I was on the front porch making sure that we have all our nesseccities for the trip. Howl was packing some extra things for the trip in the kitchen.

"You got everything Howl!?" I asked

"Almost" he replied.

Then a wild idea appears. "Hey Howl, what kind of tent are we using?"

"A sleeps 3 one, I mean how much space could a zebra her size take up?"

"I'll be back" As I take off on all fours. (because I run faster with me being a fox and all) When I get to town I head to Rarities carousell boutiuqe. I went through the front door and saw her working on something. "Hey Rarity, can I borrow something?"

"Sure Tricky, whatever you like. But could you try on this new hat?" It was sparkly fedora with diamonds resembling a piece of each of the mane six's cutie mark. (over all when you turn it you see the diamond, butterfly, apple, etc) "Well I cant right no-" She threw the hat on me quicker than I could finish my sentence. Then speaking again I said "Rarity can I borr-" As she put a mirror in my snout so I could see how it looks. "Wow, I feel great"

"And you look great to" Rarity said.

"Okay, 2 things: 1, could I borrow your tent? and 2, how much?"

"Oh, you mean my castle suite? Of course, but when you're done with it make the beds before returning it to me. Also, 18 bits." So I gave her my money, took the tent, and walked back to my house. Right as I was walking towrd the house something caught my eye. Off in the everfree forest, there was a dim red light. 2 actually, looked like eyes. "TRICKY!" But when Howl called my name they vanished, I shrug it off and go see what Howl needs. When I got there I found out that Zecora was drinking some tea with him, and she had her saddle bags placed neatly on our counter. "That was quite a wait, I must admit. But do you two have the supplies to fill our plate?" I look at the bags that have been labled. One said food and water, another said camping accessories. "oh yeah"Howl said "Twilight came over with Zecora and she insisted that she organize and label everything" I check inside and was quite shocked to find how much you could store in a duffle bag. "This is enough food and water to last us 5 days" I said shockingly.

"And dont get me started on how many supplies we have.(there was even enough room to put raritys tent inside) So, anything else happen when I was gone?"

"Yeah, fluttershy came over wanting to see how our plans where doing. And she tried patting my head."

"And?"

"Nothing"

"Well, I have been at this longer than you and I do have more experience at this."

Zecora spoke up."Ahh, furries of such noble breed. su-"

Howl interupted adbruptly

"Hold on a sec, I just wanted to be a wolf"

"But you resemble a wolf correct?"

"yeah"

"Even though you just wanted it, you still have my respect."

We talk for a bit (it still amazes me she can rhyme so many times without breaking that) when 3 rolled around we got up and left the kitchen. And as I lock up I hear something faint in the direction of the forest "stay on the path" a whispering breethe said while I turned the key. But hey, I have alot of stuff that my subconcious tried to scare me on before. But since Howl or Zecora did'nt hear anything I just shrugged it off and we walked. Just before we went to the entrance, I heard a loud but faint "WAIT!" from fluttershy in the distance. I told the others to stop for a moment and went to the rushing fluttershy. "If you're going to go off the path, put this on if spooky things start happening." She had a necklace wrapped around her hoof that was a gold metal chain with a magnifying glass on it. "you too huh?" I said. "Why yes, you didn't happen to hear that faint voice in the forest to did you?" I had a bit of a worried expression on my face, and I nodded. "Oh good, she already gave the warning." Then Howl perked up

"Warning about what?"

"I'm not to sure, but all I know is that if you wander toward a-"

As a white bunny appeared with a clock tapping on the glass. "Oh my, it's Angels feeding time. I better go...but one for the road." She scratched my head and scooped up Angel and made her way back to her hut. "I wonder what she wanted to tell us." Howl questioned. Zecora came in and said "We can't sit hear with our questioning eyes. We better go while Celestia still lights up the sky." So we venture forward and I wrap the chain of the necklace around my wrist to keep it close. "stay to the path" what echoed inside my head.
