the hole with the tip. The stimulation proved to make Eric shiver incredibly, but he manages to make out a response.

"Please... Fuck me..." He said. "I'm yours... Please fuck me, and don't... Stop..." With that in mind, Kimahri finally pushed into his human slowly. Eric yelped out as the Ronso's behemoth pushes further and further into his prostate. The Ronso wrapped an arm around to keep him still while another massaged a butt cheek as he hilted himself inside. Eric began moaning intensely, sweat running down his body. Kimahri moaned as well finally fitting his whole cock in the young human's asshole. He began thrusting inside slowly as he lined his beastly face next to Eric's, breathing hotly in his ear. Eric rocked back and forth as his lover thrusted good and deep, leaking even more pre cum inside him. He shivered and moaned plenty of times back and forth as he got used to taking in his length. Kimahri started humping faster and with more force. At that rate he couldn't help it as natural instincts kicked in since Eric's tight hole felt so good. His hips continuously slapping his cheeks like a carpenter would work a hammer on a board. Entranced in ecstasy Eric looked back at his lover, and Kimahri did the same giving him some encouraging licks while humping even harder and faster.

This rhythm lasted for quite a while, at this rate Kimahri was on top of his human, fucking him wildly and leaking pre into his rectum. Eric's moans were music to the Ronso's ears, and his own moans only added to the lustful serenade they had going on. Eric's moans grew louder and faster sensing his climax which could not be held back any longer.

"Kimahri! Ah! I'm... cumming!" His ass started clenching even harder, practically squeezing Kimahri's cock, causing him to growl and thrust his hardest, balls deep. Hips and balls smacking his cheeks with such force that they've become red at this point. This caused Eric to go over the edge; screaming loudly he shot a thick rope after another of cum into the sand bellow him, leaving him a puddle between the boy's legs. This of course started to send Kimahri over the edge as well and near his climax too.

"Eric!..." The Ronso shouted until he let out the loudest, fiercest, most proud roar he ever made. With one final thrust, he shot his torrent of seed inside Eric's prostate, filling and coating his rectum. The boy felt the head ant came extra loads on the ground in response. Kimahri kept emptying his balls inside the human's lovely ass, instinctively thrusting even more while doing so. Eventually Eric's climax settled, but Kimahri's kept going, and it overflowed so much cum was leaking out Eric's ass and added to the puddle he already made below. After several minutes, Kimahri finally began to slow down. His thrusts delayed further and further until eventually stopping. The Ronso breathed heavily, relieved to have felt this wonderful feeling in a long time. He looked down on his lover, who also breathed heavily while regaining his composure. The just laid there for a while, waiting until they can breathe normally. Kimahri smiled warmly rubbing Eric's hair softly. Eric smiled back with a blush on his face. Kimahri purred happily and gave Eric a soft lick on his left cheek, and then Eric kissed him back.

"Feel better?" Kimahri asked. Eric nodded.

"Yeah... Way batter." Kimahri chuckled and started to pull out. Eric grunted slightly as he pulled out then felt slightly more relieved, but still a little sore. He then felt himself lifted off the ground as Kimahri picked him up and held him in his arms.

"No." Eric said softly. "You were good." Kimahri chuckled and carried the boy towards the water and washed away the mess they made. When they finished cleaning up, Eric gave Kimahri another hug which he returned.

"Thank you, Kimahri." Eric said. "You're the best."

"Ronso must always honor his mate." Kimahri said. "Kimahri always there for Eric in need." He set Eric down and they stood up again. "Call for Kimahri, and Kimahri come running." As Kimahri walked back towards the cabin, Eric made a shout.

"Hey, Kimahri!" The Ronso looked back at him, and then he put his thumb and index finger in his mouth, and blew through it to make a whistling sound. The boy made a great big smile afterwards. Kimahri grinned from his call and ran back up to him, holding him up in the air. Eric giggled as he was being lifted off his feet and kicked the air as Kimahri kissed him from behind while taking him back to the cabin where they spent the rest of the evening.

The next few days were spent on the beach and in the cabin, and both Eric and Kimahri had the time of their lives with no care in the world. They did everything from taking long walks, swimming, sand drawing, and even making sweet passionate love to each other, over and over. Sometimes they even fucked twice in a row. The moments they shared were of absolute bliss. They had tons of fun together, and it seemed an eternity.

Unfortunately, the great moment eventually had to come to an end. The next day they had everything packed and ready for the trip home. While it was sad for them to do, they knew they would have to eventually. Though they didn't mind much at all since they were simply happy to be with each other. Even though school was right around the corner, it didn't bother Eric anymore. Rather, he felt ready to take it on with sheer courage. The car ride home was not as quiet as the one before. During the whole trip they discussed many things. From the classes Eric is taking the coming semester to current events to future plans. Of course the latter is more discussing what might become. It was scary to think about it, but they weren't worried about it. Eventually at the dead of night they made it back home in time for dinner. When they returned, Eric greeted his mom with a hug.

"How was your trip?" She asked. Eric smiled.

"We had a great time..." After dinnertime passed, Eric and Kimahri planned on spending the rest of the week together in St. George. They still had enough days in the week to play together, but that was for another day as they were tired to do anything else. As the two walked back down the hall, Eric and Kimahri conversed quietly.

"Ready for movie day tomorrow?" Kimahri asked. "Just the two of us?" He gave the boy a quick hug.

"Absolutely." Eric said. "Game day too." Kimahri nodded and the two exchanged a kiss.

"Good night, Eric." Kimahri said before retreating to the guest bedroom.

"Good night, Kimahri..." And with that the two were separate again. Even though they were at home together, they were still bound by separate bedrooms. It didn't prove to be a problem at all though, as they were together for as long as they lived. No matter who or what tries to drive them apart.

Eric walked back into his bedroom and switched the lights on. He put the suitcase to the side deciding he could unpack it later. He stretched a little, relieved to be back in his room. He decided to check his computer before going to bed, so he went to his desk and turned on the monitor. He then realized he left it on the whole time. What appeared on the screen was the same blank office document that had been opened when he first tried to write. However, Eric looked at it with a smile.

"I know exactly what to write..." he said to himself. It was like Kimahri had given him the inspiration he had been looking for all this time. He felt very happy from this as he found that very thing he thought would be lost forever. He knew that as long as he keeps Kimahri by his side, and as long as he had his love, nothing could stop him from letting his imagination sore to new heights, and to share his beloved creations, adventures, and yes, even his love with the world, or even more so, the universe. He pulled out his chair, sat down, grabbed his keyboard, and began typing into the document.

'My Hero and Me: My Greatest Adventure Ever. Chapter 21: A New World...'
