Kouji's Point of View
The sounds of the city were all around me when I exited the Ocular Sight Systems (O.S.S.) HQ. My implants were in and I was giving them a test drive so to speak. My guide dog was still beside me, his harness handle and leash in my left hand, my mind wondering if these ocular implants would truly replace a white cane or guide dog this time. We continued down Austin Street heading for the 4 way crossing with Continental Avenue.
"Four-way intersection, Austin Street crossing Continental Avenue on your right, Ocular Sight Systems HQ nearby." The voice of my O.S.S. G.P.S. .said.
The feeling of seeing with my eyes was weird, since I've been blind about, well to many years to count. Kuro slowed, stopping on the curb, feeling those raised Braille like thing under foot. We continue forward, with the light in our favor - reaching the other side, we stop. I turned around looking at my surroundings the tall buildings scraping the sky all around me. My eyes come to lay on Kuro, his silky black fur shining in the sunshine. Now coming up behind Kouji is a tall red furred guy, his hands on knees breathing heavy, taking a calming breath. "Jeez Kouj you could have walked slower for me." Kouji turns to the guy, "Sorry, guess I forgot, Shuichi with all the sights, maybe I did miss having working eyes." Kouji gives a smile, leaning into kiss the guy in front of him. "It's fine, so how do they feel?" I raise of his shoulders, "Their itchy, very itchy." Releasing Shuichi from the quick kiss and just stares at him. "Shuichi... your cute."
Shuichi, Kouji's husband for as many years as he's been on the Force, stands 5'7 tall with reddish orange fur, with tall fox ears with black tips. His clothes at this point are polo style short sleeve shirt and long dress black pants.
