An unusual change

I was sitting in my AP biology class finishing my project. When I got a text from my friend Alexis.

"Hey I need to talk to you during nutrition. Can we go somewhere private?" It said.

"Yah sure. Why? What's up?" I replied

"You'll see. Bye"

I didn't even bother texting back. I needed to finish this so I didn't have to work on it during spring break. A little while later the bell rang and we were dismissed to nutrition. I went to the usual spot where I meet with my friends, a bench under the giant tarp outside the cafeteria.

"Hey. You wanted to tell me something?"

"Yah. Let's go to secret garden" she said.

Secret garden is..exactly what is sounds like. It's a garden that surrounded by the C building with a bunch of flowers, and plants and 3 benches for people to sit down and just relax. Only seniors are allowed in so it's not like your not gonna know anyone there. Except today it was pretty empty today. Only 3 people were sitting on the bench to the very left. We sat the to right so they couldn't hear.

"So..I've been holding this in for a really long time now. I'm not sure if you noticed and I'm totally fine if you don't talk to me after this but I'm just gonna say it" she let out a long sigh "I'm gay" she said leaning back against the wall.

"Aly...Your my best friend. I've known you since like first grade. You think that would make me not talk to you? I freakin love you. I'm serious! I've had a crush on you since like sixth grade. It's sad i haven't told you this entire time!" I didn't notice I raised my voice a little and some guy behind me said:

"Hey man. I feel you" he said pounding his chest with his fist.

"See? He feels me" I said rolling my eyes.

"Yah I suppose but promise me you wont tell anyone. Please!"

"I don't see why your maki-"

"Promise me!" She slammed her paw on the table.

"Ok I promise. Why are you making such a big deal about this?"

"Because I don't want anyone to know!"

"Alright. Well wanna go get a pizza and hang out at my house after school?"

"Yah I guess. We should probably go to class now. See you after fourth." I said as we went our separate ways.

My next class is AP statistics. I had not problem with the class it was the teacher I didn't like. I don't think any of his students like him.

The next two period flew pretty quick. As soon as the bell dismissed us for lunch I went to the front office to meet up with Ali so we could leave. We walked up to the big security guard, a tall black bear with a scar on my cheek, to show him our ID's to be let out. We both got out and got in my car.

"Sorry if I overreacted earlier" she said crossing her arms.

"Pssh! Don't worry about it. It's completely fine. So what do you think about what I said?" I asked starting the car.

"Well I mean, your cute. But your a guy. You don't have a chance with me" she laughed.

"Wow" I let out an awquard laugh "so your saying if I was a girl I'd have a chance?" I laughed.

"Yup"

"Wanna rent a movie?" I asked pulling into the Walgreens parking lot.

"Sure I'll go pick something"

She came back with Perks of being a Wallflower and 21 Jumpstreet. Then we went to pick up a pizza from Costco.

About half an hour later we finally made it to my house. My mom was asleep on the couch. She was still dressed in work clothes. She must've been exhausted today. I gently took her shoes off and put a blanket of her.

As soon as the husky walks into my room, jumps on my bed and nearly hits her head on the wall.

"It's so bright in here" she yawned and rubbed her eyes.

"One sec"

I set the pizza on my bed and grabbed a dark blanket from the living room and pinned it over my window and turned on my lava lamp do it wasn't completely dark.

"Much better" she opened the box, took out a slice, and took a bite with little strands of cheese still connected to the rest of the pizza. I popped the movie into my Xbox and sat next to Ali to watch. Nearly 4 hours later we finished the movies.

"Omg that was the most ridiculous movie I've ever seen!" I laughed.

"I know right! So what now?" She yawned.

"I don't know. I'll be right back" I took the left over pizza and put it on the coffee table in the living room for when mom wakes up. I went back into my room to see Ali asleep on my bed. I didn't feel like waking her up so I picked her up and went to drop her off at her house. I wasn't sure how her mom was going react to seeing me holding her daughter in my arms. She'll want to know if she's ok, if she's hurt, hungry, sick, etc. she's really overprotective.

I pulled into her driveway and went to knock on the door. Her mom, a short husky with graying fur opened the door.

"O Andy! How are you?" She hugged me. I was kind of shocked. I've never seen her like this.

"Im fine. I have Ali in the car she fell asleep at my house. I just wanted to drop her off" I said leading her to the car.

"Can you take her inside for me? I don't think I can carry her"

"Yah sure" I carefully took her out of the car and took her to her room and put her on her bed. As soon I let go of her she opened her eyes and smiled at me.

"Hey. You feel asleep so I-"

At that moment she pulled me close and kissed me and bit my lip.

"See you tomorrow hun."

"Hun?" I said with a shocked look on my face.

"Shh..just go home and sleep. You'll need the energy."

"Uhh...ook?" I walked out.

What the hell just happened? I kept trying to figure out why she kissed me the entire way home. As I pulled into my parking space all of a sudden I got a feeling I was gonna pass out. As I got closer and closer to the front door the feeling of passing out got worse and worse. I rushed to the door fumbling with my keys. I felt like a school janitor with a giant ring of keys. I finally found the key, opened the door, rushed to my room, locked the door and threw myself on to my bed putting myself into a mini coma.

When I woke up the next morning, Ali was sitting on my chest.

"Good morning boo. Hows my favorite little Shepard doing?" She licked my cheek.

"What the hell? How'd you get in my room?" I rubbed my eyes.

"I told your mom we have homework to work on. Come on get up. I need to show you something."

"But I jut woke up!" Burying my face with my other pillow.

She dragged out of bed, blindfolded me, and walked me into the bathroom.

"Ready?"

"For what?" I crossed my arms.

"You'll see right now!" She said pulling the blindfold off.

The person I saw in the mirror was not me. It was a girl. A short, Australian Shepard, with all the same fur patterns as me.

"Did I always have boobs? Wait!.. Is this me?!?! I'm a girl?!" I looked at Ali.

"Mhm. It's you" she smiled and hugged me.

"Stop hugging me! Why am I a girl?!"

"I turned you into a girl."

"What?! How?!" At this point I was shouting.

"I can change people's appearances. How they look, talk, change their height, change their gender, and so on."

"But why'd you change me?"

"Well you said you have a crush on me and I thought you'd be a cute girl sooo...I made you a girl. And your a really cute girl by the way." She kissed my cheek.

"Stop kissing me! Can you change me back before my mom comes home?"

"You don't want to see how it is first? It won't matter if your mom comes home or not. When I change something on a person, they were born like that. So you were born a girl not a boy."

"But I was born a boy."

"You were.. Buy I changed that."

I walked back into to my room and screamed into my pillow.

"Why are you so mad? We're the only people who know that I made you a girl. Your the only one that remembers being a boy. All your friends consider you a girl now because I changed that. So calm down and lets get some breakfast."

"Fine. But can I borrow some clothes?"

"Why? Just go in that."

"But all my clothes are manly."

"Ugh! Fine. Lets go swing by my house first." She grabbed her bag and headed to the front door.

I walked into the bathroom just to check myself out.

"Hmm. I am a cute girl."
